" Luki.. Luki wake up! Hello..? " A voice said in a slightly anoying tone. Atleast one would find it anoying if they were haveing a very peaceful rest and then forced to snap up from their drowsy awakening instantly. Luki rubbed his eyes with his paws and moaned as he sat up from bed. " What..? " He moaned. Looking at him from the end of the bed was the ninetales Lunarani. He had his head tilted slightly and seemed a litte worried but soon smirked and replied. " Its in the afternoon and your still asleep! " The ninetails did not move its mouth and speak physicaly like Luki normally did since his physical speech could only perform barks and other canine like sounds but since he was a psycic pokemon he and Luki could easily hear each other and the lucario was hardly aware by now he was even listening to the pokemon's mind. The ninetales sure sounded physical since he talked to him all the time during the time that had passed since his odd first days with the kind human couple. Lunarani's younger sister Luna on the other hand had grown a little more shy and looked at him with a strange expression he could not really understand from time to time. She did not appear to have a crush or anything it just looked confused and concerned.
It had been a good week. Luki still kept his lost lovers body with him and Rable still did not have even the slightest hint that might give away his soul was out of his body. That the poison within him from age had made him rather dead.. Luki's energy and love for him kept him like a doll and stoped the poison from doing anymore damage. During the time that had passed both the gypsy humans, Jane and Henry had agreed the mewtwo's soul was still lingering with Luki and that perhaps in good time something could be done to help him as well as Luki. Until then they did not look at Luki like a insane person in grief that refused to let his love go. They let him kept Rable around and thought of him as a brave knight waiting for his friend to wake up. Like the story of sleeping beauty they told him. It really cheered Luki up and he loved this new family so much. With a yawn he got up and slid off the bed, the floor creaking as his paws made contact with the wooden floor. The ninetales added. " Today everyone is getting cleaned up for a festival we will be attending tonight.. Sis, mom and dad are already done. They wanted me to get you and.. " The ninetale's voice trailed off.
Luki had read his mind however and finished. " Keep a eye on you..? Huh you are not that bad.. Really kind and smart i think.. " Luki said with a smile. Lunarani nodded but added with a physical sigh " Yeah they just know i HATE baths and sis is tired of trying to force me so.. They thought you could help out.. And i know you wont disobey them so im doomed.. " Luki smirked and knelt down slightly so they were at eye level. Luki stood at about the hight of a young teen human. About five feet and the ninetale's was almost four feet tall from his paws to his ears so there was not a huge hight difference. It just sort of hurt Luki's neck to always look down. In a assurieng voice he replied. " It is just water.. Not that bad. Dont worry okay? Lets go.. "
That was not the exact answer Lunarani wanted but he nodded and decided to lead the way. " Theres a lake just to the east of here.. Follow me. " As they steped outside the houndoom that had been recovering from his burn injurys yawned slightly and watched Luki leave with a slight smile across his muzzle. " Morning.. Or afternoon... Whatever.. " The houndoom thought and Luki heard him and nodded back at him. That was actualy the first time the houndoom had said anything to him. Well directed his thoughts at him anyway. He looked alot better and very relaxed now though.
" C'mon! Lets get this over with.. " The ninetales nagged and Luki joilted slightly before nodding and following him again. " Sorry.. " Luki said softly. " Tis okay! Um.. Its over here.. " The ninetales swished its tails all at once and moaned again before they passed some trees and came upon more of a stream then a lake. The water was clear and flowing while also rather shallow.
" There's some soap on the grass over there.. Hmm.. " The ninetales said with another physical sigh. Luki nodded and picked it up. Lunarani already was cringeing and backing up a couple feet. " Oh c'mon dont you want to get that dirt out of your fur? " Luki asked.
" Sorta.. But that water is freezeing.. I REALLY dont want to go in there.. " The Ninetales moaned.
" Okay well.. If you do without any sort of hastle i will make up for it somehow if you wish. " Luki tryed to reasson. Lunarani tilted his head again just slightly and replied. " Oh? Like..? "
Luki had no idea what to expect from the ninetales so he quickly replied. " I dont know.. Whatever it is you need help with. "
Lunarani paused and looked deep in thought a moment before replying. " Okay.. I do have some questions and stuff i would like to ask.. If you will help me find answers for em then i guess i will try to endure the bitter freezeing waters of.. Hell.. "
Luki laughed a few seconds before replying. " Sure whatever! C'mon.. " He began to step in the water and shivered just a litte. It was a tad cold.. Slowly the ninetales forced himself one terrible step at a time to go into the water with Luki. Once in he sat himself down with a yelp from the chill and looked Luki in the eyes. " Okay.. T.. There.. Now um.. Are you going to wash me? I cant move things with my mind as well as my sis and i might lose that dumb soap.. "
Luki nodded. " Yeah.. Okay bare with me i need to get your head wet first. " He cupped some water in his paws and soaked the fox's head several times. By now the pokemon's entire frame was shakeing like a leaf but he soon said. " So my first question is- " " Woah wait, you asking me now? " Luki interupted. " Yeaahhhh.... " The fox quickly said in a slightly anoyed tone. " Okay sorry i just thought it would be later on. I did not think you could endure the torture your in AND maintain the sanity to speak to me. "
The fox sighed. " Its fine once you get numb.. Or used to it.. I cant tell.. " Luki laughed again at that and nodded. " Okay sorry. Go on.. " He began to scrub the soap on the fox's head.
Lunarani seemed to take a deep breath and then said, " How did you know you loved Rable..? That mewtwo..? "
Luki paused a moment appearing a little shocked by the question but soon replied honestly. " Because every time i was around him i yearned for more of his company and to be closer to his body. I wanted to never leave his side for a second and i always wanted to feal his warm breath brush through my fur. His skin is really soft too.. Like I dont know.. A pillow? heh.. " He began to lather up the soap then dump some more water on the ninetale's head.
After shuddering a moment from the cold Lunarani replied. " I see.. Um.. Did you ever wonder things though like.. Maby you would not like him since he was a mewtwo and you were a lucario? Or maby.. Did you ever think that you just thought you liked other boys but maby you were just confused and would not when you tryed to um... Make out..? "

They went silent a few moments and Luki went on scrubing at Lunarani's back. Brushing down with his paws and then carefully cleaning each of the fox's nine tails carefully. When he was done with that he looked over the fox's chest. " You might not like this but your front side is a dirty mess too.. You will have to lay down so i can clean it. I cant get past your front paws that well with you sitting up like this.. "
The fox moaned " Fiiinneee.... " And Luki took him near the shore where he layed down on his back on some smooth rocks in about a foot of water. He shivered slightly but he was almost used to the water by now. Luki began to scrub the soap up and down Lunarani's chest slowly while shruging a moment before saying. " I know how you feal.. Lunarani nodded with a thankful expression. It was not like he was going to bring him to the festival though.. Not while he was.. Sleeping. No way only his family seemed to be able to understand him. He still kept a link on his body though. It was at the wagon but if it caught fire or anything else unexpected he would sense it and be there. He would never let Rable go. Not ever..
