Chapter 3

I slowly start to wake up finding myself alone in bed, the window shades pulled to the sides bring the sunlight into the small motel room, I dress myself up strapping my photon sword to my belt and armor gear onto my body, I sniff in the air there was cooking in the small kitchen room, and seeing Trace still in her pajamas cooking up some breakfast. "Well good morning, Zachary. . . How was your sleep?" She said smiling towards me as she turns back to lift up the two pans settling them down on the black desk, revealing the two pans had some crispy bacon, sided with some rice balls, and cooked up pork chops covered with sweet chili sauce. "MMM that's looks delicious, next time I'm gonna cook up a fantastic dish that will blow your mind!" I said smiling with excitement towards Trace, settling down on our chairs, and we start to dig into the amazing dish that the flavors blow in our mouths, our taste buds wanting more and more as we chomped down the white rice balls, chewing downing the pork chops, and then wiping our faces with some napkins from all the food we just ate. Trace started to get herself dressed, placing on her gear and armor, and slapping the shield onto her back and her light machine gun. We started to walk out of the motel all geared up, walking towards the stage where people were gathering up again like last night.

"Change of plans. . . We are heading out now to the floor's dungeon. Make sure you've got your strongest weapons, the highest level you reached so far. . As said before we will be teaming up in pairs and squads, make sure your ready we are leaving tomorrow!" the male purple arkatian said on the stage guarded by two red coated players wielding small plasma rifles, walking with the arkatian back to the tent. Trace and I were now heading to the valleys to train more, we headed down through the forest equipping our weapons in hands as we reach towards a rocky trail, and we turn to our right to see a wolf and human walking on the path. The human had a right prosthetic arm that looked like it came from that robot movie from the 1980's, equipped with a pistol having designs of roses on the handle and the sides of the pistol. The female wolf was dressed in a set of armor and was equipped with a MA37 assault rifle in her hands, the two players started to come closer towards us, gripping their weapons, they were preparing for a fight, and they came closer pointing their weapons towards us. I draw out my photon sword for defense, standing in my defensive stance, and the sword beams out a midnight purple blade. "Get back, Trace!" I shouted out in anger gripping my sword in the right hand, Trace didn't listen instead she pulled out her battle shield with her Uzi submachine gun towards the wolf, and the pair just came closer holding their guns from a short distance. "Drop the weapons or ill drop you first boy." The armored wolf said not lowering her rifle and the wolf stared towards us thinking that we are the threat. The man started to hold out his pistol towards the right of my ear, wrapping her finger on the trigger, and fire a few shots towards the drones that started to pop from behind. "What the hell, you almost killed me with your gun!" I screamed out towards the man turning around to see hostile drones of many kinds coming towards us, beaming out small bullets towards the four of us, and we were surrounded by only a dozen of these things. Trace and the female wolf started to come closer walking backwards against their back, the wolf started to shoot at the few drones that were surrounding the two. "Shield of fire!" Trace said as the front of her shield glowed in a bright yellow aura, the drones bullets would burn as they attempt hit at Trace's shield, and the wolf panicked in fear jumping back towards her partner. There was only two or three drones left, I dash forwards whispering to myself a sword skill my making my 360 body spin towards the drones slicing my sword into the drones bodies. I run back towards man pointing my sword at his neck, Trace already caught the wolf in a cornered stance shocking the pair in fear "Now your names, Players" I said shouting out towards the man, gripping my sword near his left side of the neck. "It's Adam... and that's Uriel. What's your plans next kill us here, or let us go back to our travels" the man said shivering in fear. "Well no I'm not gonna kill you nor let you go back on your travels, I might have too just take you guys with us to the first boss, like it or not we need all the people to fight off the boss" I said flicking the photon sword switch off, strapping It to my belt, and handcuffing the two players.

_A large group of players popped out of the bushes surrounding the four players, the purple arkatian rushed towards me with his red coated guards. "Well are we heading to the boss or what and are these players with you?" the arkatian looked into my eyes, patting me on my left shoulder, and the red coated guards dragged Adam and Uriel from the front with two other buffed up red guards equipped with light machine guns. We slowed started to head out back on their travels to the boss room, me and trace already started to prepare ourselves for the boss room. Most players slowly stopped towards a tall large grey door with vines covering the door, the doors started to open, and the players made their way into the room. The room was covered in junk and scrap metal, there was hills of blunt and dull junk scraps, and the monster boss started to rise from under the players throwing most of the players including Uriel and Adam breaking their cuffs while they were thrown into the air. About four to five minions came out walking out of the stacking hills of junk and scraps, the boss was an abomination of a Rynar and a cyborg wielding a long machete blade, and its minions were equipped with blunt or sharp weapons. "Remember the boss has an extra health bar once we destroy all of its health bars also has a slow healing boot up to regain its health. EVERYONE SPLIT INTO GROUPS!" The purple arkatian said drawing out his revolver that has lighting designs on the gun, the players started to form into four separate groups, and Trace and I made our ways towards Uriel and Adam. "We cannot allow them to die like this, we need to heal them." Trace said shouting out towards my face, I gave her some of my healing bottles that would give the two players 75% of their health, and she would pour into Adam and Uriel's mouths giving them some time to recover. I charge into battle leaving Trace to help the paired players, I draw out my photon sword into my right hand dashing towards the rynar's legs giving it a long short cut into its body and then slice into the minion's neck slicing it off, I turn around to see the large gripped claw come in front of me, hitting me and throwing me back towards Trace. My healthbar drops to 63 percent, I slowly pull myself up turning around to see Adam pull out his revolver. I point towards the rynar's right eye where a black gem was. "Adam! I know I treated you like crap for a few hours but I'm gonna need your help. Could you shoot his eyes, I'll help you to distract the boss!" I shouted out towards Adam, he turned around to me nodding and then pointed out his revolver towards the rynar including the purple arkatian as well held out his gun from the other side, they were expecting me to do my best. The started to fire at his eyes and I dash back into battle, holding out my sword as it glows in a midnight purple aura, I run towards the towering rynar jumping in the air with a front flip slice into the cyborg half of the rynar's body. I turn back watching the two players fight off the boss, I jump back holding my sword in a reverse hand grip, making my final attack at the boss as the god damn monster loses its health, I started to make my way back towards the boss holding out my sword, making a body virial spin attack towards the rynar's neck. "SABRE SKILL: STAR SURFACE SLASH!" I shouted out as my body begin to flow with a white aura, I slice the rynar's head off as blood burst out from the beheading of the boss, I land onto my feet turning around watching the players scream victorious. _
