They Meet
#1 of Roommates
Our story mainly revolves around my character's Thor and Silver. Alexander "Thor" is a six foot tall white German Shepherd with black ears, a black nose, and he has emerald green eyes. Thor is a stoner, but he doesn't consider himself one. He smokes pot to help help with his ADHD. Jacob "Silver" is a five foot nine folf, a hybrid of a fox and a wolf, with black on silver fur. Silver works at a call center where Thor works IT.
This is mostly a series of short stories of the adventurers that Thor and Silver get into, some stories will be long other's will be quick little ideas that popped into my head, hope you enjoy
Silver sighed as he started to leave work and walk home. He lived in the city where everything was in biking distance from his apartment, but recently his bike finally broke beyond repair and he needed a new one. He just hadn't had the time to go and get one. Half way home on his walk his headphones died and the folf just stood there and wanted to scream. "Just my fucking luck." he said as he put the headphones in is backpack. Just then a red car pulled up next to him and the window rolled down.
"Hey Pup, need a ride?" Silver's head whipped to look at the voice and then pointed to him self. The mostly white German shepherd nodded. Slowly the folf approached the car
"Do I know you?" he asked as he did recognize the Shepherd who then laughed. "We work together, well kind-of." he said "We work at the same place, just different departments." he then produced his building badge and it the same as Silver's. "OH! I've seen you around, you're Thor." the folf said as he ran to get in the car with the shepherd.
"Why does everyone call you that?" Silver asked as he got in the car
"We can talk about it on the way your place. By the way, where are you going?" Thor inquired.
"I live at Pinewoods Apartments."the folf said as he sat his bag on the ground and closed his door and they took off.
"Sorry about the smell and that's not to far from me, I live at Scenic Village." Thor replied. "So why Thor?" Silver inquired again as he noted the smell of marijuana in the car.
"I have a huge interest in Norse culture and Mythology and Thor happens to be my favorite and no I'm not just saying that as a cover to hide the fact I'm a huge comic book nerd." the Folf laughed as they drove to the Folf's apartment.
The trip was much quicker and easier than walking. They pulled into the Folf's complex and Thor smiled at Silver. "Take my number if you ever need a ride." Silver smiled as he saved Thor's number in his phone.
"What do I owe you?" Silver asked as he gathered his stuff.
"You're fine, it wasn't that far and it was on my way." Thor smiled at the folf who smiled back. Silver looked around the parking lot then his ears folded back and he look to Thor.
"If it's not to much to ask, can I stay at your place? My roommate has her boyfriend over and he's a huge dick." he pleaded. Thor nodded and quickly backed out and headed to his apartment.
When they got to Thor's apartment the living room was a lot simpler than the folf expected, a black reclining chair that looked worn with years of use and a simple black couch that match the chair. In the middle was coffee table that was scratched up with Norse symbols, some done very well and others not so well. The center piece of the room was a huge tv that hung on the wall and an small entertainment sat below it, the folf could see at least four different game systems. Just like the car, the house smelled of marijuana, but it wasn't as heavy in the house.
"It's not much, but it's home." Thor said as he followed Silver in. The folf smiled and sat down on the couch, Thor sat on his recliner like he did every night.
"You'll have to forgive me, again. I don't have a tv service, I mostly just watch YouTube or Netflix." he said.
"I don't mind, I do the same. It makes my roommate mad, says I'm skimping on my end of the payments. I'm looking for somewhere else to move." Silver said as he got comfortable. Thor smiled as a thought crept into his head.
"I just happen to have an extra room if you're interested." Silver smiled as his tail started slapping the couch.
