Aeden and Yuki
This is just a random RP that me and my friend were doing one day. Its not over yet, but this is the first part. Starts off with me posting then her. Enjoy the read

Aeden was out practcing his magic in a clearing in a forest. It was a warm day, birds were flying and chirping, a few clouds drifted by slowly, and Aeden was furious. He never did learn how to use magic very well, and what little he coul use was unpredictable and almost useless. He was busy consentrating when someone snuck up behind him
*pokes him in the back with her tail
He turns around and places a hand on the hilt of his sword. With a slightly annoyed and angry tone of voice he asks the creature in front of him "What do you want?" After looking the female over he decides that she isnt a threat to him and removes his hand from his sword but keeps it within quick reach of one of the throwing knives at his hip.
* her ears lower and on instinct she takes a two steps back before answering the dragons question* sorry if i bothered you its just i don't see many dragons. I was curious and wanted to meet one.* her tail swaying behind her then wrapping around her waist*
Still somewhat annoyed but no longer angry with her he replies "Well, you met one. Does it make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Am I everything you thought I would be? I hate to tell you this but your talking to the wrong dragon if you want a friend, so if you dont mind just leave"
*she blinks and looks down and saying in a quiet voice* oh I'm sorry I bothered you*Then turns and walks away to climb up a tree. she finds a thick branch and lays on her stomach with her chin upon her hand just quietly watching the dragon out of curiosity with her tail swaying in air above her
'Stupid woman, cant she see I was busy. Now back to where I left off.' Aeden spends the next several seconds with his hand stretched out in front of him. After a while a small flame flickered in his palm, but it quickly vanished. "Damn, I'm never gonna get this right." Angered by his failure to control his magic he draws his sword and starts to hack at low hanging branches and small bushes. After some time he finally calms down and sheaths his sword. Sitting down next to a tree that avoided his fury he takes some time to calm down and relax. 'This is so stupid, dont even know why Im trying to learn this shit.' Glancing up into another tree he sees the female from before watching him. "Still here I see."
*giggles* from what I've heard most dragons learn magic when they are young. but from what i can tell you can't even control it at all *crawling out to the thin edge of the branch* maybe what i hear is wrong. after all your the first dragon i have met and.. *ears poke up as she hears the branch begin to snap and give way. she falls as the branch breaks a piece of the broken wood cutting her leg as she hits the ground* ow that hurt, oh well it isn't to bad *placing her hand over the cut her palm begins glow a green then ceases to glow. as she removes her hand the cut is replaced by a small thin scar* oh man guess it was a deeper cut than i thought'
Slightly shocked but not showing it "Where did you learn to do that, maybe whoever taught you can teach me too. And as for being taught when we were young....." He trails off as he starts to think back on all the events of his childhood that he can remember, mostly the bad things. The anger he has been hiding for so long soon shows on his face. He Pushes past the girl, knocking her back over. "I hope it hurts..." He doesnt get far before his anger burns out and turns to sorrow for all the loses in his life. He leans against a tree for support and stares silently at some clouds way out in the distance. 'What did I ever do to deserve any of this crap.' He slides down the tree till he is sitting on the ground, his back spikes carving small grooves into the tree bark.
*sitting back up and wondering what she had down to upset him so much she goes after him. finding him sitting under a tree* to answer that question about who taught me it was my mother. she was a healer. she taught me most of what i know now. she use to teach me every time she had a chance, but...*her ears would go down as her tail would wrap around her waist* but she died, of a disease, it took away her strength and she was unable to use her magic. I tried to help but with my magic as immature as it was at the time could only help ease her pain. my father keeps telling me that there was nothing i could do to change what happen but i still think i could have tried harder.*she stood there with her eyes on the ground and tears in her eyes*
Looking up at her "That sucks....but at least you remember your parents. I dont even remember what my mom looked like and I never new my dad. Seems like we both lost important people..." Getting up and brushing some grass and a bit of dirt off of him he adds "But I dont have time to talk about this. I have things that need to be done and I dont have the time to babysit you all day. Im sorry about your mom, but thats your problem" He starts to walk off but doesnt get far before he collapses on the ground. Pushing himself up into a sitting position he coughs a little than says "Forgot how much using magic takes out of me." 'That was only the single most embarrassing thing that happened to me this month...'
blinks* you used all of unnecessary energy to try one small spell it looks like. if you really want to learn how to use magic then you should learn basic healing first. it teaches you to control the flow of energy you use for a spell. the thing is its harder to learn how to control magic if you don't control your energy flow first. to little energy and the spell won't work, too much energy and it won't be stable, like when you tried that fire spell, you used to much energy so it was unstable *she turned and started to walk away as she said to him* if u try using unstable spell you will die, if you don't pass out first *waves her hand saying goodbye*
Wait" He tries to stand but falls again 'damn...twice in one day' He gets up and leans on a tree 'Cant believe Im bout to ask a woman for help. "You seem to know a lot more about this than me. You should teach me." 'Well, if she does help me, its free....maybe, if not I could end up dead. Either way, it would be an interesting break from failing on my own.' He finally regained enough of his strength to be able to walk on his own. He gets up from leaning on the tree and walks over to her "You never did tell me your name, unless you like being called woman all the time."
*ears perk up and looks over her shoulder* you should stop by my village sometime we don't get many travelers.* she starts to walk again* and if you really want me to teach you your going to need to do something in return. you'll find the village directly east of here. as for me I'm going to get herbs. like my mother I'm a healer in my village, but unlike her i only use magic for sever cases the body can't learn to fight of disease if you don't use herbs. so when you arrive at the village talk to the elder tell him Yuki sent you * she waves again and walks deep into a forest*
'Do something for her....it cant be that bad, and it would be nice to have a place to sleep at night other than on the ground.' Speaking out loud to himself "Looks like I go east" After travelling east he eventually finds what he assumes is her village. As he is walking around the few people out and about smile and wave at him, some of them commenting about having a new visitor. Aeden asks for directions to the elders house and finds it with no trouble. He arrives and introduces himself as Yuki's friend. The Elder tells Aeden that she is out gathering herbs but he is welcome to wait in his home till she returns since she would stop by his house later that day.
she returns as she walks into the elders house and greets the elder as her father. then her father leaves to walk the village* as i said before we don't get many travelers around here, but bandits, bandits we get then the very often ave 2 or 3 months actually. always the same bunch too. they come in here rape the young girls, taking and murdering those who get in their way. they always leaving the village a wreck and even on fire. my father all ways hides me. away when they come so i'm not one of their victims. as the only magic user they would kill me even if that magic is only healing. *she walks over to a a few baskets and begins to place out the herbs she found from the forest in to them sorting them by what they are* its been 3 months since they were last her so they should be showing up soon. *she turns around to look at you* so that brings me to what i want in exchange for teaching you magic. plz help protect the village and send those bandits running off from here for the last time. if you help us i will surely teach you
The rage in Aedens face was visible to anyone watching. The veins in his neck were visible and his breathing became rather heave, almost sounding like a growl. His hands were curled into fits so tight that he was drawing blood from his own palms. The pure hatred could almost be felt radiating off of him. Not angry with her, but yelling none the less "Where! Where are the bastards! WHERE! I'LL KILL THEM ALL!" Getting up and knocking over his chair with how fast he got up he grabbed Yuki by the arm and picked her up, not intending to hurt her but that was unavoidable. "WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY!" Some sense found its way back into his head and he realized he was taking his rage out on the wrong person. Setting he back down, but still enraged, he apologizes "Sorry, I didnt want to hurt you, but those..those ANIMALS killed my only familly and burned the village to the ground. I hate them. and when I find them, Im going to kill them, all of them. Every last one of the fuckers." Finally able to gain some control over his emotions he backs away from her and picks up his chair but doesnt sit down. "Next time you even THINK they might be coming, tell me. I want to be ready for the bitches"
we don't know why but they always come on the fifth of a month todays the third *she rubs her arm* so we have 2 days and because of that Ive been gathering herbs the last two days so you have time to prepare. am sorry to here about your family *She grabs a bow from a rack* now if you'll excuse me i have to practice my archery. * she walks to the door* make there a in on the fart east end of the village tell them I sent you and you'll get a free room with how loud you yelled I'm sure they will even include meals. by now everyones probably heard that you will help us* she walks out the door and to a small woods out near the village to practice her archery.
'Was I really that loud.....well atleast they know what Im here for.' taking her advise and following her directions he finds the inn in no time. 'looks like a decent place' It wasnt much, but it was ten times better than sleeping out in the wild. He talks to the owner, who was more than happy to see him, and gets a room. Just like Yuki said it was free of charge with meals included. After getting in his room he unstraps his weapons, takes off what little armor and clothing he wears, and lays down on the bed nude. Yawning he speaks to himself out loud "This isnt that bad. I get food, a bed, and revenge....all because I didnt kill that girl when she bothered me. Maybe after this.....things.....will get..." He drifts off into sleep.
aiming for the targets drawn on trees she pulled back on the bowstring, holding her breath she let the arrow fly. the arrow missed and hit the tree two yards behind the one she aimed for. sighing she pulled another arrow from her quiver and fired it missing again* damn it *she lowered her bow and looked up noticing it was getting dark she headed home. when she got home her father wished her goodnight as she went to bed. after stripping down (with what she wheres idk she just doesn't walk around naked lol) she lay in bed thinking of what might happen when the bandits get there. she knew her aim wasn't at all combat ready and needed a lot of work and she knew people were going to get hurt* oh brother, what would you do if you were still here * she looked out to the stars before falling asleep* -next day- *stretching as she woke she put on her clothes and walked out into the village looking around at the many villager placing wood planks over there windows in preparation for tomorrow. she sat on the bricks of the village well and watched the villages at work*
After dressing, arming, and eating Aeden went out for some fresh air. 'Gods, I havent slept like that in ages.' Noticing all the people preparing for the next day let him know just how serious this was. 'Hope this goes as well as I have it planned out' Spotting Yuki at the well h walks over to her. "So, do your people have some sort of defense plan for this? If not I have an idea that might work, but we would need as many people that were willing to help us. Some people might die, but more will if we do nothing." He looks around at the people busily boarding up their homes and hiding away their things of value. "Its sad that they have to even plan for this...." 'Most of my life, I have been hoping for a chance to get back at those bastards, and now that its here I may not be able to do anything...
they aren't boarding up the windows to keep there valuables safe, they are doing that so their family is safe. because of you most of the men who r able to fight have picked up a sword. it funny really, how one person can give hope to so many people. i never thought i'd see the day where the village wasn't afraid to fight back. maybe it was luck that i met you. * she says as she stood up* now if you don't mind i have one day to practice my archery and i need all day to do so. why don't you meet some of the villagers who are willing to fight beside you. Vladamire over there lost his father in a raid a year ago. he has taken it upon himself to pick up his fathers sword. the boy is only fourteen and he's willing to fight to avenge his father, but i don't want him to fight nor does his mother it would break her heart if he died. but the boy is a determined one.* she smiles then runs off to her home to grab her bow*
'Sad...this is the first time I have ever been a positive influence on people. All these men, willing to fight by my side...I guess they trust me, but I dont even know them.' Walking over Vladamire "Hello young man, I suppose you know who I am, so there is no need to introduce myself. And if I am correct, your name is Vladamire. You are the young one that wishes to fight beside me, even though it goes against your mothers wishes. Is that correct?"
*vladamire looks up* yeah thats me *smiling he rubs the back of his head* it really cool of you to come help us out mister whith out you i wouldn't be able to avenge my dad
Smiling a little "Its a noble thing that you want to do, and I like that I really do," His smile fading from his face, gaining a serious look "But I dont think you should fight when they attack. It would be a terrible loss if someone so young as you died in the fighting."
*looking up at him vladamire* you really don't think i should, but i'm only following what Yuki's doing, she is going to fight and the elder has forbidden her
Surprised "I...didnt know that. But just because she is going against her father doesnt mean you should go against your mother. I will hav a talk with her, but you need to listen to me now." Thinking for a moment of how he could sway the teen from joining the fight "Do you remember the pain you felt in your heart when your father was killed? Now think about how your mother would feel if you got killed. It would be worse than what you felt because she would have lost 2 loved ones....do you really want to put your mom through that?"
*he looked down* yeah maybe your right, i won't fight this time, but when i'm older im going to protect the village * he said as he started to run home* oh and if your going to look for Yuki she will probably be in the woods next to the village its directly west of here* he said then ran home
"Thanks, now I need to go talk to her..." After heading west he soon hears the sound of a a bow firing and the thunk of arrows hitting tress, and occasionally the ground. He heads toward the sound and eventually finds her. "You didnt tell me he told you not to fight." Looking at the targets she set up "And with skills like that, maybe you shouldnt." Pulling one of the knives off his belt he takes aim and throws it at the closest target, not hitting dead center but close enough for it to be a kill throw. "But on the other hand, if I keep turning down all the help that is offered I wont have anyone to help me fight. I have never used a bow, but maybe I can help you."
If I had told you that i was told not to fight you may not have helped me stop him from fighting * she said letting go of the string the arrow landing a bullseye on the far target, started jumping up and down shouting with glee. took another arrow and let it fly this one hitting just above the white of the target lowering her bow and turning towards you* whats it to you anyway your just doing this to avenge your family and learn magic aren't you?
Taken back by her last comment 'She has a point, why should I care if these people die or live. The only reason I am here is for me' A slightly aggressive tone to his voice "Thats not the point. If you die then you cant live up to your half of the deal. Revenge is just another bonus to all of this. Those are the only two reasons I'm here now. I dont care about your people or you. Once this is over I'm leaving." '.....Did I really just fake being angry just so I could keep up my image...I really dont care about them, I think.' He walks over to the target and pulling his knife free from the tree and slides it back into place on his belt. "Lets just hope that when the time comes you can still get good hits like that"
I have the whole day to practice don't i? *looks around* and besides theres a godd bit of places i can hide out here if it doesn't go well for me* she says as she stars picking up the arrows she fired* hopefully i don't have to hide* she walks back to the spot she was at and pulls a arrow from her quiver. pulls back on thestring and lets it fly, the arrow missing the target complete and hitting the ground* damn it. so have you spent your whol ife searching for these badits or what?
'I hope she is as good at hiding as she thinks, but at the same time I hope it doesnt come to that' "No, I havent been looking for them much at all. I always wanted to kill them for what they did, but alone I couldnt do anything, and besides, that was over 200 years ago. There is no way that this is the same group but what they do is so similar that they must be decedents of those bastards. They need to die and thats that." Pausing for a bit, untill the silence became uncomfortable "Im going back to town to get for now. If you need my I will be there somewhere"
these bandits arn't your ordainary bandits *she said as she shot another bullseye* if i don't hit them directly in the heart they won't die. its a group of vampires,which is y i said they take some of those who get in their way. *she lowered her bow* i probobly should have told you what they were from the start. they will be here tommorow. exactly when it turns tomorrow. twelve oh one * she looked at him* if i do need to hide im the only one who can cuz im they only one who can stop myself from bleeding. hope that fact that they are vampires don't make it anymore difficult for you
"Vampires....that just means I dont go for head shots with my knives. It changes nothing, they still need to die...maybe even more now that I know what they are." He continues on his way back to th village, doing some thinking on the way 'What have I gotten myself into. Defending a town that I dont live in from vampires. All this for a pretty girl....a girl thats going to teach me to control magic. Yeah thats it, the whole reason Im here is for the magic lessons.' After a few moments his thoughts continue 'Why am I rationalizing my reasons for being here, I know good and well what I'm after. Its not some stupid woman that I dont know, or some village I dont live in, Im here for personal gain....right?' He arrives at the village and helps the people prepare for the attack as well as help plan the defence.
*after a few hours of practice she notices that the sun has begun to set she starts to think* ' thats all i need him for is to kill these damn vampire thats all. then ill teach him to control his magic and never see him again' *she lowers her bow then says outloud* oh brother, where are you why did you have disappear now, now of all times.oh i hope your all right *looking at the targets* good thing im a quick learner its only taken me four days but my shots are close enough to bullseye to atleast wound them enough for another person to finish off.* she begins to pick up her arrows* 'i hope this goes well or everyone may be slughterd.
As the day wore on people began to get more and more tense. As the sun began to set many of the people rallied to fight went to talk to loved ones and say goodbye, maybe for the last time. Aeden was talking with a man who was ready to fight. "Dont worry, this will be the last time they attack" Aeden says to the man. The man replies "I hope your right, if not w will all be killed." The man then walks off to join the others. 'Where is she...its getting late. I hope she got better with that bow, otherwise she has a good chance of hitting one of us.' Just as the sun sank below the horizon Yuki arrives at the village. He walks over to her and says "I was beginning to think you wouldnt show."
I was collecting my arrows besides we have four hours befor we can even expect them * she said as she looked at him* so how many of them do you think..*she was cut of by her father*"Yuki i told you that you will not fight you must get inside now and hide"* he said* and i told you that i wasn't going to take this anylonger im not a little girl anymore father i'm going to fight*he shock his head* "think about what your mother would say" *Yuki turned to face her father* mother is dead, shes been dead for years and its time you came to terms with that * her father sighed and walked slowly back to the home in which he would hide in*
"That was a bit harsh, dont you think. He's just worried about you is all." Walking off to talk amongst the villagers, mostly to boost their morale before the fight soon to be. It is new a few hours later and he has returned to Yuki. "This is probably the most random time to say this, but my name is Aeden Vartuk. I just thought you might want to know who is helping you, just in case we dont live through tonight."
well aeden i don't know about you but i'm certainly planing on living through the night they should be here any minute so i suggest you ready yourself* she said as she pulled an arrow from her quiver and as some others drew there swords. she held her bow aimed to the ground as she looked out into the darkness. a small breeze picked up then they could hear galloping in the distance on the north side of town where the villages had set up a small barracade large enough to keep a hourse from chargeing in Yuki stood there tembleing. it was obvious that she wasn't ment for battle. as she stood there trembleing a tear formed on her right eye and she mumbled something under her breath*oh brother...where are you
Aeden draws his sword and readies himself as the others do. Though it doesnt show, he is nervous. As a final attempt to get them ready he gives a short motivational speech "They have ruined your lives before, destroyed your homes before, killed your loved ones before. Not tonight. Tonight WE kill them. Tonight WE ruin THEIR lives. Tonight WE WILL WIN!" The other give a big cheer, then concentrate on the approaching vampires. 'well, this is it. Do or die, and I dont like to die' One of the men gathered suddenly yells "They're here!"
the galloping horses stop at the small baracade as the leader jumps of the horse hi"whats this a deffencive" *the leader laughs* and a village with swords drawn as well it seems we have given this village to much freedom, drop your weapon and we will spare you" * he says but no one listens* " very well we will slaughter you all" *he yells as the rest of the vampires jump off their horses and draw their swords and charge at the village some jumping onto roof tops some running straigh in. the villages hold their ground as the vampires draw near Yuki draws her bow and fires a arrow directly at the leader. the shot would have been a direct hit through the heart if the leader hadn't blocked it with magic* damn I almost had him *pulling another arrow from her quiver looking over at aeden seeing a vampire on his raight raise his sword* AEDEN LOOK OUT!!!
Reacting quickly he raises his sword with the broad side of it facing the vampire to deflect the blow. Following up the block with a quick counter he slashes the vampire across the chest in a downward diagonal slash. The attack did almost nothing to the vampire, but it did get it to back off a bit. 'These things are gonna be harder to kill than normal things.' Moving with practiced skill, Aeden moves in for the offensive, taking a few light swings at the vampires left side in an attempt to fool it into thinking he was an unskilled fighter. After the 4th swing he suddenly changes tactics and takes a hard quick swing at the vampires right side. The vampire tried to block the blow, but it was too powerful and knocked the blade from its hand. Taking advantage of its loss, he draws one of his knives and quickly goes in for the kill, stabbing it several times where its heart should be. The Vampire dropped dead. Aeden looked around and saw many of the villagers in combat, some of them wounded, but so far none dead. 'I dont have time to stand around and stare, I need to help' He goes after another vampire to battle.
*Yuki fired arrow after arrow not killing vampires with one shot but saveing the life of the villager in battle with them.* ' looks like im more of a support character'* she fired of another arrow this time hitting one directly in the heart* gottcha *then a shiver went up her spine and her ears went down as her tail wrapped around her waist* " nice shot neko" *the leader said behind her. she quickly pulled a dagger from her pocket and attempted to turn around and stab the vampire but hegrabbed her wrost and broke it then grabbed her by the throat and lifted her off the ground. useing her spell to heal her wrist she grabbed his arm with boths hands in an attempt to break free but all she could do was scream. showing his fangs* "a magic user huh well ive never had to pleasure to taste the blood of a neko who could use magic, and unfortnatly for you i am not pure blood im sorry to say any bite from me will not turn you into one of us and this is my favorite way to kill" * he said as he hissed and bit into her neck as she screamed*
Aeden sees the vampire grab Yuki. As the freak talkst to her he is running to Yuki's aid. Suddenly the vampire sinks his filth fangs into Yuki. 'Oh no...Im too late' With pure rage powerful enough to move mountains he yells at the top of his lungs "GET THE FUCK OFF OF HER YOU BASTARD!" He throws 2 knives at the vampire, one goes wide and misses the other lands a solid hit to the shoulder. Drawing his sword after the second knife left his hand he begins his attack. The blood sucking freak dropped Yuki when the knife struck him so he was ready to defend himself before Aeden arrived. Being totally reckless, driven by anger and adrenalin he swings his sword with so much speed that you can hear it cutting through the air. unfortunately the vampire is faster than he is and doges out of the way, causing Aeden to stumble and almost fall over. Quickly recovering from his stumble he brings his sword around for another blow, putting all his weight into the swing. The vampire blocks the blow but gets knocked back a bit, and Aeden almost lost hold of his sword because of the sudden stop. He continues to attack in this relentless manner for a few minuets, but cant keep up the fast pace for long, and soon finds that his stamina is starting to fail him. 'Cant go on like this much longer. cant this prick just die'
*Yuki watches aeden ash he fight with the lead vampire, vision bleary, barely consious, and unable to moveshe lays there helplessly blood dripping out of her neck. suddently she finds the strength to grab her bow and then pulls a arrow from her quive slowly sitting up she pulls the arrow back on the string> aiming for the heart of the leaad vampire she lets the arrow fly. the arrow would hit the vampire eye.the vampire screaming in pain leaves himself open. her vision fades and she loses consiousness*
It was like time was in slow motion as the arrow flew past him and right into the vampires eye giving him the opening he needed. With a quick thrust He shoved his sword into the damn things chest pushed until the hilt presses against its chest. Aeden leans close to the vampires ear and whispers one word. "Die." He pulls his sword free as the creature drops dead at his feet. Aeden lets lose a loud roar of victory. Some of the vampires took notice of their leaders defeat and fled. A few stayed to finish the fight, killing some of the villagers but in the end falling as their leader did. Aeden was by Yuki's side trying his best to tend to her wounds but able to do nothing. "DAMNIT, SOMEBODY HELP! SHES DIEING!"
*a villager runs up to help* "we must stop the bleeding* tearing a patch of cloth from his shirt tied it around Yuki's neck* " now hold pressure on the wound while i get other to help carry her inside her home" * he said as he ran off yelling for help. many were wounded and some homes were in flames but altogether the battle had been a victory. others had been helping the other wounded and draging the bodies of the fallen into a pile. others drag the bodies of the fallen vampires into a seperate piel and burned them*
"Dont you worry, we're gonna get you out of this alive. If you die I'm going to have to find you in the next life and kill you myself to make up for this. You still have your end of the deal to hold up, damnit. Dont you die on me." It took some time for her to recover, but after a few days she was starting to better. Once or twice Yuki awoke but fell back to sleep. Finally on the evening of the second night of being taken care of she begins to move a little. 'Maybe she will stay with us this time, one can only hope'
