The Red-Ringed Umbreon Part 1

He looks into the minds of his subjects: I tremor. There is someone out there that needs to be taught to respect his creations. "Robert, get back here!" I walk into my room and slam the door, locking myself inside. I throw myself on my bed and stare at my ceiling. 'What was that Robert? You know better than that,' I jolt up looking around. That was weird, it felt like someone else was here, 'That's because I am.' I fall out of my bed, turning to the wall by my bed; a white horse-like creature comes out of it. It was Arceus, "What are-" 'A better question,' He cuts me off mid-sentence, 'Is why are you here...' I stare puzzled for a little bit, 'what was that back there?' the god of Pokémon asks sympathetically. "You asking about the-" 'Yes.' "I didn't think you'd get mad about it." "It doesn't matter! What you did needs to be punished!" tentacles shoot out from his back, grabbing my limbs. I get lifted into the air next to him. Another one touches me on the forehead. A flash of light fills my mind. I tumble to the ground, looking at the deity Pokémon, "I hope you learn, humans are the most fragile Pokémon." I blackout. * * *

- * * "Ti eínai aftó," I hear someone through the darkness of semi-consciousness. "Nomízo óti eínai akóma éna Eevee," I recognize that name, Eevee, the evolution Pokémon. "Den tha boroúse," The first was talking again. I start to receive a little bit of my vision. I think I can understand the language a little, "Look Fysi, I think he's waking up." Still a little blurry, I reach for the voice, "Where am I?" A hand clamps my mouth; it didn't feel like a regular hand, "Not so loud, Ilíthie!" I was being dragged somewhere that was cooler, and darker. A felt rocks beneath me. I stop on top of a bed of moss. The blur goes away, I look at my rescuers, and it was a Treecko and Charmander, rather large ones too. Then I realized something; we had talked to each other. They weren't big, I was just...just. I look at my hand, it was furred. I get up on my feet, uh, paws. I stumble over to a pool of water, and cautiously look in. Staring back at me was an Eevee. I'M AN EEVEE! I start to look around franticly, finding some way to explain what happened. Then, WHACK! * * *

- * * I recover from a returning blackness, "Ow..." I rub my head. "Well," the Treecko says over a fire, "That's what happens when you freak out and smash your head into the cave wall" I get to my paws, it feels so weird to be walking on all fours. I smell something cooking over the fire, it was berries. I couldn't tell by color, clearly, but it was 3 parts sour, 4 parts sweet, and 1 part bitter. "Smells good, doesn't it," The Charmander says behind me, which I realized now was a female. "Uh, sure. I guess it does," When the berries were done, I sat across the fire from them and ate happily, "I'm sorry, but I never caught your names..." The Treecko stops for a moment, "Oh, sorry. I'm Fysi, and this is Fotia. I guess we're traveling companions." "For now..." Fotia keeps eating, "Well that's until we find the TR-RU." "Uh, what's TR-RU?" Fysi chokes on his food a little, "You Don't Know?" he asks questioningly, "TR-RU isn't a thing. HE's supposed to be a Dark/Dragon type that could rival the legendaries themselves!" "Where did you hear this?" I lean forward intently. "No one knows who said it first. But two years ago, the rumor spread like a wildfire," Fotia giggles on "wildfire." "We have been searching for 7 months now, separately mind you, but we found nothing. Then two weeks ago, we found each other. And now we found you...uh..." Fysi tries to think of my name...my name...WHOLY SHIT! I don't know my name! Think of something... "M...Mavros" "Oh, that's cool," Fysi says, "Anyway, when we found you, a Rhydon was chasing us, but then we found the grove outside. And in the middle of a laurel patch, we found you." "You looked like you were just sleeping," Fotia apologizes, "but with a Rhydon after us, we couldn't leave you there alone." "No, no! I'm okay with you helping me..." I trail off, and put the berries back over the fire to warm them up. }- - - - -{Later}- - - - -{ I shift in my moss-covered bed. I couldn't sleep in this strange, new body! I slink to my feet as I stretch my stubby brown legs. I go to reach for my glasses...right, I'm a Pokémon; I don't need glasses in this body. Rubbing my eyes, I walk out of the cave looking for something. Then I see a crushed bush, "Laurels..." I looked through the bush, again, trying to find something. Then, a glistening red; a ribbon, a badge, a...paper? Trying to pick up the paper (DAMN YOU NON-THUMBS), I grip it in my teeth. It was a crimson napkin, black, spidery writing was scrawled on it. The words were weird and complicated, and the handwriting didn't help. "(A dark) drákon (can be) vréthikan (if one) échei tin exousía. Aftón pou chreiázontai ánesi (shall be) Anagenniménos," I stare at the words, trying to translate the writing the author meant, "A Dragon of Darkness can be found if one seeks power. Those who seek comfort shall be reborn," "Reborn..." I read again, "What could that mean?" I shake my head, covering dirt over the red napkin, "I doesn't matter. I just need some sleep..." }- - - - -{Sunrise}- - - - -{ I rise to the smell of something both sweet and sour, and something else. I get to my paws and I hear, "I found some Caterpies!" Fotia was holding three speared worms and she places them in the fire. We ate a little, and then Fysi says, through a mouthful of Bug Pokémon, "The Rhydon is...obviously long gone," He swallows, "I think we should leave soon." We both nod at him, "In a couple of minutes" And we sit there in the cave for a while, waiting for the noon sun. }- - - - -{ }- - - - -{ }- - - - -{ }- - - - -{ }- - - - -{ Yes, I'm Back, And this is just something I wrote about my character.
