Jake:

Age: 18

Race: Hybrid

Abilities: I'm not telling....

Appearance: 6'10" tall, black wolf ears, red markings up and down his body, bandages wrapped around both ears, muscular build, a black fox tail with a white tip and red markings, a small scar over his heart, and eyes that change color.

Equipment: A specially modified sword that only reacts to his genetic signature, a pair of nardachi's stolen from Arzosah and Nevyn, a bow made of rowan wood, and lots of hidden weapons.

Bio: Jake's the youngest son of two of Genetech's top researchers. He's the former top member of the alpha project, and has recently started becoming more feral. However he has recently started hearing a second voice in his head that is more evil and twisted than his feral side could ever hope to be. He's recently found out that things such as magic may be real, and it's thrown his world back into the chaos he just pulled himself out of after finding out he impregnated every female he's slept with so far. He was shot through the heart and pronounced legally dead during chapter 11. No one, other than the author aka me, knows what side effects dying could have had.

Dasher:

Age:18

Race:Cheetah Anthro

Sex:currently female, but born male

Sexuality: Bisexual

Abilities: Dasher has the ability to change his gender, species, and appearance at will. However this is helped by a device modified to his genetic code, so she formerly he, believes she can't change.

Appearance:That of a cheetah standing on hit's hind legs with human looking hands. He wears black leather clothing all the time, except for shoes, and has a tiger eye earing in his left ear that allows him to mess with his own DNA. Dasher's about six feet tall and his eyes show the kindness his attitude can sometimes hide. His hat hides his ears so almost no one knows about the earring other than those who live in the house with him.

Equipment:Australian hat, black leather vest, black leather shorts, special gloves, his earring, and a pair of .50 caliber dessert eagles.

Bio: Dasher was a guy throughout the beginning of the series when he first appeared, however while female he and Jake mated, and he, who was now a she, became impregnated. She is one of the three girls that basically runs everything around Jake. Dasher is a former member of the alpha project but very few know this. Because of the Alpha project Dasher is officially one of the most wanted people in the county. Dasher also has other things in her past that few people know about.

Thowan:

Age: 16

Race: Wolf Anthro

Sex: Male

Sexuality: Bisexual

Abilities: none that are currently known.

Appearance: Thowan's a white wolf with light blue fur on his legs up to midthigh, the upper half of his tail, and the upper half of his muzzel. He's about 5'11 and doesn't look all that well built.

Equipment: unknown as of yet.

Bio:Thowan hasn't played a big part in the story other than at the start where he introduced Rodrik's gang and Jake's attitude. However he has his own secrets that will come to fruition as time goes on.

Ayrean:

Age: 17

Race: Arctic Red Fox hybrid

Sex: Female

Sexuality: bisexual

Abilities: Druidic magic, and more.

Appearance: Her entire body is covered in white fur, it surrounds her labia after turning to an almost bleach white on the stomach down to a point at her groin, what little black fur is tinted by red just so you can tell it's not pure white, but it generally looks white. Her face is more human with pronounced canine, and like most hybrids her ears are on top of her head. Her hair, which is naturally bone white, is dyed a deep red, and her right hand is slowly turning from white to red.

Bio:Ayrean is a normally very quiet person who has become Jake's lab parnter in first period and seems to know a lot about coding. She was one of the first to see Shandi, Dwayne, Nevyn, and Arzosah. Most of the characters don't know very much about her because she hasn't been that outspoken, but Jake and a few others plan to try and change that by making her feel more comfortable.

Mac:

Age: 18

Race: White Tiger Anthro

Sex: Male

Sexuality: bisexual

Abilities: Able to make any equipment he touch go up in flames such as his scimitars or shots from his sniper rifle.

Appearance:White tiger fur with moderate muscle tone. He usually is seen wearing a t shirt and jeans. However where as most people hide their weapons he wears them openly.

Heritage: Mac's parents are a white tiger fur and a human. His parents work for genetech and sometimes call him flame because of his attention to fire.

Equipment: a pair of scimitars and a sniper rifle

Bio: One of the five members of project beta, Mac is what those who worked on beta call the hothead. His abilities are unknown to any except his fellow project members and the scientists. He first started out as Jake's enemy on the threat of being disowned by his family, however after losing a second time Jake put him up in a hotel that he recently aquired the deed to. Mac's generally a kind and caring guy to a point, but for some reason he and Jake clash on just about everything.

Shandi Dracul:

Age: appears 18 but is much older

Race: Winged Snow-Leopard Anthro

Sex: Female

Sexuality: Bisexual

Abilities: currently unkown other than able to perform magic.

Appearance: White fur and wings with deep black spots. She's 6'2, has long head fur that goes down to her tail base and is as spoted as the rest of her. She has long legs that are lean and muscular, a long muscular tail, and the build of a dancer. She also has saphire blue eys.

Equipment: other than her whip unknown

Bio: Shandi is afraid of her twin brother Shanden, and has been trying to hide from him for centuries if not millenia. She is proof that Anthro's existed before Genetech, but Genetech doesn't know of her secret. Shandi decided to help Jake when he last fought Mac and his allies. She was the last person to defeat Mac, and has since been talking to Jake about the gods and a request they wish him to do in exchange for answers he seeks. Shandi is a paladin of the god unisus who is neither good nor evil.

Dwayne:

Age: 21

Race:Velociraptor and Ancient Crocodile mix

Sex: female

Sexuality: bisexual

Abilities: Able to shift into a feral version of herself, any other abilites are currently unkown.

Appearance: 8' tall, looks like a cross between a velociraptor, and a crocodile that are standing on their hind legs. Has a black underbelly, with gold and blue mixed spots.

Equipment: unknown

Bio: Dwayne was raised by a drug cartel until she was eighteen when she left Mexico and came to the US. She seems to find Agro interesting, but also seems to like Jake, and currently considers Shandi one of her greatest friends.

Nevyn:

Age: 19

Race: Dragon Anthro

Sex: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Abilities:unkown

Appearance:That of a pure black dragon anthro who stands about 7' tall, and has a lean yet somewhat muscular build. Expressionless face that has showed emotion only around his sister, and a few others, mainly his victims, have seen.

Equipment: the tools of the assassin

Bio: Nevyn and Arzosah were orphaned at a young age. After their parents died, they were taken in by a band of assassins and were taught there skills. After turning 16 the two left and started their own freelance assassination company. Nevyn has grown to respect Jake to a point, since he shot him through the chest and he got back up. He lost most ability to express himself when his father died, however his sister understands him well. He could be a great asset to Jake and friends if they pay him and his sister enough, or truly earn his trust, friendship, and respect.

Arzosah:

Age: 19

Race: Half Dragon

Sex: Female

Sexuality: straight

Abilities: unknown

Appearance: That of a young woman with pure white dragon wings, and light blonde hair that seems to reflect the light. She's normally seen with a smile on her face but a lot is hidden by her eyes. She's about an inch shorter than her brother, and has a curvacious figure that she uses to her advantage when going in for the kill.

Equipment: Tools of the assassin

Bio: Most of Arzosah's bio is like that of her brother, however she finds it easier to trust people than him, and seems to have started developing a slight crush on Jake. However if he offers her brother any harm she'll kill him in a heartbeat. She's completely loyal to her twin, and will kill anyone who tries to attack him for no reason. She's slightly kinder than her brother however this just means she makes the kills that much quicker.

Agro:

Age: 17

Race:Feral Dragon Hybrid

Sex:Male

Sexuality:Bicurious

Abilities:unknown

Appearance:Agro is a dragon hybrid who looks almost completely human. His eyes are more draconic than anything else. His body is slightly more muscled than a human can be without taking steroids, but anyone who looks at him can see he's not an average human. His hair is short and goes from red to white without their being any connecting point. He has wings like most dragons, however they are always folded under his clothing.

Heritage: Unlike most anthro's Agro's mother was a feral and his father was a human. This is why where most were born into the world as an anthro, human, or hybrid, he was born as a full feral dragon.

Equipment:A pair of dragon scale shortswords, his pet snake Shadow.

Bio: Agro hasn't made much of an appearance so far, but the few times he has appeared he's shown himself to be loyal to his friends including Mac and Tibu. Not a lot is currently known about Agro because he hasn't showed up in the story much, and almost nothing is known about his pet snake Shadow.

Tibu:

Age: 19

Race:Leopard and Wolf anthro hybrid

Sex: Male

Sexuality: bisexual

Abilities: unknown

Appearance:Tibu's a leopad/ wolf anthro hybrid who's about 1.9 meters tall, has a slightly bushy tail because of his wolf heritage, his fur is the usual orange that most people associate with leopards, his eyes are greyish blue, the fur around his eyes, nose, lower muzzle, and upper abdominals is a light azule, his hair and the fur on his hands and feet are slightly darker than the rest of his fur. His spots are azure rather than black like normal leopards. The underside of his tail is also Azure and the spots on it fade to navy blue. TIbu usually wears jeans that are black or blue, a a casio watch with a blue band on his right arm, a hakuna mattata baseball cap, blue framed sunglasses, and black t shirts.

Bio: TIbu's an easy to get along with guy, and most of Jake's friends talk to him like he's one of the group. He was first seen with Mac, however since Jake interfered in a fight that he and Mac were surrounded in, he's willling to trust him more. Tibu and Thowan seem to know each other better than most of those in the group know about either of them.

Steve Brightflame:

Age: 18

Race: Dire Wolf Anthro

Bio: Steve's another member of the Beta project. To be exact of the seven members he and Mac are the only known members currently. Both were top priority projects, however Steve's nature caused the project's scientist's to distrust his results. Steve first met Jake after the fight he intervened in and thanked him for helping his friends. Steve's one of the few people who doesn't care about genetech or anything else except making sure his friends survive all of this.

Reina:

Race: Fennec Vixen Anthro

Appearance:Reina's a tall fennec fox with large size D cup breasts, and an athletic build. She's about five foot nine, and has Black and silver fur that changes to white around the ede of her muzzle, her legs, and her arms from about midway down her lower arm to her fingetips. Her tail's tip is silver and her hair is midback length. Her eyes show her kindness and are a deep forest green.

Appearance:Sam's a black wolf anthro with a beautiful coat that has blue ripples like waves on her arms and legs. Her tail has a light blue ripple all along it, and her hair is blonde like her mother's. Her eyes are golden and shine with an inner light. Up until recently she had a masculine figure. However now she has large DD breasts and an hourglass shape like her mother. Sam's body has a few scars that just show through her fur, but to many they make her look exotic.

Hints: Book 1 or a not so average highschool life ends with chapter 20, I've yet to pick out a new title for book 2 but the moment I have it I'll place it here. The memebrs of project Beta went through something different than project Alpha and there are two projects left. Some characters will be changed into another group as the series, and magic is starting to play a role. Our hero has things in his past that have yet to be revealed, and as the story progresses more of each character's past will be revealed. After Chapter 20 the series will be moving from Arizona. FInal hint: At the end of chapter 20 I may ask readers for something special.

Groups and their Explanations:

Gene Alpha: Primary members who worked on the Alpha project including Jake's parents. They only seek to make the world a better place.

Gene X: A group that stole the alpha research and created the beta project. This group is mostly unknown, where as Gene Alpha is well known yet regular scientists.

Genetech: The organization that runs gene high and quite possibly rules the world.

Jake's family and friends: The protagonists of the story. These are the people who live with Jake, care about him, or just owe him because he's showed them some sort of kindnes. Some of them only occasionally appear, but the rest appear regularly
