It happened when vex became of age where his father wanted him to run the ashimora organization but he thought his son could use the help from a maiden, his father met with a man name hut who had a mafia from the West of them as they were from the South ,he was then told that hut had a daughter of age name cherry and would be looking for a husband to marry so vex father had a long chat with him and thought their kids should meet. 2 years later vex's dad made a deal with the ice kingdom from the north, a man name Toshino the king of the ice kingdom, he too had a daughter but never said anything because the dad was very protective of his little girl.

One day vex was out with cherry shopping, as cherry was looking around the shops vex was spacing out not really into shopping, he wanted to go have fun and even though cherry said they will go to the arcade she wanted to go shopping first.

"Hey cherry, want to go somewhere else?"

Vex asked

"Sure, what do you have in mind?"

Cherry asked looking to vex, a minute later the two of them was at the arcade having fun after a while cherry left to use the restroom as vex went to go find another game to play until he bumped into someone

"I'm sorry I didn't..."

Vex's stopped as his eyes met lavender eyes, it was a girl around his age she had tan skin, long purple hair pulled into pigtails wearing black on black outfit

"Sorry"

She said with a smile and walked away from vex leaving a sent of Strawberries behind, vex was lost in la-la land until he lost her in the crowd, he looked down and saw a snowflake keychain , he picked it up and looked at it a bit before he went to go look for the girl but ending up running into cherry

"Vex, where have you been?"

Cherry asked as vex sigh and looked around for the girl he ran into

" Hello, vex do you hear me?"

Cherry asked trying to get his attention but then vex saw the girl exiting the arcade making him go after her and ignoring the calls from cherry. Vex pushed past a lot of people once he got outside it was too late he saw the girl get in a black car that drove off.

" Fuck!"

Vex cursed under his breath as then heard his name being called again by cherry. Cherry went home as for vex did the same stilling with the snowflake in hand wondering who the girl was. Vex went to his room and sat on his bed as he closed his eyes remembering the sent of Strawberries until a knock came to the door

"Come in"

Vex said as his mom walked in

" Vex, cherry is on the phone and wants to know if you'll like to join her in the greenhouse garden tomorrow?"

" Uh no thanks "

Vex said as he sigh when his mom told cherry that he would go with her tomorrow, vex wasn't pleased that he had to spend so much time with cherry, he didn't hate her it's just she wasn't so much fun as he tried to make her seem to be. By the next day, vex was forced out of bed from his dad and was forced to go

Once at the greenhouse vex was so bored and getting way to hot from listening to a boring woman talking about plants. Just as he followed the group around looking at the different Planet he saw the girl again but this time she had on a white on white shorts and a tank top with a sun hat. He could feel his heart beat just from the sight of her

"Vex what are you looking at?"

Cherry asked as she was trying to see what he was looking at

" Um, nothing just the...roses"

He said as he looked to see the girl looking at the white roses.

"I'll be right back "

Vex said as he made his way to the girl who didn't see vex walk over to her until he tapped on her shoulder making her tun to him

" Excuse me, but um I...think you dropped this"

Vex said holding out the keychain, the girl smiled and took it out of his hand

" Thank you, it's my good luck charm but now I think it's yours"

She said giving it back to him, vex looked to the girl and smiled

" Thank you ...uh"

" My name is tsume, tsume sakamea"

" Tsume...it's nice to meet you I'm vexed ashimora "

Vex said as she smiled, vex spent a little time with tsume looking at the different flowers and plants

" It's beautiful isn't it?"

Tsume asked

" Yeah I guess "

" You must be bored of being here"

" What no, I mean...it is a little boring but I don't mind "

Vex said as she giggled

"You're so lucky that you get to be surrounded by these types of flowers every year, and not only that you can also be in the Sun"

Tsume said as vex looked at her confused

" Why do you say that?"

He asked

" Oh, it's nothing important, it's just that I don't get to go out as much"

Tsume said looking away from him and sigh as she started to walk away

" Hold on, where are you going?"

Vex asked as tsume stopped and turn to him

"Sorry but I have to go"

"Go, go where?"

" Home, I can't stay here to long before..."

Tsume started but was cut off when vex heard Cherry's voice, vex turn to see cherry walking his way as he looked back to tsume who was gone.

" Vex, you left me"

Cherry said whining as vex sigh and apologize, once they left the greenhouse the only thing that made him happy was that he met the girl tsume but was sad that she left and wanted to know what she meant by 'she couldn't stay here'

Tsume pov)

Tsume got home and was about to head to her room until she was caught by her dad

" Tsume, what did I tell you about leaving the house without an escort?"

"Sorry Dad, I just want to be alone "

"Well next time bring one of the servants with you"

"Sorry father, um I'm heading to my room"

She said with a bow and ran to her room, once there tsume sat at her computer desk and taped away on the flowers she remembers seeing today, she smiled to herself as she also remembers the boy vex, he was sweet but frown at the thought of her father if he saw her with him. There was knock at the door as the maid name Luna came in

" How was your outing miss?"

Luna asked as tsume told her everything

" I see, so did the boy catch your eye?"

" No, just like the sun is all"

Tsume said as she looked to Luna

" Luna is vex the fire king's kid or something?"

"Yes, and he's also getting married soon"

Luna said as tsume was confused on this and Luna explained

"So his father and the king from the West are friends, so they made a deal that their kids will get to marry each other so they can run their organizations together. Seems like a very interesting trade to me"

Vex pov )

vex then went outside to think things over on if he should merry cherry or not , he felt like he didn't have a connection with her as he did with tsume, later he was in his room board to death until he's dad came into his room and told him that cherry will be having dinner with them tonight

"Dad, why does cherry, have to come over?"

"Because I want you two to get closer and work as a team"

His dad told him as vex sigh

"Dad I know you want me to like cherry but I can't-do it"

"What do you mean son?"

"Well...I mean I met a girl but I'm unsure if she's from here or not"

"You met someone else?"

His dad asked him surprised by this

"Yes, so maybe you could call the thing off with Cherry's dad "

"Sorry vex, I wish I could but knowing king hut his words are final, I wouldn't want to get in a fight or a war with him"

"I see ..."

Vex said as he sighs

"Don't worry son the first one is always the hardest"

His dad said as they sat the dinner table to eat. By the next day vex had a little day off from Cherry and she was doing some shopping with her mother preparing for the wedding, he was not too thrilled about it but what else could he do his dad couldn't call it off and he doesn't think he could do anything to stop it. Vex was walking around town looking through the game shops until his eyes caught a glimpse of tsume passing by the store he stopped what he was doing as he went after her

"Hey tsume"

Vex said coming over to her

"Hey"

"What are you doing here?"

"Just looking, board today"

"Really, if you want we could hang out"

vex said blushing a little as tsume smiled

"Sure why not"

tsume and vex walked around the park as vex could see that tsume was having a blast it was kinda surprising how happy she was when she got ice cream well...5 of them

"tsume I want to ask you something"

"Ok, but first can I ask you something?"

"what is it?"

"Is it true that you're getting married and that you are a fire element? "

"Yes, I am... But how did you.."

vex started but trailed off when tsume stood up

"I'm guessing that you don't really know who I am then"

"Who you are, what are you talking about?"

he asked as she sighs then shook her head

"Nevermind, im glad were friends vex you made my day but sadly I can't stay here"

"you keep saying that, dose that means you are an um..."

"yes, im an ice element"

"whoa, wait so you can't stay in the sun too long?"

"Actually, I can, but im kinda weak so my father doesn't let me out very much "

"why is that?"

"well he's a worried dad that thinks I can't handle thing on my own so I run away when I can"

she said with a giggle as a black car pulled up making vex see a butler come out of the car

"aw, fun time is over"

tsume said as vex looked to her than to the butler

"is he here for you?"

"yes, it seems daddy isn't too happy that I left during study time"

tsume said, vex took her by the wrist

"if you don't want to go home then let run"

"huh, are you serious?"

"yes, you and me are the same so let's run"

"...but mr Tanaka isn't one to play"

"who cares let's run away from our troubles, I won't stop running until im free. look i don't want to get married and you don't want to be locked away so..."

"ok! let's run"

tsume said as she looked to her butler

"goodbye mr Tanaka"

tsume said as she and vex ran off

Even though he didn't like the idea of her words she did make sense so vex had to do it even if it means not seeing her ever again he watched as Tsume left with her Butler along the way she gave him a ride back home but once back home he got a big lecture from his father a couple of days later it was time for the wedding, vex was dressed in a tuxedo that was crimson

"I'm so proud of you vex"

his mother said as a sad expression planted on his face

"Is everything alright? "

His mother asked him as he only sighs

"I don't want to marry her mom and I know I'm only doing this to prevent a war from happening but I don't care if it means not seeing her again then I guess I have no choice"

"Her, did you fall in love with someone else my son?"

"Yes but it doesn't matter now I won't be able to see Tsume ever again"

"Tsume? Wait are you telling me you met..."

His mother started but was cut off as the door opened and his father walked in, everything was prepared as now vex walked into the church waiting for his bride to show up as the music of Here Comes the Bride started to play. The doors opened as Cherry walked out in a beautiful Crimson wedding dress

Vex looked around and saw his family along with her family there in the chairs crying their eyes out, once Cherry finally made it to his side she gave a big smile as he already knew that this was something she really wanted but this was something he didn't want... He just wishes that he could see Tsume one last time before he had to do this

"If anyone doesn't wish for these two to get married then please speak now or forever hold your peace"

Said the man as he took out a silk robe and had their hands wrapped in it as he placed his hand on top of theirs

"I will like to Rejoice on this day in order for you to continue I want you both to be purified by the angel of ice"

The man said as vex was confused by the name and who was this angel that he speaks of and there before him that entered in the back was a girl, dressed in some type of white and red Japanese Shrine Maiden as her hair was pulled back into a ponytail, he didn't realize that it was Tsume

"Oh maiden of ice do you wish Good Will on these two lovers, please grant them your blessing and Fortune for years to come"

The man said as tsume looked to vex and was surprised to see him but her expression then changed

"I have a question actually"

"Yes, Maiden?"

"I would like to ask the groom if this is what he wants"

She said as the room started to become tense

"Vex please tell me if this is what you want if it is I will allow you to marry her but if it isn't I will decline"

"What!"

Shouted vex's Father

"I...I uh"

Vex hesitated not wanting to speak and not to hear his father but when he looked to Tsume he felt content

"I don't want to marry her"

A gasp filled the church

"I'm not in love with you cherry I'm in love with Tsume"

He said as she glared at him in disgust, Not only was she upset her father was upset his father was upset as vex father started barking about something only for Tsume to silence them

"Well then I guess that is what you want then I approve"

"You can't do that!!"

Shouted Cherry's dad as he made his way over to Tsume as the preacher tried to stop him but got pushed away

"Please Maiden Grant my daughter and his son happiness for years to come"

"I do grant them happiness but I can't grant them happiness together only happiness when they're apart it is not my decision to force someone to marry into something that they're not satisfied with it will only bring Misfortune and unhappiness to them if you go any further"

She said as Cherry's dad was upset but knew that he couldn't fight with the angel of ice she was practically a goddess. So once It was finally decided vex mother allowed him not to marry Cherry he was allowed to marry anyone he please but the sad part to it was that he wasn't allowed to marry Tsume because of her position as a maiden and a goddess she has a high ranks that aren't allowed to be taken by anyone unless they are able to pass down their powers to someone else, On the good note vex was finally free and he was able to be the next Mafia leader his father trusted him with it and he was able to succeed as his life was complete
