Tearing through the two in moments before the female could react was a large golem who was in the shape of a million boulders, and near to or about a story.

Finding leverage on the side of a patch of grass, Fia held her paw to her heart and sighed heavily, staring across at the male.

"Are you okay!?"

Looking back at her with a grim expression, he shook his head.

"Don't worry about me so much-I'm not returning any favors."

This caused the girl to turn red, raising her fist to him before screaming as the golem aimed his arm in her direction, barely managing to jump out of his path.

"Hey now! At least help me, please? You can fight, can't you?" she shouted.

Once again, he bore across at her the look of a stone-hearted fiend. This was followed by the golem disintegrating into a million boulders, flying across the pathway by the gate, which lead to the girl looking around with confusion.

"W-What's going on...here....W-Whoa, watch out, No Name!" Fia yelled, pointing to the sky which was dark with what looked to be a numerous display of stone blocks-falling stone blocks.

His ears twitched at taking in another set of lungs yet again, jerking his fist in her direction before growling. Thus he took a step forward, through the female to the ground below him and raised his left arm while yanking away at the bandages with his right forepaw.

"Someone who's so useless deserves to be on the ground-now pay attention." he roared, tightening the pressure in his claws before howling,

"Vitualamen...Amnis Cruor!"

What followed came about as an aura of blue light descending around the barriers that were planted along the world's atmosphere, crashing through said barriers and vaporizing the rocks altogether with a flash of red.

Fia sat still, her eyes widening at the feat that that was occurring in front of her eyes.

"You...How coul-!!!" she gasped, raising to her feet to tighten her grip around his right arm.

"What's wrong with you!?"

Standing there with his arm out, his icy-blue hues glowed in the lavishness of the night sky. His arm stood out from his body and to the sky still, but it was covered in a thick layer of traced violet, reminiscent to the poison that struck the third member of their would-be party.

"This is..." he began, the female looking over at him from his shoulder.

"This is what happens when the poison inhabits a welcoming shell of a body...One who doesn't care what happens to his soul...Sacrifice!"

"S...Sacrifice..?" she muttered, taking a step back with her tail retreating to the ground.

"What are you!? What did you do!?"

Darting his eyes towards the direction of her shallow voice, he finally lowered his arm, which had become unusually clean, revealing a rather healthy left bicep.

"I did what I had to do-and I saved my own life" the boy smirked.

"Basically-I gave the moon back what it had created, for something that could keep me from going past the gate."

Swinging her fists forward, she growled.

"Quit acting like you're better than everyone else, huh!? Now let's go already!" she howled, pulling him into the gate by his right arm, all the way till it hit his left, and that was when she realized what he had been rambling about from all along.

"....You can't....pass..."

The male wolf shook his head, snickering to himself.

"Then that means..."

"EX? You have a brain after all, don't you wench?"
