A nice little piece about the perils of being a heroine! Remember kids, always use an incognito window to hide your tracks.

Character and story by me.

On the streets Tiger-Gal was a rising star. Her blazing fire powers and acrobatic fighting style made her an instant hit with the public, and the fact that she had collared some big name villains in her debut fights garnered her some significant clout among the heroes of the world.

But as a rookie heroine she really hadn't been as careful as she perhaps should have. Her mask and tight costume didn't leave much to the imagination, or hide much from facial recognition software. And taking out your competition when they're busy making breakfast is WAY easier.

Mallory tugged at the ropes securing her nude body to her own office chair. She wished she could at least see who it was doing this, or move enough to get a good fire blast started, but neither seemed possible. Her captor on the other hand was having a great time rifling through her purse. Pulling out an ID card he read off of it, "Mallory Gwynn, age 22. Motorcycle license. You certainly don't look like a hero in this picture. Or right now in general I guess." He chuckled at his own joke. Mallory didn't find it very funny.

"You really think you're going to get away with this? When I get out I will scorch you until-" her heroic rambling is cut short by her captor starting to roll her chair along. "Hey wait, where are you going?" Her voice was now betraying a bit of fear.

"Oh, just somewhere with a bit more light, a better view." The rolling stopped. "I mean, you can't see it, but your neighbors are loving the view through your window. Oh! A camera! Smile, Kitten!" There was obvious mirth in his tone, the distinct sound of a voice spoken through a wide smile.

And the happier he was, the more she HATED it. Kitten, she wasn't a kitten! She was a vicious cat! Fully grown and average height, not short like everyone said! The real problem though was how he was parading her around like this. He couldn't actually be doing that, could he? Her neighbors would never see her the same way again if he really was. But if it was true, with her whole body on display? Well, it wouldn't take a detective to figure out her secret identity then.

He seemed to read her mind. "Now I know you don't want these nice people knowing that their exhibitionist neighbor is actually a super-heroine. And they don't have to. But for that to happen I'll need you to be a very. Good. Kitten. Do you understand me?"

She didn't want to give him the satisfaction, to give in. But begrudgingly, hating every moment of it, she nodded.

"That's a good kitty. Now, chin up, we have a VERY long day ahead of us today."
