The Troubles of Tiki Island

An otter priestess in a set of attire that, while leaving nothing to the imagination, enhances her form and illuminates her assets in first rays of dawn. Musicians, mostly otters but the occasional rabbit, mouse and dog as well, play bongos, ocarinas and other instruments more commonly found in the Pacific Rim in our own world accompany the slow sensual dance the otter girl performs on the beach as tikis leer at her as they are posted everywhere. Crimson eyes of otherworldly hatred and rage flash at the priestess from the dark waters as more dancers join her.

More sets of angry eyes join the first pair before the monster octopi attack. Flaps of skin are naturally grafted between their arms as thorn like protrusions sprout from the creamy white underside that capture the priestess and her attendants in smothering fleshy cages as the octopi make their way back into the sea. Canine and feline warriors in the audience raise broadswords to attack the evil octopi but they are engaged by ghostly white shelled crabs of monstrous sides that arise from the sands to attack them.

Suddenly an arrow launches from the bushes to lodge itself in the devilfish's flesh right between the eyes. The shot is not a fatal one but the octopus is heavily wounded as another shot is placed in one of its tentacles. A final shot in the mouth of the great beast is the fatal arrow that pierces its brain to lay it to rest.

Warriors grab spears as an eight foot wolf-bear, that is an amphicyon whose body is much like that of a grizzly bear with the head and tail of a wolf, with a strange bow that features a complex string with pulleys, dressed in black chain with red leather at the joints as well serving as his boots and glove-gauntlets, walks out his fur as black as the midnight sky with a Mohawk the color of freshly spilled blood between his ears and eyes the color of a summer storm cloud. A scarlet octopus is emblazoned on his chest and back with twin swords hanging from his belt. He wears all the hallmarks of a pirate which Tiki island sees its fair share of but they are folks the authorities of the mainland want caught and held for them to collect or killed outright.

"Kodyax von Fenryx," the High Priestess says with a mocking tone of disapproval and a knowing smirk on her muzzle. "What are you doing here, you old pirate?"

"Just taking a much needed vacation, K'Lani," Kodyax responds. "And I'm officially a privateer now. The Kingdom of Sehtaysheeah is getting tired of dealing with the Krakatoa Empire, the Horde of the Hobgoblin Empire and the Clockwork Consortium among others. Many pirates like me have applied for and received Letters of Marque to take on the ships I usually take on and do it legally."

"Privateers are legal pirates?" A clouded leopardess in a hula skirt and gripping a spear asks incredulous.

"More or less," Kodyax replies. "I have had copies made of the Letter of Marque for ship and the minor holding I have here on Tiki Island. Just to make sure some overzealous magistrate from the mainland wants to try and shut me down as a pirate."

"Oh, you heard that Torquemada de Sade has set up shop on the island?" K'Lani asks with a smirk. "He just started holding court about a week ago."

"The Viscount de Sade is here?" Kodyax asks and shakes his head. "That's just what I need. That bull is determined to execute every pirate he can get under his hooves by any means necessary including and especially at times any bit of legal trickery he can invent."

Almost as if on cue a blue furred bull in the powdered wig and attire of a French nobleman resplendent in colors of purple and gold flanked by goat and ram musketeers in similar colors but looking like they might be extras for a furry rendition of the Three Musketeers walk onto the scene. The bull glares at the wolf-bear as the musketeers take aim. Kodyax crosses his arms and shakes his head.

"Tell your men to stand down, de Sade," Kodyax growls. "Or if they want to fight, draw swords and we'll duel as gentlemen."

"What gentlemen?" One of the two rams asks. "There is but one true gentleman here and that is the Viscount. Your, sir, are nothing but a lowly pirate."

"Privateer actually," Kodyax counters. "I have a copy of my letter of marque on me if his grace wishes to inspect it."

"You actually have a set of identification papers?" One of the goats asks incredulously.

"I would wish to inspect them," Torquemada states. "Stand down for now, men; I will entertain this farce for now."

"My papers, Viscount deSade," Kodyax says as he hands over a wooden case with papers secured within."

"It would seem our homeland recognizes your airship as potentially productive citizens," Viscount deSade says with dismay. "Captain Kodyax is a legitimate privateer. We have no legal jurisdiction to harass him. The native heathens..." It's just then that deSade that the natives have chosen to make themselves scarce as Kodyax was talking to him. "Damnit! I should take you in for obstruction of justice."

"But my status as a privateer captain makes me a peer of yours," Kodyax says with a smirk, "Whether you like it or not. I am making my way to my hacienda and will be there for the remainder of the week if you need me for anything, Viscount."

Kodyax von Fenryx whistles a merry pagan tune as he walks towards his fortified estate as the five government enforcers glare at him.

"It would be easy to plug him here and now, master," the other goat suggests.

"No, Benedict," Torquemada growls. "He is a ranger and shooting at him will only give him an excuse to shoot back. Even if we all fired at once the Devil favors scoundrels like him and we would miss. Pirates like him invest in mystic enhancements to their armor, often specifically to rebuff our guns. It's not really fair as it denies we, the righteous, of divinely granted advantage but such is life. Come, we must return to our Cathedral of Saint Tomas, there are heathens and heretics that need the sanctified lash of our righteous temperance administered to them as well as those witches needed the redemption of holy fire."

The Hacienda Pirata is linked to Tiki Island by a bamboo covered bridge high enough not to be swept away during high tide or during monsoon season but low enough not to be a target for the flying reptiles that call the island home. As for the hacienda itself; the fortress is built into a smoldering volcano that used to be called Skullcrusher Mountain. Kodyax and his airship crew use it as their home base in the area and has somewhat tamed it, using the energy of the volcano to help fuel their steam powered machinery.

Tiki totem poles flank the bridge and show pertinent information to any and all visitors to the area. This includes having a copy of their letter of marque on display in prominence, not to mention at a few key junctures like at the octagonal center of the bridge set up as an observation and fishing point, which has a huge trap door that will dump invaders into the sea. Trap doors of a similar type are set up throughout the bridge's length to act as a first line of defense and as a practical joke for when folks like deSade come for an inspection, which is just an excuse to harass the privateers as far as the crew is concerned.

The architecture of the bridge is Oriental in its style as are parts of the castle itself as among other beings, one of his crew is a Sumatran tigress and he let her influence the designs as he found much of the Oriental world she came from aesthetically pleasing to his eyes. A light rain begins to fall as Kodyax enters the bridge from the cliff face it is situated on and smiles at the natural pilings on which the bridge is situated that are now carved to resemble moais. Captain Kodyax marvels, not for the first time, at how beautiful this estate is with the carved wood and stone.

One of the goats in deSade's employ takes careful aim at Kodyax from atop the cliff that the wolf-bear had to climb down. Without warning, the pirate spins around and fires a heavy arrow from his bow that hits the militiaman right between the eyes as he is getting ready to fire. Pteranodons have a field day with the body which is picked clean by morning.

In the House of the Red Moon, what the crew of the Storm Cloud call their home on Tiki Island and for legal purposes Red Moon House is still considered part of Tiki Island, Kodyax relaxes in a comfy chair on an upper porch overlooking the sea to watch the sunset. The crew made daring raids on Krakatoa and Horde shipping, paid what needed to be paid as part of their agreement and the rest of the spoils were theirs to enjoy. Life as a privateer was good for business as Jingo, the Sumatran tigress approaches her captain wearing not a stitch of clothing but jeweled pins in her black hair and her nipples pierced with golden rings and a golden chain dangling between the rings.

.

"Welcome home, my Lord Captain," Jingo coos as she kneels before Kodyax and kisses his groin. "We had a visit from the inquisition while you were out."

"It was only a matter of time, Jingo, my dear," Kodyax says lovingly as most of the females on the crew make a kind of harem for the wolf-bear to have his fun with as he undoes his fly. "I hope they got a properly refreshing reception."

"It was a wonder how they managed to stay wet, they were so angry," Jingo says in between bouts of suckling on his scrotum. "They wanted an inspection and couldn't understand why we would only allow it with our weapons at the ready while we made them put their weapons in a locker. Really, the power they are accorded has gone to their heads."

"They have set themselves up as regulators," Kodyax explains between moans as Jingo gives him head, "And of course who is it that watches the watchmen? We regulate them whether they like it or not. We are pirates, it is our job to challenge, we rob, steal, pillage and rape because someone must play that role in the world."

"Just as you stole me from my home," Jingo says as she mounts her master, "I was a simple serving wench when you kidnapped me. When my old master refused to pay my ransom you turned me into the plaything I am today." She moans as she rides his shaft. "Now I may still be a slave, but my chain is a lot nicer and I am better treated than I was in my old life."

"And I am grateful for your service," Kodyax says between pleasurable moans as he guides her breasts to his muzzle.

A green furred vixen in a black leather harness with purple hair and orange eyes walks in on the scene nursing a folf puppy to her breasts and winks to the wolf-bear having his fun. Jingo gives Morgana a pleading look as if to ask that she not disturb this scene. Morgana just laughs and takes a seat.

"I'll take my turn eventually, Jingo," Morgana says confidently. "I have given Kody one son already, I do want a daughter from him but if I have to birth a few sons to get a daughter so be it."

"I would not mind having both sons and daughters with you, Morgana," Kodyax says honestly.

"And people wonder what I see in you," Morgana giggles as her fur changes to the normal orange of a red fox with black hair and eyes but with a black stripe where a normal vixen is white.

Jingo sighs and rides her master's pole since she and Sahara, a cheetah femme on the crew have found it difficult at best to get pregnant by the Captain no matter how hard they try. As far as anyone can tell, the Captain is the last of his kind as rumors of other amphicyon they have come across have just been that, rumor. The fact that is both a wolf and a bear makes it difficult for the cats and other species to conceive while Morgana who is a fox can bear him children readily.

As Kodyax's knot begins to form Pierre Pasteur, the crew's resident alchemist and for the most part a nice skunk, comes in and out to the patio where wolf-bear and tigress are fucking with a spyglass and a wagon of grenades. He's dressed as if just came out of his laboratory with the batch of bombs he is pulling after himself. Jingo and Kodyax pay him little heed or at least Jingo is more intent on her pleasure.

"Something wrong, Pierre?" Kodyax asks as he lets Jingo ride him as his knot inflates while he watches the skunk.

"I hope not, mon Capitan," Pierre responds nervously, "But I got a proximity alert from ze sensors I put up for security reasons." Then he actually notices what is going on and blushes. "Mine apologies, Capitan, I did not realize..."

"It's alright, Pierre," Morgana says with a giggle as she now burps her son while Kodyax howls in climax. "I figured he was almost done. I'm not ready to ride the Captain yet but I think I see a ship approaching the harbor."

"That's too far to set my alarms," Pierre states as he looks through his spyglass, "But that is a Horde vessel coming in. I wish I could get those vision crystals to work underwater, whatever is setting off those alarms is probably coming by sea."

"Go tell the Stooge brothers in the sea caves to mobilize immediately!" Kodyax orders with vigor. "We need eyes in the water and those otters are our best bet."

"Aye, aye, mon Capitan!" Pierre says as he salutes Kodyax then runs to obey the command.

"That was rather forceful of you, love," Morgana says as she nuzzles Kodyax. "I agree that we need to get sea scouts on patrol but..."

"What is it, Morgan?' Kodyax asks of her pause. "Do you sense something?"

"I'm not sure," Morgana answers honestly. "The feeling is faint but definitely there." Then she takes a crystal ball from the mouth of a tiki that functions as a support of the railing overlooking the cliff straight down to the water from where they are in the House. "Crystal of clarity of visions far and near reveal to me the scenery beneath the waves."

"I'll go mix some drinks," Jingo says as she backs away slowly. "What do you want?"

"Mix up some zombies," Kodyax orders as he knows Jingo is skittish when the witch Morgana is performing magic.

"We have visitors from the Nightmare Realms," Morgana reports: "Goblin shark shifters approaching; ten of them."

"Where are they headed?" Kodyax asks.

"All I can say is that they are definitely coming here, right now they are in shark form," Morgana states tentatively.

"It doesn't matter who they are acting for, it doesn't bode well for us." Kodyax states: "I signed that letter to attack both the Horde and the Krakatoa. deSade I have to tolerate as part of our agreement. These guys I can kill all day and not have to justify my actions." He looks at the goblin marauder with the spyglass. "Looks like they're going to hit the Cathedral. As much as it pains me to do so, we need to warn the bastards." He takes another crystal ball from another tiki support. "Captain Fenryx calling the Viscount deSade...Captain Fenryx calling Viscount deSade...come in, your grace."

"This better be good, Captain, I was preparing for bed," the Viscount growls.

"Fair warning, your grace," Kodyax reports: "I am watching a Horde Marauder headed your way."

"A Marauder?!" deSade asks incredulously. "They wouldn't dare! But still, it's better to be safe than sorry. Thank you, Captain...By the Maker! We're under attack! Hawkers!"

With that the connect dies. Hawkers are one of many specialty troops employed by the Horde. They are called that because of the distinct hawk helmet they wear and the enchanted gliders they fly that give the Horde air support and supremacy of the skies.

Due to their constant antagonism to the natives and especially their "Godless Heathen" religion the Inquisition on Tiki Island is in a near constant state of paranoid alert. However the majority of their defenses are geared toward an expected attack by land; not by sea and certainly not by air. Partisan bearing paladins are blown from the parapets by exploding bombs dropped from the powered gliders.

Not that the pirates would be inclined to aid the paladins much in any respect but they have their own problems to deal with as a flotilla of grey skinned sharks, each one with a natural spike protruding from their brows that almost like a short but natural spear, approach the island the estate is situated on. But there is one thing in the pirates favor and that is the fact they know the grizzly minded humanoid murderers are coming, a fact that the shark shifters themselves are ignorant of. They think they are going to take the furry pirates by surprise when the crew of the Storm Cloud are themselves preparing an ambush of their would be slaughterers.

Kodyax dons a bondage harness including a collar that allows him to breath underwater and grabs a trident before diving into the water the join the four otters. Moses Zechariah Stooge is surprised to see his captain join him and his brothers for a routine patrol which tells him this probably no ordinary patrol. Lawrence Alfred Stooge notices the trident is enchanted with goblin bane runes and points this out to his brothers.

Shempatrick Duncan Stooge acknowledges the runes and falls in line behind the Captain. Karl Edwards Stooge does the same along with his brothers Moe, Larry and Shemp they form a "V" formation as they approach the ten weird sharks coming at them. All of a sudden the special training their boss gave them kicks in as they recognize the goblin shark shifters for what they really are.

Thinking they have the advantage of numbers the sharks transform into rapier wielding goblins with the same grey skin they had as sharks and swim in to attack. Each goblin is roughly the same size as an average human so four of them swim to flank Kodyax with the remaining six doing their best to herd the four otters in such a way that they can flank them as a group. All five smirk as it amuses them that the goblins think they will go down so easily.

One goblin shark shifter becomes Kody's target as he sidesteps the other three while the chosen gets skewered on the tines of the trident and promptly dies there. Upon seeing the result of the wolf-bear's charge two more goblins leave the circle around the otters and join the fight against Kodyax. Spears versus rapiers are hardly a fair fight as the otters fully show as they harpoon their opponents and then draw knives to finish the slaughter.

Five on five are too equal a number for the goblins who start to disengage from their opponents by transforming back in goblin sharks. Unfortunately this is easily conceived mentally than it is to execute physically. Kodyax has a weapon he has kept in reserve that he uses now in a nice big net that he casts on the transforming goblins.

As sharks they could easily the net attack but the process of transforming from goblin to shark retards their reaction time. All five goblin shark shifters are caught in Kodyax's net and from there carnage ensues as the five of them slaughter their would-be murderers. The otters take the dead sharks to the kitchens for preparation as meals for the crew as Kodyax accesses a chest on the sea floor and removes a set of four black ceramic discs etched with explosive runes.

It pains Kodyax to think he will be actually aiding the Inquisition but he has the details of his letter of marque to think of. After affixing the disc to key places on the goblin marauder, Kodyax swims away as fast as he can. War canoes are dropped into the water as soon as the charges blow, the Horde's navy are not stupid, they know when they've been beat and are not fanatical enough to carry on the fight although the Captain does vow vengeance on whomever did this.

Once the goblins abandon their sinking ship the pirates are free to claim anything left aboard as salvage. Pierre's sister, Barbarella joins the salvage efforts as does Sahara although neither of them is looking for baubles. Being a cheetah, Sahara actually swims faster than Barbarella and catches up with the captain before the skunk does.

Pierre is with his sister on the salvage operation but when they get to the sunken ship, the captain is already inside. Sahara is inside with Kodyax, with her hand on his dick. Due to the environment they are in now, Sahara couldn't give Kodyax a blow job if she wanted to even if she swam out wearing only a similar harness that the captain is wearing that grants her the ability to breathe underwater as long as she doesn't open her mouth.

Kodyax is also frustrated as he can only fondle Sahara's breasts as she massages his scrotum to entice his member out to play. Sahara whimpers as she enjoys her captain's hands on her rack and rubs her ass on his groin as further enticement. The frigid cold of the water doesn't help matters either.

Sahara is actually determined to have her captain right here and now as she manages to coax him into full hardness. In the cargo hold Kodyax pins Sahara to the ceiling and starts to fuck her. Pierre is more interested in the cargo than anything else while Barbarella licks her muzzle and swims up to the cannon deck while using her backside to give the Captain an open invitation.

Kodyax pounds the pussy offered to him with great passion and vigor with his hands fondling her breasts as he takes his time sliding his sausage in and almost out of her basket. Pierre notices the debris and sees the captain getting knotty with Sahara. When he finishes with her, Sahara is more than a little bit dazed as Pierre takes his turn as the captain goes looking for Barbarella.

It takes him the better part of an hour to actually find the lady skunk completely nude and rubbing her slit up and down a cannon as a means of masturbation. Kodyax internally chuckles before bending her over the cannon she was treating as a giant iron phallus and sticks his own prick into sexual quarters while massaging her rack, much to her delight. Barbarella is treated a little more roughly than usual as Kodyax counts how many cannons are here.

For the next week or so the pirates are busy taking everything worth taking from the goblin ship. During this time the Viscount assesses the haul for the Kingdom of Sehtaysheeah and takes the shares designated as the Kingdom's before even the Captain gets his share of the plunder. deSade tries to take more than what is outlined in the letter as just compensation for his personal services but, von Fenryx reminds him rather forcefully that by scuttling the marauder he save the bull's rear from a proper shellacking and if the Viscount tried to take more than his fair share, Kodyax knew a few people in the Kingdom that would spread news that the Inquisition had been caught with their pants down to cause a huge scandal which of course would hamper further dealings with his superiors.

Pride and station are two weapons in a pirate's arsenal when dealing with the nobility since any scandal will hurt them socially a lot more than any pirate will ever have to deal with as, being pirates, they are expected to behave badly. Pirates have no use for the niceties of civilized society. In fact within piratical circles dealing with nobility how Kody just dealt with the Viscount is a major coup and the fact that he has gone legit makes him no less a scoundrel in the Black Flag Society of Piracy it only means that he has a better opportunity to screw over those who would call them to dance the hempen jig.

Of course, not all the loot recovered was "properly" marked for inclusion in the final tally. Kodyax maybe a privateer but that doesn't make him any less a scallywag then when he was a normal pirate captain. It just means he and his crew have a need for greater stealth and subterfuge when dealing with the authorities about their takings for what the Viscount doesn't know was recovered will not fall into his personal coffers.

A formal complaint is lodged against Captain Kodyax but is ruled groundless by the high court of the Kingdom of Sehtaysheeah and while the Viscount tries to get the ruling appealed his chances of redressing any wrongs get slimmer and slimmer as word of what happened and how the marauder was close to decimating the Viscount's holdings if not for the heroic efforts of the privateers gets leaked which gives him no end of grief as the incident is a mark of incompetence on his record. While the Viscount cannot prove from whence the stories came he has a pretty good guess and takes note that Captain Kodyax is not one to hold onto his cards until they are too late but has an inkling on how to use blackmail effectively. Thus the Viscount has reason to want to see Kodyax's letter revoked so he can be processed as a proper pirate as legally Kodyax is safe from the tender mercies of the Inquisition as long as the Letter of Marque from the Kingdom of Sehtaysheeah is valid.

Kodyax knows this is only the first salvo between them and Torquemada will be looking for a means to even the score between them. When he was still a pirate the answer would be simple enough: drop enough bombs on his Cathedral to reduce it to rubble and make sure the Viscount died along with his hacienda. But a similar set of rules of engagement now exist for him as well, which means blowing up the fortress of his enemy is simply not done, but if his grace where to fall sufficiently out of favor with the Kingdom of Sehtaysheeah then things can get...interesting.
