#11 of Showers

Jake smiled, and complied. Right now, there was no place he'd rather be than planted deep inside his hot little fox. Swaying gently, Jake gently massaged Kip's thighs and belly with his strong hands while Kip lay in a half-stupor, wanting to prolong the afterglow as long as possible.

But after a few minutes, nature had it's way. Jake's shrinking member pulled out of Kip, and after laying a towel on top of the fox's soggy fur, he lay down on top of him, giving his neck a good nuzzle on the way down. "That was amazing, Babe."

"Oh, don't I know it..." came the soft reply. "You sure that was your first time?"

Jake grinned and softly kissed him again.

The next day, Kip was feeling good enough to do some light lifting. "If I feel good enough to fuck a man's brains out, I feel good enough to push some weight," he reasoned

"If you say so, sport," Jake said, more than a little turned on by his partner's desire to get back to the gym. He hugged Kip, and his hands roamed around to the fox's tight rump, made firm by countless squats over the past few years. Giving his butt a soft squeeze, Jake kissed Kip in a way that let the other man know he was willing and able to perform, should his services be required.

Kip laughed in the middle of Jake's kiss, "You horndog!"

"Yes, I'm horny." Kiss. "Yes, I'm a dog." Kiss. "And I've gone twenty seven years without sex, so you can forgive me." Kiss.

"Mmm... Yes, I can forgive you." Kip said, and the devil on his left shoulder told him that it would indeed be a fantastic idea to jump right back into the sack with this huge, warm, wonderful man who had captured his heart. But the angel on his right shoulder won out, and he reluctantly pushed Jake away, favoring him with a smile. "We've spent all day long watching movies and playing on the computer. It's been three days since either of us have lifted, and we really need to get back there. Besides," he added, "if we don't show up soon, the guys are going to burn up my telephone!"

That morning Jake had gotten tired of fielding questions about the fox's well being, and had just given the guys Kip's phone number. Ever since, it had been buzzing off the wall with their rapid-fire text messages. Kip did his best to keep up, but there were six of them and only one of him, and damn it, his fingers were wearing out! And it really was time to pick up his car. It had been sitting in the parking lot of the gym for too long while he and Jake"recuperated".

"Okay," Jake conceded. His legs were still sore from his last workout, but his back and arms could use a little attention. Truth be told, he was starting to miss seeing his friends, too. He'd seen at least a few of them every day for ten years or more. They vacationed together, they worked out, they studied, and they celebrated together, and going 24 hours without seeing at least one of them was rare. Going 48 hours was nearly unheard of. Jake was a little ashamed that he'd kept his best friends at arms length for the past two days.

He didn't know exactly why, but the guys had all banded together and put Kip under their collective wing. They had all wanted to come over and check up on Kip in person but he'd held them off, wanting to keep the little Fox all to himself for as long as possible. Being able to lean over any time he wanted and steal a kiss was deliciously addictive! But he knew that eventually reality would win out and the two men would have to go back to work, so they might as well slip back into reality in a way both men enjoyed.

Jake padded into the kitchen and made himself a protein shake, blending up a smaller one for Kip without asking. He sealed the container and tossed it to the fox, who had returned from putting on his shoes and packing his gym bag. "Ready to go?" Kip asked.

Jake grabbed his own bag and headed out the door, Kip close behind. On the way out of the parking lot, Jake noticed that Kip was all the way on the other side of the truck. "Hey, aren't you going to snuggle up here next to me?" he asked.

"If we drive up to the gym with me practically sitting in your lap, don't you think someone's going to notice what's going on?"

Jake barked a laugh, "I don't care what anyone thinks, Short Stack! I love ya, and if someone doesn't like it, they can kiss my black ass!"

Kip smiled at his naïve enthusiasm."You're sweet, Jake. Think about it from the guy's point of view, though. You've had a while to come to grips with your sexuality - it would be rude to drag them in at 80 miles per hour. Let's let them get used to the idea a little more slowly? Something like this could break your group apart, if its not handled the right way." Jakes group of friends seemed tight, but you never could tell how someone would react. And Kip's experience was that people in groups often did stupid things that they'd never consider doing individually.

Jake shrugged. "If you think it's best, we'll handle it that way. I've never come out before, so I have to trust your judgement."

After thinking about it for a while, Kip said, "If you don't mind, I think I'd prefer that they get to know me for who I am, instead of for who I do. I don't mind if they find out I'm gay, I just don't want it to be the first thing they know about me."

"I wouldn't out you to them," Jake said, resting a hand on Kip's thigh. "That's your business, Short Stack."

When they pulled into the parking lot, Kip couldn't immediately spot his car, but that wasn't unusual. Driving a small sports car, he was used to it being hidden by just about every other car in the parking lot. There were times that he'd gone around the parking lot two or three times, walking around his own car several times before finally spotting it.

He remembered parking under the security light in the middle of the lot, but even when he looked closer, it remained hidden. Kip had a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. "Where's my car, Jake?"

"Oh, shit," Jake said, beginning to suspect that Kip's car had been impounded - or stolen. Either way, it was going to cost a hell of a lot of money to rectify the situation, money neither men had.

"You think I should call the police?" Kip asked, uncertain.

"Let's talk to Carl first," Jake said, taking one last look around before heading into the gym, "He might know something."

They found Carl in his office, and the worried look on Kip's face was all he needed to see before busting out laughing. "Guys!" he bellowed, "Get in here!"

When Quinn and Dunny walked into the office, they took one look at Kip's aggravated expression and immediately started to grin. When Ralph waddled in he didn't bother with a grin, instead going straight to roaring with laughter.

"What the hell's going on!" Kip demanded, his normally boundless sense of humor stretched nearly to its breaking point. "Where's my car?!?"

Dunny calmed down enough to hold both hands up in supplication. "I'm sorry, Short Stack, but the look on your face is priceless!" He put his arm around Kip's neck in a playful full-Nelson and gave his head a quick rub with his fist. "We got you this time!"

Trapped underneath the huge equine morph's sweaty arm, Kip began to understand that for the first time in his life, the jocks weren't laughing at him, but were laughing with him! The only problem was, he wasn't laughing. Suddenly he realized that this was going to be his turning point. How he handled this would either validate him with the group, or open the door for him to blend back into his previous anonymity. Which would it be? He could just fade back into the former life that he was so familiar with, or he could step out and take the chance that these guys weren't as scary and mean as he'd imagined they were.

Of all things, it was Dunny's knobby knuckles rubbing against his head that made the decision for him. It sort of hurt, but it was so much like something an older brother might have done. Kip had always wanted an older brother, someone to teach him about the world, someone to look up to and emulate. Someone to love. And these guys could be that for him, if he let them.

"Okay, okay!" came Kip's muffled protests, "enough!" He gave Dunny a sharp poke in the ribs with his free hand, and came out from under his sweaty arm disheveled but grinning. He looked at Quinn expectantly, one eyebrow raised. "You want to tell me what's going on?"

Quinn put one meaty hand between Kip's shoulderblades and guided him out the side door to the cramped little storage area, where he found something he certainly hadn't expected - his missing car. "I've still got the keys. How did you get it in here?" he asked, stunned. His little sports car was lodged in a space barely larger than the car itself. Sideways!

Ralph spoke with pride, "We carried it in!"

"No way!" Kip knew these guys were strong, but there was no way they could...

And then, to his amazement, they did! Two on one side, two on the other, they passed four pieces of square duranium tubing underneath his car, and with with Herculean strength, they deadlifted it straight off the ground.

"Holy fuck!" Kip muttered under his breath, shooting a glance back at Jake. His eyebrows were raised as well, obviously as impressed by his friends' show of strength.

"Y'all have been holding back on your deadlifts," Jake said, accusingly.

"While you've been busy playing Florence Nightingale, we've been working out!" Grunted Sam, as he slowly waddled the car backwards into the light.

"We didn't want the assholes at the towing company to steal it, so we put it inside for safe keeping," Dunny puffed, breathing hard. Kip couldn't blame him - he was walking around with a fourth of a car in his hands, after all!

"Well, thanks, guys! I really appreciate it!" Kip said, with genuine admiration. That they had gone through all that effort for him cemented his commitment to coming out of his shell and investing himself in their friendship.

"Are we clear?" gasped Sam, clearly straining at this point.

"You're already tired?" teased Dunny, "I thought we could walk it up the street and get it washed, too."

"Fuck you, Dunny," wheezed Quinn, "I'm outta gas." The men set the car down as gently as they could, but still it nearly bounced back into the air when it hit the ground.

"Wow, y'all are awesome!" Kip effused.

"Don't praise them too much," Jake said, warningly, "Their heads will swell up and you'll have to grease their ears up to get them through a doorway."

Kip parked the car in one of the empty spots and jogged back into the gym, where he found the five men waiting on him. "Come on, short stack," they greeted him, "Let's get moving!"

Ralph seemed to be the only one of them who remembered that just two days ago, he'd been knocked out cold. "You good to go?" he asked, "Don't let them push you if you're not better."

"I'm good," Kip assured him. "My head just hurt a little bit yesterday, and it's fine today."

Ralph looked at Jake for confirmation, and got an assenting nod and a shrug in return. "Well, we'll still take it light on you today," he promised. "Right, guys?"

The others looked a bit disappointed, but their muttered words promised to be gentle with him, but only for one day. After that, Kip had the feeling that it was going to be balls to the wall. Well, he hadn't joined the gym to get small, after all!

Kip walked into the dressing room to change, and once there, he was faced with a choice he hadn't consciously had to make in all the years he'd been going there. There were three zones in the locker room - one for the old men, one for the professionals, and one for the jocks. They were unmarked, but they were definitely there, as sharply delineated as if someone had taken ropes and spray paint and cordoned them off.

When he'd started going to Carl's gym, he naturally gravitated away from the Jock's lockers, and since the old men creeped him out, he usually dressed with the white collar professionals. Now that he was making friends with the jocks, perhaps he should make a change? Jake peeked around the bank of lockers like someone might have looked from East Germany to West. "You gonna come out of the Nerd Zone and dress with the big boys?" he asked, playfully.

"I don't know," Kip said, walking down the bank of lockers. One by one he opened the few that didn't have locks on them, and saw that they all had clothes hanging in them already. "Looks like they're all full already," he said, a little disappointed.

Jake went to a pair of lockers that had matching locks on them and reached out to one of them. Taking the lock in one hand, he gave it a casual twist and pulled it off. He pulled the carefully hung shirt and pants out of one and piled them on top of the locker bank. "I found an empty one!" he exclaimed, proudly. "This guy isn't part of the group," he reasoned, as Kip hoisted his gym bag into the space. "He doesn't belong here anyway. And to take up two lockers just because you don't want to get your pants wrinkly is just plain douchy."

Kip had to agree, and felt very little of the guilt he'd usually have felt about taking over someone else's space this way. The two men changed out of their street clothes and into battered workout attire, sneaking glances at one another the whole time.

For most of the afternoon Kip helped them load and unload the bar, getting his own workout in before they even started going heavy. Keeping their word to him, the guys made him stop at four plates on the bench press. "You can go all the way next week," they told him, standing defensively between Kip and the stack of weight plates. "Today you gotta take it easy."

"But he can still do another set at 180," Quinn reasoned. "That won't be too much of a strain, right? He already lifted that much." They all shrugged, and opened a hole so Kip could get back at the bench.

To tell the truth, Kip was already pretty beat! Even lifting 75% of his best had taken the stuffing out of him, and he would have stopped there if Quinn hadn't said that. How could he look him, or any of these guys for that matter, in the eyes and tell them that he was quitting because he felt tired? He'd feel like a complete and utter pussy. They didn't get where they were by quitting when they were tired, and neither would he!

Kip lay down under the weight and mentally centered himself by taking a few deep breaths. He couldn't help but feel silly doing that when he was only lifting half what some of the other guys warmed up with.

When he felt ready, he put both hands loosely on the cold, iron bar and used his middle fingers to feel for the smooth bands in the knurled metal that told him where to position his hands. Once ready, he again paused, then pushed the bar off of the bench. "Sweet Jesus," he thought to himself, "this thing is as heavy as a freakin' Buick!"

He smoothly lowered the bar to his chest, paused, and pushed it back in the air. He saw just a tiny bit of wobble in his movement, and thought to himself that maybe this wasn't going to be that bad after all. Twice more he repeated the movement, but on the fourth lift he barely made it back up. Out of the corner of his eye he could see all the guys crowded around the bench like they'd circled for Jake or any of the other big lifters. "One more, Short Stack!" called Dunny, spotting him from above, "you can do it!"

Kip held the bar in locked arms for a second more, taking in two quick breaths of, belly-deep breaths of air before lowering it down again. He pushed with all his might, slowly pressing the weight about a third the way up before hitting a brick wall. Dunny's strong hands pulled up gently on either side of the bar, helping him press the impossible weight back into position before racking it.

"Good job, man!" came from somebody - Kip thought maybe it was Quinn, but he couldn't be sure. As he levered himself off the bench a little too quickly, his blood pressure fell, and the world around him began to darken. Reaching out quickly, Kip placed a steadying hand on the rack next to him, grateful for the support it gave him until vision cleared and his legs steadied.

It only took a few seconds before his sight returned, and when it did, Jake was there in front of him, looking concerned. "You okay, buddy?" he said, reaching a hand out to rest on Kip's shoulders. When Kip nodded at him, Jake snapped his attention to the others with fury in his eyes. His drill-sergeant voice blasted out of him like artillery shells. "What the hell are you doing, pushing him like that?" he roared.

Kip jumped to the other's rescue. "Jake!" He walked around to face his friend, fighting to move as normally as he could so soon after recovering his vision. "It's okay, man. My blood pressure just drops a bit sometimes. I'm okay," he reassured, "it happens all the time." He stared straight into Jake's face, and what he saw was intimidating, to say the least. Jake's lats had spread, his hackles were raised, and he was clearly looking to kick some ass. His new boyfriend was one scary dude, Kip thought!

Jake looked into Kip's eyes for a second, making sure that he was telling the truth and not just protecting the others. What he saw there satisfied him, and the hair on his back and neck slowly smoothed down. "I'm sorry, guys," he said sheepishly, "I guess I overreacted."

They all took a step closer to him and assured him there were no hurt feelings. "We'd never hurt the little guy," Ralph said, "We're being easy on him. Right, Kip?"

"Y'all are great," Kip said, meaning it. Then he joked, "but if this is your idea of taking it easy I'm never coming back, 'cause next week y'all are going to kick my ass!"

The rest of the afternoon consisted of helping the others load and unload 20 kilo plates while they lifted. He didn't complain - loading big plates onto the bar a hundred times over the course of two hours was a workout all by itself! By the time the guys hit the showers, his arms and shoulders were aching.

In the locker room, Kip almost walked into the Nerd Zone out of force of habit, only catching himself at the last instant. He turned into the area with the jocks (the 'other' jocks? Could he count himself as one of them now?), and saw that the locker that Jake had appropriated for him was in between Sam and Dunny. The two men were so large that there was only a few inches between them for him to squeak by. And Dunny had already stripped off his workout shorts and jock strap, leaving him naked from the waist down. "Come on in, Short, Stack," Sam said, moving aside so he could get in, "plenty of room."

As Kip was fumbling with his lock Dunny turned around to face him, and the much shorter fox was suddenly face to face (or rather, chest - to - crotch) with the equine's enormous penis, bouncing back and forth in front of equally huge testicles. Turning his head away slightly, Kip put a hand on Dunny's sternum and gave a gentle push. "Would you mind getting that monster out of my face?" he asked, in as matter-of-fact a voice as he could manage."

Sam had to laugh out loud at the pained expression on Kip's face. "I've been wanting to say that for years!" he said. "Dunny can't wait to drop his shorts and let that monster out of its cage."

"Dude! You think it's comfortable keeping this "thing" stuffed in a jockstrap all day long?" Dunny protested. "You think I enjoy having a fourteen inch dick?"

"YES!" all six men said in unison, and Dunny had to grin. He did like having a huge penis, and they knew it.

At first, Kip was a little uncomfortable with all the eye candy surrounding him, but his fears that he'd embarrass himself by popping a huge boner never came to pass. He found that, after getting to know them just a little bit as people, it was harder to look at them as sexual objects. They were still hot, there was no denying that, but imagining them doing perverted and wonderful things to him was something he no longer wanted to do. Besides, he had a boyfriend now, a boyfriend who was the hottest one of the bunch! A boyfriend that, just last night, he had...

Kip clamped down on the thought before it went any farther, before it made him have the kind of reaction he was afraid of. Hell, he couldn't even look at Jake right now! He shut his locker and wrapped his towel around his waist, thinking that keeping the water temperature a few degrees cooler than normal would probably be a very, very good idea right about now.

Behind him, he heard Ralph's ear-splitting guffaw cut through the chatter. "Jake's got a boner!" Kip turned around to see all the other guys hooting and hollering, a couple of them spinning their towels to snap Jake with. "That never happens, dude!"

"Yeah, I know," Jake said, beleaguered. "I must have to piss, or something."

"Well, there are certainly no ladies in here," said Quinn, "so we must be turning you on!" The other guys all hooted with laughter, waggling their junk at Jake and making kissing noises. If it hadn't been his boyfriend at the center of attention, Kip would have found the whole scene remarkably erotic. But since it was Jake they were laughing at, he felt compelled to intervene.

Kip opened his mouth to say something, but what was he going to say, "Leave my boyfriend alone"? He was speechless.

"Well, there is one thing that's changed," Dunny said, turning to face Kip "Short Stack!" Every eye in the locker room turned to face the fox, and for a heartbeat he stood there, completely speechless. And then, for better or for worse, inspiration struck.

Kip stripped off his towel, draped it over one shoulder, spread his feet wide and put his hands behind his head. He gave his hips a single enormous burlesque buck in Jake's direction, then turned around and walked buck naked to the showers, the snowy white tip of his bushy red tail waving a jaunty goodbye to the fellas as he sauntered away.

Behind him, the explosion of laughter told him that nobody was thinking about Jake and his unfortunately timed erection any more.
