Even the world of Pokémon has to have social media personalities, am I right?
Hey, what's up my Rumblers? It's Mark Ketchum broadcasting all the way from Pallet Town! People usually ask me what it means to be a Pokémon trainer. Well, I'm here to share little nuggets of wisdom my father, none other than famous Ash Ketchum himself, told me while I was still a wee lad. During his travels, met many people, faced many dangers, and made many friends in his quest to become the greatest trainer to have ever lived. Well, he eventually succumbed to fatigue and decided that there's more to life than to be a master. But what's important is the journey, not the goal.
But that's enough of that for now. Here's the latest headlines of note this week. Castelia Team Rocket's Still At Large. Well, not surprising really. That gang always has a habit of bouncing back from death. But a chapter in Castelia City of all places? That's nothing but trouble folks! So stay alert and keep a close watch on your Pokémon, castelians. An Attack SS Anne, The Attacking Pokémon Suspected To Be Under The Effects Of The R Gas. Well, that's quite a whammy if you ask me. I thought we saw the last of that substance after the Ryme City Incident. But nope, someone somewhere managed to get their hands on that formula somehow. Death toll is still being estimated as we speak so I hope anyone who had friends and relatives onboard is prepared for the worst. And now for the last one, Galar Pokémon League Delayed Due To Pandemic. Well, that's a shame. I always enjoyed watching the matches myself. But it's understandable really. Health is always important for humans and Pokémon alike.
And speaking of pandemic, how is everyone doing under quarantine? I asked you last week to send me pictures featuring your and your Pokémon spending time indoors. Here's one from JayBird located Littleroot Town. Well, looks his son was quite happy to receive that Treecko alright. Hopefully they will become great partners. Unfortunately, I'll have to sign off early so no Trainer's Radar or Battle of the Week for you. Yeah I know, it's disappointing. But i'll reiterate that due to the ongoing pandemic, there's nary a data to be had for those things. I'll simply have to ask you to patient until the pandemic is declared over.
