"Oh my!" Mrs. Yellat said loudly as she uncovered the bed.

Lucas heard Jake's mother and woke with a freight, jumping up and already trying to explain what he thought was the situation, "It's not what it seems like...It's just-" he began, but was stopped.

"It's still the morning; can you guys please be quiet?" Jake said from somewhere else in the room.

Lucas looked over and saw the bear holding onto the side of the couch, staring at him with sleep still in his eyes. Lucas looked back to Jake's mother and saw she was just looking at him like he was crazy; and he wasn't sure if he was dreaming. Looking around the room he saw that the suites were nicely hung up on the door, he had on a pair of boxers, Jake was not in the bed with him, and Jake was dressed in a pair of wind pants and a white t-shirt.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to give you a startle...of course I was expecting Jake..." Mrs. Yellat said, still looking down with a confused look at the wolf.

Lucas let out a sigh of relief, "Same here...sorry..."

"Well, Mom you should've expected Lucas to be in my room, not like I was going to let him sleep on the couch..." Jake said with a yawn.

"Did you forget that we have other beds he could use?" Mrs. Yellat asked.

"Nope." Jake replied then yawned and continued, "But I did remember that Jenn and Zack were home and might like a place to sleep..."

"Well, they fell asleep on the couch," Jake's mother said.

"Well, I could've slept somewhere that didn't kill my back then," Jake said with a laugh.

"Well, I was just checking on you...because it's not the morning," Mrs. Yellat said with a laugh, "it's nearly two in the afternoon, and you should see some of the family..." She looked at the two and then left the room, shaking her head.

Lucas heard this and jumped out of the bed and ran to his bag talking to himself, "Crap, I'm so dead!" he said to himself digging through his bag.

"What do you mean?" Jake asked and took off the covers he had been using, and walked over to Lucas.

Lucas dug through his bad and pulled out a phone, "Hang on..." he said and called someone then talked again, "I'm sorry I didn't call!"

Jake watched as the wolf winced and grimaced, pulling the phone away from his ear every so often. Jake could definitely hear yells but he had no idea what they were saying. After a few minutes the yelling stopped and Lucas was able to talk again.

"I'm sorry...I don't have any excuses..." he said and waited, "No...Ok...Yes...Yeah, I'm good...What?...No, no I'm staying with Jake...No, his parents don't mind...Yeah...Ok...Ok...Bye, love ya'll."

Lucas looked over and saw the bear staring at him. Lucas gave a weak smile and pointed at the phone, "Parents...didn't exactly remember to call em..."

"Ouch..." Jake said and gave a laugh.

Lucas laughed lightly too then looked back at the bear, "Your mom nearly made me have a heart attack!"

"Why?"

"Why?!" Lucas asked wide eyed, "Why do you think?"

Jake laughed and patted Lucas's shoulder, "I took care of everything...I got up around ten or so and made sure it seemed...well, normal."

"I'm more surprised that you dressed me without me waking up..." Lucas said with a laugh.

"You were out a like light, I could've beaten a drum above your head and you wouldn't have known."

Lucas laughed then looked at the bear more seriously, "Thanks..."

"Not a problem...want to get a bite?"

"Sure...what do you want to eat?"

"Well...I was thinking I would call up Jim and Jules," Jake began and watched the wolf for any negative reactions, "and see if they wanted to hang...and we could try last night again...you know a real date?"

Lucas stared back at the bear, not giving him any signs yet. He watched as Jake started to fidget before him and smiled, "Sounds good."

Jake gave his goofy smile, "Great!" he replied then looked away with a frown and began to blush, "I promise it'll be better than last night."

Lucas smiled at the bear and looked at the door to see if anyone could see them, then leaned in kissed Jake on the lips, "I know..."

Jake pulled Lucas close to him and ran his hands down the wolf's back, tracing the wolf's spine. After a moment he pulled away and smiled, "You should get dressed before I do something,"

Lucas chuckled at the bear, "What would that be?" he asked, but was already at his bag and pulling out clothes. He settled on a pair of shorts and a blue t-shirt.

After they were dressed they headed down stairs, where everyone else was lying around. Jenn looked up from a book and gasped at Jake, "Jake, what happened to your face?!"

Jake looked at her and laughed, "Oh...funny story really..." he began and saw Lucas looking down at the ground, "Well, you see the waiter handed me my plate and then he spilt some of it, it was hot soup, and out of reflex his hand went to my face..."

Jake's mother moved over to her son and looked closely at his muzzle, "I hope they apologized..."

"Yeah, yeah they did...it wasn't a big deal. I'll heal and that's all there is to it." Jake replied and looked back over at Lucas, who gave a small smile back. After a few jokes Jake's family stopped and returned to their previous tasks, and Jake and Lucas walked outside. After closing the door Jake and Lucas walked around outside for a bit and Jake noticed Lucas panting.

"You hot?" Jake asked.

"Yeah...You weren't joking when you said it was hot down here..." Lucas said while going over to a shaded tree.

"Yeah...it gets up to about one hundred on a bad day...and I think today's a pretty bad day," Jake said with a laugh and sat down in the shade.

After a few moments Lucas's breathing returned to normal and he looked around the yard, "You guys have a nice place; big, good looking,...hot."

Jake chuckled at the wolf and looked around the yard too, "Yeah...I guess it's nice...but I never really liked such a large space. I'm just glad that we're a bit isolated out here and that I can at least see the stars at night."

They didn't talk for a moment and just sat, enjoying the other's company. Jake leaned back on the tree and closed his eyes, and began to drift off. He was thinking when he heard Lucas.

"Thanks...for not telling your family that I hit ya."

"Well, then it would've just been awkward on so many levels...but don't mention it..." Jake replied with a sigh, still resting his eyes.

"Does it hurt?"

"Nah...a bit sore, but so is my head anyway...like I said, I'll heal..."

Lucas laughed a bit and smiled at the bear, "You know...your face has taken a lot of abuse since you came home..."

Jake laughed at this and opened his eyes, "Yeah, ...Hey," Jake began and looked over at Lucas, "is that cut going to leave a scar?" he asked and pointed to his head.

Lucas looked at it and chuckled, "Just a small one, but no one will really be able to notice. Besides you want a memento of your battle with gravity?"

"No, that's why I asked." Jake said with a laugh and punched Lucas on the shoulder.

Lucas smiled at the bear and leaned over and rested his head on the bear's shoulder and let out a sigh. Jake returned the smile and put his head back and rested on the tree. After a few minutes Jake realized that Lucas had fallen back asleep, and found himself growing sleepy also.

Jake woke up later and noticed the sun was going down. He looked over and saw that Lucas was still asleep next to him. Jake pulled at his shirt which was damp due to the humidity and his sweat. Jake put his head back and watched the wolf sleep for awhile before deciding to wake him, "Hey...Lucas, you should get up."

Lucas nuzzled closer to Jake and let out a grunt. Jake laughed at the wolf and shook him lightly, "Yo, Lucas, time to get up..."

Lucas opened his eyes a bit and looked up at the bear, sleep still in his eyes, "...I was having a good dream."

"Sorry, but you can dream about me later," Jake said with a laugh "Now we need to get ready to meet Jules and Jim."

"Where we meeting them Big guy?" Lucas asked with a yawn.

"At the place you found me...The Shack..." Jake said and stood up. Jake held out a paw for Lucas.

Lucas took the paw and let the bear hoist him up onto his feet. Lucas yawned again and walked with the bear up the yard.

"We're actually a bit late...we'll just head straight there." Jake said and moved towards his car.

"OK..." Lucas said, still half-asleep.

They got into the car and drove the meet Jules and Jim at the Shack. By the time they arrived Lucas had livened up more. He walked next to the bear and looked him over, "I really wish I had had time to change shirts..." he said.

Jake looked over at Lucas and laughed, "Yours isn't even as bad as mine..." he said and pointed at his chest, where the shirt was damp.

"Man, we really should go to the Fire Grill..." Lucas said with a laugh.

Jake laughed too as they walked into the restaurant. Jake looked over and saw Jim and Jules waiting for them at a table. He walked over with Lucas and they sat down at the table. It was awkward for a moment before Lucas finally said something, "So...who's hungry?"

Jules smiled and laughed a bit, "Me...I think I could eat an entire buffet at the moment."

"Or at least as much as Jim?" Jake asked with a laugh.

"Hey...You know she doesn't even weigh enough to eat that much!" Jim said with a laugh.

They talked for a bit, and Lucas was glad that the atmosphere wasn't as bad as he thought it would turn out. They ordered their meals and talked for a while. Lucas enjoyed it this time; it wasn't dirty, snobby, or anything odd. It was normal. Lucas jumped when he heard a loud voice behind him, "Hey, Cub!" the voice said in an almost demanding tone.

Everyone at the table looked at the person who had said it. Jake looked at the bull and after a moment his memory clicked. He jumped up in his seat and extended his hand for the bull, "Allen! Hey, how are you?"

"Good, we sa-" he began before Sarah interrupted.

"We saw you from our booth and decided to pay you a visit...small world huh? How's your head Cub?" Sarah asked in a motherly tone.

Jake could hear his friends laugh a bit behind him when he was called Cub, but he ignored them. "Its fine," he replied and knocked on his head, "told you...hard head."

"Good, good." Sarah said.

Allen cut in again and talked to Jules, "Is this the person you were trying to tell that you loved?" he asked bluntly.

Jake could hear Jim cough on his drink, "What?!"

Jake cut in before anything else was said, "NO!" he almost yelled and found himself blushing also, "I...took care of that situation, but this is not my girlfriend."

"Allen! You embarrassed him, look at him he's red as a beet." Sarah said and hit her husband upside the head.

Jake lowered his head so no one could see his face, "Not really helping..."

Jules broke in now, "It's nice to meet ya'll...how do ya'll know Jake?"

Sarah smiled at the fox, "We meet him a few days ago on a hike and we're just in town for a moment..."

"Oh...well, we're some of Jake's friends; I'm Julia, this is Jim, my fiancée," she said and waited a bit after that, "and this is Lucas..."

"Good to meet ya'." Allen said and then looked back at Jake, "Pick your head up Cub."

Jake lifted his head and was still red, "...So...how are ya'll?"

"We're doing good," Allen replied and took a step closer looking at Jake's head, "You're healing nicely...but there will be a scar..."

"Really? It's that noticeable?" Jake asked and added emphasis on the last part. He looked down at Lucas who was just sipping on a drink.

Lucas felt the bear's eyes on him and looked up, "Don't blame me that you lost to gravity."

Jake glared at the wolf for a moment before he heard Sarah talking again, "Well, we need to head out anyway, so we'll stop embarrassing you in front of your friends."

"Jake doesn't need help for something like that." Jim said with a laugh.

"Yeah...thanks...feeling the love..." Jake said and looked back over at the couple. "It was great to see you guys again..."

"You too, and speaking of love; so it worked out?" Sarah asked.

Jake felt his embarrassment coming back, "Yeah..."

"And?" Allen asked, waiting for more.

"And...I still have a long way to go, but...Thank you guys...for everything." Jake replied.

"Maybe you're starting to grow up..." Allen said and Sarah nodded behind him, but soon continued, "still a cub though..."

Jake couldn't help but laugh, "Yeah..."

"Well, we need to leave, but it was nice to see you again Jake." Sarah said and motioned for Allen to follow her.

Before walking off Allen said one last thing, "Remember how important love is Cub, and maybe one day you'll-" he said but was stopped again.

"Come on Allen!" Sarah said and he gave a grunt and walked off.

Jake waved good-bye and once he sat back down still thinking about what the bull had said, "Geez...I told them that I hate clichés and he leaves me with a statement like that..." he said to himself then saw his friends looking at him, "What?"

"You...in love?" Jim asked, slightly shocked.

"Jake! I'm so happy for you!" Jules said.

"Who's the sucker?" Jim asked with a laugh.

Jake looked at the couple and smiled, "Who says that I'm in a relationship?"

"Well how many other ways are there to interpret that?" Jim asked.

"Lucas!" Jules said and jumped in her seat, "You must know who it is! Tell us please!"

Lucas looked over at the bear and smiled, "Sorry...can't do...I have to live with the guy and he would kill me."

"Good boy." Jake said and patted Lucas on the head.

"No fair..." Jules said with a pout.

Jim looked at his friend more seriously, "Hey...Jake, I want to talk with you outside," he said and stood up.

Jake grimaced as his friend walked off, but got up anyway. He walked outside with Jim and he stared at the gorilla for a moment.

"Really? I mean can you not trust me enough to tell me something like this?" Jim asked, his voice slightly flustered.

Jake let out a sigh, "Jim...I just don't know how to handle the situation...it's complex..."

"Complex? Yeah, I'm sure. You don't trust anyone and you practically abandon your past...what are you trying?" Jim replied.

Jake looked up at his friend, now angry also, "Jim, I planned to tell you, so stop acting like such a jerk about it. And never say that I'm abandoning my past! Jim," he said and found his anger gone, "I'm not as lucky as you; I'm not social, I'm not good with people, I'm not a very caring person, and I'm really not good with expressing how I feel. I...wanted to ask you how you know that you love Jules..." he said the last part in a whisper.

Jim stared at his friend, now slightly embarrassed because of his anger. "Jake... sorry, I didn't mean anything like that..."

"No problem...it's just one of the many 'complex' problems" Jake said with a dry laugh and found himself reverting back to his normal self very quickly. "But...how do you know that you love Jules?"

Jim looked at his friend and sighed, "Explaining this kind of stuff to you is really difficult you know..." he said and began.

Inside Jules and Lucas were sitting at the table. Lucas looked at Jules and tried to make some small talk, "So...you and Jim huh?"

"Yep!" she responded happily and extended her hand to show off the ring.

"Umm...I know I don't know you well, or Jim, but...was Jim angry when he left?" Lucas asked and looked behind him at the two talking.

"I don't know...frustrated I'm sure, but angry may be a bit too strong. Jim thinks of himself as Jake's best friend who he should be able to trust...but Jake..." Jules said and let the last part hang.

"Has some serious trust issues." Lucas said matter of factly.

Jules looked up at Lucas, slightly shocked at the bluntness of it.

Lucas continued, "Being Jake's friend means being ready to accept the fact that he may never really open up to you..."

"Yeah...he always seems to be hiding something...Is he happy at college?"

"I think so..."

"That's good...you seem to be really close to him, and it's only been one year...you've gotten close to him quickly." Jules said.

"Ehh...We click I guess." Lucas said and tried to blow it off.

"Are you OK from last night?" Jules asked suddenly.

Lucas stared back at the fox, "...yeah...sorry I didn't mean to ruin the night..."

"You didn't, they did when they started those jokes...I mean, sure being gay is wrong but I don't like such jokes anyway..."

Lucas smiled, "Yeah...I hate those kind of jokes, but maybe its just that northern radicalism kicking in..." he said with a chuckle, hoping to change to a less serious matter. Lucas felt like the fox was able to see the past him, and it made him feel nervous.

"You and Jake are a lot alike...Ya'll both avoid so many things with humor..." Jules said with a sigh.

Lucas swallowed hard, waiting for whatever was coming next.

"But you're new to it...or at least you're not comfortable here," Jules said.

Lucas decided to be more serious since his attempted humor failed, "Yeah...I can't play things off near as well as Jake though...its really quiet the trait, but you're something...like you see people a bit more deeply..."

Jules just nodded and continued, "I know you won't betray Jake's trust, but I can't help but wonder who Jake is involved with..."

Lucas decided that he could handle things better if he stayed serious, "Nah...can't break the trust, sorry."

Jules smiled, sweetly still, "I didn't think so, but...you must be curious too..."

"About what?"

"What Jake tells that person...I mean if he loves that person he must be like an open book to them..."

"Hardly an open book..." Lucas found himself saying then saw Jules give a confused look, but Lucas coughed and tried to make up for it, "or that's what I would think...I'll ask later."

Jules laughed lightly at the wolf, "Sorry...I've been badgering you haven't I? Enough serious conversation...tell me about yourself..."

Lucas smiled and was glad to change the subject, "Well...I'm just an average guy I guess..." he said and was sure that Jules didn't think anything about what he had said earlier.

Outside Jake was listening to Jim, "Love is...knowing someone when their happiness is very important to you, so that you behave in a kind and caring way towards them, I guess..."

"Sounds like you choked that out a dictionary." Jake said with a slight laugh.

"I was trying to make it so you could understand, we're not all robots!" Jim said with a laugh.

Jake laughed too and asked Jim to continue, "Well...I'll try my best; so tell me what you think love is."

"Well...for Julia...She is everything to me. I would go to the end of the world for her, and I would do anything it takes for her. Her happiness is what causes mine, and I want to protect and support her with everything that I am. Love is...caring for that person to where you feel like they know you better than you know yourself...or something like that..."

Jake thought about what Jim said and looked back at his friend, "Thanks...that really helps."

"I hope it does..."

"It does...really." Jake said and stared up at the sky for a moment. He felt Jim pat him on the shoulder and begin to walk back into the restaurant.

"You'll find your way."

Jake stopped the gorilla for a moment, "Jim...Thanks for everything, and there's something you need to know," Jake said and tried to find the words. "Jim, there are things that I don't think I can tell you, things that so many people don't support and things that I've done that the community would probably never forgive, but for me; I don't feel as though I need forgiveness. I want to tell you one day, and I will, but for now, just let me be as vague as possible, please?"

"Well, being vague is as fun as that other thing..." Jim said with a laugh and then continued, "Jake...I'm not sure what you're talking about, or what you feel is so bad that everyone you know would hate you for, but I'll always be your best friend. But...just tell me one thing...just give me one word of a hint..."

Jake laughed at his friends attempt and smiled, "Well, OK...but you never said about what; I could be talking about how my family believes my major is evil, and that it is messing with how we are naturally and an abomination, or it could be something more personal, like my relationships...here's your hint; ¿Quién... se sienta luego... a mí?

Jim watched as his friend walked in and he followed and talked with him, "You know I suck at Spanish.

"I know-that's why I said it." Jake said and sat next to Lucas. He looked up and noticed that Jim was still thinking about the hint, obviously he hadn't got it when he sat next to Lucas. Jake let out a slight chuckle, and looked over at Lucas and Jules, "So...what have you two been doing?"

"Oh, just talking about your deepest and darkest secrets and sharing horrible stories." Lucas said sarcastically.

"Don't forget the planning to post them on the internet part..." Jules said, just as sarcastically.

"Oh..yeah...and that. We plan to destroy your life Big-guy." Lucas said with a laugh.

Jake stared at the wolf and laughed lightly. They continued to talk for another hour before it got late, and they decided to part ways. Jules let Jake know that she was glad he had changed, and then told Lucas that it was nice to meet him.

"Was good to meet you too, and you Jim." Lucas said and shook the gorilla's hand.

"Yeah, are you leaving already?" Jim asked.

"Yep...I need to get home before my family kills me," Lucas said with a laugh.

They left and Jake and Lucas drove back to the house. During the drive Jake looked over at Lucas, "So...have a fun time?"

"Yeah, it was fun, you have some good friends."

"Yeah..." Jake could see Lucas grinning a bit, "What?"

"Oh, just the couple that knew you..."

Jake blushed and looked at the road, "What about them?"

"Oh nothing..." Lucas said then tried to talk like a monk, "sounds like you have gained much wisdom,...Cub"

"Shut-up" Jake said with a laugh, then looked back at the wolf, "So...you're leaving?"

Lucas looked over at the bear and gave a kind smile, "Yeah..." After that it was silent for a few minutes. Lucas looked back over at the bear, "Hey, Jake?"

"Huh?" Jake gave a grunt of a response.

"I was wondering...if you wanted to come with me?"

Jake couldn't help but let a smile come across his face but he tried not to let it show, "I don't want to be a burden..."

"You won't be...I fetched the idea with my parents before I left..."

"Oh...well in that case...Sure."

"Great!" Lucas said with a grin, "Well I told my parents I'd be hoem by lunch tomorrow...so I'll need to leave around six."

"OK...I'll follow you out."

"What about your parents? Don't you think you should ask?" Lucas asked, but was sure he already knew the bear's answer.

"Nah, I have everything ready...Spring Break back home...isn't exactly very relaxing..."

"OK then...We'll leave at six."

With that the two didn't say anything more. When they got back to the house Jake told Lucas to go up stairs. Lucas went up stairs and could hear Jake talking with his parents. There was no yelling, or any real sign of distress. After a few minutes the bear came up and began to pack his things.

"So...how'd it go?"

Jake shrugged his shoulders and put a shirt into a bag, "Not bad I guess...in truth there wasn't much of a response. They told me to be careful and to call."

Lucas decided not to probe further for answers and instead moved to the bed and lay down. After Jake was done, he locked the door and lied next to Lucas. Lucas pushed his body into the bear's and felt Jake pull him closer.

"I think we should just get some sleep tonight Big Guy."

Jake let out a playful growl but didn't move onto the wolf then laughed, "Yeah...you're probably right," Jake responded and put on of his legs over Lucas's and his head ontop of the wolf's. Jake heard Lucas yawn and move in towards him more, to which Jake pulled more on the wolf. Jake kissed the top of the wolf's head lightly, "Night Lucas..."

Within a few minutes Lucas had fallen asleep. Jake held onto the wolf for a while and watched the wolf sleep. Jake thought for a few minutes and soon found his eyes were already heavy. He pulled Lucas closer and nuzzled the wolf before falling asleep also, Lucas's warmth radiating into him.

The next morning Jake woke up early and began to put his stuff back into his car. When he went back into his room Lucas was up and moving. Lucas had his bags and looked over at the bear, "Ready to head out?"

Jake nodded and grabbed the last of his stuff.

"Going to say good-bye to your family?"

"Said it last night." He responded flatly and began to walk out of the house. Once outside he put his stuff into his car, and turned around to see Lucas behind him.

"You OK?" Lucas asked.

"Yeah, sorry...trying not to be sentimental or too cold, but I guess I'm not doing such a hot job..." Jake responded with a laugh.

Lucas stopped and thought about what to say for a moment, "I'm sorry...if you didn't have a good time back home," he said and waited for a reaction from the bear. To his surprise Jake gave a large smile.

"No, coming back here was great...I mean to say the least it has shown me how much I've changed." Jake responded then looked at Lucas, "And...it's where I finally had enough courage to say that I love you," he finished and pulled Lucas into a hug.

Lucas returned the hug, but it only lasted for a moment. Soon Jake pulled away and looked at their cars, "Ok...so you follow me out, and then I'll follow you on the highway till we get to your place."

"Sounds like a plan." Lucas said and went to his car. He waited for Jake to pull out then followed behind him. The roads weren't bad since it was early in the morning, and they weren't much worse when they got on the highway. They drove for a few hours and Lucas called Jake, "Hey, how you holding up?"

"Not bad, these long drives don't really get to me." Jake responded.

"Good...I don't know how you do 'em. These drives have been horrible on me...of course I really just now started to drive."

"You just need to find things to keep you occupied, but obviously still pay attention to the road. Are we close to your place yet?" Jake asked.

"Yep, we'll take the next exit...I think..." Lucas said, and let out an uneasy laugh.

Jake laughed at the wolf but didn't say anything more. After a few moments of silence they began to talk about a different subject and the last bit of road passed away quickly. When they pulled into the town Lucas made sure to drive slowly so that Jake didn't get lost, and they made it to his house within twenty minutes. Once they arrived Jake helped Lucas get his stuff and they walked up the driveway.

"OK," Lucas began, "so I guess you're going to have to meet my family..."

"Is that a bad thing?" Jake asked with a laugh.

"No, but they'll ask a good bit of questions...I assume," Lucas said with a laugh then looked over at the bear, "also...I'm sure my friends are gonna wanna meet ya' too."

Jake was about to ask another question when the door in front of them slung open and Jake watched as a large black wolf stepped out of the house, "Let me take a bag for you."

Jake didn't know how to respond and let the wolf take a bag; "Thanks..." he said and looked over at Lucas with a confused look.

Lucas looked back and covered his mouth and tried to whisper, "Don't worry...I'm sure they're a bit angry cause I didn't call 'em...they'll warm up to you soon."

Jake smiled doubtfully and followed the wolves into the house. Once inside Jake saw who he guessed was Lucas's mother standing at the side of a counter, tapping her foot and staring at the wolf. Jake looked over at Lucas who walked over to the female, his head low, and the father walked over and stood next to his mother.

Lucas looked up at his parents, "Sorry I didn't call. You raised me better than that, and the moment you trust me to go somewhere on my own I fail. I don't have any excuses. Sorry," he said and waited for his parent's response.

Jake watched the scene and thought it was strange. It seemed so formal, not close, or casual at all, but to his surprise Lucas's parents gave a light smile and hugged their son for a moment, which Lucas returned.

"Don't do it again," his father said then looked over at Jake, "Sorry about that, I'm Lucas's father, Mr. Vadikson, but you can call me Phil," he said and extended his hand to the bear.

Jake shook the hand and was surprised hwo hard the wolf gripped, "It's nice to meet you, I'm Jake..." he replied and watched as the older wolf looked at him as if waiting for more. Jake coughed, slightly embarrassed and continued, "...Jake Yellat"

The female wolf walked over and patted him on the shoulder, "It's a pleasure to meet you Jake, we've heard a lot about you from Lucas."

"I hope not too much..." Jake said with a laugh.

Before any real conversation started Jake heard feet moving in the house and a high-pitched voice, "Lucas!"

Jake watched as a small pup ran from the hallway and hugged at Lucas's legs and didn't let go. Lucas picked the pup up and held her at arms length from his face and smiled brightly at her, "Oh, hello Ana!" he said as spun the child around.

"Did Mom and Dad beat you?" the pup asked with a sly laugh.

Lucas frowned at the child, "No...Did you want them too? I thought I was your favorite sibling?!" he asked jokingly and tried to look hurt.

The pup, Ana, frowned also, "No you're not! You are my favorite brother!"

Lucas laughed at the pup and set her down, "So I'm your favorite sibling..."

"Don't tease her Lucas," Mrs. Vadikson said and moved over and picked the child up, then looked back at Jake, "I'm sure you two must be hungry?"

"Sure!" Lucas said with a grin then looked over at his family, "What's on the menu?"

"Whatever you can grab out of the fridge and make into a meal." Phil said as he walked out of the room and into a room with the TV.

Lucas looked over at Jake and gave a smile, "OK...so, I guess we can make sandwiches."

"I think that's part of our diet now," Jake said with a laugh as he walked over to the wolf and they went to the kitchen.

In the kitchen they made their meals and Lucas showed Jake to the table where they sat down to eat. Into the meal Ana joined them and talked constantly and asked many questions, "Who's your friend? Where's he from? How long are you staying Lucas?"

Jake watched the girl and couldn't help but smile. He never responded-the pup never gave him a chance to. She was young, the age where they never stopped moving around and asking questions. Jake ate his meal slowly listening to the pup tell about how she had found a bug in the grass before Lucas's mother came in.

"Ana, you should leave Lucas and his friend alone, I'm sure they're tired," she said and waved the child off. Ana left the room with a pout.

When she was passing by Lucas leaned down, "Don't worry Ana we'll talk later..." he whispered into her ear. Hearing this she smiled and ran out of the room, running to her father to tell him about the bug now. Lucas smiled as she ran down the hall then turned around to his mother, "She's really growing..."

"Yep, and she's such a handful." Mrs. Vadikson said with a smile as she sat down at the table. She looked over at Jake, "So, Jake, I hear that you and Lucas have the same major, and that you two have become good friends?"

Jake looked at the mother wolf and gave a slight smile, "Yes, ma'am."

"Don't badger him Mom," Lucas said with a laugh.

"I only asked one question!" she said in a jestingly hurt tone.

"Yeah the first of thousands," Lucas responded.

"I don't mind...." Jake said with a smile.

"Oh, how nice Lucas," Mrs. Vadikson said as she nodded towards Jake, "your friend is so well mannered-and doesn't mind my badgering."

Lucas laughed at his mother as she began to ask Jake more questions. Jake really didn't mind answering the questions. She asked him about his high-school life, his home, his family, and about how life at college was. Some time into the talk, Mr. Vadikson came in and sat down to listen as well. The mood of the house was calm, and Jake felt at ease as he talked to the family.

"So," Mr. Vadikson broke in, "you work out?"

"Yeah...a bit," Jake said modestly. It was obvious that he wasn't the biggest person at the table, though he wasn't much smaller than Mr. Vadikson. "But Lucas is really strong too; he always beats me in races..."

"I know Lucas is strong, but what I wanted to ask is if you'd be interested in helping out around the house? I could use an extra hand, and if you wouldn't mind I accept your help." Mr. Vadikson said.

"Sure, not a problem," Jake said with a smile, "I'd feel horrible if I didn't help out anyway..."

"Good, we can work tomorrow." Mr. Vadikson said with a grin.

"Great...you've just made yourself a slave to my dad's work-prepare to suffer," Lucas said with an unsure laugh.

"Well, besides that," Mr. Vadikson began, "how did you meet my boy? That's something I've never heard Lucas say." he asked and waited for Jake's response.

"Well," Jake said and thought about it, "I think it was just casual. We have almost every class together and then one day he sits next to me and we just start talking; after that we just hung out...almost the entire time..."

"Yep...nothing special about it..." Lucas said with a laugh.

Mr. Vadikson stared at Jake for a moment, and Jake wondered what was wrong, but before anyone said something he stood up. "Well, it's a pleasure to have meet you; make yourself at home, and I'll see you tomorrow," he said and stood up.

He left after that and Jake heard a door close.

"He works a night shift." Lucas explained before Jake asked.

"Ohhh...." Jake said and looked over at Lucas.

"Well," Mrs. Vadikson began also, "I should go see Ana-the child shouldn't be left alone too long; trouble will come of it," she said with a laugh and walked off.

Jake watched as the wolf walked out of the room, leaving him and Lucas alone. He looked over at Lucas and gave a grin, "Your family seems nice."

"Yeah, they're great." Lucas said with a smile also, "You finished with your lunch?" Lucas asked.

"Yeah," Jake said as he picked up his plate.

"Cool," Lucas said and they walked into the kitchen. Once in the kitchen they washed their plates off, and stood around for a moment. Lucas looked at the bear and chuckled a bit, "So..."

Jake chuckled too, and looked back at Lucas, "Yeah...umm what do you want to do?"

"I really have no idea..."

"This is weird..." Jake said with a laugh. They both laughed for a moment, this usually didn't happen. They always had something to keep them occupied, but now there was nothing.

Lucas stood still for a moment, "Well...want to watch TV?"

Jake laughed and walked with the wolf to the room, "Sure."

They watched TV for a few hours. They sat on the couch, apart, but still close to each other. While they were watching they still talked casually. After an hour Lucas's mom came in and told them that she had to go to town, and would be within an hour. They watched some crime shows talked about the shows, and how they thought the crime was. Lucas smiled at Jake, "You know...I don't think we've ever done this..."

"What?" Jake asked with a smile.

"Nothing" Lucas responded.

"No, what do you mean."

Lucas laughed at the bear a bit, "No, that's what I mean...Nothing; we're doing nothing."

"Ohh..." Jake said and grinned back at the wolf, "It's nice, I guess...sitting around..."

"Enjoying each other's company," Lucas finished for Jake.

Jake smiled at the wolf, "Yeah..." he replied and leaned against Lucas. Jake kept his head on Lucas's shoulder for awhile, but after a few minutes moved it down and found himself lying down on the couch; his head in Lucas's lap.

Lucas began to pet Jake's head as they watched TV. Neither one of them said anything now, but just kept close to each other. As the show progressed Lucas would tap Jake with his finger and smirk, his way of telling the bear that he saw a plot twister coming. Lucas continued to run his paw through the bear's fur, playing with Jake's ears every so often, before he felt his phone vibrate.

Jake tensed up when the phone vibrated, but quickly relaxed and just let Lucas get to it. Lucas pulled out the phone and answered, "Ello?"

Jake continued to watch the TV as Lucas talked, not paying too much attention to the TV, a commercial was on anyway. He enjoyed it whenever Lucas would pet him, though it rarely happened because of their schedules-usually they didn't have time to sit around. Jake thought about it and realized; they had only been dating for about a month. After realizing this he shook a little, remembering that he had already told the wolf that he loved him.

It seemed too early at first, but as he thought about it seemed OK. He and Lucas had been hanging out all year anyway, and as he had said before, it was like they were dating anyway; now it was just more official. He had never meet someone like Lucas before, someone who he felt so close too, or that he trusted so much. Jake returned to the world when he felt Lucas tapping on his head.

"Hey, Big-guy, what do you want to eat? My mom says she'll pick something up for us."

"I don't know anything around here," Jake replied then thought about it for a moment, "I'll have whatever you have."

"OK," Lucas said as he ruffled Jake's head. He turned his attention back to the phone then, "OK...so just make it two orders of what I usually get... Ok.... Yeah... Ok...Cya when you get home then." Lucas said and hung up the phone.

"So...what's the usual?" Jake asked.

"Just an order of fried rice and meat..." Lucas said.

"Sounds good? What styel?"

"Tai..."

"Don't think I've had that before," Jake said and was now curious.

"You'll either love it or hate it...and everyone I know hates it..." Lucas said with a laugh.

"Well, maybe I'll be the one who likes it." Jake replied with a grin.

Lucas smiled down at Jake and resumed petting the bear's head, to which Jake nuzzled closer to the wolf. They continued to watch TV for a moment and Lucas smiled and poked Jake again, "Told you the wife was guilty..." he said with a chuckle.

Jake didn't respond, but after that the time passed all too quickly. They got half way into another crime when Jake heard Lucas's mom coming in, and he quickly sat up and adjusted his fur. By the time she entered it looked just the same as when she left; the two of them sitting there watching TV.

"I brought the food," Mrs. Vadikson said and waited for a response. After they didn't respond she called a bit more demandingly now, "Lucas, food is here!"

Lucas stood up and gestured for Jake to follow, "OK, sorry...just trying to wait for a commercial."

Mrs. Vadikson smiled at Jake when he entered, "I hope you know what you've gotten yourself in for...oh, and you two can eat in there; I've already eaten with Ana" she said as Lucas handed the bear a small container.

"Cool," Lucas said as he set down his container and went over and hugged his mother, "Thanks!"

Jake watched and waited for Lucas to exit the room and followed too and turned around to thank Mrs. Vadikson, "Thank you for the food."

She smiled in return and Jake went back to the room with Lucas. Once in, he opened the box and stared at the food. It seemed OK and it also smelt good, and he saw that Lucas had already begun to eat. Jake went to take a bite and slowly chewed the first of the meal. He saw Lucas looking at him as he ate.

"So...it good?" Lucas asked as he took another bite.

Jake didn't know how to respond. The food wasn't bad, in truth Jake liked it but he wasn't sure how to describe it. He swallowed and looked at the wolf, "It's...got a really unique flavor."

Lucas laughed a bit, "I was just surprised that you didn't grimace at the first bite...you don't have to eat it if you don't want to"

"No, no...I like it...just have no way to describe it..." Jake said and took another bite.

Lucas smiled back at the bear and continued the meal. They watched the show and talked more about the crimes. After the show ended Jake looked at the wolf, "You know, it's weird...we never do this kind of stuff back at college, but..."

"It's fun...or relaxing to say the least." Lucas said, once again completing the bear's sentence. He looked over at Jake who just nodded in agreement. Lucas saw that Jake had finished the meal, "So, did you like the food?"

"Yeah it was good."

"Get enough?"

"Yeah."

"OK, cool," Lucas replied with a smile, "Now we just need to throw away the container," he said and stood up. Lucas offered to take Jake's and the bear thanked him, and Lucas went to throw away the containers. Inside the kitchen he found his mother sitting at a table, working on some type of documents. He walked past her and threw away the trash and began to exit before she stopped him.

"Was it good?"

"Yeah, excellent..." Lucas said and stopped waiting for his mother to continue, but when she didn't he continued, "So...what else do you want to ask?"

"Oh, nothing..." she replied, never taking her eyes off the papers.

Lucas knew he wasn't going to get anywhere while she was like this. Even when he was a pup, once his mother was on a task she didn't stop until it was complete. He stood around for a moment and decided to sit down at the table also. "I guess I haven't asked, but how are things around here...?"

Now she took her attention off the papers and stared back at her son, "Good, I have been busy and so has your father...and Ana is making a social butterfly at school, or so the teachers tell me."

"That's good," Lucas replied and let out a yawn, "Sorry about not telling you I was brining Jake home with me..." Lucas waited for a reaction now; he knew this was what his mother was waiting for. She never liked it when he cleared things with his father and never asked her.

Mrs. Vadikson smiled at her son, "Thank you for saying that," she replied and looked back at the papers but continued, "I guess it's just hard for me; you're getting older and independent. Yes, you call us every week at least, but I and your father still miss you everyday..."

Lucas smiled at his mom. They told him this almost every time they saw him, and it made him feel guilty and happy. He went over and hugged his mother and walked back to the room but turned around, "I know; I miss you guys too, but hey, you said it yourself we've all been busy, we're just growing in other areas, not losing ground here," he said and walked out of the room.

When he walked back into the other room Ana was occupying Jake, asking him about college life.

"It's good..." Jake responded.

"Can you eat whatever you want?" Ana asked.

"Well, I guess you can, but eating healthy is still important..." Jake replied and saw that Lucas had come back.

Lucas laughed and walked in, "Don't bother trying to slide in life-lessons Jake, she only hears the parts she wants..."

"Jake says that in college your parents don't tell you what to do...Is that true Lucas?" Ana asked her brother.

Lucas laughed at his sister, "Well, yeah...Mom and Dad are here with you so that means they aren't with me..."

Ana looked over at Jake now, "And your parents don't follow you there?" she asked; acting like it was such an amazing thing.

"Nope. You're free at college." Jake replied, and couldn't help but smile at the pup. To her that was a revolutionary idea.

"OK pup, time for you to go to bed!" Lucas said as he ran up behind here and scooped her up into his arms. She squealed in as she was lifted, but whined as Lucas carried her off to her bed. Lucas set her down and kissed her on top of the forehead and left the room. He went back into the room where Jake was still sitting.

"Your sister is really funny," Jake said with a grin.

"At that age, I can't imagine how my parents deal with the questions...." Lucas said and sat down with a sigh. After a moment he looked over at Jake, "Hey, want to go swimming?"

"You have a pool?" Jake asked, surprised.

"Yeah...out back."

"Well I don't have a swim suit." Jake replied.

"Oh...well, I can fix that, but we can swim later...we might want to get some rest now."

"Why?" Jake asked.

"My dad is like a slave driver...We'll start at about six and won't get done till late into the day I bet."

"No problem I guess..." Jake said, now a bit uneasy about the kind of work they would be doing.

Lucas smiled at the bear, "Well, I guess we should get ready to sleep Big-guy," he said and walked to his room.

Jake followed the wolf to his room and wondered where he would sleep, "Hey, Lucas...hate to ask but where will I sleep?"

Lucas looked back at the bear and smiled, "On the bed...where else?"

Jake couldn't help but blush a bit, but thought the wolf was serious. "Lucas... I don't think we should do that..."

Lucas walked over and patted Jake on the stomach, "Don't worry Big-guy; I don't mean we'll sleep like we usually do...but you will sleep under the covers," Lucas said in a firm manner and continued, "but I guess we can't exactly do too much,"

Jake was still unsure, but nodded his head anyway. He looked around the room and remembered the first time he had been in here, and the activities it involved. Smiling a bit, Jake jumped a little when Mrs. Vadikson entered the room and handed him his bag from home.

"Here you go hon' I assume you'll want some clothes for tommrow," she said and laid the case down on the bed.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to leave it out...Thanks for bringing it in..." Jake said and walked over to the case. About that time Lucas returned with a blanket and threw it on Jake.

"There ya go...Good to go now?" Lucas asked and sat down on the bed.

"Good night you two, be ready for a busy day tomorrow," Mrs. Vadikson said and took her leave.

Lucas yelled a good night back to his mother then looked back at Jake, "Everything OK?"

Jake looked at Lucas and gave a weak smile, "Yeah...just a bit ...strange I guess"

Lucas smirked at the bear, "Well, my house doesn't have a lot of privacy...sorry."

"Don't be...I think this place is great. You are always close to your family, unlike at my house where we all have our separate areas where we can spend time alone and not speak for days..." Jake said with a laugh, and walked over and sat down on the bed. Jake lied down and put the blanket over him.

Lucas got up and moved around the room; "Be right back..." he said and left the room.

Jake heard a door close and looked up. Lucas had gone to the bathroom he guessed. Jake covered himself up and got comfortable. Jake thought about the wolf and his life, and thought it was a good life. After a few minutes he heard Lucas walking back.

"OK..." Lucas said and closed the door to his room.

Jake looked over at Lucas, who was in his boxers, and quickly looked away again.

Lucas laughed at the bear and lied down on the bed, and covered himself up. He turned the lamp off and they lay there for a few minutes in silence. Lucas could hear Jake shifting on his side of the bed and looked over at his direction in, "Everything ok?"

The shifting stopped and Lucas thought Jake was looking back at him, "Yeah...sorry," Jake replied. After that more time passed as the two lay in the bed, neither one saying anything.

Lucas rolled onto his side, facing the bear, and reached out his paw; touching Jake's stomach. He felt Jake tense up quickly, but just as quickly he relaxed to Lucas's touch. Lucas kept his hand on the bear for a moment then decided to talk, "Ya' know...we don't have to be so awkward," Lucas said and heard Jake laugh, and he could feel the vibrations in the bear's chest.

"Sorry...I guess it's just a bit weird..." Jake said and placed his paw on top of Lucas's.

Lucas smiled in the darkness, "Yeah...but I guess we can't exactly just do whatever we want with others around..."

"Yeah, but it really sucks..." Jake said, but felt like the last part was too whiney and tried to rephrase it, "I mean...it could be worse..."

Lucas chuckled at the bear, "No, you were right. It sucks..." he said and was silent for a moment. Lucas gently scratched at the bear's stomach and began to talk again, "So...this is a good example of a difficult time in our relationship I guess?"

Jake pressed his paw harder against Lucas's, "Well, a time when we have to be more discreet...Lucas," Jake began and felt a bit sad, "are you OK with no one knowing?"

"Yeah...I mean it makes it difficult sometimes, but I don't mind. Why? Do you?"

"No, but I just think that it could be easier sometimes...but," Jake said and let the words trail off.

"Then it could be harder at times too?" Lucas asked, finishing the bear's thought.

Jake nodded, then realized that Lucas couldn't see that, "Yeah...so I was just wondering it you're OK with this..."

Lucas moved closer to Jake now and pulled on the bear's shirt, and Jake rolled over onto the wolf. Lucas could now see the bear's outline, and ran his paws over the bear, "I'm OK with it...besides it's not like we could do too much here anyway...thin walls..."

Jake smiled down at the wolf and felt Lucas run his hands down his back. He looked at the wolf and could see Lucas's green eyes in the darkness, "Well, can we do anything?"

Lucas chuckled at the bear and pulled him into a tight embrace, "I guess...we can do this..." Lucas said and pulled Jake into a kiss. He heard Jake moan into the kiss and he felt the bear's body press down on his.

Jake rubbed against the wolf and felt his member begin to stir, but as soon as the kiss began, it ended. Jake heard the door opening and quickly rolled off the wolf to his side of the bed and pretended to be asleep. Jake cracked one of his eyes open and could see a shadow standing in the door, and then the shadow closed the door and walked away.

After a moment Lucas turned over and put a hand on the bear, "Sorry Big-Guy, don't think it'll be easy to be alone..."

Jake turned around and nuzzled the wolf, "That's OK, just being with you is enough..."

Lucas smiled at the bear and petted his head, "Suck up,"

Jake laughed a little and continued to nuzzle against Lucas, but after a few minutes Lucas pulled away.

"OK...we should get some sleep..." he said and turned around in the bed, his back to the bear.

Jake sighed and turned around also. He had trouble getting to sleep, and when he did fall asleep he woke up many times. It wasn't unpleasant; he listened to the wolf sleep, and would fall back asleep within a few minutes.

The morning came quickly, and Jake woke up to Lucas's father calling them, "OK guys time to get up!" he yelled, making Jake jump.

Lucas stirred a bit and sat up in bed, "Geez...I miss my alarm clock already..."

"Haha..." Mr. Vadikson said and began to walk out of the room, "Well, get up. I'll be outside working. We have a busy day."

Jake groaned and sat up, "He wakes people up like my dad does..."

Lucas got out of the bed and began to pull on a shirt, "Oh, good, I thought my dad was the only who was this cruel waking people up..." Lucas moved to a drawer and pulled out a pair of shorts. He put them on and looked back at Jake, "Get ready... 'we have a busy day,' or so it appears..."

Jake got out of the bed, "I'm ready..." he replied with a yawn and walked towards the door.

Lucas laughed a bit, "Are you serious? Don't you want to change...you're wearing pants, and its gonna be hot."

Jake smirked a bit, "I'll be fine..." he said and walked out of the room. Jake went to the door and walked outside, the sun was just coming up, but Mr. Vadikson was sweating and already hard at work. Jake walked up behind him, "What need to be done?"

"Well," Mr. Vadiskon said with a grunt, "I started a big project a while ago, and I need someone to be able to dig a hole. I want to make a pond out here, maybe put in a waterfall too, or some fish..."

Jake nodded, "Sounds cool...and like a hard project..."

Mr.Vadikson stood up now and looked Jake over, "You can do it, oh, and before I forget; thank-you for helping in the first place. This is supposed to be ya'll's break,...are you sure you want to help?"

Jake laughed a bit, "Yeah, not like I would be doing anything if I didn't help...so you want me to dig the hole? How deep Mr. Vadikson?"

"That's what I like to hear," Mr. Vadikson said as he threw a shovel at Jake, "and I told you; please call me Phil. I would like the hole to be atleast seven feet...ten at most..."

Jake looked at the ground and tapped it with the shovel, "OK...it looks like you've already done some of the work..."

"Yeah I got down two feet..." Mr. Vadikson said and stopped when he saw Lucas walk out, "Oh, how nice of you to join us...."

Lucas walked outside with a yawn, "Yeah, yeah...so what death project have you started now?"

"A fountain," Phil responded.

"Oh, cool...So what's my job?" Lucas asked.

"Jake is on the hole, I'm going to run to town to get some supplies, and I expect you to put together the pump..." he replied.

Lucas looked around and gave a confused look, "What pump?"

Phil gave a grin and nodded toward the garage, "in the garage...oh and be careful...its heavy."

"Joy..." Lucas said as he walked off. He looked back and saw Jake begin to dig, putting his weight down on the shovel. Jake walked into the garage and saw a huge box, and opened it. Inside there were instructions, but sadly they weren't even in English. Lucas ran out of the garage with the papers and ran for his dad, but he had already driven away. "Great...how am I supposed to make since of this?"

"What's the problem?" Jake asked with a grunt as he threw a pile of dirt out of the hole.

"These... 'directions' aren't in English...I mean, that's just mean!"

"Give 'em here..." Jake said and wiped his hands off on his jeans. He grabbed the instructions and looked them over, "Well, they are in Espanol...lo siento. No sabes no como leer espanol?"

Lucas looked at the bear with a dumb look, "Dude...I don't even know what you said..."

Jake laughed a bit and handed the sheet back to Lucas, "I'll be your translator...finally five years of Spanish and two trips to Spain might come in handy..." he said with a laugh then looked back at the wolf, "First; get all the parts out of the box, and put them in order as the picture dictates...that should take you a bit in itself." Jake said and returned to digging.

Lucas grabbed the paper and grumbled as he walked back to the garage. He looked at the box and let out a sigh and began to pull out the parts. After pulling out the first part he realized just how many parts there were, and how long it was going to take to put them in their proper places.

The day passed slowly and painfully. Jake sweated as the sun came crashing down on him in the now deep hole. Within a few hours he had managed to get down to his waist, but the earth was getting hard and it was becoming difficult to break the surface, and there were a lot of rocks in his way. Jake sat down in the hole, letting the shade cover him and looked up at the sky. It was a good day.

Lucas was in the garage with his father, who had come back after an hour and had bought almost a hundred feet of tubing. In the hours they had been working they had managed to put together a main part of the pump and had thought they almost had the suction part when Lucas pointed that they missed a bolt; meaning they had to start over on that part. Lucas was panting and sweating, the garage had no AC and no breeze came into it that day, he took off his shirt and returned to the work.

After a few minutes Jake heard someone coming up to the hole, "How's the progress going?"

Jake stood up and wiped the sweat from his brow, "Good, I've got the entire hole down to my waist..." he said and looked at the progress. The hole was a circle with a diameter of about twenty feet. By the time they were done it would be a crater in their yard. Jake looked back at Phil, "I hate to ask but do you have a mattock or something that I can use to break the ground?"

"Good job Kid, but get out of the hole for now," Phil said and held out a paw to help the bear, "And yeah, I'll get it for you after we eat."

Jake took the paw and got out of the hole. He walked with the wolf into the garage where Lucas was fiddling around with a screwdriver. He looked up and saw Jake and smiled, "Hey Big-Guy...how goes the hole?"

"Well...it goes..." Jake said with a sigh.

"OK...take off your shoes Jake...Mrs. Vadikson would have my head if I let you take those inside..." Phil said as he walked to the door.

Lucas followed suit and entered the house after his father. Jake took off his shoes and walked into the house, where the AC was a welcome reliever. Inside Phil offered Jake a glass of water, which he graciously accepted and downed quickly. Jake sat down at the table and looked at Lucas.

Lucas wasn't sweating as much as Jake but he was damp, and the bear found himself staring at the wolf. Lucas sat down at the table too and saw that Jake was staring at him, so he snapped his fingers. Jake looked up at the wolf and mouthed something to the wolf. Lucas guessed it was a sorry, and waved his hand; dismissing the matter. Lucas's dad came over and set down a few things; there was fruit, meat, bread, and what could only be assumed as a cheese of some sort.

"OK...let's dig in," Phil said and began to pick at the bread, "I want to be out there in an hour or so..."

Jake nodded and grabbed an apple, biting in to it and looking over the rest of the food, deciding what to eat next.

Lucas looked at his father, "That pump is a pain, oh...and since me and Jake aren't doing anything...do you want us to work on this project while you're not here...you have a regular schedule this week, right?"

Mr. Vadikson nodded and swallowed, "Yep, I have to go in the next three days...but on Saturday I'll be home, when do ya'll plan to leave?"

Lucas looked over at Jake, "Jake?"

"Well, I think Sunday would be OK...since the drive isn't near as bad from here, and classes don't start back till Thursday." Jake replied.

"Why so soon?" Phil asked, "Can't you stay till Wednesday then?"

"Well, I'll need to leave on Sunday...I have some business to take care of back at the school..." Jake said.

"Business? What business?" Lucas asked, wondering what Jake had planned.

"Nothing...just some papers that I need to clear up with someone..." Jake said, trying to be as vague as possible. He glanced over at Lucas and tried to communicate the message.

Lucas saw that Jake wanted the topic dropped and did so. The meal passed quickly and after sitting around and talking they went back out. The rest of the day passed the same, and by the time the sun was going down they began to stop.

Jake planted the mattock into the ground and looked at his progress. It was defiantly a hard job; he had only gotten another foot done in these hours, due to a huge rock he had hit. The rock was almost a hundred pounds and Jake had to ask Lucas to help him move it out of the hole.

"Time to get out of the dirt..." Lucas said and extended a paw to Jake.

Jake took the paw and slowly rose from the hole. He grunted as he stretched and looked in the garage. The pump was coming along, it seemed like all that was left was to program it.

They walked into the house and diner was soon served. Jake enjoyed it; everyone sat down together and talked about the day. Ana was talking about her day at school, and Mrs. Vadikson about one of her clients who had been a pain, "...not to mention the cuts that they are doing..." she said, and the mood at the table got quiet very quickly. Jake noticed this but Mrs. Vadikson looked over at Jake, "What did you do today?"

"Well, I guess I butchered your yard..." he said, not really sure what else to say. To his surprise Mrs. Vadikson laughed really hard at this, even Phil laughed and Jake looked over at Lucas, who was staring back confused too.

After she stopped laughing she looked back, "Sorry...that was funny I thought."

Jake laughed a bit, and the conversations continued. After diner was over Jake followed Lucas into his room where they stood around for a bit, and Lucas looked over at the bear. "You might want to get a shower..."

Jake looked himself over and laughed, "Yeah...maybe...don't you want to go first?"

Lucas shook his head, "I'll use my parent's...towels are hanging off the rack," he said as he left the room.

Jake stood around for a minute before heading off to take a shower. The shower was hot and Jake made sure to clean over his hands well and to wash his face. He watched as the water turned red from the dirt coming off him. After he was done he stepped out and quickly dried off, then dressed. Jake choose a white shirt and some wind pants. It didn't matter what season or weather, he always had on pants of some type, but Lucas encouraged him to change up his wardrobe. He smiled as he thought about this and walked out of the bathroom. To his surprise Lucas was already done and waiting for him.

Lucas had finished his shower quickly and was sitting on his bed when Jake came out. Lucas had on black shorts and a gray wife beater. He looked at the bear and nodded, then lied down. It wasn't late, but they had decided to work tomorrow too, so they were going to sleep early. Jake lied down beside him and they both lay there for a moment.

"You were right...your father is a slave driver..." Jake said with a sigh.

Lucas laughed and propped himself up, "Told ya'...Sorry we're not exactly spending tons of time together..." Lucas said in an apologetic tone.

Jake chuckled a bit, "Not a problem...I enjoy working...it's...fun in some ways. I think its cool..."

Lucas smiled back at the bear, "You say that the first day...we'll see..."

Jake smirked back at the wolf, "Hey, I did 'real' work today. I wasn't fooling around with a screwdriver."

"Hey...it's hard work..." Lucas said in a playfully hurt tone, then he heard the door open and Ana came in, followed by Mr. Vadikson. Lucas looked as they entered and caught Ana when she jumped up, "Hey you two...What are ya'll up to?"

"Daddy said he was coming in here so I followed him," Ana said in a high pitched tone.

"Oh...so you didn't come in here to see me?" Lucas asked and put on a sad face for his sister.

"No..." she replied and laughed.

Jake laughed at this and then Mr. Vadikson began to talk, "OK tomorrow I'll be here till twelve then I have to work,"

"OK...and Mom will come home at one, and then Ana at three or so...and yada yada, right?" Lucas asked.

"Yeah, 'yada yada'," his father replied, then continued, "So I hope you can finish the pump without me and start on the tubing," he said then turned to Jake, "And you get as far as you can...if it gets too hard just stop, and wait for help."

Jake nodded, "Yes sir, but I don't think I'll need help...unless I hit another huge rock..."

Lucas looked over at Jake, "Arrogant."

"Not arrogant just better than you!" Jake said and stuck his tongue out at Lucas.

Lucas laughed and so did Ana. He looked back at his father, "OK...sounds easy enough...you can count on us."

"Good. Well, come on Ana, let them go to sleep," Phil said and gestured Ana over, who ran and grabbed onto her father's leg, "Good night boys." Mr. Vadikson said and closed the door and turned off the light.

Jake lied down on the bed, "Well, I hope this doesn't sound rude, but your dad is really straight forward. I mean, he's really cool, too so don't get me wrong." Jake said.

Lucas laughed, "Yeah...he's usually got that tone to him, but I'm really lucky to be part of this family..." Lucas replied in a thoughtful way.

Jake propped up on his shoulder, "Hey, Lucas..." he began and tried not to sound assertive, "can you tell me about your adoption and what not?"

Lucas was surprised by the bear's question and looked up at him, "Why?"

"Well, just how you talked back then, and how when you first told me you were adopted...I guess I'm just curious...of course you don't have to tell me...I'm sorry; I know it's a personal request." Jake said, slightly sorry he had asked.

"Jake,...'personal request'?" Lucas asked with a laugh, "I think we're close enough for it not to sound weird...and yeah, this is good, I meant to tell you one day anyway..." Lucas said.

"OK...well if you wouldn't mind..." Jake said.

OK...well," Lucas began, "like I said before; I was a pup when they adopted me, but I have a vague memory of it...I was probably Ana's age. I don't know why I was up for adoption, and I've never learned...no desire to either. When I was young the thought of finding my biological family drove me quiet a bit, but now; I realize my family is perfect how it is...and if I'm honest; I'm happy I was."

"My parents adopted me because they had trouble having children...for some reason they just couldn't have one, so they adopted me...I asked them why they choose me and they said I reminded them of someone special; my dad's dad, of course now that the melanin disorder is really kicking in, that is a bit off now. When they adopted me I had a grayish coat, and about when I was ten was when I learned about the disorder, but that's not really important. They said my eyes were like his..."

"Growing up was difficult at times," Lucas said and then moved closer to Jake, "...I remember always feeling guilty that they had adopted me; not sure why. I remember always being shy at family gatherings and once during a family photo I said I shouldn't be in it...My parents were shocked. They never knew I never really felt like part of the family, and I can still remember the talk about how I am just as close as blood to them...for some reason it took me till I was a teenager to finally get that in my head. After that I was happy, I finally realized that all this time I had a mother, no matter if she gave birth to me, and a father, who was always there for me...So sometime in my teenage years I finally called my mother 'Mom' and my dad 'Dad' and its been that way ever since."

"My parents don't make tons of money and sometimes still struggle to make ends meet; as I'm sure you caught on with my mother at dinner tonight, but luckily I was smart enough to get into college on my own, and all they do is pay for some other things, and with Ana now things are a bit tougher, but we've always done well. My dad is working on something at work and if it all goes well then he will apparently get a raise, but that could be another year. My mom's work is more constant, and she does what she can. They did their best to give me a good life...and they have. Still... it can be tough at times; we've all had to make sacrifices at one time or another..."

"Even now...how they have just accepted me is still so strange to me,...I can never repay the kindness, and they don't want me to in any way either...they say that we're family and we stick together...that my being happy is a repayment...I mean, being adopted isn't really a big deal I guess...I love my parents as a child loves his or her biological parents. To me they are blood." Lucas finished and looked over at Jake, "Good enough?"

Jake nodded, "Yeah, thanks..."

"No problem...thank you too...you're the first person I've told that, or at least most of that...and it helps to talk about that kind of stuff..." Lucas replied, and moved closer to Jake again, so that now they were touching.

Jake kept his eyes on the wolf and slowly moved his mouth closer to Lucas's before pressing his lips to the wolf's. Jake kept his mouth to the wolf's for a moment then pulled away, judging for a reaction.

Lucas moved his hand up to Jake's stomach and began to rub it gently and moved to kiss the bear again. Lucas slowly moved onto the bear and felt Jake pull him closer and let out a low moan. The kiss grew, but sadly, as before a noise outside made them part and the door opened a crack. Lucas acted like the noise had woken him up and looked at who was in the door; it was his father. "Yeah?" he asked in a half-real, half-fake tired tone.

"Can we talk?" his father asked.

"Sure..." Lucas said and feared his father may have seen them somehow. Lucas got up and went outside his room, where he closed the door. "What's up?" he asked. Lucas noticed that his mother was behind his father. A bad feeling slowly rose in his gut but he tried to push it away.

"Well," his father began, "We may have a bit of trouble with your schooling..."

Lucas looked at his father curiously, "What sort of trouble?"

"Nothing academic...but the cost of dorms for next year has risen, along with food..., and..." his father said, obviously angry about the words, "well, with Ana's schooling too...I don't think we can afford to send you to the same college next year...I'm-" he said but stopped when Lucas interrupted.

"Yeah...I get it..." he said, hurt but not trying to show it.

"Sweetie..." his mother said, trying to comfort him.

"I get it, really!" he said, and stopped, surprised at his tone, "It's...just..." Lucas said and couldn't find any words, feeling tears building up. Suddenly he remembered when Jake had asked him to move in with him, but he couldn't bring that up, his parents wouldn't accept it; they would think it was a charity, even though it wasn't anything close. Lucas was glad the tears didn't fall, but was still upset.

It's not that he was surprised, as he had just told Jake; they had some money troubles sometimes. It was the idea of what it meant for him and Jake that made him sad, and slightly angry. Lucas looked up at his parents, trying his best to keep a strong face for their sake, and for his own.

"Son-" Mr. Vadikson began but stopped when Jake opened the door.

Jake looked around and then away, "Sorry...umm bathroom..." he said and was mouthing something to himself afterwards. Jake looked back up at the wolves and began to stutter, "I'm sorry...it's not my place but," Jake stopped for a moment and looked at Lucas, hoping for a sign. He saw Lucas give a small smile back, "...I overheard ya'll just now," Jake began and looked back at the family. Lucas seemed calm but he felt the parent's looks more seriously. He swallowed and looked in their eyes.

Jake felt himself losing his words but stopped for a moment and took a breath, and then looked back at Lucas and smiled, then back at the two other wolves, "Lucas will live with me. I have an apartment with more than enough room," Jake said but then stopped realizing he had more said it as a command, "umm...if that's ok with ya'll."

Lucas watched his parents for a reaction. His father looked back at his mother and they stared at each other for a long time. Then his father looked back at Jake, "Thank you, but we won't accept charit-"

"It's not charity..." Jake broke in and then realized he had interrupted the wolf, and saw the father had a frown on his face. Jake continued though, "I mean he can help around the place, and you guys said dorms are just getting more expensive...I never said it was free...ya'll could pay me if ya'll wanted to," Jake said in a joking manner then looked back more seriously, "But...Lucas is my friend and I am going to help in any way that I can, not to mention...we hang out all the time have the same schedule. In truth if me and Lucas aren't hanging out then we're sleeping...so actually me and him living together would be a smart move both financially and academically..." Jake tried to finish by saying something logical.

Jake finished and looked at the parents. The father's frown was still there, but Jake could see he was considering it. Mr. Vadikson looked at Jake, "We will talk with Lucas. Alone."

Jake looked down at the ground, "Sorry, I didn't mean to over step my line as a guest..." and then walked back into the room.

Lucas waited till Jake left then looked at his parents, "Well? You guys heard him, and before you guys say he did that just because he overheard us... what he didn't tell you is that he had considered that before break too," Lucas said, then stopped and looked down at the ground. He was starting to mix up romance with his financial life.

"Why would he ask that before break? He wouldn't have a reason to..." Mrs. Vadikson said and pondered.

Lucas cut in before his mother could really think about it, "Because we're best friends and as he said we hang out all the time...we study together, work out together, play games together, almost everything..." Lucas said and tried to make it sound like it was still only a friendship.

"Let's talk..." Mr. Vadikson said and they walked to the kitchen.

After almost two hours Lucas was able to convince his parents that it would be ok for him to move in with Jake. Lucas hugged both his parents around their necks, "Thank you guys so much!" then pulled away.

"We just said 'yes.' We still want to talk with Jake about it too," Mr. Vadikson said, trying to remain stern.

Lucas hugged his dad, "Yeah, yeah, I know," he said and felt his dad hug him back. Lucas realized that his dad was upset at the moment.

"Sorry, we can't provide for you all the time Son," his voice almost breaking.

Lucas hugged a bit harder, "It's no problem. I'm lucky to have parents who love me this much...even though you have no reason to. Ya'll have given me a home, a good life, love, and a family. Ya'll have made me into the person I am now and everything I am is thanks to ya'll...I love you guys more than you'll ever know."

His father pulled away now and wiped his eyes, which were a bit red. After he rubbed his eyes he looked back at Lucas, "Go to bed, I still want you to work tomorrow."

Lucas hugged his mother then began to walk back to his room, "Slave driver..." he said jokingly and walked down the hall. Once he entered the room he found Jake was not asleep, but was sitting propped up in bed watching the ceiling fan run. Lucas walked over and Jake jumped up once he realized the wolf had returned.

"Lucas!" Jake almost yelled as he popped out of his trance.

"Hey..." Lucas said and looked into Jake's eyes.

Jake felt the look and stared back into the wolf's eyes, "...Is everything OK...I can't lose you Lucas. I won't..." Jake said, fearing the worst.

Lucas smiled at the bear and felt his eyes water for a moment at the words, "Don't worry Jake...I'm not going anywhere."

Jake jumped off the bed and embraced the wolf, picking Lucas up off his feet and spinning him in his arms. He did this for a moment before stopping and holding Lucas in his arms and looking Lucas in the eyes. Jake held onto the wolf, still keeping him off the ground. He felt his eyes water a bit.

Lucas stared back at the bear; Jake's goofy grin covering his face. It felt like the smile was radiating onto him also. Lucas smiled back at the bear, returned the hug, and dug his head into the bear's chest. Lucas rubbed his head into the bear's chest. They kept like this for a few minutes and then Lucas looked up at Jake, "Of course my parents will want to talk with you..." Lucas said with a smile.

"...Yeah, no problem..." Jake said and felt a few tears run down his face, "Sorry...I'm crying..." he said with a smile and laugh.

Lucas laughed at the bear, "I think I'll make an exception this time Big-Guy..."

Jake pulled Lucas closer and kissed the wolf suddenly and deeply. Jake felt Lucas pull at him too, and return the kiss. This time the kiss went uninterrupted and Lucas broke it after a moment. Jake loosened his grip on the wolf and looked down at Lucas. He put his nose on the wolf's, his grin still on his muzzle. He slowly put Lucas back down, "Ok...that's cool...so..." Jake said and let the words trail off.

"I'll be right back..." Lucas said and ran out of the room.

Jake wondered where the wolf went, but this was eased by the fact that everything was OK. It wasn't how Jake had planned it, but now Lucas moving in with him held something more to it. Jake sat down on the bed, and returned to watching the ceiling fan. After a few minutes Lucas returned.

"OK...everyone in the house is asleep." Lucas said as he walked over to Jake.

"Why did you want to chec- Oh,..." Jake stopped himself.

Lucas chuckled at the bear, "You can be so innocent sometimes...then I remember who I'm dealing with...," he said as he sat next to the bear.

Jake nuzzled the wolf, "Who are you dealing with?" Jake asked in a joking manner.

Lucas smiled down at the bear and petted his head, "An amazing person, who is strong, gentle, and there for me..."

Jake blushed at the wolf's praise. He moved up to Lucas's head and slowly kissed the wolf, running his hands over the wolf. Jake began to lie down, pulling Lucas with him and kissing the wolf deeply. Jake moaned into the kiss and felt Lucas run his hands to his head; Jake lifted his head and let Lucas put his hands under his head.

Lucas pulled away from the kiss and looked at Jake, "Thanks...for everything," he said with a smile.

Jake returned the smile and nuzzled along the wolf's neck. Jake stopped for a moment and nipped at Lucas's neck-making the wolf above him squirm. This made Jake laugh a bit too. Jake stopped after a bit and looked back at Lucas, and then felt Lucas pull on his head, bringing him into another kiss.

Lucas pulled on Jake's head, kissing the bear as deeply as he could; enjoying a kiss that could go uninterrupted. Lucas began to run his hands over the bear and pulled on the bear every little bit, making Jake moan. He felt Jake roll over, switching their positions and then felt Jake break the kiss. Lucas looked up at the bear and tried to move, but realized that Jake had pinned him down. He managed to get his hands free, but before he could do anything with them Jake grabbed them and pushed them onto the bed. Lucas looked up at Jake and gave a smile, "What now Big-guy?"

Jake smiled and looked down at the wolf, "I think I'll just admire the view..." Jake replied as he looked Lucas in the eyes.

Lucas moved a bit under the bear, but didn't try to escape. The bear's warmth flowing into him, Lucas always enjoyed being near the bear. He stared back into Jake's eyes. It was weird, but not in a bad way. They did this often but every time it felt like it was the first time. Lucas felt like he was beginning to understand what Jake meant when he said the eyes were a gate. The look continued for a bit, but as quickly as it came it passed. Lucas pushed his head up and kissed Jake by surprise then let his head fall back onto the bead. He grinned up at the bear, waiting for Jake to make a move.

Jake smiled at Lucas and pushed his muzzle down onto the wolf's; his tongue running over Lucas's. He pushed down on the wolf and began to move his body along the wolf's too. The kiss continued for a moment before Jake quickly broke it in an instant, a small trail of saliva in between them. Jake released Lucas's hands and looked down at the wolf. Jake lifted his body up a bit and moved his hands to the wolf's chest, and slowly lifted at the wolf's shirt.

Lucas allowed the bear to take off his shirt and quickly returned the favor. After Jake's shirt was gone Lucas moved his hands over the bear's chest and down to his stomach, rubbing the bear sensually, and making Jake give a low moan. Lucas moved his head up and began to lick at Jake's chest; Lucas worked his way to the 'V' pattern on Jake's chest. Lucas began to nip at the fur on Jake's chest and would pull on the bear's fur, making Jake groan in pleasure. After a moment Lucas felt a hand on his head pull him away. Lucas looked up at the bear with a puzzled look, "Something wrong?" he asked with a sly grin as he continued to rub the bear's stomach.

Jake was breathing a bit deeper and looked down at the wolf. He was about to respond when he felt Lucas's paw move down to his pants. Jake tensed for a moment and felt Lucas slowly bring down his pants, and push them off the bear's legs.

Lucas moved his head down to the bear's briefs and pushed his muzzle into the bear's underwear, the smell filling his head. Lucas continued this and pulled on the bear's balls through the cloth. Lucas could hear Jake giving low moans above him and pulled away and gave a small chuckle. He lightly stroked the bear's cock through the cloth, watching as the bear above him writhed. Lucas moved his head up the bear's body and kissed the bear below his navel. He moved his head down to where Jake's cock was making a wet spot in his underwear and licked it. He heard the bear above him give a light whimper and Lucas stopped, "You enjoying yourself Big-guy?"

Jake gave a moan as Lucas continued to lick around his cock, but didn't respond to the wolf. When he didn't he felt Lucas tug on his balls, making Jake give a whimper and shake a bit. "Stop with the teasing Lucas," he said in a slight growl.

Lucas grinned at Jake's response and tugged on Jake's balls again, getting the same response. Lucas saw that the wet spot in the bear's briefs was getting bigger, and he could hear Jake's breathes. He felt the bear above him shake a bit and continued to tease Jake. "Does my big bear want something?" Lucas asked in a playful tone.

Jake moaned as the wolf's hands moved to his chest and pulled harder on his chest fur. Jake hated to admit it, but he loved the wolf's teasing. He guessed it was just one of Lucas's ways of being the dominant one; which made Jake happy whenever Lucas was assertive. Something about being denied touch made Jake more excited and he knew the wolf enjoyed this. Jake enjoyed having to be submissive to the wolf, and he knew Lucas was enjoying it just as much. Jake may have told Lucas to stop the teasing, which he didn't, but he also encouraged it. "You," Jake finally responded to the wolf through a low whimper.

Lucas stopped suddenly and moved up to Jake's face, "Oh, I liked that answer," he said with a grin and kissed the bear deeply and quickly. Lucas pulled away and saw that Jake was blushing. After the kiss he quickly moved back down to the bear's waist and moved his hands to the bear's briefs. Lucas slid the bear's underwear off and saw the bear's cock bobbing in front of his muzzle. Lucas licked the bear's cock, making Jake moan. Lucas began to lap at the bear's cock and balls, bathing the bear with his tongue and the bear's scent entering his mouth. Lucas heard Jake begin to groan above him and he licked along the bear's cock to the tip then took it into his muzzle-causing Jake to let out a deep moan.

Jake moaned as the wolf's tongue bathed his cock. Slowly Jake began to move back and forth in the wolf's mouth-Lucas being on the edge of the bed. It was a good position and Jake was soon thrusting into the wolf at a steady rhythm. The tongue moving along his cock sent waves of pleasure through his body and the warm muzzle enveloping his member made him give low moans. Jake slowed his pace and began to thrust more slowly into the wolf, but also more deeply. He tried not to go too deep; not sure if Lucas enjoyed to deepthroat as he did, or if the wolf could. Jake felt the wolf's hands move up to his ass and slowly push Jake forward. Jake felt the wolf's throat envelope his cock and let out clenched his eyes shut at the feeling.

Lucas fought back his gag reflex and did his best to breathe normally. He took his hands off the bear's butt and felt the cock move out of his throat, and Jake pulled back until only the tip was in the wolf. Lucas moved his head up and wrapped his tongue around the bear's cock, but didn't move his head. He heard the bear above him whimper, and thought that Jake was about to cum.

Jake was still for a moment, fighting off his orgasm from the wolf's work. He felt the wolf's tongue wrap around his cock and let out whimper, fighting back his orgasm and the urge to thrust into the wolf's muzzle. After the feeling of his orgasm passed over Jake slowly pushed back into the wolf's muzzle, and tried to breathe normally.

Lucas let out a moan as the bear's cock began to move again. Lucas could taste the pre as Jake's cock twitched in his mouth and more shot out. He thought that Jake wouldn't last much longer, the bear's breathes becoming shorter again. Lucas moved his head back and rested it on the bed, letting the bear do what he wanted, but still played with the bear-pulling on his fur. Sometimes he would deepthroat the bear, Lucas's nose burying into the bear.

Jake tried to control his pace, not wanting to release just yet. Jake let out low moans every time Lucas would pull on his fur, and would push down on the wolf in return. Jake wanted to keep himself from cumming yet, but found that Lucas's treatment was making it very hard. He continued for a few minutes before he felt his orgasm coming again. Jake let out a low growl and tried to keep it back; pulling out of Lucas's mouth.

Lucas realized Jake was close, as his breaths grew short, and felt Jake's cock twitching and shooting more pre into his mouth. Lucas let out a moan as the bear pulled out, but didn't leave the bear alone. When Jake pulled out Lucas began to lap at the bear's cock. He heard Jake's growl grow louder and could feel the bear's cock pulsing on his tongue. The bear above him began to shake as he came, some of the cum landing in the wolf's mouth; but most on Lucas's face. Lucas continued to lap at the bear's cock throughout the orgasm; trying to get as much as he could into his mouth. Lucas wrapped his tongue around bear's cock, in front of his face, twitching as the last of Jake's orgasm finished.

Jake suppressed his roar, but the growl was louder than normal. He shook as Lucas lapped at his cock throughout the orgasm, and continued to fight a roar. After his orgasm faded Jake was panting and his cock was still twitching. He felt the wolf's tongue wrapped around his member and pushed slowly in and out for a moment before Lucas stopped. Jake rolled over on the bed onto his back and lay panting. Lucas moved up on top of him and Jake smiled when he saw the wolf, "You're a mess..."

Lucas frowned at Jake playfully, "Well, if you hadn't tried to stop me I wouldn't look like this..." he said.

Jake moved his head up and licked off some of his cum from the wolf, licking Lucas above his eye, "I don't mind a mess," he replied as he rolled some of the cum around in his mouth.

"You just had to try and stop yourself..." Lucas said with a sigh.

"Sorry, I'm not as good as you at holding back," Jake said in mock anger, and looked back and smiled at the wolf, "I really envy you for that."

Lucas blushed at Jake and looked away and felt the bear begin to vibrate and Jake laughing loudly. Lucas looked back and put his finger to his mouth.

"Sorry," Jake said in a whisper, "It's just funny...you never blush," he finished and licked at Lucas's muzzle again. Instead of pulling away Jake traced the wolf's muzzle with his tongue to the front of Lucas's mouth.

Lucas opened his mouth and let the bear in, kissing Jake in return. Lucas could taste the bear's cum as he ran his tongue along the bear's and vice versa. He heard Jake let out a moan and wrap his arms around him. Lucas pushed down on Jake, and moved his hands up to Jake's face; and began to stroke the bear's face.

Jake felt Lucas's hands run gently over his face and loosened his embrace on the wolf; resting his hands on the wolf's back. Jake let out a low whimper as the wolf continued to stroke his face. He found that Lucas was pushing down on him and could feel the wolf's member through his shorts, but that didn't matter for the moment.

Lucas could feel Jake's fur on his, and tried to push his chest further onto the bear's. As the kiss continued Lucas traced the bear's mouth, playing with the bear's tongue also. He ran across where he had hit the bear and could feel the flesh, the wound had closed and was almost completely healed. He moved a hand to the same place where he had hit the bear and pressed his hand to the bear's muzzle, and heard Jake give a low moan-nuzzling against his hand. The kiss continued for a few minutes, the two letting their tongues intertwine, and then Lucas broke it. He looked down at the bear and smiled.

Jake opened his eyes and stared at the wolf, but didn't say anything. He then looked down the wolf's body to the wolf's shorts. He moved his hands down Lucas's back and to his shorts. Jake pushed his hands into the wolf's shorts and past his boxers. He heard Lucas give a light growl above him and looked back up. Lucas was giving a grin and began to rub the bear's chest. Jake smiled at the wolf, "My hands are a bit squeezed in there..."

"Well then I guess you should do something about it," Lucas replied and lightly pulled on Jake's fur.

Jake groaned and moved his chest up as the wolf pulled on his fur. He took his hands out of Lucas's shorts and moved his hands to the bands that the belt would go through. Jake pulled on this and heard Lucas give a confused grunt as he moved up on the bear. Jake smiled and patted the wolf's leg, "Don't worry, I'm just doing something about it..." he replied.

Lucas found himself sitting on the bear's waist, but just above his sheath and balls. He guessed at what Jake was trying to do, but didn't say anything; instead continuing to play with Jake's fur. After a moment he felt Jake move his hand off his leg and to his stomach.

Jake slowly moved his hand down Lucas's stomach, barley touching the wolf; making Lucas shiver a bit. He got to the button and quickly undid it, and then slowly let down the zipper. He felt Lucas begin to try and get up above him, but he stopped him by putting his hand back on the wolf's leg. Jake pushed the cloth away and moved his hand into the wolf's shorts, playing with the wolf's balls through his boxers. He heard Lucas give a moan and increased his pressure, making the wolf above him shake. Jake pulled his hand away and looked up at the wolf.

Lucas felt the touch fade and looked down at Jake, and could see the bear smiling at him. Lucas smiled back, "Are you teasing me?"

"Not trying to, besides, that's your job," he replied.

"Good; I wouldn't want to have to punish my big bear," Lucas said playfully and smiled at the bear's blush.

Jake didn't reply after that and moved his hand down to Lucas's boxers. He pushed one finger through the center and wrapped it around the wolf's member. He smiled as Lucas moved forward at the touch. Jake then released the grip and took his finger out of Lucas's boxers. He took his other hand and worked at the button in front of the wolf's boxers. Soon there was a large hole and Jake pushed his hand through and guided the wolf's cock out. He slowly stroked at the wolf's cock and looked up at Lucas who was closing his eyes. Jake stopped and pulled his hand away.

Lucas looked down with a frown, but let out a moan when he felt the bear's tongue wrap around his member. Lucas felt the bear quickly take his entire length into his muzzle and give low moan. Lucas could feel the bear running his tongue up and down the underside of his cock, coaxing out any pre the wolf had.

Jake ran the pre along his tongue and moaned as the flavor overtook his senses, and lust entered his body. Jake felt his member twitch in its sheath, growing hard again, but ignored it and increased his efforts on the wolf. Jake heard Lucas growl a bit and let out a low moan in return. He put his hands to the back of the wolf and pulled on him, pulling Lucas closer to him.

Lucas found himself now sitting on the bear's chest, panting as the bear's tongue circled his cock. Lucas began to move down the bear's body, taking his cock out of the bear's muzzle, but then moved back and pushed back in. This became his thrust and Jake began to bob his head in accordance. After a few minutes he felt Jake stop, and Lucas found himself thrusting into the bear. He stopped and looked down at Jake. The bear moved his head back and let the cock come out of his maw. Lucas frowned down at Jake and rested a hand on the bear's head, "What's wrong?"

"I don't like your shorts," Jake replied simply.

Lucas smiled at the bear now, "Me either," Lucas responded and ruffled the bear's head. He quickly rolled off Jake and took off his shorts, and before he could take off his boxers, felt Jake roll on top of him. A paw enveloped his cock and stroked at it and Jake suddenly planted his muzzle onto the wolf's. Lucas moaned into this and wrapped his arms around the bear; he enjoyed Jake's actions-they always seemed to put more life into both of them.

Jake pulled from the kiss after a moment and moved down to Lucas's boxers, and then pulled them off quickly. He then returned to his previous spot and lay down on his back. He looked over at Lucas who was confused for a movement but quickly got it and moved back onto him. Jake smiled and stroked at the wolf's chest and took his cock into his mouth.

Lucas moaned as the bear's muzzle enveloped his cock and the bear's tongue began to massage his member. He let Jake continue this for a few minutes and then moved.

Jake readjusted his head, now looking right up at the ceiling, but the wolf's cock was in his face. Jake licked at it and then the wolf's balls. He felt Lucas push down on him and gave a low moan as the wolf's cock filled his muzzle. Jake ran his tongue in circles around the cock, and it would spurt pre onto his tongue. Jake felt Lucas push down onto him more and found himself deepthroating the wolf. Jake moaned at the wolf's actions. He swallowed at the cock, his throat muscles enveloping the cock, and making Lucas give a loud moan.

Lucas gritted his teeth and moaned as the bear deepthroated him. He pulled back a bit and began to thrust into the bear's muzzle. Lucas slowly thrusted into the bear, his pace calm.

Jake enjoyed this pace, and every time Lucas pushed back in he let out a moan as Lucas's cock moved to his throat. Jake moved a hand down to his own cock that was now hard again, and began to stroke at his member. He felt the wolf's pace pick up slightly and Lucas move a bit. The wolf pushed his entire length into Jake and didn't move for a moment. Jake placed his other hand on the wolf's back and kept the wolf in place, and could hear Lucas moaning.

Lucas let out a moan as the bear's throat closed around his member. He felt the bear's hand on his back and stayed there for a few moments, enjoying the feeling. He pushed against the bear's hand, and felt Jake give. Lucas began to increase his pace, the pressure in his balls growing. Every few moments Jake would give a grunt and his tongue would jerk; making Lucas thrust forward with increased depth. Lucas realized that Jake was doing this because he was stroking on his own member, but before he could think more he felt his orgasm begin to surface. He began to push into the bear's muzzle, losing control of his actions. He felt his balls rise up, and let out a grunt as the first shoot came out.

Jake felt the first of Lucas's load shoot into his mouth and pushed his head further back onto the bed, so that the wolf's tip was on his tongue. Jake his tongue around the wolf's cock and could feel it pulse as the wolf shot his load. He let out a moan as his muzzle was filled with the wolf's seed. Jake continued to suck on the wolf's cock throughout the orgasm and afterwards, but continued to stroke at his own member. He rolled the wolf's cum around in his mouth, not wanting to lose it yet. Jake let out a whimper when Lucas's cock finally retreated entirely back into its sheath. Jake felt the wolf move and lay down on his chest, and Jake finally swallowed the wolf's load.

Lucas laid his head on the bear's chest, panting a bit. After a moment he realized that Jake's cock was leaking pre onto him and he moved down the bear's body again. Lucas nuzzled at the bear's member for a moment, making Jake whimper a bit, and then Lucas took the bear's cock into his muzzle. He ran his tongue along the member, still tasting some cum from the previous time, which increased his efforts.

Jake gritted his teeth and closed his eyes as the wolf quickly worked him over. He realized that he wouldn't last long. Before he knew it he was thrusting up into the wolf's muzzle again, his balls rising into his sack. He grunted and clenched at the sheets as the wolf's tongue ran along his member. Jake felt something hitting his muzzle and opened his eyes and realized that Lucas's balls were running across his muzzle. He began to lap at the wolf's balls, making Lucas give a grunt. After a moment Jake began to suck lightly on one of the wolf's balls, rolling it around in his maw.

Jake felt his orgasm coming and began to thrust quickly into Lucas's muzzle, the wolf bobbing his head in rhythm. Jake was panting onto the sack and tried to let Lucas know but only grunts came out of his mouth, and Jake knew Lucas wouldn't have moved anyway. Jake let the wolf's sack fall from his mouth and suppressed another roar from his chest.

After the bear's cock stopped pulsing Lucas swallowed the cum that had collected on his tongue. He turned around and moved up the bear's body, lying once again on Jake's chest. After a moment he looked up at Jake who was looking down at him smiling and Lucas rubbed the bear's chest. "I don't know...maybe you're just better than me when it comes to that stuff," Lucas said with a smile, referring to Jake's earlier comment.

Jake knew what Lucas was talking about and was the one to blush this time. He looked at the wolf and gave a grin, "No, everything you do to me is...pleasurable," Jake replied and kissed the wolf.

Lucas broke the kiss and chuckled at the bear's words, and then kissed Jake deeply. He could taste his own cum on the bear's tongue and knew Jake could taste his own. Lucas ran his hands down the bear's body, and pulled on Jake's side fur, making him moan. After a bit the kiss slowed down and became more passionate. The lust and fast pace was replaced with a romantic and leisurely pace, and the two moved on each other.

Jake wrapped his arms around the wolf and moved up the bed; now he was on top of Lucas and Lucas had his head on a pillow. Jake slowly rubbed his body against the wolf's, and felt Lucas returning the actions. Jake felt something cover his back and realized that Lucas was pulling the covers on them, and after that the wolf wrap his arms around the bear.

The kiss continued for a few minutes before Jake rolled off the wolf. Lucas turned over and stared at the bear, "Well, I hope no one heard any of that..." he said with a laugh.

"Yeah, but it's hard to suppress some of the sounds..." Jake said, referring to the times he felt a roar in his chest. He felt Lucas place a hand on his chest also.

"Well, we won't have to worry about that in a week I guess, but for now," Lucas said and got out of the bed, "I need to go clean up."

Jake smiled at the wolf through the darkness, "Need any help?"

"You're the reason I'm a mess anyway," Lucas replied as he walked off.

"Don't you need clothes?" Jake asked, concered if the wolf was seen.

"Nah, no one is up and the bathroom is just across..." Lucas replied and walked off.

Jake moved over to his side of the bed once Lucas was gone. He was glad that Lucas was now moving in for sure. Jake could feel the grin on his face as sleep came over him, and he nuzzled closer to the pillow that held the wolf's scent.
