When did it start. This craving. This hunger. This heat that started in the pit of his stomach and spread through his every cell, burning, aching, until it became a growl next to his ear constantly telling him to cave in.

"Hey, old man! Will you really let me eat your fingers?" the words came out of his mouth with such a natural inflection; somehow, even when he felt the taboo behind them crawling up his spine, it didn't deter him in the least. It simply felt right to let those needs out.

Heavy footsteps made his ears twitch, and out of the corner of his eye he saw the wolf run away from the group and cross the grand gate that went into an illuminated alley, filled with several stalls. For a brief second, he scoffed; for all the self-serving justice he claimed against him on stage, in the real world he preferred to look away. And it was indeed just a brief moment, as his eyes went back to the presented offer. Long, thin fingers, almost only skin and bone, with barely any real meat between the two; how could such a thing be so mouth-watering?

"Legosi!" the wolf's name made his ears twitch again, unable to ignore it any longer. The tiger stood straight again, his back muscles growing tense through the thin shirt as his fist clenched. "Hey, Legosi! Come back! Ah... Bill, maybe this is a bad idea."

This time, it was his own name that made him react. Bill turned around, his orange fur now glowing from the light coming out of the Back Alley Market. Chest pumped out and shoulders rose almost without his command, all to make himself look bigger when he stared at the eagle that had spoken before him. Tao, the smaller panther and only other club member that joined them, stepped back at the sight, trying his best to make himself look smaller. But the bird held his ground against the feline instead.

"Aoba!" he practically roared at the eagle, but got no reaction out of him. That didn't stop him. "You're gonna let that loser get to you so easy? Come on, man! If eating meat was so bad, how come all the adults do it? I'm just going with the flow of society. Once we grow up, this will be part of our lives, so we might as well start."

"Bill..."

"Come on, guys!" the tiger ignored the eagle's sigh and this time his words were aimed at the group as a whole. Noticing his own outrage, Bill crouched only enough to be at eye level with the panther. "If we all pitch in, I'm sure we can afford a finger or two. We'll have to share, but we can come any other day with more than pocket money and-

"I'm out."

Both felines were shocked by those words, and they all turned around to its source. Aoba, who had been looking at the old man sitting on the street for a while, now had his back turned to him and the market. His eyes remained on the ground, unable to meet the inquisitive gazes of his friends. Bill, probably the most surprised by this attitude, stood straight once again and stepped up to the eagle.

"The hell do you mean?"

"Listen..." for a moment, the eagle's voice broke. The usually composed Aoba was fidgeting in front of the tiger, nervously ruffling the white feathers in his hands. It visibly took him a while to gather himself enough to look his friend in the eye. "I understand why the Back Alley market exists, and why the adults eat meat in secret. Up until now, I agreed with you, thinking that we'd have to in order to hold our impulses once we grow older. And I'm not saying that won't happen either, but... I can't do it. Even knowing all that..."

"Huh?" Bill's shoulders slumped out of sheer shock. Wide open eyes stared back at the bird, neither of them backing down. Once again, his fists clenched and the only thing that kept him from throwing punches at the eagle was the memory of the beatdown he got from Legosi just a few days back. Yet, thinking of the wolf again only incensed his anger. "Are you saying you're on Legosi's side now!? You're seriously gonna listen to that loser virgin wolf!?"

"This isn't about you and Legosi anymore, Bill!" Aoba yelled; it was the first time anyone in the club heard him raise his voice, and even the tiger backed away. "Part of me does want to eat one of the fingers, ok? But the more I think about it, the more I think about everyone else in the club. We have herbivore friends, imagine if this was one of them? Could you eat one of Els' fingers?"

"I... I..." he stumbled. Pictures of the goat started forming in his mind, her smile turning into a pained scowl as her wool started dying red- Right there, Bill's eyes shut tight, and he looked away from Aoba. This time, he was the one that could no longer hold his gaze. He felt his entire body start to tremble as the images refused to abandon his mind. He didn't dare open his eyes again until he felt the soft feathers hold his hand, leaving something on his open palm. "Wha-

"This is all the money I can spare right now. I still need enough for the train fare, to go back to school," he sighed while leaving a pack of notes and coins on the tiger's hand. When Bill looked up at him again, Aoba's expression had returned to its typical neutrality. "If you honestly think you need to do this to keep yourself in check, by all means do it. If it'll keep Tem's accident from repeating, I'll try my best to understand," and with only those condescending words, he let go of the tiger's hand and walked away, back into the city's darkness and away from the Back Alley Market. "You can pay me later."

It only took a few steps before the eagle crossed a corner, and then he was out of sight. Bill and Tao stared at the spot, as if some mirage of the bird remained there, tempting them. Or perhaps expecting him to come back, regretful and apologetic. But he didn't. No matter how hard they both kept looking at the corner, nothing and no one came around again.

"Fuck- Fucking Aoba!" the tiger yelled again, shocking the panther and raising his arm in an obvious attempt to throw the money to the floor. Yet he stood quiet, arm shaking and fist clenching harder, until he felt his claws poking against his skin. In the end, all he did was groan in frustration, and his eyes stayed glued to the money in his hand.

"Well, that... That was intense," Tao said. Despite his earlier excitement, Bill heard doubt in his voice. "Bill, are we-

"Say, Tao!" the tiger suddenly jumped at the panther, hands on his shoulders as he looked at him excitedly. "We felines have each other's backs, right? And you were really into getting one of those fingers just now. We got Aoba's money, so we can afford one each! What do you say?"

"Wha- Bill, I, uh..." the smaller panther tried to say something, but the words didn't come to him. He went stiff, tail standing high as his eyes wandered all over the place, desperate for the right answer. Bill took the chance, nodding with a bright smile and drawing his classmate's sight towards his face. "Ah... Y-Yeah! Let's do it!" Tao's voice was loud and somewhat shaky as the words came out of his mouth, but when Bill let go of him, he was breathing heavily, as if a weight had been removed from his shoulders. Looking away from the tiger, he leaned back and yelled at the sky next. "Yeah!"

"Yeah!" Bill copied his actions, and the two felines shared a quick grin before returning to the seller by the street. Pulling out whatever cash they still carried, they both looked at the decrepit elder with mad smiles on their faces. "Alright, old man! We'll take two fingers!"

"Is that so? Excellent," the old man spoke slowly, his difficult breathing cutting every other word, but his voice was nonetheless firm. His arms rose until a pair of shaky hands were presented to the hungry students, each one already missing some fingers. "Leave the money and make your pick."

That was all the old man had to say about it. He gave them his flesh with such ease, it was hard to believe. Bill swallowed; as much of a thrill it was, once he was right in front of it, he found himself nervously choking up. He still felt the same fire as before, demanding to be fed. But this time it was joined by a powerful force pressing against his chest. Beneath the bright orange fur, he felt himself sweating profusely, as if that same fire was too hot for his body to contain. It was like losing his virginity all over again, he told himself; all he needed to do was take that first step.

"I'll go first, Tao," he tried his best to keep his voice steady, but his best efforts fell flat once he realized his arm was still shaking. He took a deep breath, but it was only a marginal change. So he might as well just go for it, he thought. Once he actually did it, the uneasiness would vanish. Telling himself that, he leaned down, leaving the money on the old man's lap and grabbing the trembling hand. "T-Thanks for the meal."

He stared at it for a few more seconds. The occasional twitch reminded him that this wasn't a meal from the cafeteria. His veins were palpable underneath the dry skin, and Bill could easily feel the blood flowing through them as he held his wrists. The tenderness of his flesh and the fragility of his brittle bones, he sensed it all through his fingers alone. The weight of this man's life that pitifully gave away his fingers to be eaten for money. The tiger's breathing rushed as he kept thinking about it, his mind going back to pictures of Els in the same position. He started feeling the first few hints of regret all over his body.

But no.

His maw closed cleanly around the old man's ring finger. His fangs crushed through skin, flesh and bone, until it came off completely. The old man winced at the sensation, but either thanks to the experience of selling the others, or perhaps just as a defense mechanism, he didn't seem to really feel any pain, or at least he didn't express it. He simply pulled his hand away from the young tiger's grasp and carefully sewed the new wound with what little fingers he still had left on the other hand. It all happened in the span of mere seconds, and even then, Bill couldn't really process it all.

His mind had gone blank for a second, enticed by the sensual words of the voice inside his head. The very same primal, powerful voice that told him be a proud carnivore, to cave in to his base instincts. It told him to bite, to surrender to the pleasures of flesh. Enveloping him like a velvety veil, gently puling him towards the darkness of his own species. It was his own voice, in the end, talking from deep down in his consciousness, teasing his bare skin, trailing every stripe until he couldn't avoid the temptation any longer.

That's why he bit the old man's finger. And after doing it, he stood up and stepped back. His movements were wobbly, his eyes shadowed by his own frown weren't looking anywhere. Within the blind stupor, he vaguely heard Tao calling for him. It was all for naught, however, as his thoughts were completely taken by the piece of meat in his mouth. The weight of the digit on his tongue, the taste of the skin and the thin trickle of blood flowing out of it all started stirring something inside his body and mind. A shiver crawled up his spine as he toyed around with it, pushing it under his fangs and letting them sink in. And just as he predicted before, it was fragile, and it gave in to the strength of his jaw in no time. Flesh, blood and bone- All of it mixed in his mouth until the only thing left was a tangy mosh. He kept it inside for a while, enthralled by these new flavors, and then promptly let it all fall down his throat with a loud gulp.

"Woooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!" that was enough to make Tao stumble, and it got both of them more than a few funny looks the people inside the market. Bill didn't notice, and even if he had, he wouldn't give a damn. The euphoria was too powerful for him to sense anything, yet it was enhancing every single sense all at once. The dim lights from the distant streets suddenly became brighter and turned into a myriad of colors, but even that wasn't strong enough to hide the stars up in the night sky. He heard everything from his own heartbeat to the blood flowing inside the panther and the old man near him, and he swore he could discern the whispers coming from within the busy noise of the Back Alley Market.

And the most exhilarating of all, he felt every single smell coming from said market. Every sweet, enticing aroma, goading him to come inside and indulge. To sink his teeth in something more tender, fresher, juicier than an old, crusty finger. His tail swayed and his mouth watered so much he had to swallow the drool, yet his newfound hunger remained. It all mixed into a single scent coming from the other side of that arch, from within the luminous kingdom that was that forbidden alley. Sweet, sizzling meat; he couldn't even begin to imagine how delectable, how exquisite a proper meal would be like. Every deep breath he took filled his lungs with more of that temptation, until he was surprised his body wasn't moving on its own.

"Fuck! This is amazing!" the first thing that came out of him, and it was another yell. Just to drive the message home, he started flexing, of all things, muscles suddenly straining against the tight fabric of his shirt. "Tao, man! You gotta try this already, damn!"

"Getting this excited after eating a single finger. How obvious that this is your first," the old man let out a rather dark chuckle, but both young felines ignored it.

"O-Oi, old man! I'm up next, right?" Tao was also yelling now, his doubts replaced by eager excitement. Bill just happened to look his way when he leaned to take his bite, his with quicker, less preoccupied motions. Either that, or it looked faster when he wasn't the one constantly pondering about it. In any case, the entire situation played essentially the same, with the old man stitching his new wound close and Tao suddenly springing up with a sudden burst of energy. "Fuck! This is great, man!"

"Didn't I tell you?" the tiger reached and held his classmate in a neck lock, which quickly turned into the two felines sharing another laugh. Everything else around them, from the old man now counting his new money to the looks still thrown their way, became irrelevant in their high. It was all about the intensity from this point on. And the smells that kept wafting from the market and into their noses, making their bodies grow warmer. "Shit... I'm gonna go get some more."

"I want to," Tao's voice was interrupted by his own inhalations as he tried to keep the drool from leaking. "But I don't have any money left."

"I have some, I think- Wait..." he could only think of satiating his hunger. Of extending the meat high he had discovered. But a quick search through his pockets showed he didn't have the funds for it. "Ah! I'm broke! I don't even have for the train!"

"Shit, that..." Tao's sentence stayed unfinished. Bill's first instinct was to turn around and put on the kitty eyes towards the panther, who stopped dead on his tracks at such a sight. With a sigh, the smaller feline pulled out his wallet, where a few coins remained for him to count. "I have... just enough for two tickets back school."

"How much meat you think we can buy with that?" it came out of nowhere, but suddenly it was all Bill could think off. He didn't even try to clean the drool in his mouth until it started oozing out of his lips.

"We could find out," was the panther's similar reaction, before shaking his head to wake himself up. "I mean, no! Bill, come on, we have to go home."

"Yeah, yeah, I know," slapping himself a bit seemed like the only way to clear his head, yet he still could clearly smell the juicy scents in the Back Alley Market, calling him with their alluring voices. No matter what he did, his heightened senses focused on only one thing. "I mean, we can come any other night with some extra money and really go nuts, can't we?"

"Uh, y-yeah!" there it was again, that doubt. It didn't matter, though. The tiger was happy coming on his own if it came to that.

Even so, a strong arm landed around his feline mate's shoulders, and the two shared one more laugh on their way back. There was nothing in particular for them to be laughing at; it just felt like the natural thing to do after daring to take their first step into adulthood. And ignoring the looks still thrown their way, even by the very old man whose fingers they had just taken, they walked out of the darkened alley they were in, back into the bright lights of the city.

A single second; a few steps was all it took for them to leave the Back Alley Market behind, and it was like they had traveled to a completely different world. The streets were illuminated, to the point of blinding their overly sensitive eyes, but it did little to deter their high. The bustling all around them as countless animals walked, as the cars honked and roamed the roads, made their hearts beat faster and harder on their chests. Bill could even smell each passerby, telling them apart from one another; he wondered if this was how canines felt all the time, before breathing in deeply again, overwhelmed by the multitude of scents.

"Wow..." Tao, next to him, had done the same thing. The panther now looked at him, eyes wide open and reflecting the light in such a way, it was as if they shone on their own. It was such a sight, the tiger had to return the smile at him. "Man, it's really weird. A second ago, I was crazy with energy, but I feel so calm right now. Do you feel that too? Like, I just want to sit for a while and enjoy life."

"What? Uh..." for the first time, the larger feline wasn't sure what his friend was talking about. He was still brimming with energy, feeling like fighting someone. And some of the smells he sensed only caused the heat in his body to rise, and his mouth to water again as he remembered the delectable taste of meat against his tongue. What he would do for more... "Y-Yeah, it's really weird. I'm super chill. Look there's a bench over there!" he said, pointing at a small park across the street, and as soon as the traffic lights changed, he rushed over.

Bill didn't understand that this burst of energy wasn't selling the image of calm he tried to portray, but luckily for him Tao didn't catch on it, if his lack of response was anything to go by. He just joined the tiger on the bench, and the two friends looked at the street, watching the cars and the people pass by. The panther let out a sigh, slouching back on his seat, while the tiger tapped his foot on the ground. Every second he stayed still only made him feel more restless. And Tao's lack of reaction didn't help.

He had nothing to do then, but look at the world around him, in pretty much the same way his friend did. And his eyes landed onto the targets you'd expect from someone so full of hormones as him. His sight wandered towards the female bodies around him, the tall, busty carnivores walking around the city, their cleavages modestly exposed under jackets. Bill had always had a thing for girls with stripes, but for the first time, he didn't care about any of that. His eyes wandered towards any body he thought he could hold tight in bed, and he felt his pants tighten at the thought.

But those same blue eyes didn't stick just on the females. Without realizing, he eventually went from the nubile breasts to the strong chests hidden underneath shirts. He ended up admiring the males accompanying their girlfriends just as much, watching thick arms surround their slender waists, hands held as they pressed their warm bodies against one another, a few guys trying to steal a kiss from their girls. It simply felt natural to wish he could jump in between them and pull them both to his bed.

"Say, where do you think Legosi and Aoba are?" the first words that Tao said in a while, and just hearing his voice came as a shock. Bill had even forgotten he was there, until his distracted eyes returned to the panther, just as he was gazing up at the moon. "They both just left, so I'm concerned if they made it back to school safely. Especially Legosi, he went into the Back Alley Market."

"Legosi this, Legosi that, he pisses me off," the tiger scoffed at the new words, and the air immediately soured as he was reminded of the wolf, pictures of him now clouding his head. "All over his head with his justice; he's just a loner and a freak, but he thinks he's better than us. He makes me so fucking angry!" he said again, unable to shake the wolf off his head. All he could think of were his stupid, angular face, the droopy yet tender eyes, the soft gray fur that covered his slender, firm body, hiding lean, hard muscle underneath. "He's kinda cute, though."

"Huh?"

"Mmm? Nothing," Bill quickly cleared out the panther's surprise, who quickly dismissed him before returning to his quiet contemplation. It was then that the tiger realized just what he had said, what he had felt... But like everything else crossing his mind right now, after being liberated by his first taste of meat, it felt natural. "We're not doing anything here. Let's go back to school."

"Eh? Already?" Tao was, once again, shocked, but the tiger was already up and on his way.

Bill heard his hurried steps behind him, but they didn't matter. The high was still very much present, clouding his thoughts, heating up his body, yet it had lost its luster, just like the lights all around him had lost their glimmer, and the city returned to the once bleak image it possessed. Only one thing remained on his head, brushing past his face as he could only imagine what his fur would feel like against his bare body. The itch growing, clinging to his back much like his own claws clung to the canine's body that fateful day.

The days went by without stopping, and normal school life resumed. The bustling caused by Tem's death was already dying down, and the Drama Club's last performance had become the gossip among all students; one that refused to stop, unlike those of the late alpaca. The main topic of every conversation was always about that mysterious wolf, the one who fought so fiercely on stage and stood next to Louis, the shining star of the club, as if he recognized him as the next one to take his place. Or so many of them said.

A locker closed loudly, but the sound was lost into the multitude of voices all around, and no animal turned around to look for its origin. Once again, Bill found himself ignored, much like how no one said anything about the tiger that played Adler in the play. A mere footnote in the moment that Legosi and Louis shared under the spotlight. But it wasn't the lack of attention what bothered him. It was the constant whispering in the hallways about the mysterious canine actor, the rumor of him being attractive underneath his costume, that kept him thinking about the wolf all day long.

A sigh left his lips and he turned around, towards all his male clubmates who were too busy with their own conversations and thoughts to pay him any mind. Most of them had their bodies bare as they changed into their club clothes, and Bill himself wasn't the exception. He had always enjoyed showing off his muscular build, substantially larger than most of his friends, and the elegant stripes that covered his shining orange fur. For years he had taken any chance he could to take off his shirt and silently brag about his feline body, whether it was to a girl he was sleeping with, or to his fellow men, to show them his carnivore strength. He had always enjoyed locker rooms for that very same reason, yet this time he had new feelings to explore.

It had been days since their excursion to the Back Alley Market, and the meat high was long gone. But the one thing he still held from the experience was the same thing that surprised him back that day, and that he was now confirming among his friends. A few lockers to the right, he saw Tao talking to Kibi, the anteater, but his eyes ignored the smaller animal and lingered on the panther's slim body underneath the shirt. When he moved, his focus was immediately taken by Riz, the tall, monstrously muscular bear, his powerful torso deliciously bare as he talked with the athletic Aoba; Bill ignored the fact that he hadn't spoken to him since their trip to the city, and focused on the soft feathers his friend was about to cover with his shirt.

It was undeniable that he was admiring them. This newfound taste for the masculine body- or perhaps he had always held such preferences? He had always enjoyed watching his own muscles expand as he grew older, so how was this any different. It felt completely natural for him to stare a bit, looking for the strength hiding underneath their fur until his body started craving to feel it on its own. He recognized the feeling; it was the same he got after sleeping with a girl, the need to hold her tight to his body, to drown on her scent and knead every beat of flesh in her body, cupping her breasts as he coiled his legs around hers. The only difference was thinking about doing it with pecs instead.

That was why the constant gossiping got to him. Whenever he heard chats going about the wolf in the school play, those thoughts were completely taken by the image of Legosi. Just like that day, he could only imagine the wolf completely bare, hands sinking into the cream fur of his belly, looking for the firm chest he knew was somewhere in that fuzzy mess. He wanted to let his fangs sink into the tender flesh, make him moan and tremble in his touch-

"Hey, Bill!" Tao's voice got him out of his thoughts, just in time for him to keep his pants from growing too tight. "Don't think too hard, man. That's not your thing. You'll be late like Legosi," he said as much with a playful laugh that the others joined in, but the tiger didn't find their reactions entertaining in the least. It took a lot out of him to not scoff at them.

But despite how much he wanted to deny it, their words were fairly accurate. The definitive proof was the fact that the locker room was empty now, save for him and the wolf in question on the other side of the room. The tiger's tongue clicked and he leaned back on the locker, holding the white t-shirt in one hand and crossing his arms in front of his chest, waiting for the canine to be over.

Legosi didn't say anything, but his shoulders grew stiff as he no doubt felt the tiger's stare. He kept his eyes looking forward, glued to the open locker while still twiddling with his uniform. His claws fumbled on the buttons of his shirt, and with each passing second his fur stood straighter, but in usual Legosi fashion, he remained still and unreadable. The only reason Bill knew he was nervous was thanks to his own carnivore instincts helping him feel his tension in the air. Why was he there as well, anyway? He wasn't sure... He didn't know why he remained in the locker room with the canine, but the itching all over his body told him to stay. It was a familiar sensation, but he still couldn't put his finger on it.

That is, until the wolf's shirt came off his body. That was when Bill's subdued anger started to vanish, replaced by a sense of awe and a warmth spreading from his chest to his cheeks. His eyes landed on the wolf's naked back, practically hypnotized by the soft fur that shone with the light from the ceiling. Hidden behind the gray hair were several long lines, horizontally carved deep into his skin. The tiger immediately recognized them as the same wounds he had inflicted on him during the fight they had on stage, when he had drawn the wolf's blood out. To think they had already scarred, or that they would look so much like the very stripes he was so proud of, to the point of constantly bragging about them.

He remembered. Back during that day, during that moment, he had taunted the wolf with that very same thought. He told him he would give him stripes just for them to have something in common; to be brothers in arms. But he never thought they would look so close to the real thing, or that they would blend in so swiftly with his slender, defined back. And as his eyes wandered across the tall figure of the canine, taken by the gentle swaying of his tail, he suddenly understood why he had remained behind.

"Hey, Legosi," he said in a low voice. The wolf jumped, but still faced forward, in an almost adorable fashion. That was the last straw for Bill, and before he could get an answer, his feline speed had already gotten him to the other side of the room, right behind the wolf. His right arm made its way around the canine's slender waist, barely brushing the hair until his hand landed on Legosi's soft stomach, immediately sinking until he felt the firm abs. The left one rose, a pair of shy fingers trailing the parallel lines that his own claws had drawn on him. "Do these still hurt?"

"W-What..." he still couldn't see the wolf's face, but his words were shaky, and his body had gone stiff once again. His back contracted for a second at the touch, but right away it arched into the tiger's hand, as if asking for more. "Uh... No, they don't really hurt anymore. W-Why do you ask?"

His words fell on deaf ears, and Legosi had no way of knowing it. He was likely confused, a bit of panic settling in as he had no idea how to react. Bill couldn't read any of that; he was entirely taken by the scars, following each one with the tip of his fingers and grinning every time the wolf twitched from his touch. The way his muscles popped and twisted with every movement, his body trembling by the tiger's actions, fingers pushing in until he brushed the coarse skin. It was so warm, even under the fur.

"Legosi, you look really good with stripes," he laughed, gently pulling the wolf further onto his body, until the strands of fur connected. Bill himself leaned forward, his breathing falling on the canine's neck as his nose pressed against it. Legosi shivered from the wetness, his claws scratching the lockers in front of him, while Bill's lips climbed his nape and pulled back in a slight snarl. His now exposed fangs brushed against the wolf's skin and he gently pressed them against it, poking his flesh until he got a gasp out of his snout.

Legosi's head moved to the side, and Bill heard him growl and whimper under his breath, as if asking for more. The tiger felt compelled to please him, moved by something beyond the hunger, and his fangs passed the tender flesh of his neck until he reached the shoulder, where he dared bite just a bit harder. He felt the wolf's body start to give in, and he stopped just before the blood would pour out. It was still enough to make him whimper and moan, low enough for only the two of them in the locker room to hear.

Bill's hand went down his back again, the wolf shivering under his touch, arching forward and making the feline's thick fingers trail the curve once again. The ridges made by his scars were so pronounced, yet so imperceptible, he ended up losing himself on them more than once. It was as if he could convince himself that they really were stripes, and that he and Legosi really were the same. His hand landed on the fluffy tail and he felt it gently swaying against his legs.

"I was joking when I said we would be partners," he whispered in-between bites, his hand roaming back up and around, until his fingers sank on the cream fur and reached the firm, slender chest. "But the way you rock them is really driving me mad," and with that, he leaned forward while pulling the wolf closer, until his back landed on the tiger's pecs, and his stomach fit perfectly with the curved back, like two puzzle pieces linking together.

"Bill..." the wolf gasped, followed by a whimper when the tiger bit on his shoulder again. Bill could tell that it was driving him mad, that his body craved more of his touch. He started grinding his butt against the feline's crutch, and that's when he knew he wouldn't be able to hold back for much longer. He felt the boner inside his pants grow and throb, the fabric stretching, the hold tightening. It wouldn't be long before he had to pull them down, release his manhood and take the wolf.

Only then did the feline realize what he was thinking about. Taking a canine, a male one at that, was something he never before thought about, not even once. But it still felt natural right now. Ever since that night, ever since he started admiring his fellow men as much as he admired the girls he walked past, and ever since his mind started to be filled with images of the wolf in compromising positions, despite how much he wanted to deny that. He wanted Legosi; he probably had wanted to have him all for his own for a while now. His hand held his chest tighter, squeezed whatever meat and muscle he found there, getting more of those delectable sounds out of him. And then he held him even closer, pressing their bodies together. He wanted to be one with him, to be closer than any other person had been with him.

He needed it. He needed to have Legosi's body just as much as he needed to give him his own. The hunger came back, the need that burned from his loins and spread through his entire self. It moved his hands again, fingers roaming the flat stomach, sinking into his soft, creamy fur, madly searching for the hem of his sweatpants, diving in-

"Ah!" what the hell was that sound as if he was waking up from a dream? Bill couldn't think too much about it as the wolf escaped his hold, standing a few inches away from the tiger, a crimson blush settled on his cheeks. His mouth hung in a concerned expression and his eyes were wide open in shock, yet his tail continued to swing rapidly from the sheer excitement he had no doubt felt. And a quick glance showed Bill the bulge in front of the canine's pants, the tool that was almost his own. "I, um... I don't know what's going on, uh... I could- I want to- Uh..." the shaky words of a virgin. Yet Bill surprised himself thinking that the wolf looked endearing like that. "Everyone's waiting for us, so we should get out before they wonder what's happening. Or before someone comes in."

"Oh? So, you were worried they would find us while we were at it?" Bill teased him, getting the wolf to grow stiff and his blush to turn brighter. Despite all that, his tail started swaying after a few seconds, faster than before, as he surely thought of what almost went down between them. The tiger stepped forward, holding him by the waist and pressing their bulges and stomachs together, a wide grin still present on his lips. "You can't deny that you liked it."

"I..." the wolf started. But just as he did, he looked down, and his tail stopped moving. "I... like some-

"Come on, man! Don't go getting a stiffy over a joke!" and to emphasize his words, Bill held the wolf's crotch in one hand, getting a quick squeeze of his hard member. Legosi's tail shot up from it, and he stepped back again, crossing his legs. Through it all, Bill doubled over with laughter, wiping tears from his eyes and finally putting on his shirt. "Don't go getting a crush on me now, man. You're not my type, your dick is too big," he laughed again, making his way out of the locker room. The wolf sighed behind him, and that was the last he heard out of him until he was out.

It was better this way, Bill thought as he made his way towards the stage, making awkward steps to try and slip his noticeable boner down his leg, keep some decor around the others. When he reached them, everyone groaned at him for taking so long, with Dom, the tall, blue peafowl, already berating him rather loudly. His words went through the tiger's ears without a concern, and he simply laughed everyone's concerns off, until...

"Where's Legosi?" Aoba asked, his fierce gaze boring a hole through all of Bill's defenses in an instant. And whether it was his intention or not, his words got the entire club to turn back to him, with concerned and judgmental looks thrown into the mix. If the eagle was going to be this hostile, then it seemed like he could no longer ignore the falling out they had in the Back Alley Market. He would've thrown a punch his way had it not been for his arousal keeping him in a good mood, but it was starting to run dry.

"I'm here," Legosi's deep and somber voice got everyone's attention, the feline's included, as he walked out into the stage, meeting everyone else. Several relieved sighs came out as everyone walked over to him, causing the wolf to look at the floor to avoid their gazes. His tail pointed to the floor and he stood in an awkward position that no one but Bill seemed to pick up on, likely caused by the persisting boner he had given him.

"Seriously, you two. Don't get yourselves into more trouble," Dom's somehow managed to keep his melodious tone even when he was nagging them, joining the rest of his clubmates to make them disperse back into their positions.

As they did, Aoba walked past the tiger, not even bothering to give him a glance. Of all the high and mighty attitudes... Unlike him, Bill's eyes stayed on the eagle, a snarl forming on his lips and ready to turn into a long string of swearing. Until his eyes crossed with Legosi's instead, and the wolf returned his stare all the while. It only broke away once, when he looked down at the tiger's crotch, and then he returned to looking away in shame. But his tail's gentle swaying betrayed him.

Bill chuckled. As usual, the wolf made it hard to be around him. If it wasn't by being fucking self-righteous, it was by being too sweet to let go of. The tiger hadn't realized until then how much he wanted to have him for his own, how much his body craved him. And that craving slowly turned into literal hunger...

The days went by again. The days felt like they were just going by now, like there was little to do anymore. At first it was because of lingering effects of his first meat high, the enhanced senses that made the world around him slow down almost to a halt. And it awoke new sensations, feelings he wasn't aware of until then. Feelings that reached their peak when Legosi was on his hands, when the wolf's body caved in to his touch. He felt like he could've extended that high forever by holding him for longer.

But he was softly, quietly rejected. And everything after that started to return to its regular speed. The world became normal, yet to the eyes that had seen it from the other side of hunger, it was dull. The leaves lost their glimmer, the voices in the halls were empty, and the bodies, male and female alike, were no longer as admirable as they used to. In a matter of mere hours, the tiger's life became sluggish, almost devoid of meaning.

And the days simply went by. Until the weekend, when, with a shocking surge of energy, Bill found himself running through the halls, jumping on the first train he found and rushing through the crowds of animals in the city. Until he came across that barely hidden shame that was the Back Alley Market.

A single deep breath was all he needed. The same sweet aromas that got his attention the first time he came across this place were still calling out to him, coiling around his head to gently pull his body into the dark entrails of such a forbidden place. The sun set behind him, and the darkness of the night washed over the sky above, slowly enveloping the alley. Several stands had already lit their own lights, becoming that shining parade of meat that he had fallen in love with so hard only a few days before. The world regained that fantastic glimmer.

The young tiger quickly checked his wallet. In a deluded whim, he took all of his savings and stuffed them into the small pockets, until it was practically overflowing with notes and coins, too fat to close all the way. When he slipped it back into his pants, it made a noticeable bulge, the kind any mugger could easily swipe out without getting caught. Bill couldn't even entertain the possibility in his deprived state; his mind was completely taken by the delectable scents invading his nostrils and calling him with a siren's sensual voice. His body and soul both screamed for the relief of his fangs sinking into flesh, and he would give it to them even if he went broke in the process.

For the first time, he crossed the ominous arch. The virginal fear that had assaulted him the first time, when presented with the old, crusty fingers, was long gone. He moved entirely on desire, hunger and need. And for the first time, he was in what he saw as a sacred place, where he could at last indulge on those carnivorous instincts and needs. His smile grew wider and wider, and his eyes shone with the lights coming from the stands as each one was lit after the other, and their products were hung in front of his very eyes. Juicy, sizzling, mouth-watering meat, all over the place.

"Hey, kid. Kid!" it took him a while to let go of the dazzle and realize someone was calling out to him. He ended up blinking rapidly, trying to recover from the light show he had just witnessed for the first time, like a child for the first time going to a carnival. When he looked around, the world was only a little bit less shiny, with multiple other carnivores walking down the alley around him, and a few nasty, weirded looks thrown his way. "Kid, over here! You're in the way!"

He looked around until he found that rumbling voice. It belonged to a large, fat alligator behind one of the stands, his chest and a rotund belly exposed. An enormous cleaver fell on a large piece of red meat, sinking into the wooden board underneath, and a cleanly steak fell to its side. He raised the knife again, without missing a beat, and kept cutting the meat in thick slabs that he then put to the side. Bill watched it all, wiping the drool from his lips and chin, only for it to reappear once again with surprising speed. The reptile let a quick chuckle at the sight.

"You new 'round these parts, kid? Hold on to that pack of bills if you don't wan' 'em goin' missin'!" his chuckle turned into a powerful laugh and Bill couldn't avoid the blush that settled on his cheeks. His hand dove immediately for his pocket, sliding inside and tightly holding his wallet, while his tail stuck to his leg in shame. "Loosen up, kid! 'Njoy the Back Alley Market. Come on, pick a slab, you get a discount. First time service."

"Seriously!?" the tiger jumped forward, already willing to kiss the gator to thank him. Even to pay him, he thought. The reptile simply nodded, his angular snout trapped in that permanent grin that gave the feline chills as much as it eased him into it. In his excitement, he didn't care to look at the prices of anything; his eyes landed on the multiple fresh cuts of meat in front of him, all of them shining red as the light bounced off the fat. They all looked so much more delectable than the crusty fingers he had for his first time, as juicy as the nubile breasts of any tigress he had been with before. "T-This one!" he blurted out, grabbing a random piece and shoving the money on the reptile's hand without checking for a second count.

He stared at the piece of meat that was now in his hands. The piece of meat that he bought himself, and that he could do as he wished with. It was the true epitome of his growth as a carnivore man; it was the peak of his identity. And it filled him with a thrill as big as the warm, restless bodies of his lovers did. Yes, he felt just like he did when he and Legosi were together, pressed against one another, feeling the other's breathing and heat. Just the memory was enough for his member to stir inside his pants, making a second bulge.

He stared at the meat just as if it was the wolf's neck, tempting him to keep nibbling, to get more of those exquisite whimpers out of him. Without thinking, without caring for the raw meat or whoever might see him do it, Bill pulled it up to his mouth, breathing heavily as he opened, and his fangs sank into it, the tender flesh barely putting any resistance as he tore a messy bite off, making it dance in its own juices inside his mouth.

His entire body shivered in delight, and the familiar heat spread through every cell he was made of. It was like an explosion deep within his being, a sensation he had missed after less than a week, yet at the same time one that he had never in his life felt; and even then, it felt like a state in which his most primal instincts awoke after centuries and generations of slumber, returning to the new world that expanded around him. In the few seconds it took him to chew and swallow that one piece of meat, Bill stepped into paradise.

Once he was done with it, he returned to the Back Alley Market. The lights hadn't changed in the least, and the gator that sold him the meat looked at him with a wide grin before tending to a different client. Bill let out the breath he didn't know he had been holding, and stared back down at the meat, his body already creaming at him for more. And with a grin, he took another large bite as he made his way deeper into the alley, sinking into its brilliance as he devoured the flesh with such abandon, he kept shivering from the way it tickled his cheeks. And even if it took him all night, even if he ended up spending the entire weekend within this forbidden garden of meat, he would sure as hell have more.
