Selena lay naked in her bed and on her back, with a cold, damp strip of cloth across her forehead. Every part of her body ached, even after a full night of sleep; the beating and fucking she'd suffered at the paws of Adonis had left her nearly broken.

The reptile had had to bathe for nearly an hour to get all of the cum off and out of her, and the bath was followed immediately by sleep. Now, as she lay there with the morning sun slowly creeping into her bedroom, Selena had the chance to reflect on her loss.

Adonis had been amazing. Selena had been around Combat, involved in Combat, for many years. She had seen many an amazing fighter, with Kaine being (in her opinion) one of the finest. Now, she was sure she had seen the best in Adonis.

For starters, the dragon was incredibly nimble for such a large creature. He absorbed shots like a dragon, but he moved like a cheetah. His willpower was tremendous; not only had he resisted all of Selena's sexual advances and holds, but his Carnality was simply a hard fucking - no fancy tricks, no powers. He just stuck his cock in her and fucked her until she screamed.

In the middle of her thoughts, Selena became aware of the presence of someone else in her room. She opened one eye, and spotted Ruin's glowing eyes glaring back at her.

"I'd heard that you took a pounding," he said. "But I didn't believe them. I thought you had at least put up a fight."

"I did," Selena said irritably. "That's the point. I couldn't even get him down."

"I didn't meant it that way," Ruin said, stepping out of the shadows. "Are you alright?"

Selena sighed and nodded her head. "I'll recover," she said. "He was incredible, Ruin. I've seen dominant fighters, hell - I've BEEN dominated in fights. This Adonis, though...he was like the pinnacle of Combat."

"A mysterious new House led by a seemingly invincible fighter? Curious," Ruin said.

"I wouldn't call him invincible yet. He beat me, but that's it."

"But you're very good," Ruin rumbled. "Beating you is no small accomplishment."

Selena sat up, pulling the cloth off of her head. "Still, we'll see how he fares in his next match. Spectre or Khan, and either way it should be quite telling."

"Indeed. What might also be telling are the records in the Hall Library. Adonis would have had to list his official accomplishments in Combat there. It could be worth a look."

"It could," Selena said with a smirk. "But those records are for the Grandmaster's eyes only. Plus, Adonis may have lied about his accomplishments."

"Perhaps, but if he told the truth, we know something. If he lied, we at least know that he's a liar, and up to something."

Selena shrugged. "Espionage? I suppose I may as well, since I've nothing else to do now."

"I've got time myself," Ruin said, nodding to Selena. "Let me know when you're feeling up to it. We'll see what the Hall knows about this Adonis fellow."

Reiko meandered down the corridors of the Hall, on her way back to her room after some light training in the dojo. Her thoughts had been preoccupied with her brief conversation with Khan the previous day. She knew the tiger had a less-than-trustworthy history, but she couldn't help but wonder why everyone was so set against him. She felt for him, in a way; she herself had had to fight against public opinion - and her brother's opinion - to get a shot at the Tournament.

She stopped short when she heard a voice say her name. The wolfess turned to see who was calling her, but she quickly realized that she was not being called - someone was talking about her.

Quietly, Reiko slipped down the hall until she could hear the voices distinctly, coming from behind a closed door. She listened intently.

"...not going to lay down, not for anyone. Not for her, and not for you."

"Well, that's good n' fine, but I'm just sayin' that it kinda' sucks for your House. I mean, Reiko seems like a tough gal'."

"Please. She's only here because the sensei wanted to do her brother a favor. He couldn't get the job done, but they know I can. She's just here to fill out the ranks."

"If you say so. I think you should be careful. Personally, I'm preparin' for the chance that I'll face her. I won't be surprised if she gets that far."

"Good for you. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get on with my day. If you think she's so tough, you worry about her. Frankly I think I'm owed an easy win, considering what I went through last year."

Reiko ducked into another room as the closed door rattled. Hiding, she watched as Suki came out, looking ruffled as she padded away. Khan soon followed, shaking his head before he left in the other direction.

In the dark, Reiko raged. So, that was what Suki thought? That was what her House thought? Well, they all had a surprise coming to them. She was not going to be an easy victory for anyone, not Suki or anyone else.

Reiko started out of the room, turning to follow Suki when a paw suddenly landed on her shoulder. She spun around and glared, only to find the fox Daichi standing there.

"Sorry, did I startle you?" He asked, giving the wolfess a half-perplexed, half-suspicious look.

"No, I just...got lost. I'm looking for the Meditation Chamber."

"Huh. Well, you're on the wrong wing. You've got to head all the way to the other side of the Hall. Everything else okay otherwise, Miss Reiko?"

The wolfess nodded. "Sure," she muttered, and headed off away from Daichi.

The fox watched her go and he frowned. She was clearly not lost, she was hiding. From what, he wondered.

"So, now what do the Gods think about Adonis? Now that he's made his Combat debut."

"Why should his fighting prowess tell the Gods anything? Besides, my dear, don't you pray? You could just ask them yourself."

Alexandros smiled, and Rhane shook her head. He could be quite...frustrating at times, but she knew he meant well. She had spent the last year growing close to the demi-god, or sorcerer, or whatever he was, and while he had proven to be quite quirky he had also proven himself to be quite insightful.

Still, Rhane had a bad feeling in her gut about Adonis and Khan, and the seeming passive interest the Gods and Alexandros were taking in the issue bothered her.

"I pray for wisdom," Rhane said, looking at Alexandros. The two of them sat in a little area just off of the Garden of Decadence. The area was known as the Rock Garden; it contained a small hut, behind which was a sitting area and the titular rock garden. The sand was cleanly raked in wild patters, swirling lines around sitting stones. Rhane and Alexandros sat there, looking over the designs.

"And what wisdom have you attained?"

"Enough to know that Adonis is dangerous," Rhane said simply.

"Everyone is dangerous, in their own way," Alexandros responded, tapping his walking stick lightly against the cobblestone that made up the floor of the sitting area. "Honestly, you need to stop putting so much of your attention on Adonis and company when you have an important fight fast approaching. Have you even thought about your first match against Daichi?"

Rhane nodded. "Oh, I have. It is indeed an important fight. I'm the last chance for the House of Light now, and I don't think there's anyone who wants the victory more than Daichi. It will be a rough match."

"Just the way you like it," Alexandros said with a smile. "Show me what you plan to do."

Alexandros tossed his walking stick forward into the sand. Rhane looked at him questioningly, but then stood and walked over to the stick.

Suddenly, the stick started to writhe like a live snake. Rhane jumped back in surprise, watching as the stick slowly turned into an enormous reptilian creature. From the waist down, it was a muscular coil of cobra, but from the waist up it was lizard like, with a solid torso, thick arms, and a reptilian head.

Rhane darted to the side as the snake lashed it's tail at her. She ducked an overhead sweep from it and then leapt over a lower sweep, yelping as it attacked her with speed and ferocity. When it wasn't using its tail on her, the snake was grapping at her with his clawed hands, trying to snag her clothing.

Unsure of what Alexandros expected of her exactly, Rhane decided to at least make it clear that she didn't intend to be stripped by the animated...well, stick. She ducked under another grab from the snake and shot in close, bringing her knee up into his belly once, twice, three times. The snake doubled over, backing up as the vixen pressed her advantage. She stepped up onto his tail and ran along it, leaping at just the right moment to deliver a hard swinging kick to the side of the creature's neck. The snake collapsed instantly.

Panting a little, Rhane looked up at Alexandros with a smirk. "If Daichi, or Adonis, want to play rough, I can oblige," she said smugly. Alexandros just grinned.

"I see that. When you're focused, you're quite effective. What I wonder is how effective you can be when you keep splitting your attention between Khan, and Adonis, and Daichi, and your duty. Let's find out, eh?"

Rhane heard something behind her. She turned quickly, eyes wide when she spied two more snakes behind her, fast approaching. She readied herself again, unaware that the original snake was back up.

The vixen could only cry out in surprise when a thick snake tail coiled around her midsection, wrapping her up from hips to underarms. She struck at the coil, but it was far too thick for her small paws to batter. It squeezed around her and she gasped, arching her back. The first snake hissed happily and slithered up behind her, grabbing her wrists in its claws before pulling the vixen's paws above her head.

The two new snakes descended on the fighting Rhane in an instant. One of them grabbed her flailing legs at the ankle and lifted her legs up, spreading them wide. She gasped as the second one helped its partners by using its claws to slash away the vixen's clothing. It took its time, letting her feel the sharp slash against her fur. As her clothing fluttered away in tatters, leaving Rhane naked, she struggled more and more, determined to escape.

Her hopes of escape quickly vanished as the snake that had slashed away her clothes grabbed her face, forcing her to look up as it lowered it's head. It's long tongue slithered out and into her muzzle, wrapping 'round her tongue tightly. The snake holding her legs wriggled it's tail tip around, and Rhane saw for an instant that the tip was clearly phallus shaped. Sure enough, she soon felt it pressing against her bare folds, drawing a moan from her as it nuzzled up against her clit.

The first snake began to undulate it's coils around her naked body, rubbing her breasts and nipples and stroking her belly. Her tail began to twitch and the vixen's eyes rolled back in her head, feeling pleasure start to course through her. The tail tip at her sex slowly pushed into her, at least at first; once it was inside her, it began to fuck her ruthlessly. She could feel the strange invader pumping against her clit and her walls, stroking her at her deepest points.

Her tongue was tugged by the other snake, but it wasn't done with her. It too brought its tail tip around, and began to probe lewdly under her tail. The vixen groaned out in lust as she soon felt her ass being stuffed, filling her body entirely.

She was fucked between the three snakes, pounded in ass and pussy, while the rest of her body was squeezed and stroked by restless coils. Soon her struggles stopped entirely, and the vixen bounced limply in the grasp of the snakes as they made use of her. Rhane's first orgasm crashed over her like a wave, making her howl in pleasure despite the grip one of the snakes still had on her tongue, and her second orgasm followed only minutes later when the snake fucking her ass began to pinch her stiff nipples.

Alexandros smiled and stood up, summoning his walking stick too his paw, but leaving the snakes where they were, gleefully gangbanging Rhane. He felt he had made his point about Rhane's need to focus on her duty to her House. The continuing orgy...well, that was just a little something to teach her a lesson about overconfidence.

The issue of Adonis was his concern. The dragon had indeed displayed a power that surprised him. In turn, he was surprised to find the Gods strangely tight-lipped about the matter. Something was amiss, that much he knew; he hoped he would be able to deduce the true nature of the issue before it was too late.

It took no effort at all for Selena and Ruin to slip into the Hall Library, past the guards, and into the inner chambers where official records were kept. Not only were they both experts when it came to not being seen, but their years of living in the Hall gave them an unmatched knowledge of every passage, corner, and blind spot in the entire Hall of Combat.

While the guard stood his ground outside of the inner chamber, Selena and Ruin sat inside, looking for the most recent collection of Combat records. They found it fairly easily, as it was the newest tome on the shelves. Ruin pulled it down and silently flipped through it, searching for the information they desired.

When he found it, he laid the book down so Selena could read along with him. They poured over the page, starting with "Record: Arrigan Adonis: House of Exile: Master".

"Nothing about his past, other than that he led a camp of exiles for the last several years. Not even what House he was exiled from. That's odd," Selena said, peering over the entry.

"Yes, but here's your explanation for how he beat you. Look at his training. He's trained in almost every Combat style there is, and he's a Fifth Level Master in Long Tail. That's an accomplishment right there," Ruin replied.

"He could have lied."

"But considering how he threw you around, I doubt it. He's in peak physical condition and has experience with most fighting styles. It's like he was bred for Combat."

"Peak physical condition indeed," Selena muttered, rubbing her thighs together as she recalled her defeat. "So he's well-trained. This really doesn't shed any light on his intentions here."

"No...but it's something. Every little bit of information has a use," Ruin said, tapping the page. "Let's go. That's all there is to learn here."

Khan stepped up to the door to Adonis' quarters. He was about to knock when he heard two voices coming from inside. For a moment the tiger hesitated, not wanting to bother the dragon if he was meeting with someone, but he decided that he'd rather interrupt over being accused of eavesdropping. Khan knocked twice, and the voices stopped.

A moment later Adonis bid Khan enter. The tiger did so, closing the door tightly behind himself. Adonis was standing near the open window.

"Sorry if I interrupted anythin' boss," Khan said.

"I summoned you, didn't I? You interrupt nothing."

Khan nodded and looked around. "They're here now, I take it?"

Adonis just smirked. "Don't concern yourself with that. I called you here because I want to make sure that you are dedicated to your task tonight. This will be the ultimate test of your loyalty to me and to our goals. I want you to understand the...effect that a betrayal on your part may have on both my plans and your continued existence on this world."

The dragon's words were pointed and disturbingly threatening, but Khan nodded his head, unflinching. He was sure indeed. He knew the dragon could count on him.

"Take the night off, boss," Khan said with a grin. "Ol' Khan will take care of things for you. I'm part o' the team on this one, for sure."

Adonis nodded. "Good. Then go, and prepare for your fight. Do just as we discussed. When it is over, come right back here and report. Once you've completed your task, all of the pieces will be in place."

Spectre had spent his morning watching games of Sensuale being played, watching and listening as players drew cards and then told their stories. Eventually, though, he had to slip away from his observation so that he could prepare for his fight that night.

It seemed like only yesterday he was in this very same position: Third fight into the Tournament, first fight for the House of Stone. Last year, he had lost a close fight to Dusk. This year would be different. With the opportunity to thrash Khan - the tiger who had previously framed him for an attack on the mare Stardust - Spectre had plenty of motivation for winning. He could make up for his previous loss, do his House justice, and get a measure of revenge on Khan all in one night.

He was a different mephit this time, too. Not just physically either; while he now sported his many fur-dyed patters across his body, he had a new outlook on life and on Combat. That spark of devil-may-care attitude was still there, but Spectre now had a much more focused outlook on life. He felt that he had a path to walk, and a destiny to fulfill. It had taken a direct run-in with a messenger of the Gods and six months of soul searching, but now that he'd found something to truly live for, instead of just living, he wasn't going to let go of it easily.

So the skunk had hooked up with Daichi, and the two sparred for the better part of the afternoon. Spectre then ate a light meal, rested, and woke an hour before the fight so that he could stretch himself out and get to the arena early.

As it turned out, the chosen arena was part of the new wing. Called the Crystalline Arena, Spectre hadn't the slightest idea what to expect. Upon entering, he found the arena aptly named, as usual; the outer walls were made of towering shards of rocky crystal that glittered brightly. As the skunk entered, he noticed that the circular arena had a boundary line clearly painted around the edge, leaving about three feet between the arena and the crystal walls. Apparently there was some sort of out-of-bounds penalty here.

Spectre stood in the center of the arena, looking around. The crystals reflected his image off of their surfaces, each one making him look taller or shorter or fatter or thinner. He felt as if he was being watched by dozens of doppelgangers.

The skunk turned around just in time to see Khan Lei walking down the corridor towards the arena. Spectre smirked; the obnoxious tiger had clearly been keeping his body sculpture-perfect, but somehow he doubted that Khan's actual fighting prowess had improved one iota.

"Well, looks like someone was eager to get to the fight," Khan chuckled, stepping into the arena. He looked over his shoulder briefly as the doors closed behind him.

"No, you're just late. Which really isn't too surprising, I guess. You never were one to take any responsibility seriously."

Khan grinned. "Sticks 'n' stones, chief," he said curtly, starting to hop from one foot to the other. "Now, come on. Let's do this."

"Spectre versus Khan Lei. Fight!"

Spectre didn't need to be told twice. He attacked Khan immediately, finally having the chance to let loose a surge of fury that he had been harboring towards the tiger for the last year. It was Khan that had set him up during the previous Tournament, causing much grief in his life. It was Khan who had almost handed the Tournament, and the Lands, over to Nobu Ra' Chi.

The skunk's attacks were hard and fast. He was throwing stiff punches and furious kicks; none of it was particularly aimed at furthering the normal goals of Combat, but a knock-out would obviously make a Carnality easier. Plus, decking the tiger would feel real good.

The majority of Spectre's training had been in the style known as Inseguri. It was a well-thought of style that focused on strikes to throw an opponent off balance and keep them on the defensive, allowing the attacker to pick and choose opportunities to move in for sexual advances. Spectre was doing just that, as Khan was clearly becoming overwhelmed by the flurry of strikes that the skunk was throwing.

Khan was certainly surprised at how aggressive the skunk was. He knew that he would need to get momentum rolling in his favor quickly, before Spectre either forced him out-of-bounds or outright knocked him out.

Thinking quickly, Khan ducked low under one of Spectre's high punches. Just as he thought, Spectre brought a knee up to try and connect with the tiger's face when he ducked; Khan caught the skunk's thigh, hugging it tightly before he stood up, throwing Spectre completely off balance and onto his back.

Spectre hit the ground hard, but Khan was quicker than the skunk was. The tiger dropped a hard kick into Spectre's chest, leaving him breathless for a long moment. Khan quickly rolled Spectre to his side and got on the skunk's back, locking his arms around Spectre's neck and his legs around his waist. It was a common hold, but a good, effective one.

The skunk struggled to break free as Khan began to grind his crotch up against Spectre's ass, under his tail. The presence of pants on both fighters kept the motion from being more than a tease, but with the energies of the arena in play, it was more than enough to get a groan from Spectre and a stiffening of his cock.

Fortunately, Spectre had a distinct advantage when it came to escaping holds. As Khan tightened his grip and rubbed harder against the skunk's rear, Spectre focused, and his body became intangible, phasing through the tiger's arms and legs. Khan growled as the skunk escaped, literally slipping through his fingers.

Both competitors got to their feet, preparing to lock up again. Spectre's form became solid again, as the skunk didn't want to exhaust his specialty too soon; Khan seemed to wait for Spectre to make the next move.

At least, that's what Spectre thought at first. He was about to try and sweep in for a takedown on the tiger when Khan grabbed at something on his own arm. Spectre wasn't sure what the tiger was grabbing at, not even when Khan seemed to throw the whatever-it-was at the skunk. All he saw was a black flash, and then something wrapped around his left wrist, tugging his paw into the air, lifting him off his feet.

Khan grinned and grabbed at another spot on his arm, once again throwing his paw out afterwards. Another black object wrapped around Spectre's other wrist, tugging his paws up above his head. It was then that he finally realized what Khan was doing: He was actually pulling the stripes off of his coat, and somehow controlling them.

Spectre tried to phase through the stripes. He turned intangible again, but to his dismay the stripes held tight. Somehow they cancelled out his abilities, meaning he was going to have to think fast and get out of this one on his own.

Khan chuckled as he watched the skunk try and sneak out of his stripes. He grabbed another stripe off of his coat and hurled it at Spectre, watching the black streak slide up the skunk's leg and under his pants. Specter moaned aloud as he felt the stripe suddenly wrap around his half-erect cock, stroking and tugging at it firmly.

"You know, I got a question for ya'," Khan said, stepping up to the squirming skunk. "What was your ma and pa, that they turned out a weird lookin' thug like you?" Khan yanked Spectre's pants down around his knees, letting his stripe-encased cock bounce free. The stripe was going to town on the skunk's erection, pumping up and down it and swirling around the head, and his dick responded by throbbing hard, the tip leaking precum freely. Khan grabbed his balls and squeezed, grinning as the skunk writhed more, his sac being slowly massaged.

It was difficult, almost impossible, for Spectre to push his mind past the pleasure and past the fog that was clouding over him. The fact that he hadn't yet given in yet was a testament to his Combat training and his experience, but there was something more there for him. It was the strong desire not just to win, but to shut Khan's mouth.

The tiger was so busy watching Spectre's cock and fondling his balls that he didn't notice the skunk shaking his head free of the pleasured-haze. Suddenly, Spectre brought both knees upwards, and hard; he was being held at just the right height so that his knees drove into either side of Khan's ribs, dropping the tiger to his knees in agony. Khan's control of his stripes disappeared, and Spectre was dropped to his feet.

Spectre quickly pulled up his pants and swung a swift kick into Khan's chest, connecting his shin across the tiger's pectorals. Khan grunted and fell backwards, wheezing and gasping as he tried to suck air back down. As adrenaline took over for the tiger, he scrambled back up, swinging back at Spectre.

The two fearsome competitors began grappling and striking at each other with zeal. Blow after blow was thrown and blocked, thrown and connected; they repeatedly locked up, sometimes with Spectre in control, fondling the tiger and rubbing his erection, sometimes with Khan in control, trying to tease the skunk behind his balls. It didn't take long before both males were naked, sporting raging erections, rubbing hotly against one another in an attempt to take control of the other's body and lusts.

Spectre knew he had his paws full with Khan. The tiger seemed just as determined to win, and while Spectre was confident that he could pull a victory out, he knew he was going to have to take advantage of anything that was at his disposal.

That included the boundary line. He wanted a win by Carnality, but the skunk knew that a win was a win. If it would have to be by a boundary call, so be it.

The skunk had managed to put distance between himself and the tiger once again. Several times during their lock-ups, Spectre had tried to phase through the tiger, but each time Khan had blocked him by hanging on with one of his stripes. The tiger was obviously both aware and wary of Spectre's abilities.

There were, however, other ways to skin a cat. Spectre knew that Khan expected him to use his abilities to get out of holds. That could work to his advantage.

Carefully, Spectre began to work Khan back towards the boundary line with a sudden series of measuring blows. Khan was careful himself, staying out of reach of the strikes, but staying well away from the boundary line as well. Once Spectre had the tiger with his back to the line, he made his move.

Spectre rushed Khan, running straight at him with his shoulder low, aimed at the tiger's belly for a spear or a takedown. Khan reacted accordingly, dropping low to try and catch the skunk and, presumably, toss him around and out-of-bounds. Just as Spectre was about to connect, and as Khan was about to grab him, the skunk phased his body out.

Khan blinked as the skunk literally passed through him. He realized his mistake, and what Spectre was up to, all too late. The skunk was now behind him and no doubt solid once more. Sure enough, Spectre's arms were suddenly around his waist, and Khan roared as he was hurled around, thrown bodily backwards, his back slamming against the surface of one of the glittering crystals.

Spectre panted and stepped back, watching the tiger try to scramble up and back into the arena. The sunk immediately noticed something strange: Khan's reflection in the crystal was not back to back with him, as it should have been; it was facing Khan's back, and grinning.

Khan never made it back into the arena. His reflection literally reached out and grabbed him, pulling the tiger roughly back against the crystal. The Khan clone held him securely around his chest while the real Khan struggled and grunted.

Suddenly, Spectre saw other crystals giving up reflections. Many mirror Khan and Spectres began to step out from the reflective surfaces, all heading for the captured Khan. As the real tiger fought, he soon found himself overwhelmed by black-and-white skunks and familiar tigers, each grabbing a limb to pull him down to the ground, pinning him on his back. A Spectre pulled Khan's legs up, hooking them over his shoulders as a cock was driven into his ass; another Khan grabbed the real Khan's erection, stroking it fast and hard before leaning down to deep-throat the throbbing cock.

The bizarre gang bang continued, with the real Khan fucked and sucked until he came with a roar, his dick spurting cum across his belly while his captors worked at him.

"Arena disqualification. Spectre wins."

Spectre watched in lurid fascination as many mirror images of himself gangbanged Khan. One of the Spectre's looked up and caught the real Spectre's eye, and it grinned whispering an otherworldly invitation to the skunk. It's eyes were hollow voids that sent a shiver up Spectre's spine.

He quickly looked away and rushed out of the arena, still naked and hard, leaving Khan to the doppelgangers. Suddenly, Spectre was very, very glad that he had won this particular match.

Suki knocked on Reiko's door. When no answer came, she knocked again; this time, she heard footsteps approaching from the other side. The door opened a crack and Reiko's face appeared, but she immediately frown upon seeing the rabbit.

"What do you want?" The wolfess asked sharply, catching Suki off guard with the uncharacteristically rough question.

"Huh? I just wanted to check in on you before bed, Rei'," Sukie said, using her pet name for Reiko. "Houses have to stick together, you know."

The wolfess smirked. "Funny, that," she said. "You didn't seem to have that attitude this morning, when you were talking to Khan."

Suki blinked. "Talking to Khan? What? I haven't talked to that jerk since I got here. I wouldn't talk to him, either. He's crude," she said, confused.

"Oh, don't play stupid with me, Suki. I heard the whole conversation, and you know what? I'm tired of everyone trying to corrall me around, making me what they want me. I'm tired of being the little sister and the little girl that needs everyone to guide and protect me. Most of all, I don't need two-faced friends."

With that, Reiko slammed the door in Suki's face. The rabbit stood there a moment, stunned. Not only was it incredibly unlike Reiko to be so...harsh, so cold, but the comment about Khan was absolutely baffling. She hadn't had any contact with Khan since the last Tournament. What was Reiko talking about?

Suki turned and headed back to her room, terribly upset, and with Reiko's works echoing in her ears for the rest of the evening.
