Grocery Store Friday (Babyfur short story)
Here is another short story with my fursona, Jake Draggie. This time, he's going to Kroger with his mommy.
"Grocery Store Friday"

It was a lovely Friday in the town, and things were going well at Kroger. A one year old dragon and his mother had just arrived at the store looking to get groceries for that week. Walking into the shopping cart area, the hatchling's mother put him into the shopping cart and then went into the store to begin their grocery trip. The first stop on the trip was the produce aisle where the mother stopped and picked up her list to see what was needed from that particular aisle. "Hmm," she said "We'll need a salad kit," she said getting one from the refrigerator containing it "As well as two potatoes to have baked potatoes for dinner, and...."
"Bananas!" The hatchling said clapping his paws together "Yes, sweetie, bananas. Your favorite." The mother replied.
Going over to the banana section of the produce aisle, she found some that were not too green and not too rough looking, then after putting them into the cart continued with the trip.
Going past the deli counter and the cheese counter, she found some bakery items on a table that were on sale with a kroger plus card. Looking about the table, finding cookies, croissants, and such, the hatchling called for his mother
"What is it, Jake?" She asked her hatchling "Paci pwease!" Jake asked "Of course, sweetheart."
She replied taking his pacifier out of his diaper bag and placing it in his mouth. As Jake began to suck on it, the two dragons went on towards the meat and seafood aisle where pre-packaged meats were kept.
After finding some meat to use to make spaghetti with, she headed on to the cub care aisle where she picked up some new bibs for Jake as well as a package of Pawpers Cub Dry as well as some cub wipes. After getting what was needed from the cub care aisle, the two went to the soda aisle, where Jake's mother put a twelve pack of coke zero sugar in the cart, Jake looked around the aisles as he rode through them in his seat, through cereal, potato chips and crackers. When he saw that he and his mother were in the cookie aisle, his eyes widened, as he took his pacifier out of his mouth and said "Cookies!" "Yes, sweetie cookies." His mother replied. "Can I has cookies, pwease? Pweety pwease?" His mother nodded and asked "What kind of cookies would you like?" "Oweos, pwease."
Jake replied, his mother grabbed a package of Oreos and put them in the cart. Sometime afterwards, whilst heading towards the bread aisle, Jake's mother noticed her hatchling squirming when she asked what was wrong, Jake replied "Changies, I's need changies.." "Are you wet?" His mother asked, Jake nodded. Later, in the restroom, Jake's mother powdered him and taped a fresh diaper on him, put his overalls back on him, and went back to shopping, getting TV dinners and Ice Cream.
Soon, the Draggies had gotten everything that was on their grocery list, went towards the checkout line, paid for the groceries and headed out. Jake's mother first put her hatchling in his car seat, loaded the groceries into the back of her car, and headed to a Captain D's where she ordered lunch and headed home. As she ate her food, she gave Jake his bottle to drink from. Soon, after she had finished his lunch and after Jake had finished his bottle and burped him, she put Jake down for his nap, having finished another successful grocery run.
