Dear Chase,
I was touched by the letter that you wrote me. I have been meaning to talk to you about it for awhile. You haven't shown up for school in like a week. I tried to approach your brother while he was walking home but he seems too depressed to talk. From that impression I had feared the worst. I had been keeping this a secret until now, but I love you Chase. Don't think I wouldn't remember what you did for me back at swim camp, it was very noble of you. I just haven't been able to come to terms with my sexuality. When that freshman Kyro or whatever his name was came out of the closet that severely discouraged me from doing the same because of how he was treated. I purposely avoided you because I was afraid of what my peers would think of me If they saw us together. You aren't exactly the most masculine guy either, not to mention we don't have too much in common, so I thought people may think that we were in love. As I look back on those thoughts I realize now that i will no longer feel ashamed to call you my boyfriend. From the day that we met at school I had a feeling that we were meant to be. My heart beat faster whenever you approached me. It was almost as if our spirits formed a bond. When I saw you in high school I easily recognized you but, also saw you as a different person from who you were at camp. I had noticed you went through changes, and you seemed to be straying away from that innocent pup you once were. I suspected that you had problems or issues with your life, but don't let it get the best of you. If you give in to your emotions you might end up doing something stupid like committing suicide. If you need to chat don't be afraid to call me back. I will be there for you <3
