It's kind of an experiment for me, because I rarely write stories in English, since it isn't my native language. I apologize for any mistakes or weird sounding sentences. This is rather simple, and a bit cliche story about a guy whose love interest turned out to be a werewolf, that I tried to keep mostly wholesome. I hope you'll enjoy it anyway! I'm of course open to any criticism, both about my language skills and the story quality itself.

Update: I fixed some issues with the language and the story itself thanks to the suggestions of BlitzkriegBomber. Tank you again for your help!

Her name was Elizabeth, and she was the most wonderful girl Dan has ever met.

He met her for the first time on the first day of the semester. He just moved to Vancouver in order to study at the university. He wasn't exactly lonely back then - he moved here with two of his friends - but only he studied Asian languages and cultures, and he had a vastly different schedule, so he had to face the fact that he wouldn't see them for most of the week.

Dan initially didn't really pay much attention to Elizabeth, even though she was sitting next to him during their first lecture. He was still far too stressed because of moving into a new place and starting his college education to actually pay attention to anything besides the classes. Moreover, he had always been shy and introverted, so he was reluctant to even talk to anyone during those first days.

He actually couldn't recall when they started talking more regularly. They exchanged some short conversations occasionally, and they started greeting each other every day. The first longer conversation with her that he could recall was when the professor started teaching about the Xia dynasty.

'Did you know that they were actually considered to be mythical until recently?'

'Hm?' Dan lifted his eyes from over his notebook, scatterbrained. 'I'm sorry, but could you repeat?'

The Xia dynasty,' Elizabeth explained. 'Up until the 1960s most historians questioned their existence. Although they ruled over quite a prominent empire - even if much smaller than the ones of their successors - and they were mentioned in some ancient records, their entire existence was debatable until quite recently. Considering how well documented most of Chinese history is, the lack of any major information about the origins of China must have been quite a nuisance for 20th century historians.'

'I wouldn't be surprised,' he smiled. 'How do you know so much about Chinese history?'

'Oh, I wouldn't call it much. I've just always been interested in Chinese culture so I read and watched a bit about its history. I still have a lot to learn.'

'Cool! I also like China, but I was always more interested in Japanese culture,' said Dan.

'Japanese?' Elizabeth looked at him with a smirk. 'Are you a weeb, Dan?'

'Well...' Dan blushed with embarrassment. He didn't like to admit it, because of a huge stigma surrounding anime and other parts of Japanese pop-culture, but it was true. 'Yeah, I suppose so. But I was talking about its rich history and culture, not anime!'

'Don't worry, I'm just messing with you!' she smiled at him. 'I'm also a weeb myself.'

'Seriously?' asked Dan, very surprised. 'You? I would have never guessed! You don't seem like it, to be honest.'

'Appearances can be deceptive, Dan,' Elizabeth smirked.

They started talking with each other much more often since then, and would often hang out together after lectures. They were both very enthusiastic about Asian cultures and often discussed the topics of their classes together. Dan was always a rather good student, but he never felt as engaged with the topics of the lessons as he did in here, in college. He wasn't sure whether it was because he actually cared about the subjects this time, or because he had a great partner to debate with. Perhaps both.

To his surprise, Elizabeth was quite a huge nerd, although far more outgoing than he was. They shared interest in fantasy books and movies, even if they often argued which ones are good and which are bad. Dan still couldn't understand why she liked "Shiver" so much.

'I think of it usually as a guilty pleasure,' she would say. 'However, there is something special in this book, so that every time I'm re-reading it, I find myself liking it unironically. It's a bit hard to explain for me...'

Their friendship was growing over the course of the first semester. Dan soon started considering her to be one of his closest friends. He wasn't afraid to tell her about anything, including some of his embarrassing secrets, like the fact that he actually had enjoyed watching Sword Art Online.

To his own surprise, Dan slowly started craving for something more than just friendship. He started noticing her beauty, hearing her voice always made his day brighter, and he always tried to spend as much time with her as possible. He knew, however, how unlikely it was for her to return his feelings. He felt as if he didn't have any traits that someone would find particularly attractive; in his mind he was average or below average in every way, whether it was his physical appearance, any talents or skills, or his charisma.

Well, at least that's how it had been before one particular party. He didn't really enjoy parties, although he was far from hating them. His friends, including Elizabeth, dragged him along. He was rather bad at dancing so he spent most of the time there just chatting with some people.

Dan might have drank a bit too much that night. It had its pros and cons. He usually found conversing with strangers to be much easier for him when he was drunk, but, the downside was, he would often lose any control of what he was talking about. Even though the memories of that night were a bit vague to him now, Dan was pretty sure he tried to convert some poor random student to the cult of Artemis, and he got into a heated argument with Alex, one of his friends from his hometown, about why Lion King 2 was better than the original.

Those weren't the reasons why Dan still thought about that party, however. At one point he felt like he needed to clear his head a bit, so he went outside hoping that the cold November air would help him.

The house in which the party was held was built on a small hill on Vancouver's suburbs, and it had a terrace overlooking the nearby woods. The view was quite stunning, especially on a cloudless night like that. Even in his state, Dan could appreciate that view. He also noticed he wasn't the only one there.

'Oh, hi, Ellie!' he exclaimed, a bit too loud. 'What's up?'

Elizabeth turned around surprised, but she smiled when she realized it was Dan.

'Hello, Dan,' she said. 'Are you having fun?'

'More than I thought I would, actually.' Dan grinned. 'I just need to... cool off a bit. This wine was so good I feel like I'm going to faint.' Dan tried to make a joke and ignore the dizziness in his head. 'What are you doing here?'

'I also needed to cool my head off a bit.' Elizabeth turned to the view of the night sky over the forest. 'It's beautiful today, isn't it?'

'Yeah, it is...' Dan desperately tried to think about something he could add to the conversation. 'The moon is especially pretty tonight. It looks quite nice over this forest, surrounded by stars, I suppose.' The Earth's satellite had a crescent shape that night and was clearly visible due to the lack of clouds.

'The moon?' asked Elizabeth, surprised. 'I see what you mean. Though it would be more beautiful if it was in another phase today, at least in my opinion.'

It would take some time before Dan understood what she meant by that.

At that moment another thought was occupying his head. To his drunken self, back then, it might have seemed like a plausible thing to do. He knew he wouldn't be able to gather the courage to say it out loud in normal circumstances.

Dan look into Elizabeth's eyes and said with confidence that was barely ever present in him:

'You know what? We should go together on a date someday.'

Elizabeth looked at him, shocked. She seemed completely taken aback by what he said. However, after a few seconds during which Dan realized what he had actually done, she smiled again.

'Sure,' she answered in a happy voice. 'We'll talk about the details - and if you actually want to do it - on Monday, when you get sober, okay?'

'Yeah, that sounds like a good idea...' Dan wasn't sure whether everything around him was spinning because of what just happened or because of the alcohol he drank. 'I think I'll go home now, while I still remember how.' He quickly walked away before Elizabeth was able to stop him.

To his surprise, Elizabeth wasn't joking and when they met on Monday. She actually wanted to still go out with him. She actually was more enthusiastic about it than Dan was, at least on the outside, since on the inside his heart was racing. They went together to the cinema to watch a movie; Dan thought that they should go watch a romance movie, since it was technically a date, but Elizabeth insisted that they go on a newest cliché horror movie about a werewolf.

Dan had really had fun that night. Even the movie turned out to be really enjoyable, even unironically. It didn't really differ from the times when they would casually go out as friends... Aside from one key difference. When Dan drove her back home, she turned to him before she left his car.

'Thank you for today,' said Elizabeth, as she leaned over him and gently kissed him on his lips.

It's been slightly over a month since their first date. They only went out together about four times in this time, because they both had a lot of work to do for college. But each of those dates were wonderful. However, Dan wasn't entirely sure about the status of their relationship. They kissed quite a few times and they both clearly liked each other but he never called her his girlfriend nor did she call him her boyfriend.

None of them also said that they loved the other one. Although Dan clearly knew he did love Elizabeth, he wasn't sure whether she would love him back. He wanted to talk with her about the state of their relationship, but he wasn't confident enough to do so, since he didn't want to accidentally ruin their friendship.

It was Friday in the middle of December and Dan just finished his classes. Despite that, he wasn't going home yet. He was waiting for Elizabeth.

After around fifteen minutes she walked out of the university building, and when she noticed Dan, she walked over to him.

'Hi, Dan! How are you?'

'Fine, thanks...' Dan stuttered for a moment. Even though they were technically together, and he's done it already before, asking Elizabeth out always required summoning a huge amount of confidence for him. 'I was wondering whether you would like to go out somewhere with me today. If you have time, I mean, of course...'

Elizabeth's smile left her face.

'I'm sorry... I have a lot of work to do this evening, but...'

'Oh, that's okay, I understand,' said Dan, blushing. 'Maybe some other day we'll...'

'Wait, you didn't let me finish!' laughed Elizabeth. 'I'm busy in the evening, but during the afternoon I'm free. I need to be at home, though, so going somewhere else is out of the question for me today. You can come over if that's okay with you! We can watch something together or do something else, if you want.'

'Okay, sounds good,' Dan responded, trying to hide his joy. 'So... I'll meet you at your house, then! See you in thirty minutes.'

They parted, and both of them got into their own cars. Elizabeth lived on the outskirts of the city, so it would take a while to get to her house.

Dan was originally planning to take Elizabeth to a restaurant in a city centre and then buy some presents for her in a shopping centre. He was a bit disappointed that it didn't work out, but at the same time he was just happy to spend time with her.

Dan got stuck in traffic for a while, so he arrived at his destination a bit later than he planned. Elizabeth's car was already there, so she probably had slightly more luck on the road than him. Having parked his car on the driveway, he went to the door and rang the bell.

'Just a minute!', he heard the familiar voice belonging to the girl he fell in love with. Elizabeth opened wearing a much more casual clothing than when he last saw her in the university. She wore blue jeans and a black t-shirt of her favourite band. Her long light-brown hair was loosely braided so that a few strands almost covered her azure eyes.

'What took you so long?' she teased him, grinning.

'Sorry, I got stuck in traffic. It's not my fault that I have to drive through half of the city to get here. You might as well live in the USA, and even then it'd be easier to get to you' he replied, simulating annoyance in his voice.

'Okay then, if you say so. I was worried you got lost and ended up in Quebec, or something,' laughed Elizabeth. 'Are you coming in, or not?'

Dan gladly accepted her offer, and walked inside. He's been in Elizabeth's house a few times, but he still liked how it contrasted his own apartment. Even though they were approximately the same size, her house always seemed more spacey to him. Maybe it was because the rooms were bigger, or maybe because there weren't five other people there with whom he had to share his apartment.

Most of the furniture here was also rather old-fashioned. Much of it seemed to have been around thirty years old. Elizabeth once told him that her parents inherited this house after her grandmother, and she decided to move in here in order to attend the university.

Some of the furniture had peculiar marks as if some animal scratched them with its claws. Dan decided to bring it up.

'These?' said Elizabeth. 'Oh, right... Well... My grandmother used to have a cat called Dennis. I've heard he was quite a fearsome beast. She would always complain how he ruins her furniture and curtains.'

Dan's parents also had a cat, so he noticed that no cat could have made such marks, unless Elizabeth's grandmother had a tiger in her house. He didn't want to come off as nosey, however, so he didn't question her more back then.

Dan followed Elizabeth to her living room, put his bag containing books and his laptop somewhere in the corner, and sat on a couch. Elizabeth disappeared behind the door leading to the kitchen.

'Would you like anything to drink?' she exclaimed loudly from the other room.

'Maybe red wine, if you have it? But not too much, since I need to drive back home later.'

A few moments later Elizabeth came out of the kitchen with two glasses of his favourite alcohol.

'You know, the last time when you got drunk, you invited me on a date. I'm tempted to see what you'll do this time,' she joked.

'I really don't want to cause an accident, so I'll pass... Unless you'd let me stay here for tonight?' he said, attempting to sound flirtily.

Elizabeth's smile vanished from her face.

'I'm sorry... Today is really not a good day for that. I wish I could do something about it, but I can't...'

'Oh...' Dan's confidence crumbled. 'I forgot that you're busy tonight. I was just kidding anyway, so...'

'Let's just watch something together, okay?', Elizabeth summoned a smile back to her face.

'Okay,' he responded, also smiling. 'What would you like to watch?'

'I don't know... I was thinking about some romance movie.'

'Really?' said Dan, surprised.

'Of course not!' she snorted. 'I hate romantic movies. I still don't understand why you wanted to watch romances with me twice.'

'Because I thought that's what people usually do on dates!' he exclaimed, blushing. 'But seriously, what would you like to watch?'

'I think I've heard about some well-reviewed murder mystery mini-series recently... Give me a moment, I'll try to find it.'

The show that Elizabeth was talking about was indeed quite good. It followed the story of a detective from a big city coming to a small town in the middle of nowhere in order to solve the mystery of a disappearance of a young couple. Although the plot wasn't particularly original, Dan liked it, mainly because of excellent writing and amazing acting.

The wine in the glasses ran out rather quickly, so Dan went to the kitchen to make tea for both of them. It wasn't as romantic as wine, but at least he will be able to drive home later. At some point in the middle of the third episode, Elizabeth laid down onto him. Though surprised at first, he enjoyed the closeness of her body. He wrapped his arm around her, and they spent the rest of the series cuddling, with cups of tea in their hands.

They were about to start watching the last episode when Elizabeth looked at the clock.

'I think you should go now,' she said, a worried tone in her voice.

'Can't we at least watch it until the end?' negotiated Dan.

'No, I... I'm sorry, I'm really busy tonight. I promise, I'll finish it with you as soon as possible, but today is not the day for that.'

He grabbed his coat, put on his shoes, and was led to the door.

'I'm sorry it turned out like this,' she expressed, sadly. 'I hope you'll forgive me.'

'Don't worry about it,' shrugged Dan, smiling. 'I get that you're busy. I'm still happy you wanted to have a date today, despite that.' He then leaned forward and kissed her on the lips. They kissed for only about ten seconds, but it felt like eternity for both of them.

'I promise I'll call you tomorrow,' she said, with a smirk. 'For now, see you, Dan.'

'See you!' he smiled back, and went to his car. Elizabeth was watching him until he got in, and then disappeared somewhere inside her house.

Dan started his drive home. He realized he didn't even ask Elizabeth what exactly she had to do this evening that was so important. Some part of him was afraid that she cheated on him and didn't want to be with him anymore. He quickly suppressed these thoughts; Elizabeth wasn't a type of person that would do something like that. If she wanted to be with someone else, she would have been honest about it to him. He decided he would ask her what she was doing today on Monday.

He was around halfway to his house when a sudden realization struck him. At a red light, he looked around his car, and it only confirmed his worries. His bag was missing.

'Aw, crap!' Dan muttered to himself and turned his car around. Most of his stupidly expensive course books and his laptop--on which he had not only his notes from the classes but also his unfinished Witcher 3 save file--were in that bag. There was no way he would be able to live through the weekend without its contents. Whatever Elizabeth was doing, she would have to bear with him for a few moments more.

He pulled back onto Elizabeth's driveway. He went to the door and rang the bell. He heard some noise--as if something fell down in the house. The door opened revealing Elizabeth, panic running through her face.

'Dan? What... What are you doing here?'

'I'm sorry to bother you, but I left something important here,' he explained, smiling awkwardly.

'Dan, I'm sorry, but you really need to go!' She started trying to push him out of the house.

'I can't, I really need my bag that I left here!'

'I will fetch it for you!' she offered, seeming even more panicked than before. 'Where did you leave it?'

'I don't know, in the living room, maybe...' Before he could finish Elizabeth ran there. Dan walked into the vestibule for a moment, since it was rather cold outside. Before he could make another move, Elizabeth stormed back in with his bag in her hand.

'Here you go. Now...' Suddenly, she fell on the wall, grimacing with pain.

'Ellie!' shouted Dan, trying to hold her up. 'Ellie, are you okay?!'

'Yes,' responded Elizabeth, trying to hide her pain. 'I'm fine... Please, go!'

'I can't leave you like that! Are you ill? Should I call someone?'

'No, please, just leave!' she groaned.

'No, I...' Dan tried to protest, and insist to help, when he noticed something strange was happening with Elizabeth's hands.

As she tried to prevent her fall by leaning against a chest of drawers standing in the vestibule, patches of thick, dark-gray hair started growing on her arms. They also got more muscular, compared to their previous slimness. Her nails became black, elongated and sharpened to the point where they looked as if they were animal claws.

Elizabeth's arms were not the only one affected by the changes. Dan noticed that she tried to take off her socks using only her toes, but she wasn't fast enough, so they tore as her feet elongated and took a more digitigrade stance. The same hair he saw on her hands also started covering her feet as her toenails became long and sharp.

'Ellie? Elizabeth, what's happening to you?!' he questioned terrified, not being able to comprehend what he was seeing.

'I told you... To go...' she uttered, trying to ignore the immense discomfort and even pain caused by what was happening to her.

Elizabeth's jeans and shirts started tearing due to the pressure from growing body muscles. Gray fur, that was now beginning to cover her torso and the rest of the legs, was showing through the cracks in the fabric. The clothes managed to somehow not be completely destroyed by the transformation, but Dan could see they were so tight around her body that they were almost at the point of fully breaking.

A bulge started forming in the lowest areas of Elizabeth's back, trying to break free from the remnants of her jeans. Finally the fabric gave up and a furry appendage started growing as an extension of her vertebra. It wasn't long until she got a fully grown, one meter long tail covered in light-gray fur.

Apart from some minor areas of her body, only Elizabeth's head remained almost untouched by the transformation, but that would soon change as her jaw slowly started pushing forward into a muzzle. Her nose flattened and darkened into a wet animal nose. Short hair covered all of what used to be her face. When she let out a short growl caused by the experience, Dan noticed that her mouth - or rather a maw now - was filled with long sharp teeth, excellent for hunting prey.

Her ears became pointy and slightly longer, as they moved closer to the top of her head. Elizabeth's original light-brown hairs looked like they were being integrated into the gray fur that covered the rest of her body.

It seemed that her changes were over. Dan was still mortified by what he just saw, but couldn't do anything except stand and watch. A part of him wanted to run away but something inside was somehow stopping him.

Elizabeth - or at least the creature she turned into - was trying to stand back onto her feet, tired and panting because of the transformation. Even though she and Dan were originally roughly the same height, Elizabeth was now almost a head taller than him and her figure was also much more athletic than before. Her whole body was now covered in a gray fur, lighter on her belly and neck. The ruined clothes were still covering parts of her body.

'Elizabeth...?' Dan finally managed to utter. 'Ellie? Is this... You?'

She raised her head and looked onto him. Her blue eyes still looked similarly to how they used to, although they seemed to be glowing, probably due to the reflected light. Her muzzle, despite looking fully animalistic, was still able to show the emotions of its owner. In this case: immense sadness and regret.

'Dan...' she stuttered out, her voice sounding slightly deeper than it used to before. 'Dan, I'm so sorry... Please, don't be scared! It's still me...'

'Ellie...? What happened to you?' asked Dan, both concerned and confused, still unable to do anything other than talk. 'Are you...?'

'A werewolf, yes.' Tears started forming in the corners of her eyes, then disappearing somewhere between her wolf fur covering her muzzle. 'I'm not going to hurt you. I'm sorry... I didn't want you to see me like this... I didn't want you to know.'

'Since when...?'

'Since when am I a werewolf?' Elizabeth tried to smile slightly, but with her new maw it came out rather strange. 'Since always, basically. My parents were like this, so I inherited it after them. It isn't usually a problem... Unless I want to get closer with someone,' she sighed. 'My last partner ran away from me as soon as he found out. I should be grateful that he didn't tell anyone, at least... I wanted to keep it hidden from you. I wanted to try to have a normal relationship with you. I shouldn't have met with you today, just before full moon, but I thought I could salvage some time with you. I suppose you would have found out one day anyway, so I only sped up the inevitable,' she chuckled awkwardly.

Dan was silent, not knowing what to say.

'I... I understand if you won't ever talk with me again after this' she said, trying to suppress her tears. 'I understand if you want to leave me. I don't blame you... After all, who would want to be with me knowing the truth.' She hid her eyes in her paw-like hands, letting all the tears flow.

Dan was looking at her, trying to collect his thoughts. She looked so far from what he was used to, up until now. She looked so inhuman that Dan didn't see many traces of the previous Elizabeth, except maybe her eyes. Part of him was afraid that she would lose control over herself and kill him.

But at the same time Dan knew it was his old Elizabeth inside. She talked the same, had the same personality, and even similar body language, at least as possible as it was in her werewolf body. He knew she wasn't going to hurt him. And he saw how sad and anxious she was right now. He realized how much she didn't want this exact situation to happen, but she took the risk by having a date with him today, and was now afraid of the consequences.

Dan slowly forced himself to take a step towards the crying werewolf, then another one. He slowly approached her, and then he took her by surprise by embracing her with his arms. Her fur was scratching his face but he didn't care.

'Dan...?' she exclaimed, surprised. 'What are you...?'

'I don't care if you are a werewolf,' he said, smiling. 'It's still you, so it doesn't matter.I don't know why you thought I could just leave you. You'll have to deal with me for a long time. Being a werewolf isn't enough to get rid of me,' he joked.

Elizabeth hesitantly returned the hug.

'But why? Even if you aren't afraid of me, I'm not a normal human, and I'll never be. Why do you still want to be with me?'

'Because I love you, Ellie!' he finally confessed. It wasn't how he had imagined this moment would look, but somehow the tension and unusualness of this situation helped him be open with his feelings. He looked up and noticed that wolf muzzles were apparently very good at showing surprise. Dan reached to her head and gently kissed her on the nose. He wasn't sure why he did that. It just felt right at this moment.

Elizabeth finally gave in and melted into his embrace.

'I love you too, Dan', she smiled, still crying, but this time not because of sadness, but because of an overwhelming sense of relief and happiness. Dan noticed that she started wagging her tail, probably involuntarily, which he found strangely cute.

After many minutes of embracing each other, Dan let Elizabeth go.

'Maybe we'll move somewhere more comfortable, like the couch,' he suggested. 'Then you'll tell me everything about being a werewolf, okay?'

'Okay,' she smiled, and this time it actually looked very sweet and genuine.

As he followed Elizabeth to the living room, Dan admired her new body. He always liked animals, and wolves were one of his favourites, so he actually found his partner's new form to be quite cool. And despite her very wolfish appearance, there was still something familiar about her, which actually caused him to find her surprisingly cute now.

Dan sat next to Elizabeth on the couch. He was considering moving a bit closer to her, but he realized she still wasn't as comfortable near him in this form, so he gave her some space.

'So... What do you want to ask about?' asked Elizabeth, a bit shyly.

'I don't know where to start...' said Dan, excited. 'How does it feel to be a werewolf?'

'That's a very broad question,' she laughed. Dan noticed she took her tail into her paws and started petting it. He started to wonder what it feels like to pet one's own tail. 'What do you mean exactly?'

'Well.. For example, do you have any wolfish instincts or does the transformation only change your physical appearance?'

'Oh, I definitely want to do more... Well, wild stuff in this form,' she said. 'I actually usually spend full moons in the forest outside my house, giving much more into my instincts. As weird as it may sound to you, it is just extremely enjoyable and liberating. And I also have a much bigger craving for meat,' she smiled. 'But I can mostly suppress my wolf side if I want to, just like I'm doing now, so don't worry.'

'Now? Would you eat me if you didn't want to control yourself?' he joked, although he hoped she wouldn't say yes.

'Eat you? Of course not! I've never even felt like I wanted to eat a human. But when it comes to you... Well, let's just say that the other side of my wolf instincts has some plans for you,' she grinned her sharp teeth playfully at him.

'Okay, then...' Dan quickly tried to think of another question, not knowing how to respond to that innuendo. 'How often can you change? Is it only during the full moons?'

'No,' she shook her head, which made her fur slightly tousled. 'I have to change during the full moon, but aside from that I can do that basically whenever I want. During the weekend I like to spend whole days in this form in my house, just doing regular stuff, like housework. When I was a teenager, I used to change almost every day after school and spend afternoons in the woods, but I stopped, because my grades plummeted,' Elizabeth laughed.

Dan smiled. It seemed that she was getting a bit more comfortable to be around him now.

'How does one actually become a werewolf?' asked Dan. 'You said you were born with it, but is it possible to transform someone with a bite? For example, could you turn me into a werewolf if you wanted?'

'Kind of,' she responded. 'It is actually possible to do that, but for some reason it doesn't work if the one bitten doesn't want to change. I'm not entirely sure why, and none of the werewolves I know does.'

'Okay, final question,' said Dan.

'Go on.'

'Can I touch you?' he asked curiously.

'You did, when we were in the vestibule,' said Elizabeth, slightly confused.

'But I didn't really focus on that then! I'm just curious how it feels, that's all.'

'Go on then, if you want,' she smiled.

Dan's hand reached out and dove in the gray fur covering Elizabeth's neck. It was surprisingly smooth and pleasant in touch.

'You are so fluffy!' he exclaimed. 'I could touch you forever.'

'I don't mind if you do. Hey, what are you...?' Elizabeth tried to articulate, as Dan second hand reached to the top of her head and started scratching her behind her ears. 'Hey, stop that!' But it was visible that the experience was really enjoyable for Elizabeth, as her muzzle reflected the pleasantness and comfort she was feeling from the scratching. Her tail also betrayed her, as it started wagging uncontrollably.

Elizabeth embraced Dan with her own arms and kissed him on the lips. It was a bit hard due to how her muzzle was built, but she did her best trying to find a way around it. Dan stopped scratching her for now and also put his arms around her body.

'You know, now that I know you aren't actually busy this evening, maybe we'll finish the last episode of the show?' he suggested.

'With pleasure!' answered Elizabeth, her smile not only reflected her happiness, but her tail as well. 'If you stay here for the night, we can also watch something else after that. Just let me take out the remnants of my clothes. You have no idea how uncomfortable they are getting.'

'Why not,' he smiled, before the realization hit him that he would see Elizabeth naked, even if she wasn't in her human form. 'Your couch is pretty comfortable, so I don't mind staying here.'

'Oh, as if I could let you sleep on the couch!' Elizabeth grinned her teeth at him playfully again, looking deeply into his eyes. Dan began to feel a bit like a prey, and, to his surprise, he didn't mind that at all.
