Well, about that...

Saki stepped down the stairwell into the basement level nightclub. She'd heard about the place many times but only now did she feel comfortable enough to attend. Especially since she was hungry. The pink and yellow raccoon swayed her tail as she strode into the main space of the club.

Furs of all sizes and shapes were around, talking, dancing, or observing the stage show. A mare with a stomach writhing with the forms of two smaller people showed off her grand gut while leaning back onto the brass pole. It was clear the people inside her were engaged with each other quite intimately.

Saki didn't want to stay out here and watch, however. She wanted to take after the horse's lead and eat someone. But the rules at the door were clear. No eating out in the main club. That was what the back rooms were for. The raccoon made her way around the dancefloor, careful to not get bumped into by any of the larger species, or similarly tread on the smaller ones. There were three doors. From her position she could only read the two nearest doors. The door in front of her read 'Preying Guests', and the middle door read 'Two or more Guests'.

The Procyon paused, pondering. Her stomach rumbled, only able to be felt by herself over the music. If she were to take the middle door, she would first need to hunt through this crowd and find a meal to take with her. To her understanding the door directly in front of her was one where guests were paired with an employee. She would have a menu far easier to deal with.

Decision made, Saki finished walking to the door and opened it. She stepped into the hallway beyond and let the door close behind her, dropping the loud music just to a muffled bassline. Along one wall were six doors, each with a headshot mounted in a plastic case, easy to switch out if needed. She chuckled, thinking this hallway had a lot of turnover as she rubbed along her stomach.

Upon closer inspection, the headshots also had a name, height, and weight listed beneath. She chuckled. Nutrition information. Pacing up and down the hall, she appraised each offering, before she settled on one.

Kreuz, a cross fox. He was her height and approximately the same weight as her. Good for her hunger and not too much to deal with heading home. Based on his name, she figured it was either a pseudonym or his parents weren't expecting a cross in their litter.

The little panel above the doorknob was green, indicating that the door was unlocked and available to be entered.

Saki took a deep breath and grasped the knob, twisting it and pulling the door open.

The inside of the room was decorated warmly, with a comfortable bed, as well as a small table on the opposite wall with a chair on either side, facing one another. It had the feeling of a hotel room without an affixed bathroom, though there wasn't a television either.

Sitting in the chair that faced the doorway, Kreuz was looking over his phone, which had its power cord clearly plugged in. He immediately looked up and set his phone down as the customer entered.

Saki shut the door behind her and locked it, licking her lips, before she turned around again.

The cross fox gestured to the empty seat with a charismatic smile. "Good evening. Do get comfortable."

The raccoon's stomach rumbled as she complied, sitting into the empty chair and setting her elbows on the table. "I do hope it doesn't take too long. I've never been to one of these clubs, you see..."

Kreuz chuckled. "Decided to pick on someone your own size, eh?" He playfully set his elbows on the table to mirror her posture. "It's all quite simple." His voice poured sweetly over his black lips like caramel.

"It is?" Saki asked leadingly. She hoped the explanation would be quick, and there wouldn't be much in the way of foreplay. She was getting hungrier by the moment!

"It's a better idea to go into a room that has a host employed by the establishment than some person you've only met from the public." The dark furred vulpine rested his jaw on the knuckles of three fingers while his index digit framed the side of his face up to his temple. "Perhaps it wasn't size that brought you to me. After all, your fur pattern..."

The yellow and pink raccoon perked a bit. Her fur wasn't quite the same as the typical raccoon's was, she supposed, even discounting the color. A band of yellow up the center of her face formed a cross with the ventral fur going down the underside of her muzzle and back her jawline, giving her a split mask of pink. Though pink was creeping into the crossbar as she couldn't help blushing at the way he spoke.

"We match." Kreuz chuckled.

"You're very confident..." Saki tried to turn the words back around, to regain some standing if she was to play the role she came prepared for. "Are you sure you're not a pred?"

The cross fox's brows rose sharply, the suave smile vanishing from his face for a moment. It crept back into being slowly. He shifted back to a balanced pose, resting his chin on his meshed fingers. "Oh honey... You came in the wrong hallway."

Inhaling sharply, the Procyon sat up away from the table. She had read 'preying' as hunting prey, not being prey! She looked back towards the door as she pondered bolting.

When she turned back around, Kreuz was sitting on the table, almost straddling her lap, having smoothly gotten into that position without making a sound. The handsome vulpine gently reached out and stroked the back of her neck. "Somehow, I find myself confident you don't actually mind the change in your plans..." He licked his lips meaningfully.
