Author's Note : First of all, thank you so much for reading this book and I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Nadrah Wolfcaller has been waiting a long time for her story to be told properly, and it's finally being told.

Nadirah has been with me for a very long time, although it took a few years for her to reveal all of her secrets to me. When I first created Nadirah, I knew she would be something special and important, so I chose her name very carefully. In fact, Nadirah means precious and rare. Which is exactly what she is. She is a precious and rare character that has wormed her way into my heart, and despite her imperfections, hopefully yours as well.

The world she lives in is a very hostile and unfriendly place, but like our own world, it has it's splendors and wonders as well. In following books of this series I hope to explore more of Eidra to expose both it's light and it's shadows. I hope you'll continue the journey with me.

I also can not thank my two artists enough. They do such absolutely amazing work and I feel both of them deserve much more recognition.

Amorrah Wolfmoon's website is I urge you to have a browse through her gallery and commission her for your own character or species drawings. She's a wonderfully nice person and offers great rates for her hard work.

Elba Gutierrez-Preciado can be found at where she displays her jaw-droppingly beautiful artwork. I also urge you to commission this artist if you're looking for a more realistic style. She is very detail oriented and her picture of Nadirah, which I used for the cover, is overwhelmingly beautiful. She brought my girl to life. More of her artwork will be featured in the limited edition of the book.
