Dancing Away the Human - A Poem
#1 of Owletrons' Scrap Book
A short poem about not caring if you're any good at moving your feet.
Best consumed slowly and while listening to a good song.
I don't plan on sharing many poems, but I find they can be fun to write if an idea comes to you. Even if they're just for yourself.
Dancing
When you don't know how,
Still feels good.
Two left feet don't matter.
Because you forget your human body
And find a better one
For the length of a melody.
Taken away
Carried by regret
Hugged by your inhibitions
And snuggled by loneliness
Because you forgot the song they sing
And find a better one.
