Saturday Night at Club Coven

i wrestled with this one for a bit, mostly because i wanted to practice a bit of prose. It also ended up being like 10x longer than I expected it to be lmfao. I'm crazy tired but i was hoping to get this one out to keep a consistent schedule. Not sure if the quality suffered (It probably did but I'll learn!).

I imagined a fur in a club, and when the bass dropped everyone in the club turned into sharks. So i wrote that shit.

anyway, here you go! Magic sharks in a night club.

Mark, a lion looking for a bit of intimacy, takes a drug-trip induced journey into a nightclub steeped in magic and ends up with a Saturday night that'll change his life forever.

"..Where's the bouncers and security? Is it just that one dude at the front?" Mark asked, the lion looking around the mysteriously long and multicolored black-light entrance hallway. Not a single bouncer was in sight. _This place is kind of wack, _Mark thought to himself.

He stuffed his paws into his leather jacket pockets, trying to come off as cool as a block of ice. At the end of the hallway was a pair of black curtains, like a small portal into another world; muffled EDM was playing from beyond it. Parts of the walls were adorned in what looked like graffiti runes, but he didn't recognize any of them. Along the walls of the hallway, furs of various types were holding one other close, paws rubbing up over each other and into each other's clothing; Mark blushed watching them prime each other for a hot night ahead, hoping he would add himself to the numbers.

Sophie shrugged, the dalmatian girl's skirt bouncing as she skipping ahead toward the black curtains. "They're in there, trust me. You'll understand how this all works very shortly." She said with a giggle. Mark swallowed and rubbed his half-grown in mane. The lion hadn't ever let it grow out fully, preferring to come off as a bit clean shaven especially for tonight. It had been so long since he'd even gone out, let alone wear his more tight-fitting party clothes to show off his chest and arms. He couldn't even remember the last time he spoke to anyone outside of work that wasn't Sophie.

"Did you take your edible yet?" the dalmatian asked, turning to face him. Mark reached into his jean pocket and produced a small baggie. The gummy inside was the deepest blue possible, and it even retained that color through the black-light, showing off a smiling shark-faced symbol. Looking closely at it, Mark could have sworn it practically sparkled. He opened it and took a deep breath. It was the first time he had done something like this, but he was desperate to make tonight work. No matter the cost, no matter wither the trip was good or bad, Mark -had- to take someone home tonight. Quickly, without trying to think too much and focusing on the prospect of bringing home a warm fur tonight to cuddle up to, he threw it back and chewed. Blueberry exploded in his muzzle.

"..I just realized I didn't ask what this even is." Mark said, smacking a large paw on his head. Still, he had to admit the edible went down his throat like a warm dose of alcohol and it gave him goosebumps all over. "I'm not going to flip out or have an anxiety attack, right?" He added.

"It's safe. Even if you do have an anxiety attack, trust me, just scream for help." Sophie said, motioning him to follow as she danced a little toward the curtains, "Come on! I said you and me would get laid tonight and that's still the plan. Plus, I really wanna dance my ass off."

"If I scream, you'd better save me." He said.

"You'll be saved. Trust me, this night is gonna be magical." She smiled toward him.

Following her, Mark smiled at the bubbliness of his dalmatian friend and envied her enthusiasm. The lion pulled the hood of his jacket over his head and ears, trying his best to appear like he had done this a million times before. Along the wall, the multicolored graffiti runes seemed to move a bit whenever Mark wasn't looking at them. Sophie disappeared behind the curtain and Mark was about to follow through when he heard something like the wind rushing beside him.

In the corner of his eye, leaning against the wall with her legs crossed, was a shark girl with her own hood on and a pair of ripped jeans. All of her attire told Mark to stay away but he couldn't avert his eyes.

Wait, was she there before, Mark thought? Did she just witness me do drugs? Am I tripping balls already? She was about as tall as Mark, and he could clearly see her deep green hair went past her shoulders but he couldn't see her eyes save for a faint, green glow where they would have been. She bucked her muzzle up at him with a toothy grin, showing off a set of razor-sharp fangs.

"Have fun in there, little fish." She said smoothly. All of a sudden, a spark lit in front of her. Mark noticed she had what seemed like a cigarette or a joint suddenly lit in her teeth, smoke rising from it.

"Thanks, cutie. I'll try." He said. Cutie? Are you fucking serious, dude? Mark wanted to punch himself in the stomach. It was like he had forgotten how to flirt with others, like the memory of it when he was younger had vanished from his brain. He wasn't sure if it was the gummy kicking in or his own dark thoughts were tugging at him, but already Mark's night as off to a bad start.

The lion smiled weakly and nodded to her, intending to just get into the curtains as quick as possible. His muscles wriggled and twitched as he stepped past the black curtains, suddenly overcome with blinding lights and ear-shattering music.

-

Furs of all species were spread out over the dance floor, everyone bobbing and swaying with the rhythm. Mark had joined Sophie already and the two friends jumped up and down, screaming and laughing with each other. Whatever was in the gummy had taken over Mark like a man possessed. Everything in the room was perfect; the music was bumping right as he and Sophie and the entire crowd all danced as one. Everyone seemed to be in unison; like a dance that was practiced by this group over millennia and everyone knew their part. The lion was a part of it all, at one with everyone in the room. Mark shot up into the air with all his might, eager to grab someone and start dancing with them.

Eager to hold someone, eager to be near someone and intimate. Parts of Mark knew whoever it was would most likely be gone the next day, and he didn't care; he needed this, he needed to be a part of this crowd. He needed someone and felt a surge of confidence that he would.

Looking around for a partner, it was slowly dawning on Mark just how many sharks there were in the crowd. Everyone was bumping and grinding together, and before he knew it, there were nothing but sharks on the dance floor. Stopping his bounce for a second, he turned to Sophie, who was now a black-and-white shark parody of herself wearing the same clothes and all. She danced and wagged, smiling at Mark and waving her fingered fins up and down.

She mouthed something over the music but Mark didn't hear. He couldn't. His senses were cranked up and everything was overcoming him like sand burying him alive. Everywhere he turned there were sharks. Varying heights, weights, colors and sizes but all of them sharks. Mark's heart rammed against his chest. The lion blinked and Sophie (or shark-Sophie) was gone. Just as quick as his trip started, suddenly he was as lost in the mess of sharks as a shipwrecked sailor in the sea.

A needle stabbed through Mark's stomach. Everything around him slowed down. There was no exit or escape through the crowd. I'm going to die here, he thought. He pushed through the crowd, holding onto his stomach. It twisted and writhed and knotted in on itself. Everything around him was an amalgamation of sharks and colors and undefined shapes. It was like he was suddenly caught within the bowels of Hell itself. Endless images of painful, horrible deaths circulated through Mark's mind.

"Help! Someone help!" He screamed as loud as he could under the EDM. He was powerless. He was helpless. I'm going to die here, he thought again. Quickly, it became the only thought in his head.

Then abruptly, as apparent as a glow stick, a sky-blue colored shark girl appeared through the crowd. Her colors and clothes, vibrant and neon and varying shades of azure, stood out among the black-light and strobe. Nobody around her seemed to notice her presence, yet they cleared a way for her like a Goddess on the dance floor. Her hair was short and neat and she wore a tank top with a striped short-skirt, her exposed arms and legs covered in blue runic tattoos. She locked eyes with Mark and motioned him to follow, reaching one of her fins out. Mark reached a paw to it without hesitation. She picked him up with surprising strength and easily lifted him from the floor.

"This batch is too strong for you, little fish." She said smoothly and warmly. Despite the music's volume blaring into Mark's ears, her voice was clear and distinct, "Come on. Let's get you out of here."

Mark rushed through the crowd as best he could, his paws pushing through everything and trying to fight the urge to throw up on the dance floor. His mind raced like a cheetah as he followed her. She pulled Mark into a light somewhere, in some hidden corner of everything.

The floor raced up to meet Mark's muzzle.

-

Somehow, the EDM music had been reduced to a muffle. Mark lay down and looked over everything from the green floor's point of view; no neon lights and no spray-painted walls that glowed in black-light. Just the hum of an electric light on the ceiling in a typical bathroom, big green stalls lining the walls and free-form, stylish graffiti runes covering most of them and parts of the walls. Mark tried to push himself up, panting like he had just ran a marathon.

"Ride the wave and everything will be fine." Her voice said. "Apologies, little fish. I might have made it a bit too strong. Do you like my party drug?"

Mark wanted to cling onto something but couldn't. All of his muscles ached and tensed up and he knew he could do nothing but hold on until it was over. He grit his teeth and almost wanted to scream. A part of him knew it would feel like eons until he came down. He was trying his best to look up at her and speak but every possible action he tried took great effort.

He felt her fin touch his chest. Suddenly, he was calm; like a gentle, cool misty breeze was washing over his muzzle and mind. He had the strength to stand and he did, looking the blue shark girl over. She was gorgeous up close; taller than him with an athletic frame and thick thighs; but those runes across her scales drew Mark's eyes like a magnet. Her eyes, crystalline and blue, seemed to be glowing as much as her runes did. In the unaffected light of the bathroom, she really did seem like a shark Goddess made flesh and looked eerily close to the smoking shark with the green hair from before.

"Feel better now? You certainly look better." She said, darting her eyes up and down his body. His breathing was different. It was quicker and sudden, but he felt as if he had gotten enough in one quick breath. His sense of smell was sharper than usual and he had already picked up a light blueberry-like scent from the woman. He reached one of his paws out to her, but it wasn't his paw. It was the same color but lacked fur. Darting to the mirror, he looked at someone that wasn't quite himself.

His face was slimmer, more narrow and lacked a mane, his ears pointing upward like a knife. His frame was slim and more toned and his tail thrashed behind him like a whip. Across what would have been his fur was rough, sand-paper-like scales. He opened his maw and gauged the countless rows of sharp teeth. His hair was almost the same but was a little longer, covering his eyes a bit.

I'm a fucking shark, he thought. He was colored the same as he was when he was a lion; light cream all over with his hair being dark brown. He wasn't even sure what type of shark he was, only that he was one. He laughed, pointing at the parody of himself and looking his new body over. Despite this sudden change, his mind was still plenty cloudy from the drug. He shifted and moved a bit and found it somehow easier to do so, like extra weight had dropped from him. He looked at the woman, who was smirking at watching him test out his new skin.

"Who are you and why am I a shark..?" His drugged mind managed to put together. He crossed his arms trying to come off as tougher but it felt weird and too intimidating and put them down a second later. She giggled.

"I'm Lilly, artisan of edibles and self-proclaimed dance floor lifeguard. You're not actually a shark, it's a heavy hallucination. No, I'm not a hallucination either." She said pacing around Mark and sizing him up, "It'll last for a short little while. I felt your senses overloading on the dance floor and I certainly couldn't let a cutie like you have a bad trip."

"..You saved me, Lilly." Mark said.

"Just doing my job. Hopefully, you would have done the same for me if the tables were turned. Anyway, now I'll just wipe your mem-"

Mark threw his arms around her. His new, slim muzzle went just above her ample bust but he didn't care. His heart was still racing against his chest and was sure she felt it against her. He continued to squeeze her close, holding her like a lover would. Above him, she cleared her throat a bit and tensed her muscles, clearly unsure how to respond.

"You saved me." He drunkenly mumbled again into her scales, "You saved me and I'll never forget that, Lilly."

Mark didn't care that he was a shark or that he was rolling on the drug harder than he wanted; only that Lilly had saved him from the horrors on the dance floor and that she was there. His mind had darted between a few thoughts but none of them were polite or good or didn't involve using a swearword to describe his gratitude to the woman.

Slowly, he felt Lilly's arms wrap back around him, squeezing him close.

"..Haven't had this in a bit." She said solemnly. She was holding Mark more than he was her at this point, feeling her fin caress across his hippy-like hair. Above him Lilly cooed softly, feeling her shiver a bit, "Normally everyone just says 'thanks' and then.. leaves." She said, trailing off the last word.

"They just leave you..?" Mark said. It was like he was smashed but wasn't dizzy and couldn't stop himself from speaking the first thoughts in his mind and added, "Why? I mean, your clothes look cool.. You're tall and your figure is killer.. Your drug tastes fantastic.. Cool tattoos.."

He heard Lilly scoff at that last part, "Most folks run after they learn what the tattoos mean." She said.

"I'd love to learn what each one means." Mark said, looking up at her, "or are some of them in, like.. intimate places..?"

"All of them are intimate." She said, "How much you get to see just depends on how brave you're feeling, little fish.."

He looked up at her. She was looking down at him, smiling playfully. A part of him knew his was still under the effects of whatever was in Lilly's edible, but he certainly couldn't not be appreciative of the practical shark Goddess who plucked him from the horrors of the dance floor. She was stunning as precious stones and he simply couldn't look away, not now. Not in this moment. He knew eventually she would be gone when the night was over and he had to make the best of his moment. He squeezed her close again and he felt her thick tail wrap a portion of itself around his own.

He kissed her. Despite their sand-paper-like skin, it felt smooth and he pushed himself against her, his fins beginning to explore her body. Realizing what he had just done and how quickly he was moving with Lilly, Mark shot back a bit. Opening his eyes expecting to be smacked, Lilly had her own closed and was blushing deep-blue across her cheeks, grinning toothily, her fins clutching onto Mark's body tighter. Looking at her arms, the runes across them were glowing brighter than before.

"One more, please.." She growled low, smooching him firmly but gently, like a lover laying down the law. Mark moaned softly into her muzzle, the shark woman's tongue breaching his lips while his own touched hers. Gradually, gently, one of Lilly's fins wrapped around Mark's own, their fingers twining together as the two kissed. Aside from the hum of the ceiling light was the sound of the two gently making out together, their lips breaking and touching over again. Mark's other free fin rubbed across wherever it could of Lilly, whatever it could grace of the shark Goddess that held him. He was at her mercy now and he loved it.

Lilly squeezed Mark close and forcibly pressed the nose of his muzzle down her bust again. One of her paws grabbed his wrist and continued to explore her body for him, eventually doing it himself; he traced a finger down her spine to her hips, across her toned stomach. Every muscle of hers was apparent under Mark's touch and he wished he had more fins to touch her with. One of her own had fished near Mark's belt, tugging at it. Above him, he heard the shark woman giggling like she had concocted an evil plan.

"You seem like fun.. What's your name?" She asked, swaying with him side to side as if they were slow dancing. All of her runic tattoos were glowing brightly.

"I-I'm Mark.." He tried to speak out, nervousness clogging up his throat. Don't make a fool of yourself in front of the Goddess, he thought to himself.

"I'll level with you, Mark. I haven't been intimate with anyone in a really long time.. " She leaned in, touching her nose with his own, "So, if I'm not overstepping any boundaries or anything and because you're interested in my tattoos, how about.."

He shivered all over. Nervous, but not timid or meek. Unsure, but somewhere within him confidence surged like lightning. Everything during this night had felt like it was moving too fast but here with Lilly, everything was as slow as a lazy river.

A million versions and variations of 'yes' circulated in his mind but he settled on grabbing her round, firm ass under her skirt; the shark woman squealed out lightly.

She pulled by the collar of his jacket into a bathroom stall.

-

Sitting bottomless on the closed toilet seat, Mark tried his best to keep his back straight to appear confident but knew he was hunching a bit. His new, rigid shark cock stood up and twitched, the black-as-midnight head of it covered in glistening precum. Standing like a highschool bully giving him no option to leave, Lilly was in the doorway of the stall. Without lifting her skirt, she pulled her thong down to her ankles and kicked them back. Despite the blue blush on the woman's cheeks, she was grinning and bared those razor-sharp fangs. She straddled him, his dick slipping in-between her cheeks.

"Tell me if I'm hurting ya or going too fast." She said.

Mark moaned out loudly as he felt something squeezing around the tip of his cock; with a soft grunt, Lilly was slowly beginning to lower herself onto him. He did his best to lap her neck but the woman's ass was absolutely milking Mark's cock for all it was worth, and she was just getting him in. It was like she had applied lube already and soon, she had her cheeks planted firmly in Mark's lap; his cock throbbing inside of her as she swayed. She pulled his muzzle up by the hair and kissed him again, her tongue snaking his way into his maw. She began to ride him, lifting her hips up and down.

After awhile and in unison with the muffled EDM, it was apparent that Lilly was riding Mark's dick in time with the music. Each beat, she had slammed her rear down on his crotch. With each drum, she lifted upward and started the whole process again. Up and down, up and down. Mark nuzzled into her neck and she raised her muzzle upward. Her tail was coiled around his like a python. Her arms squeezed around his head as she picked up her speed, the woman above him grunting and growling like something wild. Mark was practically being used as a sex toy and he loved it, his shark length throbbing inside of her as she rode him.

"I'm gonna cum already.." She said with a laugh, "Fuck, it really -has- been that long.." Up and down, up and down. Faster and faster. Mark almost thought her weight was going to break him. Eventually, Lilly clutched onto Mark, squeezing the life out of him. Her anal ring squeezed and milked his cock as her muscles tensed up. Mark could hear her fighting back a moan. She spasmed and writhed a bit, eventually stopping and panting, wriggling her ass back down onto Mark's crotch. Her hair hung over her muzzle, obscuring her face. Slowly, she raised it and looked into Mark's eyes.

They were glowing completely blue. Her runic tattoos were glowing blue. -She- was practically glowing altogether. Mark opened his muzzle to speak but she immediately kissed him, beginning to roughly take him again. She was riding him rougher, harder. Every time she broke the kissing, Lilly spoke in a language Mark didn't understand and kissed him again. It was clear who was fucking who here; Lilly was outright dominating him and yet, she wasn't careless or didn't seem to be using him. Almost every time the new shark was about to slip out of her or lose his seating, she would readjust for them both. Every time he gasped for air, she let him, and then promptly shoved her tongue into his throat. Just as if he was drunk, something prevented Mark from cumming but every thrust and bounce of Lilly's ass on him was better than the last.

Forcibly stuffing his muzzle into her bust, she stared her sharp-blue glowing eyes into his own and whispered, "You're fuckin' fun.. I'd love to keep you. Did you cum yet, babe?" She asked. Her eyes were fully glowing blue. Mark looked over her with wonder, and slowly shook his head. She licked her lips and pulled him out of her. Somehow, her ass was trained enough to keep all of Mark's cum in; not a single drop had gone onto the floor. Lilly knelt down and hovered a fin over Mark's cock.

"Oh, you don't have to- I mean, Lilly, I'm happy just to make you cum, you don't have to return the favor." Mark said.

"..Yeah, you're a keeper. Cum for me." She demanded. An invisible force had viced itself around Mark's cock and he groaned out; Lilly wasn't even touching him, but it felt as if a pussy was using him. His fins gripped the side of the toilets as his toes curled. Looking down at Lilly, a floating blue ring was around his dick, feeling the shark woman's free fin caressing and fondling his balls.

"Cum for me." She said again, her voice echoing in Mark's head. Whatever was gripping his cock was moving faster and faster, like someone who knew how to jerk him off just at the right pace and grip. He grit his teeth, closed his eyes and growled out like a wolf, feeling his dick spasm as it erupted cum. Something warm and squishy pressed up against Mark's cock. Looking down, Lilly had placed his spent penis in-between her cum-covered breasts, grinning up at him.

"You'll come down from the drug very shortly." She said, "When it does, I want you to go back outside to the entrance of our little club and wait there."

"W-Wait, so soon? Will I see you again?"

After some hesitation, Lilly eventually said, "..I really hope so. Close your eyes, Mark."

-

The water had gone down Mark like he hadn't had any in hours. The lion was parched and his muzzle felt like he was chewing on sandpaper. Already opening his third bottle, he peered around the street and let the cool night air waft through his fur, his tail whipping behind him. Sipping a bit, he looked at the long line of furs stretching down the block waiting to get into the club. Even from outside, the place seemed really strange; it was just a black block of a building that looked small on the outside but was definitely bigger on the inside, and had those same graffiti-runes marked over.

Taking a good look at the line up, Mark noticed something was off. They weren't moving. Come to think of it, nothing around him was; Everything seemed frozen in time. He gulped, experimentally picking up one of his water bottles and holding it in front of him and letting it go. Naturally it didn't do anything; It just floated there. I must still be high, Mark thought.

"Hey Marky-Mark." A cool voice said beside him. He jumped, his fur frizzing up as the green-haired shark girl with her hood obscuring her glowing eyes and ripped jeans from before sat down beside him. In her muzzle, she held a long joint in her teeth. She reached up and took her hood off, revealing she looked almost exactly like Lilly, but had green eyes and a green motif instead of blue. She looked more laid back and relaxed, and out in the street light Mark could see her eyes were a bit red.

"..Hey. Am I still tripping balls? Are you a hallucination?" Mark asked her. She snapped her fingers and suddenly her joint was lit and she puffed it a few times, exhaling smoke. On her wrists, the only exposed skin on her body, she too bore runic tattoos like Lilly, though hers were green.

"No and no. My sister's great at cooking up party drugs like artwork but they last as long as a two-pump chump does." She said, sticking out one of her fins, "I'm Bella, by the way. Lilly's sister and one of the other owners of our little club here."

Mark shook it, his other paw scratching his head. He looked back at the line, then at the water bottle floating in the air in front of him.

"Yeah, before you ask; I did this." Bella said, lazily motioning all around the pair, "Me and Lilly and our other brothers here, there's a long line of odd stuff that goes through our family but that's another story for another time. Long story short, each of us has our own magic that we bring to our establishment and we really like to party. We don't hurt people, we don't do anything that would scar someone, we're not a fucking cult or anything; We just like to have a good time and we like to help other folks have a good time, too. Particularly folks who are having a rough time." She said, puffing her joint and offering it to Mark, "Do you want a hit of this?"

Slowly, Mark shook his head, resolving that he had enough for one night. Bella shrugged and took another puff.

"More for me! Anyway, we don't often invite folks back due to today's very.. picky clientelle. You'd be surprised at how many people come to our place and disgrace it with their selfish 'it's-all-about-me' attitudes, but then folks like you come along and prove me and my siblings wrong." She said, puffing her joint and coughing a bit, "Anyway. My sister thanks you for being a good fuck."

"Well, your sister -did- save me.." Mark said.

"You kiss a lot for a lion, apparently. Or did she kiss you more? Be honest." Bella chuckled.

Mark rubbed his eyes a bit. This was a lot to take in and his mind was already messy from before. Quietly, he said, "Okay, wait. Are you a witch? Is magic real?"

Bella laughed, "Lilly calls us witches, but I prefer the term 'wizard' because that sounds rad as fuck." Another puff until the joint was done, then Bella tossed it; it froze in midair. "Yes, magic is real but not in the sense you think. That's why Lilly and me have these tattoos." She said, pulling her sleeve back; her arm was covered in green runic tattoos, "We can't just toss out fireballs willy-nilly or turn people into frogs. Even just this time-freezing trick took me like two hours to set up while my sister fucked your brains out. Obviously, we only open one night a week because you can't use magic like this without attracting at least SOME unwanted attention."

Mark blushed under his fur a bit. He mustered the courage to ask, "Couldn't I just go tell the police all of this?"

"You wouldn't be the first. They certainly wouldn't be the first to not believe you, either. Magic drugs in a magic night club? Come on, Marky-Mark. Still, if too many people go tell the cops the same thing at one time.. That's a different story."

"Why are you telling me all of this?" the lion asked.

"Because you're fun. Because you gave something back to Lillly." Bella said, smiling toward him, "I'm telling you this because it means we think you're cool enough to hang out with us on our little Saturday night shindigs, if you're interested."

"But," Mark started, pointing at the huge lineup of furs along the block, "What about all these folks? Are they here every Saturday night too?"

"Some, but not all of them." Bella said, sneering at the line, "We only really invite folks back like you and Sophie; Folks who like to give as much as they get. Shows good character, y'know? We'd better hurry this up, little fish, because I'm running out of juice and you're gonna look weird talking to yourself on the street."

"..Hurry what up?" Mark asked, raising an eyebrow.

"The golden question." Bella said and turned to him, looking at him serious as stone. "We would like to invite you to be apart of our Acolyte's club. Every Saturday night, exactly at midnight, VIP entrance to the club. You know when we open so we only ask that you come hang out. Obviously if you have shit to do on some Saturday nights, we won't hold that against you but we can't really make room for those who don't consistently attend. Who knows? Keep coming often enough and we might teach you a trick or two." She said with a wink. "What do you think?" She said, picking her phone out of her pocket and looking at it, "..And no pressure or anything, but I'm gonna need an answer."

"What if I say no?" Mark reluctantly asked.

"I'll wipe your memory and we'll pretend you were never here. Lilly was going to that until you.. Well, you know. You won't get another invite, unfortunately. Sorry dude, thems the rules." Bella said. She tapped her wrist and peered at the lion.

Mark rolled his tongue in his mouth. If he got to see Lilly again, what was the point of saying no? His mind was muddy, messy and almost broken, but he couldn't deny that he had an incredibly unique time here tonight. Even if he and Sophie had separated early in the evening, everything that had happened up to this point was just as intoxicating as the gummy he had taken when the night first started. Just as intoxicating as being around Lilly. He looked into Bella's deep green eyes and nodded.

"I'm in. What do I have to-" And suddenly, Bella kissed his lips. Mark didn't pull back; he give into her freely. He felt her fingers grace across the inside of his right forearm. Boldly, or drunkenly, he graced his tongue against her own and she broke the kiss with a look of regret on her muzzle.

"..Wow, Lilly was right, you -are- fuckin' fun." She said, wiping her muzzle on her sleeve with a smile, "Sucks that your night's already over. Next Saturday I'd like to sit on your face, so I'd better see you here, capiche? Say hi to Sophie for me."

The floating empty water bottle suddenly hit the grown and the line kicked up it's murmuring again. A car whizzed by. Mark turned to face Bella and looked all around himself; She was gone. Mark looked down at his forearm; a strange, P-shaped deep-blue rune was embedded deep into his fur like a tattoo.

"No fucking way." A familiar bubbly voice from beside him said. Sophie plopped herself down on the sidewalk and lifted her own sleeve, revealing another similar tattoo but hers was in the shape of an upside-down U and was colored hot red. "You got an invite! Welcome to the Acolyte club, dude! Told ya I would get you laid! Did you have fun? Which owner did you meet!? Oh, yours is blue, you must have met Lilly right!?"

Mark turned to the entrance of the club. Somewhere within the curtained darkness despite the small groups of furs being admitted entrance he saw two pairs of eyes, one green and one deep-blue, staring back at him. Both of them had their toothy grins visible in the black-light. Mark smiled at them, then looked at Sophie.

"You were right, this place is rad." Mark said, "Thanks for inviting me. Tonight really was magical. You gonna go next Saturday?"

"I go almost every Saturday!" She said, "..Will you be joining me?"

Mark turned to the entrance again. Both of the pairs of glowing eyes were gone.

"Count me in. See you next Saturday."
