This is my first story

I awoke after my first day at my new house. I hate the difference from my old house and new house. My alarm clock continued to roar the annoying buzz in my ear. "I hate this clock." I just lay there trying to tune it out not wanting to go to school or grab the clock. The incessant alarm soon got to me and I turned it off and rubbed my eyes to see what time it was. "6:47 A.M. I need to get in the shower soon."

I look around my room and it is weird to me. Boxes all over the floor, still needing to be unpacked. Clothes on the ground scattered waiting to be put away. My computer was the only thing that was in a proper place and it sat there among the clutter. The sun just broke the horizon and rose above the houses in front of my own house. It was a simple view, but the orange and yellow shades of color bursting through my window were enough to make me stay awake.

I'm a 5'11" black and silver wolf and weigh about 175 pounds. I was never too muscular, but that never bothered me. My long fur always covered what muscle I had, so its not too visible. I look at myself in the mirror in my bedroom and see that my fur is knotted due to it being dirty. I've always paid attention to how my fur looked and this was nasty and need to be treated soon. I search for my shampoo through the many unpacked boxes.

I soon find my shampoo and head to the bathroom down the hall. I turn the shower on and let the water run through my fur and try to relax for the upcoming day. I could have stayed in that shower all day but I had to go. I began to lather the shampoo and make sure to rub it in well to help smooth out my knotted up fur. The water continued to caress my body and allow me to relax. Then I dry off my fur and try not to knot it up again.

Traveling down the hall to get my clothes, I recognize my parents haven't awoken yet. I debate whether or not to wake them up after I get dressed. First I need to find my clothes. After what seems like I went through what felt like 10 or 12 pants and shirts, I decide to go with my old pair of blue jeans and a plain white shirt. I look down at my clock and it says it is "7:30 A.M." "Holy shit I'm gonna be late!" No time to wake mom and dad, I need to get to the bus stop in five minutes. As I run down the stairs, I realize I forgot my book bag. "Damn, Damn, Damn why did I have to be this dumb and not prepare for today."

I had to run almost a half-mile to make it to my bus stop on time. "Great, I already look like a dumbass. I just hope the bus is a little late today." It wasn't and I had to get on the bus panting and tired. People started to stare at me, the new kid. I had to sit next to a fox who wore a scanty top and short shorts, she was almost cute but not quite. The ride to my school seemed like an eternity as people continued to stare and whisper thoughts about. I couldn't hear any of them, but always thought the worst so I wasn't surprised if they confronted me later. I hadn't had time to explore the town or the route to my school, so I saw some new sites on the way there.

Once I arrived, the school looked as I had thought it would be and very little surprising other than the students. Plenty of cute guys and girls roamed the grounds and I couldn't help but gaze at the student body before me. Some stared back and others continued on. I had to hurry to the administrator to get my schedule and find my classes. After my first three classes, lunch came. Typical pizza and applesauce, it is funny as to how they think that teenagers think. Still people continued to stare and whisper about the new kid and I decided to sit alone. Not too soon after, a big brown Doberman sat next to me.

"Hey, my name is Jeff, oh and don't worry about the people here, they are just talkative."

"Thanks, my name is Alemane and as you have probably figured, I'm new here."

"You'll get accepted in time. Where are you from?"

"Arizona, Why?"

"No reason."

"So where are your friends at?"

"Over there."

The Doberman pointed to a round table on the edge farthest from the entrance. There were about six people over there. There appeared to be a canine, a fox, a feline, a horse, and two birds. Soon after he pointed to the table, he got up and gestured to go over there. This was quite an awkward moment and fortunate turn of events. They all looked friendly enough.

"Hey Jeff" said one birds who was a male, black, and pretty slender.

"Sup, this is the new kid, Alemane."

"Oh, a new kid. Finally, some change in this damn school!" said the male horse in a deep, powerful voice.

Going from left to right, Jeff names the others at the table. The feline was a female by the name of Cassidy, the horse a male by the name of David. The canine was a female by the name of Shannon. The fox was a male by the name of Roger. The names of the two birds were Ted and Victoria, they were twins. They all had their own little greeting as Jeff pointed to them and said there name.

Just as I started to get to know these new people, the bell rang and I had to go to class. The rest of the day was as it had been earlier with the typical "this is the new kid and say hello." Nothing too difficult so far this year and nothing to worry about. As I make my way on the bus, I reflect on what has happened in the past couple of days. The thought of having to go home is not one I'm fond of. The bus the same as it had been earlier with everybody sitting in their own groups and I sat up front and try to stay out of sight as much as possible.

As I enter my house, it has a dreary dankness that is quite fitting for this little house. My parents soon come around the corner of the kitchen and ask how my day was.

"So how did your day go at school today, anyone trying to screw you over yet?" asked my father.

"No, not yet, thankfully. It was more normal than anticipated."

The conversation began to turn awkward, and so I walk up to my room. The room was slightly illuminated by what little sunlight that was piercing the window. Everything still where it was left when I left for school this morning. The slight orange from the sun setting made the room glow with color and making it feel a little more inviting than it had been the day prior. As I walk towards my bed I drop my bag by the side of my bed and slowly descend to my bed and drift into a light sleep.
