Meals and Plans (Otherwise Untitled)

A kobold and dragon select a meal in a laundromat.
~ The laundromat was a soft rumble of clanking machines and muffled tumbles of clothes as Jake regarded the length of vending machine dubliously. The dragon glanced over to Randy, smiling at how comfortable the kobold seemed to be sitting in the corner between the massive dryer and wall wearing nothing but boxer shorts, and inquired, "So, this machine has sandwiches in a can, pizza in a can, something that starts with the letter triangle in a can, and bags of water."
~ With a glance up from his magazine the kobold replied, "Sandwiches and water sound nice; we're still having dinner with Marie later, right?"
~ The machine's controls an easier matter than decisions, Jake delicately pressing the relevant buttons, "Yup; she's got some leads for where we can go find work once this season's out.", tossing one of the water bags over to the kobold who was unpacking a small box of spices from their bag.
