~ The bridge of the wrecked ship was a study of dust and debris, with only the single terminal appearing to cling to life as the bluejay carefully worked on the wiring of the base. The flickering seemed to stabilize for a moment, before she stood and turned towards the badger who was working on the removal of a bank of pale cyan rods from under the panel he'd removed from the floor.

~ The bluejay whistled sharply to get his attention, "Oy! Beak up!", motioning at her own beak.

~ With a soft groan, the badger pulled a yellow cardboard cone from his toolbag and held it to his muzzle by pulling the elastic strip back around his head. He simply glared at the bluejay, an expression of not believing this claim of hers, while trusting her enough to oblige.

~ With a soft tap at the terminals controls, the ghostly blue hologram of a old turkey vulture shivered into view next to the captain's seat. He looked to the badger, and then to the bluejay, before giving a shrug of his wings.

~ "I know the war's over; I was scuttled, not sunk.", to the bluejay before nodding over to the badger, "I like your sense of humor. Aside from those capacitance rods your badger is taking, what're you here to steal?"

~ The bluejay seemed a tad flustered, "Well, we were hoping you'd help us steal some star charts..."
