At a party, Hayden is fascinated by the appeal of the toon dragon Turbine that has stolen the show. It's all he can think about soon after and mulls over the idea of going. Biting the bullet he goes, but is it what he truly wants?

Hayden stands by a wall, drink in hand, as his friend socializes with his other friends. The aardvark only came because Howard asked him to. What were the lion's words? "You can only stay inside your room for so long, come out and get some fresh air!" Hayden's vision is filled with Howard's mane as he patted Hayden's head. "Why are you over here? Come on, socialize!"

"Easy for you to say," Howard nudges Howard's hand away, fixing his hair and wiggling his ears, "These are your friends. I only know you."

The front door opens and a dragon with a portly belly walks in, laughing and hugging his friends. "Hey, guys!"

Howard flicks his ears and turns his attention to the commotion. "Turbine!" Howard wraps his arm around Hayden's shoulders and smiles. "Now it's a party."

"What do you mean?" Howard doesn't answer. He leaves Hayden alone and wanting further explanation.

"Turbine, glad you can make it." Howard smiles and rubs Turbine's cheeks. "I called dibs when everyone showed up."

Turbine grabs Howard's shoulders and smiles. "Awesome! I love cats." Hayden watches from afar as Turbine's smile grows wider and opens up. He recoils against the wall as the toon dragon places Howard inside.

Turbine closes his mouth shut on the lion's head. Howard's shoulders disappear into the gluttonous mouth as Turbine swallows down Hayden's friend. The aardvark watches as more and more of his friend disappears into the dragon's body, stretching his already plump belly out. Turbine slurps up Howard's tail and burps, shaking the room. Everyone around Turbine circles around him and prods his belly. It pushes back against the attention. Hayden is sure, Howard is still alive in there.

Turbine pushes the crowd about a foot away from him. The bulge in his belly travels up his chest and neck as the dragon opens his mouth up. Howard emerges from the mouth covered in drool. He sprawls out on the floor laughing. Turbine licks away at the lion's exposed belly and feet as they exit his body. "I thought we agreed on no food this time."

"I get hungry! Now, who's next?" A bunch of hands rise from the crowd around Turbine as Howard rejoins Hayden by the wall.

"He ate you."

Howard smiles and wraps his arm around Hayden. "He did. This is why I brought you. It's not entirely about meeting people, but a new experience. Haven't you always wondered what it's like to be eaten?"

Hayden looks at the ground and tugs his shirt. He feels around his stomach, a place where Howard visited and came back. "I don't know. I've never thought about it until you were halfway inside him."

"Trust me, it feels great. Turbine is gentle and sweet. He takes care of his friends, always makes sure that we are unharmed inside." As Howard continues on, Turbine swallows another of the lion's friends. Howard's voice is drowned out as Hayden watches the bulges inside the toon dragon's body move around. His face burns as that person comes back out.

"Hey, Hayden, are you okay?" Hayden snaps back and focuses on his friend.

"I just remembered, there are some papers at home I need to file. Thanks for the party, I'll see you around." Before Howard could say anything, Hayden dashes out of the house.

A few days later after the party, Hayden couldn't get the images out of his mind. Watching Howard being swallowed alive got him thinking. He leans back in his seat, still thinking of Turbine swallowing his friend. What did it feel like? Hayden thinks it's soft and squishy. Turbine will let him out, right? Hayden sits upright and grabs his phone.

Hayden: Hey, Howard. Where does Turbine live? Howard: He's my next-door neighbor. Why? Thinking of being eaten?

Howard pauses before responding with a reaffirming message. Howard tells the aardvark to stop by for a spare key. Wasting no time, Hayden grabs the keys to his car and drives to Howard's house. Along the way, he couldn't stop thinking of that gaping maw the toon dragon has. He couldn't wait to feel how squishy and wet the tongue feels against his skin.

Hayden arrives at Howard's house and raises his paw to knock on the door, but sees a message.

Hayden,

The key to Turbine's is under the mat. Next time, just wait until the afternoon, okay? It's too early to be eaten.

-Howard

Hayden grins and grabs the key from the mat. The aardvark sprints over to Turbine's house and walks in. Inside, he admires the toon dragon's simple living arrangements. As he steps into the living room, he hears loud snoring coming from the left side. Hayden walks into the master bedroom and sees Turbine sleeping away with a giant bubble coming out of his nose.

Hayden walks to the right side of the bed and pops the bubble. Turbine opens his eyes slowly and stretches. The toon dragon smacks his lips as he stares at the aardvark. "Mr. Turbine?"

Turbine nods slowly, watching this vague yellow figure in front of him. The dragon has a hard time listening fully to what Hayden is saying. "Um, well, I'm Howard's friend. I was at the party a few days ago and I want you to eat me." But he recognizes the word, "eat." Turbine sits up and turns his attention back to the aardvark and blows a puff of smoke in his face. Hayden coughs, closes his eyes, and rubs them with his paws. Turbine ensnares him with his tongue, pulling Hayden inside.

Hayden continues coughing in Turbine's mouth. The toon dragon licks over his breakfast, prodding the aardvark's cheeks with it. He licks over Hayden's eyes as he tilts his head back and swallows down Hayden's head. The aardvark's vision is clear enough for him to open his eyes. Turbine's throat is just as wet as he thought. He feels pressure around him, but the flesh is soft against his head.

Turbine is taking his time as he enjoys the aardvark in his body. Another swallow pulls in Hayden's chest and stomach. Hayden chuckles. Hayden thinks that this is how Turbine treated the guests at the party the other day. The aardvark enjoys his time inside, wishing he did this sooner. Turbine swallows Hayden down again as the aardvark's head pokes into the toon dragon's stomach.

Hayden's face crunches up as he smells the inside. Its content is deprived of food, probably not enough at the party or people at the party to sustain him. Turbine slurps up Hayden's thighs and feet, collecting the aardvark inside his stomach. Hayden curls up inside the dragon, wiggling around as Howard did at the party. He laughs around, enjoying how soft and squishy the stomach is. "Okay, are you gonna let me out now?"

No response. Instead, Turbine falls back on his bed. He closes his eyes and falls promptly back to sleep. "Hey, come on, Turbine, let me out!" Hayden struggles around as his life depends on it. The stomach senses that food has come inside and begins to work on the contents as Turbine sleeps.
