Sometimes, shoe stores run scams. Sometimes, the scammers find themselves found out by people that want the scam to keep going. And sometimes, the scammer just finds a pervert. I love it when the last one happens.

The Shoe Store Scam For Nataraj By Draconicon

Toru was the newest manager in the Seven-Star Soles franchise, a shoe store that had branches in every mall, plaza, and strip in the country. He was also the only employee in the store, which made it all the more impressive that he brought in the numbers that he did for the establishment.

It was a mystery for those higher-up than him, he knew. How did one employee, one manager, manage to bring in money and numbers that made all the other stores in the area look like they weren't even trying? How did one person manage to out-sell an entire state worth of shoe stores in one month?

Toru smiled as he thought of the frustration of the higher-ups, knowing that they wanted to copy his technique to up their profits everywhere else. It wasn't really possible, the elephant knew, but that didn't stop them from sending spies into his store to try and figure out what he was doing. They were always obvious, though, and he always ended up sending them on their way with a new pair of shoes, anyway.

The elephant leaned forward, resting one hand on his right tusk as he watched the people passing by in the mall outside. There were plenty of people that might do with a new pair of shoes, but he had yet to see one that really tickled his fancy. The morning was past, and the afternoon was coming, so he needed to -

Hello...

Smirking to himself as a green and yellow lizard walked towards his store, Toru leaned down and pulled at one of the sandals that he was wearing. The leather came free of his foot easily, a bit of sweat coming off of the interior onto his fingers. That was fine; it meant that the spell would be all the more potent.

Drawing a sweatdrop onto the sole of his sandal, he waved it back and forth through the air the way that another might have used a fan. The scent of musk and sweat and feet spread through the store and out the door, just in time to hook the passing lizard.

He saw it when it happened. The slight upward tilt of the head, the way that the lizard's nostrils suddenly flared wide. Of course, the sudden change of course helped, too, but the lizard was already on a leash, even though he didn't know it. The power of scent was an incredible thing, and his was more powerful than most.

He put his sandal back on as the sneaker-wearing lizard walked into the store. It wasn't until the reptile reached the cash register that the temporary trance faded, but before the lizard could really start thinking, Toru was already launching into a spiel.

"Glad that you came in today, sir. It looks like your shoes are on the verge of ripping apart. You should get yourself a new pair."

"Huh? But they're fine," the lizard said, blinking. "I mean, I think they are."

"Then let's take a look, shall we?"

The elephant guided his newest customer to one of the fitting chairs towards the back of the shop. A touch of a button under the main desk had already turned off the 'Open' light that graced the door, and anyone coming in would set off a quiet alarm to inform him of them.

For now, it was time to focus on getting this lizard out of here with as many shoes as possible.

"Now, when was the last time that you got a pair of shoes, hmm?" the elephant asked as he got the lizard comfortable. "A month ago? Maybe two?"

"Three, actually. They had a BOGO going," the lizard said as he squirmed. "Thought that they were pretty good. Would have gotten sandals, but, you know. Winter."

"Yes, yes, I understand."

A barefooter, he imagined, though he couldn't prove that by any means. It didn't matter, anyway. The lizard would be leaving with more than he bargained for, at any rate, and the store would be that much richer.

Before the lizard could reach down for his laces, however, the elephant reached down and stopped him.

"Allow me to examine them on your feet, first. Sometimes the pressure gives us insight that the shoes alone would not."

"Are you sure that you're interested in selling me something? You seem more interested in my feet than anything else."

Though the lizard chuckled, Toru only smiled. There was more truth to that than the reptile knew.

He stroked a finger along the outside, his spells already bubbling to the surface. He had snared the mind of the weak-willed reptile with a bit of his sweat. With the touch of a darkened thumbnail, he set to splitting the fabric of the shoe, weakening it from the outside, while a soft breath of heat from his mouth started the other process that he needed.

It was less of a mystery, and more of a cheat, that explained how he made so much money for the store. Sure, there were plenty of sales that happened, but most of his customers came in with no intention in the slightest to buy. They had to be convinced that they needed to, and the control to bring them through the doors wouldn't do anything like enough to accomplish that.

One breath, two, three, and he felt it. The first tingles and shudders through the shoe that meant that the growth had started. He smiled as he pinched his fingers around the toe of the shoe, feeling the swelling as the lizard's toes started to push up, grinding against the fabric and joins of the sneaker.

His customer blinked, gasping and grunting.

"What...what the heck? My feet..."

"Yes, sir?" Toru asked, as polite and oblivious as ever.

"The shoes...my feet...they're...Nnngh...tight."

"Yes, sir. That happens with damaged shoes. They feel wrong."

"No, I mean, my feet! They feel - mmmph!"

Toru arched an eyebrow. He had seen customers that had found this awkward, even strange before, but this was the first time that one of them had started making rather...sexual sounds as their feet grew. It was new...and rather interesting.

Surreptitiously, the elephant let out another warm breath, heating the shoe and the foot inside.

RIIIIP!

The lizard's big toe ripped right through the tip of the shoe, and a second later, the other toes followed. The shoe had been rendered little more than a sandal, and a sandal that was ripping down the sides as the lizard's foot kept growing.

In short order, the sides of the shoe came free, the bottom falling off as the top hung precariously from the lizard's scaly sole. The sock inside had ripped apart, too small to hold the bigger foot.

As the customer stared, Toru flicked his fingers at the fitting chair. Another spell, this one called forth with a simple snap of his fingers.

Click.

The lizard's rump expanded. Not much, maybe an inch or two, but it was enough to start making it harder to get out of the chair. A glance up showed that the customer was still fascinated enough with his feet to not notice what was going on behind him, so the elephant snapped his fingers twice more.

Click, click.

As the lizard's pants started to fill with more and more ass-flesh, the elephant sat up again, shaking his head.

"Well, that's a pity. I guess that shoe was more damaged than it looked."

"Damaged? My foot grew right through it! I don't know what happened, but -"

Toru smiled, and breathed. Almost instantly, the lizard gasped, arching his back and curling his growing toes enough that part of the seams popped almost immediately.

Good little foot. Grow to match your twin. Grow bigger, fatter, longer, so that you cannot be contained by this weak little sneaker. Grow. Grow. Grow.

And grow it did, pushing forward and cracking the seams of the shoe until the claws burst free with a loud rip. Once more, the lizard groaned in a way that almost sounded like sexual satisfaction, and once more, Toru had to clear away the debris of the ripped shoe and sock.

He was surprised to see that the socks were as sweaty as they were, but he put that down to the lizard being as warm as he seemed to be. The feet had already gone from a simple size 10, American, to a size 13, plump and warm.

He was about to use another spell when the lizard grabbed him by the cheeks with his feet. The elephant yelped, his eyes wide. This was the first time that anyone had actually snapped out of their shock long enough to grab at him. If he didn't do something -

"Can you make them bigger?!"

Toru blinked, staring at the lizard.

"What?"

"Can you make them bigger? Even bigger? Like...two or three times bigger?"

"..."

Of all the things that he had expected to hear, that was not one of them. Toru looked sideways, measuring the feet mentally. If he grew them that much larger, they'd be little more than scaly flippers on the end of either leg, things that were made to bounce and flop rather than do anything useful, like walking. They'd be large surfaces that were basically just there to be seen. Touched, perhaps.

"...If you're willing to pay for it," the elephant said.

"No problem."

"It will be expensive."

The lizard pulled out his wallet and tossed down a credit card. Toru blinked, looking at it, then back at the customer.

"As long as it's less than $4,000, I can pay."

"...Well, I suppose we'd best get started."

"Oh, and can you keep growing my ass, too?"

Where did he learn how to recognize magic? Toru wondered as he gathered his wits. Well...at least I get paid, either way.

The End
