Unbeknownst to it all, and somewhat coming to, the tattered mess of fur and flesh fell back on his rear, his radiant blue hues staring up vibrantly in the sky as jawline swung open.

"W-W-W....H-He--AH!!!!!!!!!" the lupine shrieked, a piece of embedded rock digging into the sole of his foot which had been cut tremendously from the rugged rocks beforehand. Immediately he fell over on his side, his chest puffing out at his inconsistent breathing patterns. One eye opened while the other closed, barely managing to lock in on the incoming form.

A few feet afar, the bi-pedal wolf who was dressed in a long loincloth, covered in splotched of black and white huffed at the site.

"Wasn't fun, was it?"

".....Who.." the canine muttered, managing to roll back up on his rear once more.

" Who are you..?"

The standing wolf looked up at the sun-brought sky, laughed once, and then drew his gaze down once more.

"Who do you think I am?"

"I don't know you.."

"Really now?"

The grey-furred lupine looked down at the surface once more, his eyesight retreating from exhaustion from time to time. This made the opposition wolf tilt his head some.

" You alright there? "

"........"

"Hm. Where's Tobias?"

"What?" he managed, quickly rearing his head in the other's direction.

"Your brother. Where is he?"

"To...bias."

Quickly, the standing alpha walked over to the edge of the estuary and pointed to the north.

"Long way down."

The smaller male quickly dragged his limp leg along with his form, crawling over somewhat closer to the waterway.

Suddenly, his eyes widened.

"......To-Tobias! No...NO!" he cried, that single howl permeating throughout the calm breeze that plastered the making of this both sunny, and gray day.
