A short soft vore story for a dragon friend

"Happy Birthday to me," Saila looked down at the card he held in his paws. Once again his birthday has come and his mate was away working for the weekend. He opened the card and smiled softly at the picture of a feral fox diving head first into a cake. At the bottom of the card, his mate had written; Happy Birthday Love, Flamey; in neat letters.

Saila started to close the card when something slipped out and fell to the floor. He flicked his tail and bent down to pick up a small rectangular piece of paper. "You sly dragon," Saila smiled big as he saw his mate had set him up with a free meal of any value at a brand new restaurant, The Tanuki's Bounty.

"Shit, it's even for the grand opening today, how the hell did he manage that? Its booked for three months," Saila dressed in a hurry and slipped out the door. The Tanuki's Bounty was only a couple blocks away so the foon walked arriving minutes before the time stamped on his pass. He gave a, too bad you aren't me, wave, at all the suckers stuck in the long line as he flashed the pass to a dormouse standing in front of the glass entrance.

Once inside Saila looked around, the doors were flanked by two large Tanuki statues pouring Saké from large jugs into a fountain. The floor was bamboo, with tatami mats surrounding the tables. The foon barely had time to take in the far east aesthetics as a large tanuki wearing a white chef's coat greeted him. The chef's coat did nothing to hide the huge mound between the tanuki's legs.

"Welcome to the Tanuki's Bounty, I'm the chef Resten," the tanuki bowed as he greeted Saila with a cheerful smile. "You must be Saila, the VIP guest." The chef led the foon to a table near the center of the restaurant. The table was low to the ground and the cushions surrounding it was in traditional fashion.

"Oh!!," Saila bent down and slipping his shoes off to gently scoot them into a cubby. The foon was glad he was wearing fresh socks as he bowed to the tanuki host. He knelt on a cushion as behind him the chef nodded his approval.

"Such a respectful diner," Resten commented as he handed Saila a menu. "Is there something I can get you to drink?" The chef smiled, the foon's posture was stiff and a bit too formal, but it was nice to see someone outside his homeland try.

"Um, I would like the Konacha and a bottle of Hakkaisan Ginjo," Saila stumbled over the words but he managed well enough for the tanuki to nod and head into the back with a big smile on his face. The foon opened the menu and started to browse, his gaze drifting down the soup, meats, and ramen options till the large sushi section caught his eye.

A three tailed vixen returned, setting a tray with a tea cup and sake cup as well as a 300ml bottle of the Hakkaisan Ginjo sake, on the table. Her tail swished around with a tea pot perfectly balanced on the tips. With finesse the kitsune filled Saila's tea cup with the steaming hot house green tea. She gave a bow never losing the balance of the teapot, as she filled the sake cup from the bottle.

"Have you decided what you would like to eat?" She asked as she bowed.

Yes, I would like the Tonkotsu Ramen and the Special Dragon Roll. Thank you very much," Saila watched as the kitsune glided off before he sipped at the sake, the soft floral and fruity taste was pleasant at the back of his throat. As he waited he watched as other customers started to file in and be attended to by the kitsune, a tengu, and a kappa. By the time his tea started to chill the kitsune returned balancing a bamboo tray between her paws.

"Here you go sir," The kitsune set the tray down and refilled the tea cup before disappearing to the next guest. Saila just stared at the tray, The pork ramen smelled great but what drew his eyes was a familiar sight of a 6 inch micro dragon laying on top of a neatly made roll of rice. Its red wings were pinned to its back with a nori wrap, its bony horns and spine spikes had been removed.

"Happy birthday hun," The little red dragon rolled over to greet his boyfriend as he made sure not to disturb a single grain of sushi rice that he laid on. "I know I'm not the sushi you were expecting," he grinned as he continued, "but you've always teased me about being a meal. So here I am."

Saila looked down with a smile as he first tasted the salty pork flavored broth of his ramen. "So you are. So this was that super special job you were talking about, Flamey?" Saila used his chopsticks to break a piece of tender pork, pinching it together with some veggies and noodles. "How am I supposed to eat you like sushi anyways?" he asked after swallowing.

"Just pinch a piece of rice and the rest will work out," the dragon wiggled his tail as his boyfriend's chopsticks reached over pinching a sushi sized chunk of rice and the tip of Flamey's tail. The piece came right off as Saila dunked the sushi into a small bowl of soy. "OHHH, thats cold!" The little dragon blushed as that bit of him was swallowed by his mate.

"Mmm, you do make nice sushi," Saila complemented his meal as he continued to pinch pieces of the dragon's tail off and dunk them in the soy. The foon alternated between the sushi roll and his ramen savoring every bite as the little dragon squirmed as he was reduced. After his tail, Flame's legs were next making a nice big piece of sushi. The foon didn't stop there taking the hips, butt, and groin in the next bite. This special piece was savored and teased making his dragon mate blush and squeak in an effort to hide his moans.

"Two bites left," Flamey commented out loud, excitedly as he fulfilled two dreams. Saila's desire to eat him, and his own of, ending up as pudgy fat on his loved one. Flame thought back, it had taken him three years to save up for this special moment. He hoped, missing so many of his mate's birthdays was worth it. He looked up and the expression of pure joy and love on Saila's face told him it was totally worth it. He could become belly and hip fat knowing he made somebody very special happy.

"I love you," Saila leaned down to kiss Flame's snout as he dunked the torso and nori wrapped wings in soy then popped the tasty morsel in his muzzle. The dragon watched as his mate finished off his bowl of ramen before picking up the last piece of sushi.

"I love you," Flame responded back as he was dunked then brought into Saila's maw. The dragon caught a whiff of the salty pork on his mate's breath before he was swallowed into the darkness. Saila leaned back, taking a moment all the great memories of his dragon boyfriend before silently setting the ticket on the table and getting up. He stretched out his legs and slipped his shoes on. He thanked the kitsune on his way out and asked her to thank the chef for the wonderful meal. As he left, his right paw touched his belly, now considerably larger than when he walked in.
