Compiled history:

Most of their history is taken into regard as 'in development' and removed from a variety of sources. The official history is the start of their calendar, which is on the Earth-dated year of 3002 CE. After 5 EC, the first city relations were made, creating a most thriving economy, leading to a military force unmatched by most of the planet. In those days, Shilonians were intertwined with other species, including reptilian and mammalian. Throughout an incredible 500 EC, they managed to keep this stable and secure, have little to no wars and incredible wealth, due to a political system considered democratic, though details are lacking or absent. After 505 EC on their calendar, an uprising op the avian minorities lead to an incredible dent within the population, ending in the destruction of an incredible amount of cities. The capital was unaffected and the only remaining structure from that era. The Shilonian had lost the protests, but quickly established an immense hold on clothing and design industries, quickly reforming the entire planet in the first official Shilonian style. Well known for it's bright colours and cheerfulness, it led to superiority in economy, until 1594 EC, in which a great uprising of reptilian and mammalian species over economic control led to a massive, yet short war. The Shilonians are the only victors, and survivors have devolved in the surrounding areas since. Since then, Shilonians began to grow less able in flight and more visible by developing brighter feather combinations and obscure traits, such as decorative wings. This era is typical for its cultural and scientific development. In 10054 EC, their endless peace had reached the ability of long-range space-travel, setting beyond the solar system to populate other planets. Nearby planets were already populated and cultivated, and considered 'resort planets' with both high ratings and unmatched results. The home planet, however, is still off-limits to everyone, even Counsel Members. The only exception is SFO, who's operatives are excepted from every law, thus also the planet's immigration laws. An orbiting spacestation is often used as embassy.

10056 EC brought contact with the Counsel, in the form of a crash with a convoy. Shilonians had faced a trial, were they adapted to the Counsel. Such, they received a long welcome. Shilonians have developed the most fitting stereotype of being optimistic, very sensitive about looks and most willing to try anything. Very little work in military positions and all Shilonian defences are not Shilonian. Their economy still thrives in design and clothing, having such firm roots the current fashions and styles are almost always rooted on Shilonian design. Some consider this a hazard; though little have ever found a way to counter their exquisite and professional craftsmanship. In fact, their current Counsel Member was a tailor until he was called for the planet's administration, in which he was voted Counsel Member within two weeks. His right hand is Counsel Minister of architecture, further establishing their role are design-engineers.

?

Exceptional skills:

Fashion: Established unbreakable bonds with design, having gained a permanent place within the basics. Little clothes are designed without Shilonian basics.

Architecture: Shilonian structures are incredibly sturdy, making them the most expensive architects in the universe.

Design-engineering: Shilonians are groundbreaking on designing equipment, standing in the highest regards when concerning new devices.

Planet description:

The planet is deemed 'off-limits' to everyone, making exact research almost impossible. Data that has been collected is on average and not without faults.

Moons: 5, most unnamed and go by the old, 5-number numeral system.

Circumference: approx. 40.090 kilometres, similar to Earth's.

Mass: approx. 6.0459 - 1024 kg

Rotation period: approx 2.4 days or 57,6352 hours. Or 57 hours, 38 minutes and 6,72 seconds.

Axial tilt: 0 degrees. Planet knows no seasons and is claimed to have a permanent summer. This has happened by artificial acts, to prevent the planet from going any further from the sun.

Surface % water: approx 66.52425%. One massive sea and small poles.

Surface temps: Average 31 Celsius day, -5 night. It's orbit creates a different circumstance during 'winter': 20 Celsius day, -15 night.

Distance to sun: 1.1 AU.

Other data missing due to lack of access of planet.

Gender:

Shilonians are very mysterious on the basis of gender, having a system dating back to the era 5-505 EC in which a gender isn't defined by body, but instead by own preference. Hence, Shilonians never address people by gender until they know which one the person in question goes by.

Physical differences:

Male:

  • Head: Males do not share the trait of having darker/different coloured feather around the eyes.

  • Torso: No breast development or nipples at all (on average). Instead, the chest grows forward to appear more imposing, sharing some similarity with actual breast growth. This chest often hides flamboyant patterns that can be revealed on command.

  • Loin/hips: Naturally, a penis is present, although not visible until erect. Is hidden with flaps of skin, sharing the physical appearance of a vagina. A trait common amongst birds, yet the combination of chest growth has led to stereotypes.

  • Arms: Arms are commonly bulkier, albeit not by much. Claws tend to be bigger and hands have more flexibility.

  • Legs: Males have feather growth to the ankles, even though there are scaled beneath. IT is the most distinctive trait of males.

  • Tail: Tail is often shorter, though this theory is yet to be confirmed.

  • Genetics: XYZ/XXZ/YYZ, the Z chromosome has been accepted as decisive factor.

Female:

  • Head: Eyes have 'masks' with different coloured feathers.

  • Torso: Breast development (though not limited to the female gender), often accompanied with a slim waist.

  • Loin/hips: Larger, comparable to the male variant. Vagina present, only difference with male is the clitoris, which males do not have.

  • Arms: Slender and often softer, claws are small, yet remain practical.

  • Legs: Scales reach up to the knees, and are slender. Legs are known to produce 50% more heat during hatching via special glands.

  • Tail: Tails is longer, on an average basis.

  • Genetics: XXX, XXY, XYY, YYY, women are indeed more present, although the factor of four to three is negligible as male reproductive organs counteract with higher Z production.

Neuter:

This gender was first thought to be male, but is infertile. It shared the haploid genetics of bees, and has more growth and matures significantly faster. They can only be laid if the female still has her virginity upon the first nest.

  • Head: Large, aerodynamic feathers, both imposing and sometimes toxic/poisonous. Beak is known to be sharp, unlike those of males and females.

  • Torso: Flat but muscular. Ribs stretch down; provide more protection than other genders.

  • Lion/hips: Muscular, possess only a small hole for urination.

  • Arms: Still sleek, yet possesses more strength than males or females. Hands have retracable claws.

  • Legs: Completely scaled and knees often have a spike. Scales have a rugged look, perhaps for intimidation purposes.

  • Tail: Curled and barbed, often possessing deadly toxins.

  • Genetics: XX, XY, YY, YZ, ZZ, XZ, due to haploid genetics.

Reproductive details:

Instruments: Penis-vagina model.

Development forms: Embryonic egg, egg (upon laying), infant > adult.

Days of celebration: Lay-day, hatch day/birthday.

Alternatives: Females can birth if they have had intercourse with other species, specifically mammals.

Sexual preference: Oddly, little of this kind are heterosexual. Most are either homo- or bisexual. This trait leads back to more desperate times, and has led to the species ability of negotiation. Relations are open, and a real 'marriage' is absent, though a replacement is a 'parental-bond' meaning they'll take care of any offspring. During early years, heterosexual marriages or bonding was deemed illegal, perhaps by the fear of overpopulation.

Common fetishes: Overall, they're known to try before judging. Few can be seen as common, these being: BDSM (both sides), watersports, scat and clothing fetishes. Why these are found under 99% of the population is unknown, but it's generally accepted that it has to do with history and inheritance.

Egg development time: 50 ER

Egg hatching: 12 ER

Development infant to adult: 24 EC.

Parents: If the person is polygamous, a 'parental-bond' is made with a specific male, so that that person will assist in the raising of the hatchlings. It's more frequent to have two parents of the same gender. Due to this way of family build-up, family trees are often complex.

Ovum lifespan: 5 ER.

Sperm lifespan: 12 ER.
