#1 of Virgil's Story

Darkness... That is all it could see, and all it could hear is the steady beating of two heart. Its mind awoke for the first time and memories and knowledge encoded in its genes flooded into its mind. It was one of the swarm...

The creature sat there in the darkness for days, listening to the sound of its heart and the faint echoing in the back of its mind. "Awaken my child and claim what is your birthright." The feminine voice said this over and over again. Thoughts started to enter its head of how it was one of the new strain of Devouring One. That it would be the first step towards victory through evolution. As time went on, the thoughts became more clear and the voice got louder.

The Darkness now seemed to be cramped, making the creature uncomfortable. It twisted what way it could but found the discomfort the same. It struggled as the discomfort soon turned to pain as it grew. It pushed up against the walls of the darkness, trying to stretch it for more room and its claw pierced threw the darkness. The small light greeted its eyes for the first time, and the curious creature pushed towards this new sight.

It reached out to the gap and ripped at it with its claws causing more light to flood its vision. Its pressed towards that light until all of a sudden it fell through the gap, landing on a soft surface. It opened its orange eyes and saw the purple sludge like ground for the first time. It genetically knew about the creep as it was called, and knew that it meant it was home.

The creature known as a zergling stood up for the first time. It had a reptilian like body shape that zerglings still had because of their descendents that they evolved from. The body was still a similar shape to the small desert raptor, no bigger than a large dog, but it no longer had scales. Its skin was made of plates stronger than steel and small spike came from its head back and tail. It had large back feet with three toes, each tipped with a deadly claw for running and killing. Two short arms came from below its shoulders and two scythe like bladed limbs came from above them. The creature looked around and sniffed the air, smelling the egg that it had been in.

It looked back into the egg to find why it felt so cramped. There before it was its twin's limp form. The zergling gurgled sadly for the first time, sad that its kin had died. It looked into the night sky and could see the shapes of creatures flying in the air above. The had wings like bat, and their bodies were almost wormlike. Mutalisk it knew they were called. It looked upon the creatures in the night until that voice returned once more. "Welcome my children. Welcome to the Swarm!"

The zergling felt a presence at the back of its mind pulling at it, telling it things to do. The zergling just sat there, wondering what this feeling was until the voice returned. "The experiment has failed. They do not posses the hive mind. Kill them... Kill them all. We must remove this stain from the swarm forever." The zergling heard a sound off in the distance. It was a combination of screeches and hisses in the distance. Then a feeling hit the zergling that it would never forget.

It felt it...

The feeling...

Of thousands dying...

Fear stuck the small zerg as it realized what was happening. All of the members of its strain were being killed. Instinct took over and the little zerg ran. It heard the hydralisk behind it hiss as they saw it. The snake like creatures with blade arms shot deadly spines at it, but the zergling had gotten just out of range and avoided them. Its speed was greater than the Hydralisk and so made good distance from them, but as it ran in the night, it saw in the distance the other zerglings of its strain being slaughtered by hulking creatures that stood 30 feet high with blade arms that could cut through a building, known as Ultralisks, as well as other zerglings like them.

It ran as fast as it could through the chaos until it reached the edge of the creep. From hear it ran for miles from the screeches of death only to find three mutalisks had followed it. The zerg didn't know what to do and so let instinct guide it. It ran into the dense brush and started digging, clawing at the hard earth with ease until it made a six foot deep hole and sunk into the burrow. It sat there and waited, watching as the mutalisk passed it by and eventually retuned to the hive.

The Zergling layed down in the burrow, going through every thing in its head. It was a member of the Swarm, but the Swarm attacked it. Why? The words of the Queen of Blades soon came to mind. It was a mistake. It was a failed strain. It was never meant to be. What was it going to do now? If it stayed here a overlord would eventually find it. No it had to leave, but didn't know where to go. It pondered all of this as it layed down, gurgling as it slowly closed its eyes and slept.

When the creature awoke it found itself surrounded by the dirt walls of the burrow. The night sky had left, replaced with one much brighter and filled with red. The lone zergling peeked its head from the burrow to look around before finally climbing out after seeing no threats. It looked around first at the black rocky landscape. Small cracks could be seen where magma came from the ground and dark brush could be seen every once in a while.

The Zergling tried to take a few steps from the brush to get a better look but something got caught on one of the twigs. It looked under it to find that a plate between its legs had moved in the night and now a reptilian-like black member posed before the creature. It backed away from the bushes and sat down, looking at the appendage for the first time. As it examined its own morning wood it saw that just below it was a slit. It pondered its discoveries as it had no genetic memory of zerglings having both parts.

As it watched a small drop of clear fluid leaked out from its member. Out of instinct to clean itself it bent over and licked it up. The feeling sent shivers through its body. The feeling scared the zerg at first, but it decided to try again out of curiosity and licked the tip of its member again. The feeling this time felt good to the creature and it started licking at it as much as it could. As its tongue stretched out it found that it was unlike its genetic memories as well. It stopped half way up the tongue and split into to parts, each forked like a lizard's.

It thought about this for a second before licking its member again. This time it wrapped the tongue around its member so that their was half of the tongue on each side. It bent its back and head over as much as it could and ran the tongue down to the base of its member. The feeling was much stronger than the past licks and the zerg decided to see if it could increase the feeling further.

It started licking up and down its own member, and slowly picking up speed. Its bony tail started to sway behind it as it licked faster, causing the feelings to build on top of each other. As it continued licking, it felt a pressure start to build up within its groin. The feeling worried it, but the feelings it was getting overrided its worry and it continued licking faster until the pressure was too much and released out the tip of its member, sending a white fluid over its muzzle and into its tongue.

The blast of cum from its member scared the zergling sending it backwards onto the ground. It slowly got up and licked its muzzle of the salty fluid before looking at its member to see if it was alright. It found its member in good condition, but it was slowly shrinking in size as it started moving make to the place where it hid. The zergling quickly liked it clean before the plate moved back over, protecting the organs once more. The Zergling stood up. The strange evens feeling vary small to it as its animalistic mind thought little of it. The zerg just looked off into the distance once again.

Sounds could be heard. Sounds that were like a small stampede but in short bursts. Looked in the direction to see three creature clad in blue metal. They stood up on two legs and carried a device that was causing the noise, But jus over the noise could also be heard the hissing and screeching of Zerg approaching...
