On The Hunt
Even with the general defeated the aparoids still invaded the allying planets which meant that each government would have to bring out the hunting teams from the aparoid wars, they were a unit known as "Exterminator" formed from the black ops team Tamati lead these groups were equiped with the most highly effective weapons known to the military on each planet.
"This is Shadow Sniper calling speed demon. Fang you copy?"
"Speed demon here. Read you loud and clear Tamati."
Fang,Tamati and Fox lead the exterminators along with the rest of starfox since they had the most experience dealing with the aparoids.
"Speed Demon calling Pack Leader. anything on your end Fox?"
"Negative but stay alert. If you find one contact the team before moving in."
The team was sent to the a machine factory on the southern end of corneria city after hearing reports of an aparoid making its nest before killing half the workers. As they made their way to the center of the factory Tamati activated the night vision scope on his sniper and spotted what looked like several corpses sticked to the wall by what looked like some kind of webbing.
"Guys don't move! I got some fresh kills on my scope."
"Any sign of the target?"
"Negative. Fang anything on the outside?"
"Nothing so-wait...I got movement."
Something large with what seemed like eight legs was moving along the roof then Tamati saw several blips on his radar and saw several aparoids moving in from the walls.
"WE GOT HOSTILES!!!"
"WAX EM BOYS!!!!"
Tamati picked them off from his view point in the factory while Fox and his team fired all over the place as shells rattled on the floor each time their guns fired, then a large one bursted out of the ground beneath them and broke a hole in the factory making a run for it.
"Geeze! HE'S GETTING AWAY!!"
"The hell he is! Fang get in there! skewer his ass!!!"
"With pleasure!!"
Fang took off with the sound of a gunshot, the aparoid close in sight as he took out two blasters firing at each leg trying to cripple it while Fox and Tamati got back in their vehicles and contacted the other units on standby.
"Attention all units: Speed Demon is in pursuit of the target, on my signal fire at will."
Fang finally succeded as he got close enough to bring out his sword and chopped off three of the legs forcing the aparoid to crash on the street allowing the other exterminators to move in and empty their clips in it while the clean up crew collected the bodies and burned down the nest.
Hours later Fang had received a call from mobius saying that a new member of exterminator had been recruited. It was his big brother.
"You have a brother?"
"We were both created by Eggmans family so in some twisted way we're related."
"Wait...the only other creation that was made by eggmans family was-!"
Then the hangar doors opened as two black motorbikes zoomed in the room, upon removing their helmets the riders revealed themselves to be Shadow Hedgehog and his wife Rouge the bat; Former master jewel thief.
"Hello brother."
"Shadow."
