Deep within the mountain range of Horizon, surrounded by the lush forest on all sides lay the town of Plethora, a small village filled with anthros of all kinds. On any normal day, the townspeople would go to work, some hunting in the nearby woods while others ran their small shops in the town square, but today wasn't just any normal day.

Sorsha, the witch and healer of the town, took care of the illness and protected Plethora with her magic that she had acquired from her various escapades out into the wild. It was a common ritual for a witch of those parts to set out on their quest to discover a new power and once they received the power, within the next coming months they would receive a vision of where they must head to next to receive the next part of their training and the next level of magic to further their power.

Today was one of those days. The town gathered together for a large meal of eggs, milk and buttered toast in the town hall for celebration, thanking her and wishing her luck on her next trip. Every city or tribe had at least one witch to help protect them and since Sorsha, one-handed had defended them from another tribe, they valued her greatly and couldn't wait to see what she would learn next in her training.

Her vision had shown her a temple of sorts in the shape of a pyramid, watching as her body floating up the stair-like-levels of the building, descending a steep staircase at the top. She had envisioned vibrant violets and greens floating through the air around her as she entered a large chamber, a voice calling out as she stepped atop a large looking platform of sorts.

The voice whispered out the secret instructions for her, echoing in her ears and around her as she listened, "Your next lesson is one of sacrifice. You can find me by the coastline of Shimmer, hidden from outside eyes. You will find your access between two stones. Use your past knowledge to gain entrance to the hidden temple and find me within. I will be waiting here, Sorsha. Your journey is only starting."

She had spent the next few days preparing for her trip, writing on her map the route she would take. Sorsha had traveled often enough in her journey that she had come to know the surrounding areas of the town very well and had enough knowledge to know at least where to start looking. With that, she woke up the following morning, eating as much as she could to sate her hunger and save the little food she had for later in her journey. Then, with a final wave of her paw, she threw her

With all this mind, letting out a deep breath, she fixed her blue cape on her back, made sure the red feather on her blue witch hat was in place and with her wand attached to the side of her horse, she set off in towards Shimmer, leaving Plethora behind in search of her next power.

After reaching Shimmer, she had spent most of the day searching among the cliffside at the shore until she came up a thin crack in the wall, trying to peer inside for some sort of lever to upon up a secret passage. She could see through the slim crack that there was light on the other side and, from the look of it, amazingly a forest although, from the outside, there was only a sheer cliffside with no forest on the other side. _'She did say I would have to use some of my previous training to enter. Hmm...' _She jumped off the saddle, gripping her wooden staff in her hand as she put her hand onto the stone, chanting a ritual as she slowly swirled her staff and pointed the curved end at the stone.

With a thunder-like rumbling, the stone under her hand began to shift, the crack widening slowly with loud groans from the earth. She did this for about ten minutes, focusing her strength on it as she muttered curses under her breath, _'God... this stone doesn't want to move...' _She gritted her teeth, a little worried about how difficult it was to grow the hole in the wall. At the same time, she heard something like a branch seemed to snap and crack, assuming one of the trees nearby may be somehow effected from her stretching reality in such a way, but it was only after the crack widened enough for her to crawl through that the tree-like object gave way.

CRACK!

Her eyes widened and she jumped back in horror, still gripping the upper half of her staff as the lower half broke off, the scepter broke in two from the sheer force of magic needed to spread the mountain apart. Her fears flashed before her eyes, hyperventilating over what would happen, losing all her magic with no way to heal or protect her tribe. How could she return like this, with not just no new power, but with no powers at all to protect them? She was their keeper and she had failed them...

She tried to wipe away her tears, holding both parts of her staff in her hands before going back to her horse, attaching its lead to a nearby tree and slipping through the crack in the wall. She still couldn't believe that there was a living forest on the other side of the wall, realizing that the rocky cliff around it must be to protect the forest from outside view. Large floating yellow lights lit up the roof of the huge underground cavern, filling the place in a beautiful yellow glow. She reached out to one as it drifted near, finding it slipped through her hand when she tried to grasp it.

It only took her a few moments of wandering through the underground forest to find the temple in her dreams, ascending the stairs on the outside before finally descending into the chamber below. She was instantly met with dazzling purple and green orbs floating around the inner chamber, much like the ones from outside in the forest and once she finally reached the floor, a voice spoke up, her voice old a craggy, "Ah, you're Sorsha I presume? I'm glad you found me."

Sorsha jumped a little in surprise at the voice but once she spotted the witch on the other end of the room, reclined in a rocking chair with a book in her hand, she calmed down. She opened her mouth to ask the old lady something but before she could get it out, the witch spoke again, smiling, "The next spell you will be learning is the ability to harness fire. Do you have your staff with you?"

It was at that moment that the old lady noticed the two broken sticks in her hands, frowning with sorrow, "By the gods... What did you do to it?"

"I didn't mean to break it! I was trying to open the passageway into the forest but the sheer intensity of moving the crack apart caused my staff to... well, snap I guess."

The lady eyed her up and down, seemingly astonished at her explanation. She paused, adding once she regained her senses with a nod, "Well, I have good news and bad news darling. Though you may have lost your staff, this typically means that the powers you have already mastered are too powerful to be contained in such a vessel as a staff. This means you have exceeded your potential as a witch. But..."

"But?"

"This also means that, for you to continue to use your spells and learn new ones, you will need a new and more powerful vessel to contain it in."

There was another long pause, the witch getting out of her chair, setting her book on a small stone table before walking around Sorsha, letting out little groans and grumbles as she looked her up and down. Sorsha, watched her worriedly, "Umm, what are you doing? And what kind of vessel would we need then?"

"Well, you see, we already have our vessel right here, darling. You." Sorsha tilted her head, the old lady walking to one of her various bookshelves to pull out a large one with a symbol on the front. "You see, only the soul can truly harness the elements needed to make you reach your full potential, but for you to harness such great power, you will need a more powerful body to link those powers with so you can use them freely."

Sorsha blinked at this, twiddling with the pieces of wood in her paws as she asked, "What form would that be?"

"A dragon."

"A dragon? Are you serious?"

"Yes I'm completely serious, sweetheart. Dragons of the old days had mastered each of their elements and with the body of the one you can harness those elements even deeper than you ever have before. I know you may be scared to take the risk, but trust me, I have transformed many before. Besides, this is a good sign that you can protect your town and grow more powerful than you know, but you must take this form now to continue or, if you choose not to, you must leave without your powers and choose to live as a simple townsperson. We cannot simply replace the staff for you, it has been harnessed with your life essence and, although it is broken and unable to use any of its magic, it is still infused with the elements you have learned. I can transfer those powers from the broken staff from the body and make you whole with the elements, all you have to do is accept."

She thought about this for a few minutes, walking in circles as she realized how much her tribe needed her, knowing that she was their protector and that, without her, they would have been overtaken by both villages and feral animals that had tried to attack them from the past. Sure, she would have to give up her anthro body, but surely they would take her back once they knew it was her and besides, being able to control the elements at her fingertips was quite alluring. So, with a deep breath, she blinked meaningfully at the lady, bowing her head somberly, "Alright. Let's do it then."

"Good. If you wouldn't mind stepping onto the altar behind you then..." Sorsha hadn't noticed it before, but in the center of the room was a circle inscribe with ruins, the green and purple flames seeming to draw nearer to the outside ring as Sorsha stood in the center, listening to the witch, "This will only take a few moments, so stand still and relax. This may feel pleasurable so don't be afraid if you get aroused from this."

"Wait, what?" She stopped, looking at her as the lady began chanting a ritual while she read her book, walking around the altar. "Do I just stand here and wait or..." Her attention was drawn to the orbs slowly spinning around the outside ring of the altar, creating a wall around her that kept spinning while she stood still. Then, as her chanting got louder, the lights began to grow and melt into her, green and purple filling her vision before she closed her eyes, the warm lights heating her body and filling her with a sense of relaxation.

Then, only a few moments later, she began to feel her fur shrinking. She lifted a paw to her chest and back, taking off her cape and hat as she realized they may be in the way, feeling as the fur receded to smooth scales. She glanced down her chest in shock, watching as her breasts faded away to be replaced with the pink chest scales, the rest of her body quickly shifting from a white cat-like character to a white-pink dragon. Her fluffy tail quicky grew scales as well, a green flame igniting on the end as the elements began embuing with her new body.

She then began to feel wobbly, only now realizing what she meant by dragon, falling onto all fours as her limbs shifted from an anthro to a feral. "God... I'm turning into a feral dragon... I hope I'll be able to talk..." She hadn't thought that deep into it in the few minutes she contemplated everything, fears creeping in her mind as she thought about how her tribe would react to a feral dragon walking amongst them. Would they think she was a threat to the town? If she couldn't talk they might think she was nothing more than an animal but perhaps since dragons were once respected so would she be? Maybe her magic could prove she was Sorsha to them without words if so?

She was distracted suddenly as she hiked her tail up, a strong surge of pleasure coursing through her nether regions as her cunt began to heat, her legs shaking as wave after wave of heat passed through her, causing her to pant and softly moan in arousal as she began to grow wings. She instinctively leaned down onto all fours, getting into a breeding position as her heat set in, feeling an animalistic tendency sweeping across her form as she presented herself to the lights, feeling their pleasure course through her, rewarding her for obeying and transforming. There was a sharp pain in her back as her wings stretched and grew but the pleasure helped to block it out, letting her focus on that as she grew horns as well, small markings appearing along her body in colors of blue, red, green and purple.

Then, after a few more moments of bliss, her transformation was complete, flaring her wings beside her as she held her stance, completely horny and submissive as the lights withdrew to the ceiling. It was only when she heard the lady chuckle that she opened her eyes, drawing in her tail to hide her aroused vent as she stood straight again, glancing away in embarrassment, "Looks like someone enjoyed that... You look just like a dragon now and you should have the powers from your staff inside you as well."

"But can you hear me?" She knew she said that out loud, but she feared that maybe her words only made sense to her now or something. Magic was weird like that sometimes.

"Hehe, yes I can. You'll be able to talk to them and all, don't worry. But why don't you try some of your flames to make sure it works?"

Sorsha nodded, stumbling as she turned on all fours, trying to move one after the other slowly before opening her maw. It was something like a swirling rage within her, feeling the heat running through her blood as she parted her jaws and let forth a stream of scorching fire into the room, singing the roof as it hit, her face hit with intense heat as she jet out the stream, feeling a strong sense of pride. Then, after letting out as much as she could in a breath, she panted, looking back at the witch with a smile. "Maybe things won't be so bad after all."

"Only the most powerful mages and witches can earn this sort of transformation. It seems like the fire you've been looking for has been inside you all this time and now, it's burning on the inside. You're a dragon now and embrace it. Show the town how powerful you are and be on your way. Your journey with the elements is far from over."
