Chapter 6: Hatred and Pain

By: Mirron Tenshi

The light brown and white huskey and red fox stood in the park in fear as a grey and black adult husky strode towards them. Roy snarled fiercely as he glared at the young couple. The very sight of the pups repulsed and disgusted him to no end. He spoke in a lethal voice, as if the sound of his tone carried a verbal venom.

"I said, what the bloody fucking hell are you doing here?!" Jason couldn't speak. He gapped and shivered under his father's evil gaze.

"He has every right to be here!" Mark stepped up infront of him. He too was terrified by this dog, but if Jason can't speak, then he must defend his lover. "J-Just because y-you're to closed m-minded to-"

"Shut IT Faggot!" Roy barked as he back handed the young fox across the face, making him stagger and clutch his face. Mark whimpered and rubbed his cheek. "Don't give me that 'Free to be' liberal shit!" Normally, Jason would tend to Mark, but he was frozen as a few tears leaked from his face. It's as if Roy's voice really did contain an unseeable venom because the young do was paralyzed with fear. THe older canine then turned his angry stare back at his offspring. "What I want is to know where you get the audacity to disrespect your mother and me."

Finally, Jason was some how able to utter something. "I-I d-d-do-n-"

"First! You existed, being a damn queer! If you had to be born, the least you could've done is to be what you're supposed to be! I oughta kill that cocker spaniel you pretended to go out with for being and a assisting a filthy little liar like you . . . !" For quite some time now, Jason has been pretending to be in a relationship with this spaniel named Stacy. She likes gay boys and totally sympathizes with Jason so she offered to be a cover up for the husky. While Jason's parents approved of him going out with a girl, Roy still would've prefered Jason go out with another husky. Yes, he is THAT kind of conservative.

Every word caused Jason to feel more and more low. He held no respect for his parents, but that doen't stop hurtful words to cause pain. "J-J-Just-"

"Second! You went behind our backs and soiled yourself with homo porn and that mouthy little fox slut!" At this point, the poor pup was unable to talk at all. "Your deception has ripped apart your mother's heart. Why do you insist on being a secretive little runt! FIrst, it was your disrespectful brother, then it's you?! What will it take to have a decent offsping?!" Jason has an older brother named Scott. He was a damn fine brother to Jason, and was pretty libral. However, he sometimes went out of line when talking back to his parents and it resulted in them sending him to military school. Jason misses his brother dearly as they write letters back and forth. (As a side note, Scott also doesn't know about Jason's sexuality)

"H-He w-was a-"

"A little nothing more than a piece of scum. Brothers are alike, aren't they? . . . And you know what I just forgot to mention? You actually have the gall to stay in town longer than I ordered you to. How long do you plan on troubling your life givers with your inpudence?!"

A tear ran down the little dog's face. He knew his rights, but his fathers words had a cruel effect on him. Right now, Jason hardly feels the right to even exist. Roy was making his son feel the desire to really disappear.

"L-Like I said . . ." Mark spoke once again. He was feeling a surge of hatred and anger towards the adult. The little fox looked at Roy dead on his eyes. "He has every right to be here. If you can't stand him so much, then why c-can't your wife just back up and go away?" Mark was shaking. He'd never had the courage to talk like this to a grown up before. Just seeing his poor doggie upset like this. Looking at Jason, Mark feels as though nothing in the world could ever make his husky smile again.

Roy just growled fiercely. Hatred and fury was starting to take over his mind. Who the hell do these fags think they are? The dog seethed as his fangs bore. "Speak when you're spoken to, you disrespectful fucker!!!"

Reality then went into slow motion as the husky charged at the quivering fox. Jason's eyes went wide as his boyfriend was about to get mauled. Then, a flashback went though his eyes.

"Scotty! Please don't go! I love you! I don't want you to leave!" A very small light brown pup in sky blue footsie pajamas tugged on a taller huskey's shirt as the older dog was about to leave the door. Scott sighed as he looked down at the teary eyed puppy. He felt a little emotional too as the little dog pleaded. The grey and white husky put his suitcases aside and knelt down to Jaosn.

"I'm sorry buddy. I don't want to leave either. But I got too fresh with mom and dad for the last time. They don't want me here."

"But I do! It's not fair!" Scott chuckled as the puppy started to sob.

"Please don't cry. I'll be back before you know it." Jason sniffled as his brother padded his shoulder.

"I won't cry if you won't leave." Scott smiled as he nuzzled his little bro. "How do I know you'll come back? I know you don't like mommy and daddy." Scott then backed up and put his paws behind his neck and unhooked the necklace around and then hooked the chain around the puppy's neck, the little silver arrowhead pendant gleaming in the morning sun.

"Now I'll need to come back. That necklace has a very important message that we need to remember." The dog then held up his pinky. "I promise. I'll come back for you." Jason nodded and sniffed as his tiny paw wrapped his pinky around his and made the promise. "I'm going to miss you." He spoke as he hugged the little dog.

"*Sniff* Me too." Scott then whispered in the puppy's ear.

-"Remeber, Jason; No one but you has the right to judge who you are."-

Bam!

"Arrrgghh!!"

Mark stood in shock and fear as Jason appeared infront of him and took the hit to his arms. Tears ran down his face as Jason growled. He felt a trainwreck of hate and anger at his father. Scott still hasn't come back yet. "You . . . Just g-go to hell you hateful bastard!!!"

Roy's eyes went wide with shock at what his son just said, but then back to fury. The adult snarled as he shot a fast punch at Jason's face. Jason yelped as he was knocked a few feet away as the fist impacted his muzzle, right next to the nose. The husky landed badly and whimper-whine and cringed on the grass as he clutched his snout. His face was in a world of hurt.

"Jaso-ak!" Before Mark could do anything, he was grabbed by neck very tightly. He gagged as Roy gripped him tight with one paw, strangling the fox. All of this savage rage had put the husky set-to-kill. He felt like he *needed* to kill these two homos in his own paws. Mark dangled where he hung by Roy's fist, unable to breath as Mark tried to pry the fingers in vain. He was starting to choke.

Jason soon recovered and gasped as he saw his fox gapping for air. "MARK!" Jason took a hard step, but yelped in agony as his right ankle seared in pain. He collapsed and clutched his ankle. "Let him go!" Jason yelled. A few animals noticed the scene.

"You two will soon be joining in hell!" Roy grinned evilly as the fox struggled less and less, the gasps becoming weaker. He was starting to see blackness.

*Click*

"Put my son down." Roy glanced to see a male fox in a police uniform. A gun was pointed right at his head. The husky just smirked.

"Put the gun down, and/or I'll *put* you son down." He snickered as the little fox gradually stopped struggling.

BANG!

"AH FUCK!!!" Both paws cover Roy's left ear as Mark fell. The little fox coughed and gasped as air filled his sore lungs and his sight went back into focus. "GODDAMN IT, FUCKING SON OF A BITCH!" As Roy struggled to clutch hid ear, Mark ran over to his boyfriend to tend to him.

"You think I'm playing with you?! You think I'm a dumbass?! Get up! You have the right to remain-" Roy barked and snarled loudly as he leapt and resisted arrest.

"Jason, are you alright? Can you walk?" The huskey shook his head as he clutched his ankle, the limb searing. "We need to get you out of here." Mark said as he tucked one of Jason's arms over his neck and lifted him. Mark still felt weak from the strangling.

"RRRROOOOAAAARRR!!!!"

The fox and husky gasped as they heard a glass shattering roar. They turned to see a dark brown lion charging at them. THe lion had claws like eagle-hooked talons and many curved cone fangs, and four long slash scars over his left eye. The couple stood in fear as the lion approached at alarming speeds. Mark didn't think they could get away in time, and he was not about to leave Jason.

Just then, a white blur came in from their right. The blur bounded and shot at the lion when he was five feet infront of them. The lion's muzzle jerked to the side and was knocked down to the ground as the blurr turned into someone in a midair kick. The figure landed on both feet with his right paw supporting him as he got up.

The animal was wearing a white coat and white cargo pants. His feet and paws where white and his face was covered by the shadow of thw hood, save for the mouth at a white muzzle with short to medium sized whiskers. He had a white tail looming back and forth behind him with a snowy brush at the end.

The lion got back up and slashed the white coat on the arm, a red liquid flying from five gashes on his right arm, causing him to fall. When he fell, he whirled his leg around tripped the dark cat. The cat snarled angrily as the coat fur manuvered himself on the spot and landed an impact kick right on his stomach. The lion gasped out in pain. The white then boosted himself up and jumped off the lion stomach. The dark animal managed to land another gash on the the white's left shin. However, it seemed that the fur in the coat was immune to pain.

A blade appeared from in the lion's left sleeve as he approached the savage lion. "Stay down, or I'll insure it." He spoke in a calm and low tone. The lion snarled as he hit the blade away and shot up and puched up the fur in the white, knocking him aside. The beast then jetted for Mark and Jason again.

"NOW DIE!!! O-AAHHH!" A glint of silver pierced right though the lion's shoulder, blood dripping from the blade. The white figure then walked infront of the lion, him being a couple of feet shorter than the offender.

"I'm sorry, I appeared to have struck you when you weren't looking." The figure reached over and pulled the blade out, the lion grunting. Before anything else, the white coated fur jammed two fingers at underneath the lion's muzzle. The dark beast grunted painfully as he felt like a jagged piece of wood shred up his jaw, his sharp maw jammed shut. The animal then sunk the sword's handle base into the lion's stomach, letting go of his neck and letting him drop and cough. When he was down, the coat guy then jabbed a hard paw behind the lion's neck, paralyzing him. Casually, the figure then dragged the pained beast over to where Bill had just tazored Roy.

"Bill, this one went for the boys. I've delt with him before and I believe he is still on his sentence." The older fox looked to the scolling lion.

"A break-out, huh? Thanks for taking him out, Platinum."

"He was too easy." Platinum said as he carelessly threw the grunting beast into the police car, Roy being forced in too.

"See you in court, Mr Tylor." Bill then turned to the hooded character. "Platinum, could you do me a favor and take my boys home? My son can take care of the husky when they get home. And what about the uh . . ."

"I've a few hours." Platinum said as he then turned and walked to the couple. He took his hood down, revealing the face of an albino lion with his snow mane tied back in a round and wide pony tail, his eyes paled blue. He looked to be at around in his 30's, and his face looked as though it's been pushed to beyond the breaking point of stress. "My name is Platinum. I'm taking you home." He helped Mark up and supported Jason and took them to a white PT Crusier. Before they knew it, They were driving to Mark's house. Jason was overwelmed as he rested on Mark, the fox petting his dog.

"T-Thank you, Platinum. For saving us." The white lion simply nodded as they drove on. Mark couldn't help but stare at the blood soaked sleeve on the white lion's arm.

"It's fine." Platinum seemed to sense Mark wondering about his injury. Mark looked away and tended back to comforting Jason. Soon, Platinum had parked outside of the house. He held up a shaking husky as Mark unlocked the door and Platinum helped Jason onto the couch.

"Do you have a cast?"

"U-Um, I think we have bandage strips." The lion then reached into a pouch pocket and gave a spandex cast to Mark.

"Ice his ankle and give him some pain killers and put that on him. If there's no other purpose for me here, then I need to go back home."

"O-Ok. Thanks again, Platinum."

"Take care, kids." The lion then walked out.

"Are you ok, sweetie?" Jason shook his head. He didn't want to talk. "Oh, baby." Mark spent the rest of the night trying everything he could to soothe his doggie, which worked pretty well with a shoulder rub. The young couple fell asleep on the big soft couch.

Meanwhile, Platinum collasped on his bed, gasping and grunting as he pressed his paws on his face where he was punched by the lion. He writhed as his slash wounds seared and stung continuously, hissing and grunting. "I-Is . . . is this . . . r-really worth it . . . ?"
