Chad heard a rustling through some bushes up ahead on his path way to home. He perked up his ears and tensed up to prepare for just about anything that could be thrown at him. Chad then saw the tip of a couple fuzzy ears and knew who they belonged to. He then walked over to the bush and plucked on the pair of ears.

"What are you doing here Emma?" A young, amber colored pup then came out of the bushes while rubbing her ears.

"I was waiting for you to come home, mom wanted me to let you know that dinner would be ready soon." Emma told while twitching her ears. "Next time don't pluck my ears so hard."

"How about next time you hide your ears better." Chad said while checking his phone for a new text that came from Nala. Emma stood on her tippy-toes to try to read who Chad was texting.

"Are you texting your girlfriend again?"

Chad groaned at his sister's remark "She's not my girlfriend Emma."

"Then why is she around you all the time?"

"She's our neighbor Emma."

"Whatever you say Chad. Say, how about we race home?" Emma asked while swaying her tail playfully.

"You can go on and run home, I'll just walk." Chad said while patting her head.

"You're just afraid you're gonna lose." Emma giggled and spit her tongue out at Chad.

Chad then heard another rustle which sent a slight shiver down his spine, since he could smell the scent of someone. Someone dangerous.

"Emma, you go on home now, I have to take care of something." He said while gently pushing her away from him. Emma noticed the sudden change in Chad's demeanor and knew he wasn't fooling around. She nodded and walked briskly toward her house.

"Well isn't that special, I didn't know you had a younger sister." Nick the iguana said while coming into view from behind a tree.

"You don't know anything about me, so don't talk like you do." Chad said coldly. This sudden aggression caused Nick to crack an evil smile.

"Now look at you cracking the tough guy act. What I do know is that you and Will seem to be getting comfortable with each other, and that sickens me. The fact that he'd even hang out with a nobody like you. "

"Well maybe he isn't an asshole like you want him to be." Chad said while staring Nick down. Nick started to walk closer to Chad, cracking his knuckles as he did.

"You really don't know who you're talking to do you?" Nick started to tilt his head slightly, giving him a slight look of insanity.

"The way I see it, I'm talking to an arrogant, jealous piece of crap." Chad said, not showing any emotion or letting up on his ground.

Nick then flashed a smirk, and before Chad even noticed, he had landed a blow to his chest which knocked the air out of him. Chad's body had tilted forwards in the recoil, which Nick then used his other hand to land a side swing to Chad's left cheek, knocking him down to the ground. Nick then kneeled down and looked into Chad's eyes with hate and forced him to look back up at him.

"You stay away from Will. If I ever see your face around Will's, I'll make sure there won't be a face to look at next time." Nick then let go of Chad's face, letting it hit the pavement as he started to walk away from the beaten up wolf.

Chad had gotten the air back that was cruelly knocked out of him and rose up. He rubbed the back of his aching head from when it hit the sidewalk, dusted off his shirt and tried to make the sharp pain in his cheek and stomach vanish.

Chad could see his house in the distance as he walked down his street and then noticed that Nala was standing by his front porch. As he approached closer to the home, he saw that she had a worried look on her face.

"What are you doing here Nala?" Chad asked while covering up his cheek slightly.

"Emma came by my house and said that something might have happened to you. I just wanted to make sure that you came home safely. What did happen anyway?" Nala said while approaching Chad, curious why he was covering his cheek.

Chad pinned his ears back slightly and looked at Nala. "I got attacked by one of Will's friends."

"Are you alright Chad? They didn't hurt you too badly did they?" Nala asked while slowly removing Chad's paw from his face.

There was a big, red mark as well as a gash on his cheek. There was also blood running down from the wound and on his paw. There was a moment of silence as blood was seen on Chad.

"That Nick guy did this to you didn't he?" Nala guessed while not letting her eyes away from the blood.

Chad was a bit hesitant in responding. "Yeah, how did you know?"

"Scales can end up cutting something if they hit something fast enough, and apparently Nick hit you pretty good from this cut." Nala stated. "We should get this thing treated so nothing bad happens to it." Nala then started to take Chad over to her house.

"Wait what about my parents? They're probably worried about me."

"Oh they told me that they went to go pick up dinner from somewhere. That was only about 5 minutes ago." Nala said as she leaded Chad through her front door.

She pulled out a chair for Chad to sit on as she got out a cloth and got it wet. "Here, this should help the wound a little." Nala said while pressing the cloth on the mark.

At the position that Chad was sitting and Nala standing, Nala was slightly taller than Chad, to the point where if Chad looked down, Nala's cleavage was right around his chin. If he tilted his head forward, or Nala hugged him, he would get a face full of her chest.

Chad shook those dirty thoughts of his out of his head and saw that Nala seemed to be staring at him intently.

"N-Nala?"

"Huh?" Nala snapped back to reality. "Oh sorry Chad, I spaced out for a second."

Chad started to feel a little uncomfortable. "Well I think my cut is fine now so I should probably get home." he slowly took Nala's paw off his cheek and got up out of the chair. Nala then put her other paw on Chad's chest and pushed him back in the chair.

"Can't you stay a little longer? I wanna make sure you're all better." Nala whispered into his ears softly.

"W-What else do you have to do?" Chad asked while looking up at her eyes which apeared oddly different now. Nala didn't answer verbally but gave a clear answer when she gave him a small peck on the cheek where the mark was. She then crossed a leg over Chad and sat on his knees. Nala then looked at Chad while a very unusual look that Chad had never seen before.

Nala then started the lick the revealed skin of his chest that was showing out of the collar of his shirt. Chad's ears perked up and he wasn't sure how to react to Nala's sudden affection, if it should stop or continue.

"W-What are you doing Nala?" Chad asked while blushing and trying to pull away from her. Nala smiled cutely and got really close to his face. So close ,Chad could feel her hot breath on his lips which made his cheeks flush a shade of ruby

"I'm sorry Chad, but I can't hold it out any longer. I like you, a lot. I just want you to be all better." While saying those words, Nala had edged her lips closer to Chad's. What seemed like forever, their lips had made light contact and continued to deepen.

Just as the kiss was becoming intimate, the phone rang loudly, sending the two apart from their fantasies and back to the idea of what they've just done. Nala blushed extremely brightly then quickly got off her friend to answer the phone. Chad was somewhat stunned by what had just happened, his cheeks a right red to where you couldn't noticed he had gotten injured.

Nala was now on the phone, fanning herself to cool her down. "Yeah... Ok, I'll let him know if I see him... Bye." Nala then hung up the phone and looked in the general direction of Chad.

"That was your mom, she just wanted to let you know that dinner is ready." Nala said while twiddling her thumbs slightly.

Chad then got out of the chair and rubbed the back of his head. "Alright, I guess I'll see you tomorrow Nala." He said while walking out the door. Nala just waved good-bye to him as she watched him leave. After the door was shut behind him, Nala smacked her hand against the wall.

"I can't believe I just said that! What the hell came over me that made me want to come out with Chad?! Now things are probably going to be real awkward between us."

Chad stepped through his front door to be greeted by his parents setting up the table. The delicious smells of the food had somewhat distracted his mind from what had just occurred over at Nala's house. He took off his shoes by the front door then walked into the dining room.

"So who's the girl Chad?" His mother asked him while pointing at his cheek. Chad's ears perked up then he ran into the bathroom and looked at the mirror. He had a lipstick mark right over the slash mark which made the cut seem invisible. Chad then remerged into the kitchen holding his cheek slightly and sat down at the table.

"So who is the girl?" His father asked while sticking a forkful of food in his mouth.

"It's that one neighbor girl next door." Emma respond while looking at Chad playfully. Chad shot a death glare over at Emma who then chuckled and continued with her food.

"Is that why you were so late Chad?" His mom asked while setting her plate down and joining the family. "I always figured you two would get together."

Chad tried to keep his family from overreacting. "Mom, it was just a peck on the cheek."

"More like a whole tongue feast." Emma snickered. Chad then gave her a good kick to her shin as his parents stared at him with shocked expressions.

"All she did was kiss a cut that I got on my face, that's all."

"That's not what I heard." Emma couldn't help but crack a large smirk as Chad growled at her.

"Will you shut up already?!" Chad shouted at her.

"Both of you stop it." Chad's father ordered them. "Chad if you're that shy about sharing your feelings about Nala, we'll stop asking."

Chad sighed in relief but was growling under his breath. They still thought he was going out with her. He then decided that when he was done with dinner, he'd go get this mess all straightened out.

_

With his plate cleaned, Chad put it in the sink then told his parents he was going out for a walk, which was a lie.

Chad hesitantly knocked on the front door of Nala's house. He heard steps coming closer and the door opened with Nala looking upset.

"Have you come to break my heart now?" Nala said while looking at Chad with cold eyes.

"I was hoping we could talk." Chad said while twitching his ears.

"I'll take that as a yes..." Nala muttered with her head tilted down. Chad saw that she was too upset for words, so he'd have to take action instead.

He picked up Nala's chin with his paws, then planted his lips onto hers. She perked up her ears as her eyes were opened, not believing what just occurred. She knew it was real when she felt the tip of his tongue rub up against hers.

Nala then grabbed at Chad's shirt and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss as their tongues started mingling with each other. Chad wrapped his other paw around the back of Nala' head pushing her tongue which was already deep inside his mouth, in further allowing it to explore more as their tongues danced fluidly along.

As Nala started to swirl her tongue around Chad's, he continued to deepen the kiss as his tongue licked the roof of her mouth slowly, causing the kitten to purr softly and sway her tail around. The kiss was finally broken, and left behind a thick trail of saliva which connected the lips of the two furs.

Nala saw the line of their love and blushed brightly. "Well we had fun." She said while braking the trail of saliva with her tongue and letting it fall. Chad wagged his tail as Nala and him stared at each other, gazing into the other's heart.

Nala then adverted her gaze as she tried to bring up a question. "C-Chad, I was wondering if you would like to spend the n-night at my house." Chad's ears perked up and he blushed as he heard the request. "W-Wait, I don't mean it like that." Nala reassured while blushing like Chad.

"Well I would have to see what my parents would say. Won't you need to ask your's?" Chad asked while twitching an ear.

Nala giggled and licked Chad's nose. "My parents are going to be out of town for the week for their anniversary."

Chad smiled and licked the cat's cheek. "Well my parents will probably say yes so we should be set"

"Yay!" Nala jumped slightly and gave Chad a small hug. "Well I'm going to go get ready, text me when you're coming over."

Chad nodded and swayed his tail. "Ok, I'll see you in a little bit."

__

"You want to sleep with who?!" Chad's mother asked.

"Mom I'm just going to spend the night at Nala's. Nothing's going to happen and we're going to sleep on different floors to make sure nothing does." Chad explained to his overly cautious mother.

"I'm still not very approving of it." His mom stated.

"Oh come one dear." Chad's father while jumping in. "The boy's not going to get many chances like this. I mean come on, so what if he busts the girl's cherry. He'll at least be smart and use protection won't you boy?"

"Rick!?" Chad's mother was appalled that he was speaking such things around her sweet little cub who wasn't much of a cub anymore. Chad however was somewhat stunned by his father's.... expectations.

"Mary, he's not going to get anywhere in life in you keep babying him like this. The best thing to do is just let him do his thing. If it comes back to bite him, then he'll learn his lesson." His father said while winking at Chad.

"Well, alright, but you better not be in the same bed with each other." His mother said while looking at Chad who had already ran up to gather his things when he heard the magic word. He then heard his father say. "Jeez, just ruin the pup's fun why don't you."

__

As Chad approached Nala's house in his sleeping gear, he was actually quite nervous. He knocked on the door which was quickly opened up by a slimly dressed cat.

"Hope you don't mind, It's supposed to get hot tonight and I like to stay cool." Nala said while letting the canine walk in and set his pillow and clothes down. She then shut the door behind him, and letting the start of a crazy night, begin.
