Hope; Belief. (Prologue)

"Myself? I have always believed in hope...."
The female looked up from her cup of green tea, steam lightly rising from the liquid, making her icy orbs seem blurry and unfocused in the already dark room. Those viewing this Sharkess would be amazed; her eyes were like traps. Once looking within them...one could barely break free from their bonds.
"I can hardly understand why one would ask if I believed in hope. Looking back on my past, I only came through to were I am today because of hope. Hoping that something out there would save me. Hoping that something within me would push me on. That hope came through when I met my mate, and soon, I am to be mother to his young. I could not be more blest, and why has this fortune rested upon my fins, you ask? Because I believe in hope."
A dark smirk graced her lips, and she set down the cup before raising her form up, her long silver curls dancing before her eyes while a sea-green luminescence seemed to colour her dark-skinned, aquatic form. Rising, the Sharkess giggled cheekily, the room's darkness eerie, gloomy. She held out a webbed hand, her lips parting to reveal her extremely sharp fangs, a low growl emanating from her throat while her eyes darkened and swirled, turning bloody red. A scythe appeared in a swirl of twining blue light, jagged, sharp edge pointed toward your throat.
_ "However, ningen, because you have angered me, because you hurt one I care about...there is...officially...no hope for you..."_
She leapt forth.
