Season Finale: Neon Sunset

Hilde pushed the front door open and stepped back into the kitchen of her family home. Her bangs were plastered to her forehead with sweat, the rest of her hair pinned up in a short ponytail. "I'm back, Mom."

The older wolf smiled at her from the stove, where she was mixing some eggs. "Welcome back, honey. How was this morning's run?"

"Good, ran an extra mile since we've had so little snow the last few weeks." Hilde panted the words and wiped her brow of sweat. She felt a shiver go down her spine, the chill from outside setting upon her, now that her heart rate was coming down.

"Well, I'm just getting started on breakfast. Go grab a warm shower before you set up with a cold." The mother wolf spoke the words out in a gentle but firm tone.

"Alright, thanks Mom." The younger wolf quickly moved from the kitchen, heading to her bedroom. She quickly gathered some clothes and made for the shower.

Hilde pushed her forehead to the shower wall, still feeling a faint pant on her breath from the hard run. The hot water rushed down over her, the heat soothing and warming after the heavy exercise. She didn't bother with shampooing her hair, she knew she would take a more thorough shower this afternoon, once practice was done. Opting to just rinse her white locks out for now.

Humming to herself after stepping out of the shower, she wrapped a towel around her small body and used another to begin drying her wet hair. The young wolf was a little on the shorter side of things, like her mother. This was one of the reasons she looked up to the bodyguard so much. Tracey was also on the smaller side, but she was tough and a strong fighter.

The young woman pulled the towel from her body, moving it to more thoroughly dry and fluff out her tail. She continued to hum to herself and glanced at her own body in the mirror. It had only been two months since this all began, but she could already see the definition and tone starting to show in her limbs.

Her tail wagged while she turned to look her backside over in the mirror. Her butt and hips had taken on a little more curve, thanks to the definition of muscle there. These last two months had really started to show, it stood to reason though. Working out and training was essentially her full time job now. She had been running five days a week and hitting three different martial arts academies twice per week. On top of regular visits to the gym she had joined.

Hilde quickly donned her panties and sports bra, the second article feeling a little tight. She frowned and tugged at the fit, seeing the muscles in her chest had made her go up another size or two. "Guess I better look into some new bras."

After brushing her hair out and pinning it back in a small ponytail, she donned the rest of her outfit for the day. Hilde gave herself a grin in the mirror and moved out of the bathroom, returning to the kitchen.

Her mother had just finished things and gave her a smile upon entry. "Have a seat, sweetie." The older wolf hummed the words and moved to place a large plate of eggs, meat, and vegetables down.

"Thanks, I'm starving." The younger dog spoke the words excitedly, moving to sit and go right to work on her breakfast.

The older wolf sat down across from her daughter, her own plate of food in one hand, a mug of coffee in the other. "So what's on your agenda today?"

Hilde lifted her ears and finished chewing before taking a sip of her own coffee. "I've got judo at ten this morning, then there's boxing later around three. I might sneak in a few hours at the gym between then."

"Don't injure yourself like you did a few weeks ago, dear." The older dog spoke out with concern.

"I will be okay, it was just a pulled muscle. Anyway, I've brought the tempo down a few degrees, just until I'm one hundred percent again." Hilde took a few more bites of food and saw the look her mother was giving her, like she wanted to say more. "What?"

"I'm still not happy about this." Her mother spoke out pointedly.

"Yes, I know." Hilde replied before taking another sip of coffee.

"And you're just going to do what you want, huh?" The older wolf gave her an annoyed frown.

"Yes, I am. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I plan to see it through." The younger wolf spoke confidently, her tail wagging behind her.

"It's such a dangerous job though." Her mother spoke out, the tone in her voice becoming more authoritative.

"Everything is dangerous, Mom. People die everyday just driving to their perfectly safe jobs." Hilde growled the words and looked away. "Can we not have this argument at breakfast? I feel bad upsetting you after you cooked for me."

Her mother gave a sigh and relented. "Alright... just know I worry about you."

"I get that, but if anything this is making me a stronger woman, so you won't have to worry so much." The younger wolf gave her mother a grin, then returned to her breakfast.

"I'm still not sure how this all happened... it's all been moving so quickly." Her mother sighed the words and shook her head. She still had not received the full story, on how her daughter met Tracey to begin with.

Hilde snapped up the rest of her breakfast before giving a satisfied huff. "Damn, I love your eggs."

"It's just scrambled eggs, sweetie." Her mother gave her a smile.

"As to how it happened..." The younger wolf moved from the table, taking her dishes to the sink to quickly clean them. "Well sometimes you have to take chances in life, you know what I mean?"

"Would you like to elaborate upon that, dear?" The mother wolf asked, while holding her mug of mostly drank coffee.

"Will you promise not to freak out?" Hilde grinned at her from the sink, her tail slowly wagging.

"Hello my loves!" Electric Blue called out to the roaring crowd before him. He just stood there, basking in the adoration, listening to their cheers and screams for him. Several seconds passed, the idol just standing there, his arms spread and his palms open. It was as if he were feeding on their energy and excitement.

"Welcome to the last night of our tour!" The idol called out and placed his fingertips on his chin, trying his best to look introspective for the crowd. The whole building seemed to shake with the enthusiasm of the fans. Leo pointed a finger as if to talk, then just waited and rolled a hand, as if allowing them to continue cheering for him.

"Fucking showboating nerd." Tracey barked out from the sidelines. She had a grin on her face, her arms crossed over her stomach, her tail lazily wagging behind her.

"It's his last one for a while, he wants to drink it all in." Max called out to her with a smile and shoved his fist out towards the wolf.

Tracey snorted and knocked fists with him without even making eye contact. "It's good to see him so happy... it's all I want." The white wolf spoke the words with a smile.

The rat showed his teeth, lightly bumping the wolf with his hip. Tracey looked down at him questioningly. "You've changed a lot, Tracey. You seem much happier now."

She showed her sharp teeth and moved a hand to pat at the rat's completely shaved head. The wolf was careful not to muss the blue and white stars Trixe had given him, before the show began. "Ha! I'm not the only one, Maximillian!"

Trixie came up behind the two of them and folded her arms. "Don't fuck up my work, I'm not fixing them."

The wolf gave the llama a grin and moved her hand from Max's head, before flipping her off. "Bite me, I was watching out for them~"

"So! Before we begin the show, I want to do something a little special. Seeing as it's the last night of the tour and all~" The idol spoke out to the fans, his small fluff of tail flicking about rapidly. He grinned at their cheers of interest..

"Oh fuck... here he goes again..." Trixie groaned the words aloud. Max frowned and stiffened his back. Tracey just rolled her eyes and growled at the ram.

"So this will take a few minutes..." Blue paced the stage as he spoke, looking out over the audience. "You see, I've been with all these people almost a year now. I've said it before and I will say it again. I'm nothing without them."

The crowd grew quieter as the idol continued to speak humbly before them. "So... I'm calling them up here by their jobs. I want you guys to show them all the love you would me. Can you do that for me?"

The building rumbled with cheers from the fans and Max pushed his palm to his forehead. "Damn it... you heard the man..." The manager spoke out as he connected the mic, holding a finger to his ear piece. "Everyone group up by your positions and wa-"

"And since I love catching him flat footed! The first one I want to introduce is my manager!" The idol called out over the feed and gave Max a grin from the stage.

The rat glared and shook his head. "I am not going out there, Leo ba-"

Max yelped out as Trixie grabbed his arm and started pulling him with her to the stage. "Come on, Max... don't slow the show down~" The llama spoke out cheerfully.

Leo grinned as the two made their way out to the stage. Trixie gave a lazy look to the crowd and brushed her pink hair back. Max just fidgeted awkwardly. "So this is my manager Maximillian, none of this would be possible without him." The crowd roared and cheered while the small man gave them an awkward wave of his hand.

"And this... is my assistant manager, Trixie. She also does my makeup and hair. It's no exaggeration to say I wouldn't be Electric Blue without her." The idol gave the llama a grin while introducing her. The crowd applauded in appreciation for her and Max.

And so it went. It took several minutes, but every member of the staff got a moment in the limelight. From the technicians that worked on the sound equipment, to the drivers of the buses. Everyone but one particular individual.

"Well... I think that takes care of everyone." The idol cooed the words out to the audience. The crowd clapped but seemed restless. The ram smiled over the masses and perked his ears up. "Ah... did I forget someone?"

The white wolf scowled and folded her ears, her cheeks turning red. She could easily hear her name circulating through the crowd. The idol put a hand to his chest in a mock look of shock. "Oh, how silly of me... of course I didn't forget. It's called building tension my loves~"

"Asshole... I'm gonna kill him!" The wolf growled the words and clenched her fist.

"She bitches, but I think secretly she likes it." Trixie called the words out towards Max.

The rat grinned and nodded at Trixie. "Yeah, you can tell because of her tail wagging."

Tracey glares at both of them and then at her own tail which was furiously cutting through the air. She showed her teeth and willed the wagging to stop.

"So I don't think I need to introduce her, but please show your love for my lovely bodyguard, Tracey~" The idol called out, pride in his voice as he motioned a hand towards the side of the stage.

Tracey growled and took a step forward before Trixie grabbed her arms and halted her. The llama met the wolf's eyes and spoke to her pointedly. "Remember what I told you months ago... This is here and now. You have no promised tomorrows. Bask in the moment and in his love for you."

The wolf blinked at the words and felt her pull away, the llama gave her a gentle push to get her feet back into motion. Tracey folded her ears in thought while she paced out under the hot lights of the stage. Even through the roars of the crowd she could hear her own heartbeat thumping in her ears.

Leo gave Tracey an adoring grin as she approached. She didn't realize it in the moment, but Trixie had pushed something into her hand during the exchange. The white wolf looked out over the crowd cheering for her. She thought about her friends, about her mother, and Helen.

Her azure eyes shifted to his chest, seeing the silver pendant resting there. She then moved them up to look into his eyes. Leo gave her a sad smile, as if he already knew what she was thinking about.

Tracey took a deep breath, closed her eyes and focusing her thoughts. She pulled the radio piece out of her ear. Then quickly donned the mic and earpiece, that Trixie had pushed into her hands. She heard the feed go live in her ear and opened her eyes, giving the idol a confident grin.

"I don't think any of you know the story behind that pendant he's wearing..." Tracey speaks the words out casually. She begins walking and pacing the stage, not unlike how the idol had done before her.

The wolf flicks her ears and folds her arms over her stomach, looking out over tens of thousands of fans before her. "It's my late grandmother's and It's my most prized possession."

"She was an amazing woman!" The idol spoke out sharply to the crowd, jarring everyone to look upon him again. "My website has a segment on her. Go look her up later."

Tracey smiled at the idol. "Really... how long has that been? You never told me."

The idol smiled and shrugged. "A few months now..."

Tracey grinned at him and then turned back to the masses before her. "Here is what I want to say to all of you... Thank you. Thank you for loving Leo... He is a kind and wonderful man. Please don't ever stop loving one another either, that's all my grandmother wanted."

The crowd roared to life with cheers and applause. Tracey gave them a blushing grin and turned to walk back to the idol. "Sorry for stealing your show~"

"It's cool. I will play bodyguard and let you do the singing and dancing tonight!" The idol spoke the words playfully, the crowd cheering and laughing in response.

The wolf gave him a laugh and shook her head. "Get to your fans, darling..." Tracey spoke the words playfully and put a hand on his chest, resting it on the locket. She stood up on her toes and gave him a quick kiss, the audience reacting with enthusiasm. She gave him another smile and moved to leave the stage.

"Sing a few songs with me~" The idol called out, not even bothering to turn and look at her. The crowd screamed their eagerness for the duets.

"T-this isn't karaoke you dumb ram!" Tracey fired off without thinking. The crowd filled with laughs and 'ooohs'.

"Ha! You see the abuse I put up with?" The idol called out to the crowd, then grinned at Tracey over his shoulder. "C'mon hun, they want you to... my fans would let you know if they didn't like it." The concert hall roared it's affirmation to his words.

Tracey pushed her palm to her cheek and looked over at Trixie with a smile. The llama put her hands on her hips and grinned at the wolf from the side of the stage. "Alright... but all of you paid good money for this show. If I bring it down, please tell me. I don't want to ruin your nights."

The crowd cheered as the wolf moved over to stand next to the idol. Leo gave her a look full of pride and pointed out to the audience. "Okay! That's enough talk, these people came here for music!"

Tracey grinned as she heard the drummer Neil pop his sticks together a few times to cue the pace of the song, then the bass and synthesizers joined in. Lasers bathed the wolf and ram as the two of them began the first song of the set.

Of course Tracey knew the lyrics, she had been listening to his songs almost daily for the last six months. Leo slipped behind her and pushed his back to her own while they sang together. The wolf grinned between verses and pushed back against him.

"This is insane..." Max grumbled and rubbed his face.

"It's cute... they look so happy together." Trixie called out to the rat. "You should find a sitter and bring Joanne to a show or two next tour."

"She might enjoy that. Maybe so, when we're near my home next tour." The rat smiled while watching the ram and wolf on stage. "It's rough but her singing isn't all that bad, it seems to harmonize well with his."

Trixie grinned and folded her arms. "Maybe we should put her through some lessons, make her an occasional duet partner for him. People eat up that stuff... couples singing together..."

It was harder work than she expected. The lights were hot and she was starting to understand why the idol wore such exposing clothes. Leo smiled at her and once the current song came to an end, he spoke out over the feed. "Go get some water real quick."

Tracey nodded and quickly slipped back stage, killing the feed on her mic. Max had already prepared a bottle of water for her. Tracey drank it down and huffed out. "Damn... that's harder than it looks..."

"You look like you're having fun, Tracey." The manager smiled at her playfully.

The wolf grinned and looked up at the idol prancing around on stage talking to the crowd. "I am..."

"So! Quickly now, how are you liking this my loves? Give me a thumbs up if you're enjoying it, give me a thumbs down if you're not." The idol folded his arms and looked over the crowd, grinning at them. "Now... you guys aren't just doing that for my sake are you?" The idol gave a laugh at the almost universal 'No' that seemed to echo out from the crowd.

"Freaking nerd..." Tracey grumbled the words and finished her water, before climbing back onto the stage. She turned the mic back on and moved over to the idol.

"Welcome back~" The idol cooed the words and the audience returned his gesture with cheers.

"Thanks. Sorry to keep you waiting, uh... loves?" Tracey barked the last of the words awkwardly. The audience echoed their approval and the wolf showed her teeth in a childish grin.

The show played out without incident and the crowd seemed to really enjoy her participating with Leo. A few fans thought about climbing up to the stage, but the wolf would always transition towards that side of the stage. A quick show of teeth and glare sufficed to deter the situation.

In a way, this made her job easier. She was front and center for him. Standing guard in plain sight, both a deterrent and entertainment at the same time. The songs came and went and the show went by much faster than she expected or would have liked.

The finale was upon them and Tracey moved up to Leo, pushing close to his chest. "Ah... for Neon Sunset..."

"Yeah?" The idol rested a hand on her hip, his ears lifting curiously.

"It's one of my favorites too... however... I want to try something, is that okay?" Tracey huffed the words out, a slight pant on her breath from all the singing and dancing with him.

"I'm not opposed if they aren't~" He pointed to the audience who of course was happy to parrot whatever he wanted.

Tracey drooped her ears and snorted into her mic. "I hope you guys are really enjoying this and I've not ruined your nights..."

The audience sent waves of encouragement towards the white wolf and she grinned, her cheeks darkening. She understood now, what she saw before with him. Understood how the energy of the crowd, could feed into your own. The wolf gave the ram a confident glance. "Start the song like normal, don't wait for me to go in time with you."

The idol grinned and nodded. "Let's hit it guys!" He pointed to his band as the synthesizers and lasers started up. The intro finished and Blue started the song up with practiced form. The lyrics came off strong and focused and the audience happily sang them in time with him.

Tracey clenched her teeth and took in a controlling breath, she wouldn't be able to sync up with him on this. It was going to be all her.

"Take my hand, as we gaze upon a neon sunset~" The idol sang the main chorus and the moment he finished, the wolf was before him.

"So let's just dance, this is our last chance~" Tracey sang the words gently, pushing her hand to his side. The ram quickly took her hand in his, pulling her into a dance like they shared before.

The idol grinned as he continued to sing "The laser lights and neon~"

The wolf smiled and put her head on his chest. "The pain of our last goodbye~"

"Take my hand~"

"All I wanted was this dance~"

The corgi seemed to pick up on things and started cutting some bits of true blue avenue into the main song.

"Take my hand, as we gaze~"

"Hold my hand, this is our last chance~"

Leo pulled her closer, the wolf was now resting her hands upon his chest. She looked upon him, tears in her eyes and smiling as she sang. The audience had stopped singing and just listened. They listened while the two songs were blended together in a bitter sweet harmony.

The bodyguard nuzzled his chest while singing out. "The pain of our final goodbye~"

The idol stroked his fingertips down her braid of hair. "Time will hold still for us~"

Synthetic music and lasers filled the concert hall, while they held one another and danced. Every lyric he sang of the hopeful optimistic song, she cut into with the melancholy words of the other. It weaved into a story all on it's own. One lover trying to optimistically keep things going, while the other brought the reality of ending down upon them.

"Hold my hand~"

"Take my hand~"

"Walk with me down this blue avenue-"

"Into a neon sunset..."

Tracey pushed her head to his chest, feeling tears well up in her eyes. Leo grinned and held her close, his own eyes filled with tears. He looked out over the crowd seeing them all looking humble and introspective.

"... how was it?" Tracey asked weakly, trying to keep her voice from cracking as she spoke.

"Intense..." The idol spoke back to her softly. He gently pulled from her arms and wiped his own eyes, before putting his hands on his hips. "What's your evaluation?"

The audience seemed slow to shake the feelings off as well, but soon enough it was a rolling mass of approval. Tracey grinned and looked to Leo, her tail wagging slowly.

"Good work cutting them on the fly like that, James!" Leo spoke out to the corgi at the deck.

"Just doing my job, boss." The small dog gave the idol a nod and grinned.

"What a night... what a tour!" The idol called out towards the audience and grinned as they cheered. Leo grinned over at Tracey. "Anything you want to leave everyone with?"

The wolf grinned and put a hand on her hip, looking over the crowd. "Thank you... thank you for putting up with my singing and loving my dumb boyfriend." The room filled with enthusiasm at her words and she clearly heard some 'I love you Tracy' lines mixed into the cheers. She smiled and shook her head before flashing them all a cocky grin. "I love all of you too!"

"Hey! That's my line!" Leo huffed out defensively. Max grinned and gave the motion to drop the stage curtains. The idol saw the curtains lowering and quickly barked out into his own mic. "I love all of you more, damn it!"

The crowd cheered and screamed it's love as the curtains fell. Tracey stood before the ram and put her hands on her hips. Leo smiled at her and cocked a brow before speaking out. "What?"

Tracey flicked her ear, hearing the calls from the other side of the curtain for an encore. "Are we?"

The idol showed his teeth and looked over at his band, who were just sitting there at the ready. "Do you see them breaking down their equipment?"

"So what are we singing?" The wolf asked him with a smirk.

"You mean, what are you singing. I'm out~" The idol quickly fled the stage as the curtain started raising.

The wolf widened her eyes as the curtain started lifting on her alone. She hadn't even realized the feed had gone live on her mic again as she growled at the idol. "Get back here you stupid sheep! If you don't, I will sing something ridiculous just to piss you off!"

Her ears lifted as she heard herself on the feed and turned to look upon the audience. There was an awkward murmur from the crowd as the wolf rubbed the back of her head.

"Anything but ska!" Someone screamed out from deep within the audience. The rest of the audience started cheering for her eagerly.

"Sorry guys, probably not the encoure you were hoping for..." The wolf grinned and cleared her throat. "Well then..." Tracey looked to the side of the stage, seeing the idol standing next to Max, giving her a thumbs up.

The bodyguard showed her teeth. "Fine... you don't want to sing with me? I will remember this later~"

Leo felt a chill run down his spine and quickly scrambled back onto the stage. "Ha ha... just kidding, loves!" There was a collective laugh from the crowd but Tracey just gave the idol a fussy glare. "So what are we singing, hun?"

"So now, it's we?" The wolf snorts and moves over to James and asks him a few questions. She showed a grin as he nods then moved back to the idol. The corgi began to speak quickly to the other bandmates explaining things.

Tracey cleared her throat and turned back on her mic. "Alright loves... this one is before most of your times. Hell, it's before mine too. I hope you don't mind."

"Oh, what are we singing?" Leo gave her an eager grin.

"Life on Mars." Tracey nodded to the corgi to begin. "You know the lyrics?"

The idol gave her a grin and put his hands on his hips. "Where do you think my makeup idea came from?"

The song got started right away and Tracey began singing without missing a beat. It took the idol a few moments to shift gears from his style of pop to this one. Soon enough they were in harmony with one another.

She grinned while holding his hands, hearing some of the audience singing along with them. "I knew there was a reason I loved you..." The wolf huffed the words playfully at him between the short guitar solo.

The ram and wolf gave the audience a few more songs after that, before officially ending the show. The tour had ended and with that, Tracey's contract. For the time being she wasn't his bodyguard. She was simply his girlfriend and the thought of that made her very happy.

"Are you sure I look okay?" Leo asked her for the fifth time in less than an hour.

"You look fine, it's my Mom, not an interview!" The wolf barked the words while focusing on the road. She hadn't been behind the wheel of a car in months, so she was trying to remain focused.

"Sorry, just a little nervous." The ram grinned awkwardly and looked out the passengers side window. He had flushed the blue dye from his hair for the season, opting for the more natural off white of it. He had taken several inches off the length for the spring and summer.

"You look fine, Darling... for a nerd~" Tracey gave him a quick smile before returning her attention to the road. They were both in jeans, hers black and his blue. She wore a very typical short sleeved blue top like most of the ones she owned. He had on a thin hawaiian style shirt, the color of light blue, with little paw prints dotting it. He had strategically left the top few buttons undone, just enough to give the faintest glimpse of the definition in his chest.

Tracey pulled her old muscle car into her mother's driveway and whistled at the new siding on the house. "Huh... they did a good job, place looks great now." She spoke the words while climbing from the car.

Leo climbed from the passenger side and awkwardly followed beside his girlfriend. Tracey gave him a grin and reached out to grip his hand with her own. He smiled and gripped her hand, feeling some of his tension ease. "You're gonna be fine, Leo."

Tracey hummed to herself while knocking at the door. It opened and her mother was hugging her right away. The younger wolf barked a laugh and hugged her back. "Geeze, Mom... you act like you've not seen me in half a year!"

The older wolf pulled from her arms with a playful glare. "You don't say?" Her blue eyes averted towards the taller man standing beside her daughter. "Ah, you must be Leonard."

"Yes, Mrs Wellford. It's nice to meet you. Please uhm... just call me Leo." The ram spoke the words nervously and grinned.

She gave him a grin in response, it was an interesting thing to see for him. So many features like his lover but also different and not quite the same. "Tracey, please come in. I will make us some tea."

Leo found himself seated at a small dinner table, with his girlfriend and her mother. Tracey was already looking relaxed and sipping on the hot earl grey. The younger wolf spoke out after a sip. "Me and Leo have an errand to run in a few. I would like to take you out for dinner tonight though."

"That would be nice, Tracey." The older wolf sipped her own tea before shifting her gaze to the ram. Leo stiffed his back slightly and lifted his ears. "So, you're her client?"

"Ah... well I was. Technically her contract isn't active right now." He spoke the words with a grin.

"Ha... I'm babysitting your ass twenty four seven, contract or not." Tracey grinned and moved a hand to gently rest on his.

"This is all new to me, I've never had this situation happen to me." The older wolf smiled, watching the two of them before her.

Tracey nodded at the words. "Well... love never was very high on my priority list."

The older dog lifted her ears at the words. "Love? Has it already gotten that far along with you two?"

Leo and Tracey shared a look and then he cleared his throat. "Yes, it has. I love your daughter very much, Mrs Wellford." Tracey grumbled and looked away, her cheeks flushing.

"That's so wonderful. I'm really happy, have you two made any plans?" The older wolf asked eagerly.

"The hell is that supposed to mean, Mom?" The younger wolf showed her teeth with a growl.

"Actually! I came here today to ask for your blessings!" Leo fired back, giving the older wolf his finger guns.

"Oh my... are you serious, Leo?" Her mother grinned, her eyes looking between the two of them.

"He isn't!" Tracey growled the words and shoved a jab into his shoulder, which made his whole body shudder.

Leo winced and grabbed where she punched him, a grin on his face. "Heh... worth it..."

"Tracey, are you always this violent with him?" Her mother asked her with a disapproving tone.

"Only half the time, Mom~" The younger wolf huffs the words playfully.

Leo showed his teeth and rubbed his shoulder while a grinning. "It's fine Mrs Wellford. I think her little outbursts are cute."

"You have terrible taste in women, darling." Tracey spoke the words pointedly at him but smiled.

"I fell in love with you, the first time you shoved me up against the wall and threatened to kill me~" The ram spoke the words poetically.

"Y-you're kidding, right?" The older wolf stammered the words and blinked at the two of them.

"He isn't. I was ready to beat him half to death when we first met." Tracey spoke the words dryly. The wolf then folded her ears and gave a sigh, looking back at him and grinning. "Rams are stubborn..."

Leo grinned and moved to hold her hand again. "Trust me, it's not like she spends every day kicking me around. A lot of the abuse I bring upon myself anyway~"

"You do." Tracey snorts the words back at him.

"I can't believe how much you've changed, Tracey. You seem more relaxed and... happy. Are you sure I didn't imagine you, Leo?" Her mother grinned at the younger wolf and ram.

Leo shot her mother a finger gun as he started to sing lyrically. "I'm sorry Mrs Wellford, I am for reeeeal~"

Tracey fixed him with a glare. "Seriously?"

The older wolf giggled at the words. "You're so cute, what do you do Leo?"

He gave her a shocked look and then glanced at Tracey. The wolf gave a shrug before speaking. "It's against my contract to talk about my clients work, regardless of my personal stake in it."

The ram folded his arms in thought, then lifted a finger. "Do you listen to any newer music, Mrs Wellford?"

"Ah... some. Mostly just whatever's popular and playing on the radio. Why do you ask?" The older wolf tilted her head curiously.

"Have you heard this song?" He clears his throat and quickly sings out the main chorus from neon sunset.

"Oh! Yes, I hear that one played often, it's a very catchy song." She nods the words with a smile.

Leo gives a cocky smile. "Take out your cell phone and search 'neon sunset singer'" Tracey gives the ram a fussy glare but doesn't say anything.

"Well, alright." The older wolf takes out her phone and begins to search the information. "Oh, a fellow named Electric Blue sings it. I think I remember hearing his name from the radio station. Hmm... says here his real name is Leonard Montone..."

The wolf looks from her phone to the ram multiple times then lifts her ears. "Huh... you two look really similar, Leo. If only your hair were longer and blue."

Tracey barks out a laugh and picks up her tea, taking a sip.

Leo shows his teeth in a grin. "That is me. I just took the blue out of my hair and trimmed it up since it's getting warmer."

"Oh, I see. Why didn't you just say so to begin with?" The wolf smiled at him and tucked her cellphone away.

"She's just like you, eh?" Leo smiles at Tracey.

"We are like night and day, darling. However we do get a few things right we agree upon. Neither of us ever gave a hoot about money and fame." Tracey finished her tea and lets out a content sigh.

"Well you two seem very happy. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better Leo." She smiles at the ram and wags her tail with a little effort.

"Me too, Mrs Wellford. I love your daughter very much." The ram gave her a smile.

Tracey sighed and climbed from the table. "Yeah, well let's talk more over dinner. I will bring you up to speed on everything later tonight, Mom."

"Oh, you're leaving already, Tracey?" The older wolf drooped her ears with a frown.

"Relax, Mom. I will be back in a few hours." Tracey gave her a smile.

Leo rose from his seat and smiled at Tracey. "Yeah, I will also answer any questions you have."

Her mother gave her a long look, as if reading her posture. "Tracey, honey... is that a good idea?"

"It is." Leo chimed in before Tracey could open her mouth. The older wolf turned to him and the idol flicked another button free on his shirt, pulling it open enough to show the silver locket against his chest.

The older wolf's mouth gaped slightly and she put the pieces together right away. She set her jaw and gave the ram a nod. "Thank you, I don't even know the details yet. However I already know, you've done an immense kindness to my daughter."

"I will be back in a few hours, Mom." Tracey spoke the words and pushed past the two of them, walking back to her car.

Leo frowned and folded his arms, watching her go. He looked back to the older wolf and gave a smile. "I will bear any burden your daughter has."

"I believe you, Leo. Take good care of my little girl..." The older wolf offered him a smile, before he turned and left the house.

The sun was starting to sink, the sky faintly turning to hues of orange and red. Tracey hadn't spoken much on the half hour drive there. She walked with a purposeful stride past the grave sites, a small brown bag in hand. The ram following beside her silently, holding a small bundle of flowers.

She came upon the trio of headstones and clenched her teeth, the memories rushing back in. Leo stopped when she did and placed his free hand on her shoulder, giving her a reassuring nod. Tracey blinked up at him, her eyes already wet and nodded back.

The white wolf stepped to the central headstone and let out a sigh, running her fingertips through the red and white bangs of her hair. "Hey grandmother... I know it's been a while. Some dumb ram had me gallivanting all over the country for half a year..."

Leo stood next to her with a smile, saying nothing. Tracey took out a fifth a bottle of southern whiskey from the bag she carried. "You want a hit?" Tracey asked him with a weak voice that cracked a little.

"Not if I'm driving, hun." The ram spoke back gently.

Tracey nodded and uncapped the black labeled bottle. She took a long pull from it, feeling it burn down her throat. She then gave a sigh and turned the rest of the bottle over. The amber liquid seemed to shimmer in the fading rays of sunset. Tumbling down in the air, spilling over the stone and earth below.

"I never drank with her, but she always told me number seven was her favorite..." The wolf growled the words and capped the empty bottle, laying it at the base of the headstone. Leo moved next to her and laid the flowers against the wet stone.

Tracey simply fell back and took a seat on the grass. She looked over the stone, an elbow resting on her bent knee. "I brought this guy with me, Helen... he's alright..."

Leo smiled and took a seat next to her. "I wish I could have met you Mrs Sherry... but your grand daughter won't shut up about you. Everything she tells me and I read about you, you're one hell of a gal..."

"She is, huh?" Tracey barks out and shakes her head with a growl. "Leo... thank you for coming with me..."

"Of course, I'm your rock." The ram spoke the words gently, then lets out a grunt as the wolf shoved herself into his chest, clutching him tightly. He smiled and held the woman he loved, held her while she sobbed and cried out against his chest. His hand stayed on her head, stroking her hair and ears.

There were no words to be said, she didn't do anything but cling to him and cry. He held her close and let her take as much time as she needed. Several minutes passed and the wolf gave a ragged sigh, her body shuddering. She croaked out weakly in a small voice. "I'm sorry..."

"Don't be... don't ever apologize for something like this..." He spoke the words gently, his fingertips moving over her face to brush her tears away. Tracey blinked up at him and gave a weak, fragile smile.

Leo grinned and pushed his forehead to hers, looking into her wet eyes. "I live to see you smile. I love you, Tracey."

"I love you too, Leo..." The wolf whispered the words and shoved her mouth to his. He held her tightly, kissing her and tasting the smokey flavor of whiskey on her breath.

They kissed for several moments, before she pulled from his lips and rested her head against his chest. He held her close while they sat there, in the peace and stillness. The air smelled of grass, earth and faintly of whiskey. The rays of the sun quickly began to fade into dusk.

"I will write a song about her..." The ram finally spoke out after several minutes of silence.

"Yeah?" Tracey asked weakly.

"Yeah... will you help me write it?" He spoke the words gently into her ears.

"Sure... but only if you really want to, Leo." She nodded against his chest while speaking in a whisper.

"I really do. I want the world to understand and see her, see what she lived and died for. I have the means of doing that." He moved his hands to rub at her ears gently.

"Leo... a lot of that is over now. People aren't so hyped up on the whole predator and non-predator thing. For better or worse, her dreams did come true..." Tracey frowned and gently pulled from his chest.

"They still should know about her sacrifice. Appreciate the past, so you don't repeat it kind of thing." The ram grinned at her as he spoke the words.

Tracey looked back at the headstone and nodded her head. "We will see what we can come up with."

Leo grinned and wiped her cheeks again. "You good now?"

Tracey gave a nod and found her feet. "Yeah... I got it out of my system. Thanks for letting me"

He stood with her and moved in for another quick kiss. "You know I'm happy to do it... I'm always here for you, Tracey."

"Thank you. I would like to come again before the next tour, will you come with me?" She spoke out gently towards him.

"I will, any time and every time." He gave the wolf a reassuring grin.

Tracey gave him a loving grin, then turned and gave a small bow to the headstone. "I will come again, Helen. I love you."

Leo gave his own polite bow then grinned. "Don't worry, Mrs Sherry. I will take good care of her. You have my word, so you just rest easy." He placed his hand over the locket on his chest.

Tracey smiled and took his hand, both of them walking back to her car. She grinned and squeezed his hand before speaking out. "You can be pretty awesome sometimes, you know that?"

"Come on, Tracey. We didn't fly all the way out there for you to hide in the bathroom." Leo spoke the words playfully from the otherside of the door.

"Screw you, go to the beach yourself, I'm not going out in this... thing you bought me!" The wolf barked the words back through the door.

The ram clicked his tongue. "Come on... you've got a great body, let me see~"

"I've got scars you dip shit, I can't wear this in public!" The wolf growled back.

"I think all of you is beautiful. If someone says anything, I will punch them in the face!" The ram spoke the words confidently.

"R-really?" Her voice came out surprisingly timidly.

"Yes, so let me see already." He huffed out and felt his tension ease when he heard the door unlock.

Tracey stepped out with a frown on her face, she had her hair pinned up in a high ponytail. The wolf sported a white swimsuit, a two piece to be exact. The top half just covered the front of her breasts, turning to strings everywhere else, it clearly showed the rounded flesh from the sides and below. The lower portion of the outfit would barely pass as underwear in her opinion. It barely covering her crotch and rear, again strings on the side fully showing off her naturally curvy hips.

"Ugh... this is terrible... if I even so much as jogged in it, I would fall out of the top." The wolf mumbled and looked herself over in a large mirror in the bedroom, her scars obvious and plain on her form, making her wince.

"You looking delicious..." Leo moved behind her, hands moving over her breasts, kneading and rubbing them through the swimsuit top.

The white wolf folded her ears and let out a soft pant at his touch. "T-thanks... I will just wear it for you, in private."

"Now now... we should go enjoy the beach, not stay stuffed up here all trip~" The idol hummed the words and Tracey grunted as he adjusted the top on her chest.

"W-what are you doing?" The wolf squirmed on her sandaled feet while he adjusted her swimsuit.

"There." He spoke out with a grin.

The wolf frowned and looked it over, he had brought the cloth down to rest more securely under her breasts, offering some support. However now the areolas of her nipples were dangerously close to peaking out. "W-well, it feels more secure, but still..."

"You look great, hun!" He grinned at her and moved to the bed, taking some things from a bag. "Now hold still..."

The white wolf hesitated but stayed in place. Leo produced a white silky looking wrap that he tied around her waist. The material flowed down over her left leg and thigh. It was see through enough to show off her leg and the skimpiness of the swimsuit. The material was dense enough though, that it strategically shielded the large scar on her thigh, hiding it to all but the most intent onlookers.

He finished by draping a silky white shawl over her shoulders, the fabric handily concealing the scar there. "Okay, how's that look?"

Tracey grinned and looked herself over in the mirror with the new accessories. "I still feel awkward showing so much skin, but... thank you, that helps."

The ram moved up behind her and rested a hand heavily on her bare hip. "Make no mistake... I'm not hiding you for any reason but to make you comfortable. I think your stunning, scars and all."

"I know, darling... thank you." She turned and grinned at him, giving him a quick kiss.

"One more addition to your wardrobe." The ram spoke out after pulling from her lips.

"Oh?" The wolf tilted her head curiously. The ram grinned and produced a bottle of white nail polish. Tracey pursed her lips. "Hmm... I can't even remember the last time I painted my nails..."

"Who said you're going to do it?" Leo spoke out with a grin, gripping her wrist and pulling her with him to the side of the bed.

"O-oh..." Tracey blushed and smiled, feeling him pull her hand forward and rest it on his leg. The ram got to work right away, deftly putting coats of polish on her nails. "You're really good at this..."

The ram nodded. "Bossy older sisters, remember?" He grinned at her.

"Ha... maybe that's where you got the complex of wanting a bossy girlfriend from, eh?" Tracey spoke the words playfully, her tail thumping on the bed gently.

"Who knows. I never had a sister complex though... I've actually lost touch with my family since hitting the big time. I never had good relationships with them, especially after what happened with my brother." The ram spoke the words while focusing on each nail.

"Sorry for bringing up such a depressing thing, darling..." Tracey drooped her ears with a frown.

Leo looked up at her and shook his head. "Not at all, it's fine."

It only took a few minutes to finish and Tracey grinned while admiring the white. "They look professional... you're going all in on this white thing, eh?"

"I wanted the outfit to match your fur and hair." He spoke the words pointedly as he gripped her knees and pulled her feet into his lap.

Tracey huffed out and leaned back, wiggling her toes. "Those too? I don't think my toe nails have ever been painted." She hummed the words excitedly, careful not to brush her fingers against anything.

"Well, another first I get to share with you then~" He hummed the words while deftly getting to work on her nails.

It took a few more minutes for her toes, but soon enough the wolf was sporting a full set of white nails. She looked herself over again in the mirror, grinning and wagging her tail happily. "I... thanks, Leo. I feel really good right now."

"I'm glad you're happy, Tracey." The ram grinned and moved over to the side of the bed, tugging his jeans off to reveal a snug close fitting pair of white swimming briefs.

Tracey pursed her lips at the view and wagged her tail. "Those look good on you... but I'm a little pissed off..."

"Why is that?" He gave her a cocky grin and slipped on his own sandals. Dressed in the swimming briefs and the open hawaiian style shirt with the pawprints on it.

"Because it took me so long to get ready, but it took you like... thirty seconds." she grumbled the words and trotted over to him with her tail wagging.

"Yeah? Well I promise not to take my time, getting you out of that outfit later~" He speaks the words lovingly, brushing his fingertips over her breast gently.

"Good... because I think my spring heat started this morning~" Tracey flicked her tail with a hungry grin on her face.

"I was hoping that was the scent I was picking up on you... should we skip the beach and I just tear that swimsuit off you now?" He cooed the words into her ear, fingertips drifting to slide under her top.

The wolf showed her teeth and pulled from his grip. "Tempting... but you dressed me up like this, you're going to get some beach time with me."

"Of course, my love~" The ram spoke the words playfully.

"Also... get me one of those ridiculous tropical drinks. I've always wanted one of those!" She huffed the words with excitement, her tail wagging while she grinned.

"Anything you want, Tracey." He hummed happily and gripped her hand. "I'm eager to see you with a tan, ya know?"

"Pretty sure I just burn, love." The wolf gave him a grin.

"No worries, I've got sunblock, we won't let you get too much sun." He hummed the words cheerfully, patting the small pocket in his shirt.

"Planning to wait and put that on me in public, eh? Perverted sheep..." The wolf growled the words lovingly, moving to grab his arm and pull closer to him. Her tail wagged eagerly as they left the room together.

"It's so blue and pretty." The wolf barked the words excitedly while looking over the tropical drink in the curvy glass.

'Well it is called a blue hawaii for a reason." Leo spoke the words with a grin, holding a more modest gin and tonic.

Tracey took a sip from the straw and wagged her tail. "It's sweet but orangey"

"Orangey? Is that even a word?" The ram grinned and snatched the wedge of pineapple off the side of her drink.

"It is now." She ignored the theft of the fruit and kept happily sipping on it. "I wonder how they get it so blue."

"They use stuff called Blue Curacao. It's a citrus liqueur. They also use pineapple juice and white rum" The ram spoke to her in answer.

"Curacao, isn't that an island?" Tracey asks while casually sipping her drink.

"That's right, it's named after the island it was first produced from. Though these days it can be produced anywhere, so it's just a formality."

"Didn't know you were such a hooch aficionado, darling." The wolf grins and offers him some of her drink. "Let's swap."

"I always thought the concept of mixing drinks was interesting. Have you ever had gin and tonic before?" Leo asks curiously as he takes the blue drink and sips it. The sweetness jarring compared to what he was having.

"Yes. I just thought it would be fun to share." Tracey took a sip of his own drink, her ears flicked up as she shuddered and shook her head. "Ugh... the dryness really hits you hard after such a sweet drink."

"Want to swap back?" The ram grinned at her playfully. The wolf nodded and took her drink back.

"Yeah, I can drink normal stuff when we're off vacation. I want the sugary death drinks for now." The wolf returned to her blue drink, happily wagging her tail.

"Of course, anything you want." Leo spoke out, smiling and enjoying watching her relax. He was happy to see her having fun around him.

"Think I will have a Pina Colada later then." Tracey nodded and finished sipping down the last of the drink. She used her straw to stab the cherry left behind and dig it out of the hurricane glass.

"I know this is sudden, but here's a little cocktail trivia for you. Seeing as you've finished your Blue Hawaii..." Leo hummed out playfully.

Tracey popped the cherry in her mouth and spit the pit back into the glass. "Give me the hooch lecture later. Take me down to the beach."

Leo grinned and downed the last of his gin. "Alright, hun." He stood and the wolf quickly grabbed his arm, pushing herself up against him. They walked arm in arm to the beach.

The resort had its own private beach so not many people were around. The sky was crystal blue and the sun was strong. There were dark patches of clouds in the distance, signifying there may have been a small storm coming in later.

"Ha... it's very hot..." Tracey panted the words, her tongue showing slightly. She eased up on her grip to just hold Leo's hand.

"It's the height of the day. Stands to reason~" He smiled at her and gave her a look over. In the sunlight she looked fabulous in the outfit he had picked out for her. The white swimsuit and silk complimented her tail and ears perfectly. "Want to seek out some shade and I put sunblock on you?"

"In a few, I want to feel the ocean on my feet first." She gave him a childish smile, showing her sharp teeth and wagging her tail. He felt his heart leap at the childish grin on her face.

They made their way to the shoreline and Tracey quickly slipped her sandals off and broke from his grip. The wolf happily trotted down to the water, a small wave coming in and spilling water across her feet. The water quickly came up to almost her knees and she had to hike her wrap up to avoid getting it wet. "Ha ha... it's actually warmer than I thought it would be!"

Leo moved over to her as the water receded, both their sandals in his left hand. "Is this your first time at a beach, Tracey?" He asked with a smile.

She let her wrap fall back into place and folded her hands across her stomach, giving him a calculated look. "What if it is? You gonna tease me?"

"Not at all..." His eyes wandered her form, the position she took forced her chest out, like it always did. He could see the sweat clinging on the curves of her breasts from the heat, making her skin seem to shine. "Ah... but if it is. I'm happy we got to share this first together, you know?"

Tracey wagged her tail and smiled at him, watching his eyes wander over her body. She had already been admiring his form constantly. The open faced shirt kept all the right areas exposed on him. Leo had been sweating too and his muscles had a thin sheen of it upon them. The briefs he wore, shamelessly showed he had been thinking about her, a large bulge within the white material.

"It does make me happy..." Tracey cooed the words and casually moved to him. Her fingertips started at his throat and slowly brushed down his defined chest, coasting over the firm ridges of his abs, feeling the sweat at her fingers. "You look great by the way... smell even better..."

"You look like a goddess right now." Leo spoke the words softly, his free hand resting on her exposed hip. The ram moved in, brushing his lips to hers. "I can't believe you're mine..."

Tracey started to speak but he pushed the kiss forward. The white wolf wagged her tail slowly and returned the kiss. Her fingertips pressed to his shoulders and she rose to her toes in the sand. She pushed into his kiss more intently, her tongue slipping into his mouth to flick and tease along his own.

The ram moved his hand to her backside, grabbing a handful of her mostly exposed ass. He gripped her and drew the wolf right up against his body. Tracey gasped gently against his lips, feeling her breasts push to his chest.

She broke the kiss with a grin and lazily wagged her tail. "Being with you is like a dream... I pray I never wake from it..."

Leo moved to her throat, kissing and sliding his tongue against her damp flesh, tasting her. "You want me to put some sunblock on you now?" He whispered the words, his hand grabbing the length of her skirt and pulling it up. A few moments later the water rolled in up to her knees.

"The idea of your hands on my body, sounds divine right about now..." The wolf panted the words, tilting her head to the side while he kissed upon her throat. She felt him release her skirt once the water retreated, the silk drifting back down her leg.

"Well, let's find some shade and privacy to put that on you then." He spoke the words into her ear before gripping her wrist and tugging her along from the waters edge.

"H-how is this?" Tracey lolled her tongue, her fingers spread against the cool wall of rock inside the small cove. They had found the secluded location a few minutes down the beach from their resort. She arched her back and pushed her ass out towards Leo.

"Perfect... simply amazing... I love your ass so much." The ram grabbed at the white swimsuit bottom and the wrap, peeling them both down her legs. The white fabric fell to the sand fully exposing her plainly wet folds to him. Her scent all but confirmed she had went into her spring heat.

"Hurry up, love... I'm going crazy!" Tracey moaned the words, panting and shaking her ass impatiently, her tail lifted up.

"Yes yes... give me a second, you impatient dog~" He cooed the words as he squirted sunblock into his hands and took a knee. He started rubbing up and down her exposed legs from behind, working it into her skin. He was face level with her dripping folds and shoved his mouth against her while working her legs.

Tracey barked out and dug her nails into the rocks, her tongue lolling out heavily when she felt his mouth on her. "Fuck, Leo!" She growled and folded her ears, feeling him rubbing up and down her legs and thighs, his tongue now lapping against her folds, tasting her.

"Let me taste you, Tracey..." He sighed the words, his hands moving up to grab both cheeks of her ass, kneading the sunblock into her flesh. His tongue flicked and teased her sensitive clit again and again while he worked her ass.

"Hu..ff!" The wolf grit her teeth and let out a throaty yowl, giving in to his tongue. She then whimpered and shuddered as he lapped up her honey eagerly. "Ha... ha... you're so good to me..."

"We're not even close to done..." The ram stood and pulled his white briefs down, kicking them off into the pile of her own discarded swimwear. Tracey grinned and pushed her ass forward, her tail lifted out of the way.

The ram gripped the base of her tail, eliciting a moan from the wolf, before he shoved his dripping head right to her entrance. Tracey shivered and cried out blissfully as he pushed into her from behind. Leo gripped her hips to hold her steady, pushing every inch into her until she had all he could give her.

"So deep... I can't get enough of you!" She growled the words, her hips already grinding impatiently, forcing him to stir and push against her clenching walls. Leo panted out and squirted more sunblock into his palms, before moving up Tracey's back, his fingertips brushing over her soft skin while he applied it.

The wolf panted and moved her hair out of the way for him, then let out a yip as she felt his own hips start to move. She braced on the wall, clenching her teeth, ears folded while he pumped himself in and out of her. Tracey felt him mate her while rubbing the sunblock into her simultaneously.

"Ha!" Tracey barked out at a particularly deep thrust that sent her over the edge. She shivered and whimpered while the ram kept rubbing the sunblock in.

"I need to do your front too..." Leo spoke the words behind her lovingly. Tracey bit her lower lip and nodded eagerly.

Tracey found herself in his lap while he sat. His hands were rubbing along her body, over her stomach and moving up to grab and squeeze her breasts through the swimsuit. Her hands were on him as well, spreading sunblock on his strong shoulders and over his sculpted chest muscles. All the while her hips ground eagerly against him, making his throbbing length dig into her core and stir in her clenching walls.

"You feel so fucking good...I can smell the heat on you." Leo panted the words, his fingertips sliding up under the white swimsuit. The motion didn't give the tight fabric much hope and it rolled up, her heavy breasts spilling forward for him.

"I need you so bad, darling... ngh..." Tracey sighed happily and felt herself give in again, licking her lips while he rubbed at her breasts eagerly. The wolf dragged her nails down his chest and shivered. "Ha... are you going to fill me up, my ram?"

Leo grinned at her and nodded, recognizing the look her in her eyes. "Of course I am... you're already lost to your heat aren't you?" He moved his hands off her breasts to grab her hips and pull her close to his chest.

Tracey wrapped her arms around his neck, panting hard into his ears while grinding and moving her own hips, feeling him jab into her again and again. "I have... I just wanna breed with you, Leeeeo~"

He showed his teeth in a wide grin. It really wasn't his thing, but she seemed to like it during her heat. "Ha... then give me some strong healthy puppies, my wolf!" He snarled the words into her ear and gave a final jerk of his hips.

Tracey's eyes grew wide at the word, her tongue lolling heavily at the final push. The wolf clung tight to her ram and shuddered when she felt his heat pour into her. "Ha... I will, I will! Whatever makes you happy, darling!" She moaned the words, grinding her hips eagerly, her walls clenching and milking at his length while he flooded her with his love.

Leo shivered and lets out a ragged moan once she had milked every drop into her. The ram grunted and leaned against her, panting heavily. Tracey sighed happily and embraced him, her fingertips tangled into his hair. "That was... ha... I needed that..." He panted the words in fatigue.

Tracey bit her lower lip, coming down from the euphoria. "Ha... s-sorry you have to say such awkward things when I'm in heat... if it bothers you-"

The ram put his fingertips to her mouth to hush her, then gives her a smile. "I don't have to say anything, I choose to. I know you like it when you're lost in heat." He gives her a knowing grin. The wolf bites her lower lip and nods, looking away awkwardly. He could feel her tail slowly brushing his knees while she clung to him.

Leo leans in and whispers gently into her ear. "I would give you puppies if you really wanted them... a family and the kind of life that came with it~"

Tracey glares at him and her cheeks flush. "Don't make me hurt you, Leo..."

The ram grins and kisses her lips softly. "I'm serious..."

Tracey yips at the words and shakes her head. "S-stop talking!"

"Just saying, that's how much I care, Tracey... I love you that much." He huffs the words and sticks his nose up.

The wolf grins and moves a hand to guide his face back down. She pecks his lips and nods before pushing her forehead to his own. "I know...I feel the same... I don't think either of us want that kind of life... but no matter what kind of life it is, I want to live it with you, Leo."

He grins and moves a hand to hold hers. "You've got me, Tracey... No matter what comes, I'm yours."

She returns his grin and squeezes his hand. "And you're stuck with me, Leo... thick or thin, come what may, I will be here."

The two of them embrace into a deep kiss, holding one another close in the small cove by the sea.

Once they returned from vacation, it was back in the studio to finish his new album. Leo had chosen a studio close to Tracey's home, so she could stay in contact with her mother and train at her dojo with Dan. Her small studio apartment was a little cramped with two people, but was plenty cozy after half a year on a bus together.

Trixie and Max worked hand in hand with Leo on the production. Even Tracey got involved with the writing of several of the songs. The wolf wasn't happy with it, but the llama convinced her to take some singing lessons with a teacher the studio had on retainer. Some former opera star from Europe.

Everything came together and Leo made good on his word, a song being added in memory of Helen. It was a duet he and Tracey sang on loving one another, regardless of your species. The song even opened with Tracey saying 'This one's for you, Helen.'

The album featured one other duet of the two of them and happened to be the title track of the album. Electric Blues new album officially released one week before the tour began. Stardust Horizon had been eagerly awaited and received very favorable reception both from fans and critics alike. Some of the most staunch critics called out the folly of using an amateur to sing a duet with, but his fandom seemed to just grow more invigorated, knowing what the two of them were.

Hilde had butterflies in her stomach as she stepped outside of the airport into the hot summer air. The older wolf was standing there alone waiting on her, arms crossed over her stomach, a cocky grin on her face. She seemed a little more tan than the last time Hilde saw her.

The younger wolf quickly trotted over. Tracey gave Hilde a grin. "Hey kid, you're looking go- Urf!" The younger wolf embraced her in a tight hug, tail furiously cutting through the air. Tracey barked out a laugh and gently rubbed at her head and ears. "H-hey... wow, okay! You're stronger, I get it. Don't break my fucking ribs, Hilde!" She spoke the words in a laugh, feeling her break from the hug.

"S-sorry! I'm just... I've changed so much thanks to you. I've... I owe you so much..." The younger wolf cast her brown eyes away with a blush on her cheeks.

Tracey showed her teeth and shook her head. "Thank me after we take care of business. Put your things in the back and shotgun." She spoke the words, moving around to the drivers side of her old muscle car.

Hilde quickly put her stuff away and slid into the car. She looked around the interior in awe. "Wow... this is so cool! It's just what I could see you driving!"

Tracey grinned and pulled her sunglasses off the visor, sliding them on. "Well, let's hit it."

It took half an hour to get to their location. Hilde filled Tracey in on her training and efforts, the wolf nodding but not offering any praise. She put the car in park in front of an unassuming building, a sign out front read 'Jade tiger dojo'. Tracey gave the younger wolf a nod and climbed from the car, Hilde quickly following after her.

She stepped into the dojo with Hilde in tow behind her. The pitbull gave the older wolf a warm fatherly smile. "Tracey-san, it's good to see you."

Her ear flicked in irritation at the suffix like it always did, however she gave Dan a bow. "Good to see you as well, Sensei." She rose and offered him a coy smile. "But Dan... I've been in here like three times a week all season practically. No need to greet me like an old friend."

"You are an old friend, Tracey-san. I've been your teacher since you were a young puppy. Of course I will always be happy to see you." The dog waved a hand, his eyes looking slightly wet with nostalgia. "Ah, I apologize. Please, introduce me to the young lady with you."

Tracey stepped aside to let Hilde face Dan full on. "This is my... possible apprentice, Hilde."

The younger wolf made a practiced and proper bow to the older dog. "It's nice to meet you, Sensei."

Dan rose from his bow and gave Hilde a smile. "Ah, I can tell by your mannerisms and posture, you have been working hard." The younger wolf perked her ears and wagged her tail happily at the praise.

"Let's go, kid." Tracey nodded her head and moved over to the main practice area, taking her boots and socks off.

"Oh, I didn't bring my gi though!" Hilde spoke out with a frown.

"You're not gonna be in a bathrobe at the concert are you?" Tracey growled the words, seeing the glare from Dan. She gave him an apologetic smile. "Apologies, Sensei."

Hilde frowned before quickly pulling her own sneakers and socks off. A few moments later she was face to face with the woman she admired so much, the wolf that had literally changed the course of her life.

"Judo, Karate, and Boxing. Wasn't that what you told me?" The older wolf spoke, rolling her shoulders and limbering up.

"Yes ma- Y-yes Tracey!" Hilde started to stretch and loosen her own form as well. Dan crossed his arms on the sidelines, a grin on his face while he watched the two dogs squaring off.

"I'm going to come at you with a straight jab. You counter and try to bring me down. No face strikes, you hit me in the face, I break your leg. Understood?" The wolf growled the words and thrashed her tail.

"Y-yes!" Hilde barked and shifted her stance, taking a pose that looked similar to a Judo stance. It was appropriate form given what the attack would be.

Tracey lunged forward and threw a right jab. She saw the younger wolf react with practiced form and pulled her jab at the last second. She swung her left fist wide instead, coming in for a mid body blow.

Hilde yipped in panic at the change but her instincts took over from half a year of training. Her form shifted, letting the blow just glance off her hip then grabbed Tracey by the shoulders. "What the hell!?" The younger wolf barked into the older wolf's face as they locked.

"Never predict what attack is coming in a fight, until it lands!" Tracey snarled the words, a hungry grin on her face. The older wolf shifted and swept her leg. Hilde felt herself going down and reinforced her grip on the older dogs shirt, pulling and rolling onto her backside.

Hilde showed her teeth and planted a knee into Tracey's midsection, rolling back and flinging the older wolf off her and back. Tracey huffed out at the maneuver and tumbled into a roll, righting herself and facing the younger dog instantly. Hilde had also come out and back into stance, a slight pant on her breath.

"Good job, but you shouldn't be winded from that. You nervous Hilde?" The older wolf barked the words and clenched her fist, digging a heel into the mat.

"Of course I'm fucking nervous!" The younger wolf snapped back, showing her teeth.

Tracey lunged forward with surprising speed, faster than even her instructors back home. She barely had time to react before they were locked once more. The older wolf banged her forehead into the youngers and Hilde yipped from the blow, blinking stars from her eyes. "Why! Why so nervous, pup? You afraid you're not good enough?"

Hilde showed her teeth and spat the words out in Tracey's face. "Because I respect you, I idolize you!" She felt the sweep coming again and side stepped with one leg, hooking her own ankle and pushing hard on the older dogs shoulders.

Tracey's eyes widened at the advance counter and she heard Dan whistle in appreciation, moments before her back slammed into the mat. She let out a huff from the impact and blinked up at the younger wolf pinning her down, her teeth showing in a growl.

"Ha! That was good! That's one point for you, now let me up!" Hilde responded to the older wolf's words and quickly rose to her feet.

White tail cutting through the air, Tracey rolled back, braced on one hand and pushed herself up to her feet, hopping on them a few times. "Good... good... I knew you wouldn't let me down. I'm proud of you Hilde."

"R-really?" The younger wolf wagged her tail furiously, grinning like a little kid.

"Focus..." Tracey wagged her finger, still shifting from one foot to another in a quick hop. "Now it's for real, I'm not going to hold back... You ready?"

"Hell yeah I'm ready, do your worst!" Hilde barked the words and shifted her stance confidently.

Tracey smiled and shook her head. "I won't do my worst, but I will bring you to heel pup!" The older dog sprang off her toes and lunged at the smaller one with shocking speed.

Hilde felt her eyes go wide and dipped, moving to counter with a mid body blow. It didn't matter, the older wolf had already anticipated, shifted to reposition and had a hand on her chest. The younger dog yipped as she slammed into the mat hard, knocking the wind out of her. Tracey gave her a cocky huff, hand still resting on her chest. She barked out a simple order to the younger dog. "Get up."

Hilde tried to rise but the older dog kept her held down. She glared up at Tracey and showed her teeth. "Well get off me first!"

Tracey showed her own teeth in a growl. "I said... Get up!"

"I'm trying!" Hilde barked out and grabbed her arm. Her body shifted and she rolled Tracey with a grab, pulling her to the side to roll free. The older dog simply grabbed her shoulders, shifted the momentum and the younger wolf slammed into the mat back first once more.

"I'm sorry... did I stutter, Hilde? Let me say it slower... get...up!" Tracey showed a cocky grin, still holding her down.

"Don't be such a bitch!" Hilde snapped back, pushing her weight forward, but Tracey simply overpowered and shoved he into the mat with another heavy thump.

"I told you I was a bitch, I told you I was a mother fucker, remember?!" The older wolf rolled away, hopped to her feet and beckoned her with a finger. "Get... the fuck... up..."

Hilde snarled furiously and clambered to her feet, hunkering and thrashing her tail. "I'm not some little girl for you to play games with, Tracey!"

"That's right! You're a grown fucking woman and the man whom I love more than life it's self... his life! You want me to trust you with it?" Tracey tossed her braid of hair off her shoulder and shifted her stance, showing her teeth. "I'm coming at you again. You let me pin you, I send you back home."

She saw the fear in the young wolf's eyes, the apprehension and then the resolve. Hilde set her jaw and shifted into what half resembled a boxing stance and a judo stance. She was trotting and shifting on her toes, but her core was lowered and her arms were spread. It honestly looked a little silly, but Tracey could respect the focus it would take.

"Cute dance, kid!" Tracey barked the words and sprang off her feet towards Hilde. The younger wolf anticipated the grab, shifting with a spring of a step and brought her knee up in a kick. "Too slow!" Tracey barked out, shifting and grabbing her leg in mid flight.

"Think so!?" Hilde spat out and sprang off her other foot, swinging it wide and bringing it up in a high kick. Tracey yipped at the improvised round house and quickly side stepped and broke away.

"What the fuck did I say about head blows?" She showed her teeth and set her stance again.

"You want to send me back, send me back with a broken leg! I won't let you pin me!" Hilde snarled the words and sprang on her toes, lunging forward in her own attack now.

Tracey grinned at the words and saw the jab coming. Of course she would change it up mid swing. The older wolf then yipped out and had to quickly side step as the punch followed through. She felt the strike just graze her chin and pivoted back.

"Focus, Tracey-san!" Dan barked out in commandment. "Remember what I told you about anger!"

The white wolf gave her teacher a nod and shifted into an aikido stance. "The fire flares brightest before it goes out, sweetie." Tracey growled the words at Hilde.

Hilde showed her teeth and made a side step before lunging in with a quick kick. Tracey prepared to counter and the younger wolf changed it up, switching to a quick jab aimed at her midsection. The older dog met the younger dogs eyes when she grabbed her wrist mid punch. Hilde's eyes widened and knew it was all over at that point.

A heartbeat later the younger dog slammed into the mat with a huff. Tracey loomed over her, palm on her chest once more, similarly to how she had been previously. Hilde blinked up at her, her vision blurring with tears. "D-damn it..." The younger wolf spat the words out, her voice cracking as if she were ready to sob.

Tracey stood and gave a winded sigh. "Six months vs nearly twenty years, kid. Don't beat yourself up."

Hilde sat up and wiped her eyes. "Y-yeah, you fucking say that, but now what do I do?"

Tracey folded her arms and shrugged. "You get up, you follow me around the country for almost a year, and you keep my boyfriend's fine ass safe."

Hilde blinked the tears away and sniffled before wiping her eyes. "But you said-"

"I said that to put you on full alert. I had already made my decision the moment I saw your posture during your bow to Dan." Tracey showed her teeth in a grin and offered her hand to Hilde.

The younger wolf let out a laugh and took her hand, standing up from the mat. "Damn you're a bitch..."

"I've been told that from time to time, yes." Tracey hummed the words and pulled from her grip. "Seriously though. Come here." She opened her arms wide.

The younger dog slumped into her embrace and Tracey pushed her forehead to Hilde's. She grinned and put a hand on her head, rubbing her hair and ears. "You did good, I know you kicked your own ass the last half year. I am proud of you and I trust you with my back going forward."

"Thank you... it means... to hear you say that..." She pants the words, the fatigue setting in.

"Tracey-san, Hilde-san... That was a marvelous match. I wish some of my students could have seen it. Ah... minus all the swearing of course."

"Sorry, Sensei." Tracey spoke the words with a smile and pulled away from Hilde.

Hilde gave a polite bow to Dan. "I apologize for my language, Sensei. Thank you for the kind words."

The pitbull rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I will be truthful, I was impressed with your stance there, fusing boxing and judo? That was bold... ineffective, but bold."

Hilde pursed her lips and looked away. "W-well... I was panicking a little..."

"I would very much like to spar with you before you leave." The elder dog spoke out.

"Ah... that sounds fun! Would I have time, Tracey?" Hilde looked at her curiously.

"Sure, Hilde. We've still got a week, we will get some time here at the dojo before we leave." She spoke the words while moving over to the side of the mat to tug her boots back on.

Hilde looked around and quickly found the cleaning broom for the mat and began to clean after their session. Dan gave an approving snort through his nose and looked to the older wolf. "You could learn a thing or two from this pup, Tracey-san."

"Yeah yeah, I pay you for the training, not to be your maid!" The older wolf showed her teeth in a grin at the pitbull.

"Good hustle in there, ki- Hilde." The older wolf smiled at her from the driver's seat, turning the car over, the engine roaring to life.

"Thanks! Uhm..." Hilde hesitated before looking at Tracey directly. "Would you have really broken my leg?"

"Yes." She spoke out pointedly, shifting the car into drive and pulling away from the curb.

"I...see..." Hilde swallowed a lump in her throat and looked out the side window.

"I'm fucking with you... you know that, yeah?" Tracey spoke the words gently.

"O-oh! I'm glad..." Hilde smiled at her and lifted her ears. "So where to next?"

"Now we hit the gun range." Tracey nodded to herself while driving.

"Oh... can I even legally carry one of those?" Hilde asked curiously.

The older dog clicked her tongue. "Well not in every state, but you can still learn to use one. You're already twenty, yeah?"

"Yeah! My birthday was right after the new year." Hilde smiled and grinned at the older dog.

"What are you grinning about?" Tracey asked her curiously.

"Just... this is so amazing... it's like a dream... to be here, with you..." The younger dog wagged her tail against the car seat furiously.

"Hey hey... don't go falling in love, Hilde. Leo is all I need~" She barked the words with a grin, showing her teeth to the younger dog.

"Ooph! Not like that! I don't even... uh... I don't look at girls that way, truth be told" Hilde blushed and looked away awkwardly.

"Oh really? Well shit... looks like that playing hard to get tactic blew up in my face, don't I feel silly!" Tracey hummed the words cheerfully.

"W-what?!" Hilde barked out in shock, her cheeks flushing.

"Well sure... you, me, and Leo... wasn't that what you were wanting?" Tracey growled the words, cutting her eyes to the younger dog.

"W-w-what? N-no! I mean... I don't...-"

"I'm fucking with you, relax! You're not gonna survive a day on tour if you can't take a joke, Hilde." She gave the younger wolf a reassuring smile.

"Y-you serious this time?" She scowled at the older woman.

"I am. Leo is all I need." Tracey spoke the words with a smile on her face.

"You guys are wonderful together. I hope I find someone like you someday." Hilde grinned and lifted her ears. "Tell me about when you guys first met!"

Tracey grinned wide. "Well it all started with me shoving his stupid ass up against a dressing room door..."

"Let's make some magic baby!" Max called out and thrusted his fist outward, a wide grin on his face, his bald head dotted with little blue and red stars.

"You said it Max! Time to make hopes come true!" Leo bumped his fist to the rat's and they both shared a grin.

"Magic time, Baby!" Max shifted to Tracey and threw his fist out.

"That's right, time to make dreams come true!" Tracey showed her teeth and bumped a fist with the manager.

"You're all fucking losers but I love you. Have a good show." Trixie spoke the words with a grin on her face, her hair still bubblegum pink. She was wearing a suit similar to Max's but it was bright pink and she had a mic piece in her ear.

"Love you too, loser!" Tracey showed her teeth and her and the llama gave their own fist bump as they passed.

Hilde straightened her back when she saw the two leave the dressing room. The young wolf was dressed in black slacks with a long sleeved white shirt. She had a sleeveless black leather vest over the white top, that was opened at the front. The back of the vest had an embroidery of a wolf skull with crossed pistols under it, with text that simply read, 'The Law'.

Hilde clenched at her fingerless gloves, checking the fit of them before grinning at Tracey and Leo. "Have a good show you two, I've got your back!" She spoke the words with pride.

"I know you do." Tracey gave the younger wolf a quick hug, then Leo did the same. Leo and Tracey then moved to the side of the stage. The ram holding her hand in his.

Leo looked down at Tracey with a loving smile. "You ready for this?" He was dressed in tight shiny pants like usual, but the pair was simply white. His jacket hung open fully showing off his chest and abs as usual. The color of the jacket a shock of pale blue like the bolt across his right eye. His shorter hair was blue and white once more, but mostly white now with a streak of blue instead.

"I look ridiculous..." Tracey spoke the words playfully, looking back into his emerald eyes with her azure ones. She had her own blood red bolt across her left eye, along with red and white stars on her cheek. Her hair was braided in twin tails going down her back, one red and the other white. The bodyguard turned idol wore a flowing white skirt that billowed out at her knees, red lightning bolts adorning it. Her top blood red and cut just low enough to show the swell of her breasts, but not look overly sexual. She wore a similar open faced jacket of white. Her red boots came halfway to her knees, leading into white stockings that moved up to her thighs and disappeared under her skirt.

"You look like a goddess and I love you..." Leo spoke the words and stole a quick kiss, his blue lipstick brushing her red, leaving faint purple smudges on both their lips.

"I love you too!" She showed her teeth in a grin and lifted her ears. "Let's not keep the fans waiting any longer!" She gripped his hand and they both stepped out into the lights and lasers, the sold out concert hall roaring to life upon their entry.
