Not lying here. This story is kinda messed up. Then again, we're talking about reasonably intelligent parasites finding a way down to earth and doing their best to infest every single lifeform that they can find with their hive-like selves. That would hardly be a happy-go-lucky thing, would it?

The Hive Arrives

For Kacacarrotcake

By Draconicon

Considering the needs of the different parasites in the hive, hyper-sleep was not an option for Ailsa or the other people on the ship as they made their way back to Earth. Putting themselves into that state would be far more likely to hurt the different creatures inside of them, or, if the pods were set to prioritize creature safety and lifesigns, then the host could end up being killed. Nobody, particularly not the Stingray Queen, was willing to risk that.

But it wasn't that bad an arrangement. They were heading right for a military port, after all, and that meant that they needed to be ready for a fight. Very few members of the hive were able to go toe to toe with a legitimate, well-armed soldier, so the hive used the trip to start developing new, combat-oriented classes of parasites and hosts.

Ailsa looked over the cargo bay, where practice was going on. The latest models of the brute-class hosts were definitely effective at battering things out of the way, but...

We're going to have to do something about the libido portion of the infection...

Though the parasites that she'd developed for the brute-class were more than good at stimulating certain hormones and chemicals in the body, forcing a massive, overpowered muscle growth that made them look like tumorous beasts, it also had an effect on their genitals. The females were constantly dripping, sometimes slipping on their own fluids, and there were tentacles pushing out of their pussies that grabbed for prey. Ostensibly, it was supposed to be for the purpose of pulling down anyone that tried to attack the brutes from behind, but more often than not, it was used to pull their targets in for sex.

The males were worse. While the females at least could keep fighting while they were getting fucked from behind, the males would drop everything after about ten minutes of fighting. Their testosterone and libido was pushed so high that they could only fight for so long in that hyper-empowered state before needing to blow off some steam. It was a serious problem, and she didn't know if she had a good way around it.

Ailsa shook her head again at the sight of the males punching their dicks through steel canisters, imagining that whatever they got their hands on in the field was as good as dead during those fucks.

"We're going to have some serious casualties with these, your Majesty," the Komodo commander muttered at her side.

She looked back at him - his host-name was Charles, she remembered - and nodded.

"I know, but what else are we supposed to do? Either we kill a few hosts to get through, or we lose most of what we gained."

"I suppose, but do we want to be killing everyone to get what we want?"

The stingray rolled her eyes. The more that Charles talked, the more she wondered if it was time for him to lose his independence. He was useful, and it was better to keep a loyal host around, just as she was loyal to the hive and could serve as queen. It was better, faster, more useful than just forcing the host to do what it was commanded to do.

But that said, he was consistently asking questions, and while the curiosity came from a useful place, it was still problematic.

I'm going to need to consider this very carefully after the landing...

She'd wanted to do it before, but she knew that Charles would be needed. He was the only other person in the hive that had more than basic experience leading people into combat, and she was going to need that. There was no way that she could just destroy his personality before that was done.

But after...

Well, if he pulled his weight and stayed useful, she'd let him stay free. But only then.

She looked down at the brutes again, then at the other classes of fighters that she'd come up with.

There were the tentacle arms, people that looked normal until they were threatened. The name was a bit of a misnomer, because their arms and legs were equally likely to sprout into massive, lengthy tentacles that could reach people over thirty feet away. The parasitic limbs were poisonous, able to inflict a numbing feeling almost instantly to disable part of the body, and the end of the tentacles were equipped with a hole, a dispenser of small brain slugs.

There were the spitters, too, long-range hosts that were modified so that their throats and nasal cavities were capable of high-pressure gas exhalation. They could fire eggs and larva across a massive distance, able to hit the enemies of the hive with them like bullets. Not enough to kill or break the skin most of the time - unless the enemy was in closer range, say, 20 feet - but enough to shatter the egg, bruise, and leave the victim at risk for infestation.

There were others, but those were the three that showed the most promising signs of being actually useful in combat. She didn't know if the others would be perfected by the time that they touched down on Earth, but at least she'd have those three.

Charles cleared his throat, and she turned back to the other host.

"Yes?"

"What are your plans, exactly?"

"For the attack, or -"

"Yes, for the attack."

"Simple enough," she said as they walked along the catwalk. "We'll come in for a landing, hopefully on one of the more public platforms rather than one of the quarantine ones. If all goes smoothly, we'll disembark, pass the ship on to the next captain - not mentioning the eggs and parasites hidden throughout the ship - and go to sign out for leave. As soon as we're in the main building, going through processing, the exploders will go off, blowing a few holes in the wall and leaving everyone around infected, and...well, we'll take it from there."

"And if they put us in one of the quarantine pads?"

"Then things get a lot more complicated."

And that was putting it mildly. Even with the new combat classes, she had only vague ideas of how well they would work on the battlefield. That was why she needed Charles around. She was the one that held the reins, while he was the one that had to tell her how it worked. He was the one that told her how to fight. And that...

That was annoying, but the Stingray Queen would be able to work with it.

They left the cargo hold behind, and she looked back at him. He was looking well, his body quite fit and fine to the eye. She could just have a bit of fun...

But no. She sighed, shaking her head and putting the thought out of her mind. Much as she'd like to put him in his place again - something that she had done shortly after taking control of the ship, fucking with body his body and his mind - she knew that it was better to hold onto the various parasites in her for now. She needed all of them, and they weren't that far from Earth anymore.

She looked down at her hands, looking at the writhing, spinning, twisting lines that moved beneath her flesh. She was host to a hundred, to a thousand different little creatures, each one wanting to come out and be born to the world. Ailsa could probably birth enough of them to sustain a large ecology on a barren world, if she really needed to, but the stingray was holding back from that at the moment.

"I will be in my quarters," she said, leaving the commander behind. She went to the elevator, riding it towards the captain's quarters just under the bridge.

She stepped out into a low-lit room, barely enough light for a human to see silhouettes. Her parasites, on the other hand, didn't require any more than this.

The stingray slipped around an aquarium before sitting down on her bed. It was slimy and wet, marked with a hundred different conquests and sexual adventures since she had become captain of the vessel. The place was a mess of slime and rank juices, evidence of all that she'd done since taking over. She liked it, she had to admit, and it was something that she planned on spreading further, but she knew that it was not the time.

Instead, she laid back, crossing her arms behind her head and looking at the ceiling. Other eggs, smaller ones that hid among the popcorn effect on the ceiling, were already squirming, begging for her permission to hatch. Ailsa smiled, connecting her minds to them.

Not yet, little ones, not yet.

They subsided, going back to sleep, and she sighed and did the same. It was time to get some rest.

Two days later, they reached Earth's atmosphere, starting to come down through the outer layer towards the surface. The radio chatter began, and Ailsa sat quietly in her command seat, allowing her communication's officer to handle it. It was better that she stay out of view, considering that she was a time bomb at the moment.

She could feel the worms and the snakes, the slugs and the little larva crawling under her flesh. They had almost hollowed out the insides of her breasts to give themselves room, and while she'd get that back, right now she felt like they were obviously squirming about, showing off through her skin. If her outfit came down, she'd look like a mating pool for snakes and who knew what else, slithering, writhing, mating beneath her skin.

They had taken over everything, even the space behind her eyes. She could see the shadows of legs and tendrils overlaying everything in her vision, and she was constantly swallowing down the slime that her body was intent on producing in her mouth. She gagged on it sometimes, but it was still enough to keep her from speaking.

Swallow, swallow. She couldn't even cross her legs, her double dicks running down each pant leg and leaving her soaked until her skin was able to soak it back up. All the modifications that had been made to her to make her the ideal host, the ideal member of the hive. It was making it hard to keep her concentration on the events about to unfold.

"You are assigned to outer landing zone 521," the speaker on the other end said. "Follow approach vectors exactly. We're busy today."

An outer landing zone. That wasn't what she'd been hoping for, but she doubted that they were going to get anything better. She just hoped that it was really due to what the officials on the other end were saying, and not just a trap for them.

Glancing out of the corner of her eye, she saw that Commander Charles wasn't looking too keen on it, either. He must have been thinking the same thing.

Gonna have to play this by ear...

The massive ship left the atmosphere, coming down to the lower levels and flying more horizontally rather than vertically. They were leveling out just outside of one of the mega-cities that Earth had started concentrating itself into, and she could see that the landing zone that they had been sent to was one of the ones furthest from the command building.

Damn...

That was going to fuck with things. The exploders were already on a knife's edge trying to keep their bits together. If the hosts didn't last long enough, they'd lose one of their best ways to punch through the defenses. They'd need the brutes after that, and if they didn't make it to the building, either...

The whole place was a kill-zone down there. The walls that kept thieves away from the ships would keep her and the hive penned in, and once they were off the ship, that was it. They weren't going to be able to retreat, considering the ship would be locked down and assigned new codes by the landing authority. They would be essentially sitting ducks for anyone with a long range gun.

But there was no pulling back now. They couldn't stop. They'd just have to hope for the best.

The ship came down slowly, leveling out one last time before firing the thrusters beneath the ship. They floated down slowly, coming in for a final thump of a landing just before they cut the engines off completely. Ailsa took a deep breath, feeling a fluttering in her stomach that had nothing to do with the different parasites int here, then stood up.

"Everyone, you know the plan. Make sure that we don't show anything that we don't have to."

She was so nervous that she couldn't even bring herself to do it mentally. Things just felt too off.

"Everyone to the gangplank."

The air and light of the home planet were just as bright and lovely as she remembered, though it had been years since she'd been back. Ailsa took a few deep breaths, feeling the parasites inside acclimatizing to the different chemicals around them, then looked down at the open area.

There were no troops waiting for them, which meant that there was no direct proof that the ship needed to be searched. But there was also no captain for her to hand over the ship to, which meant that they suspected that something was up.

Ailsa reached one hand up to her ear, covering it as a slug tried to slide out of the side of her head. She wriggled it back inside, pushing her will down on the different parasites to hold together, to stay where they were. They'd have new hosts soon enough.

"Spitters, one rank behind the Brutes. Tentacle arms form the side ranks. Make sure to keep track of everyone," she muttered, passing the orders down the lines as they came down the landing ramp. "Charles, any thoughts?"

"Have everyone but the exploders and the brutes stay close, act like we're unloading the ship. Nobody here, after all; we can excuse that if they start calling us in. Brutes and exploders clear a hole, and we come in after."

"Probably the best plan we're gonna get. Make it so."

Besides, if the military decided to come check them out, the tentacle arms and the spitters were better to have by the ship than out in the open, and this way, if the exploders lost control, then at least they were out there rather than up close to their own people. Already infected or not, the explosions caused would still be very...damaging...to anyone that was caught in the middle of it.

As about forty of her four-hundred-man hive started crossing the open ground, she turned her attention to the ship, making as if she was actually working with the unloading when, in reality, she was stretching her attention across the field and watching what her hive was doing.

The exploders were antsy, she could feel that much. They were on a ticking clock, and there were already explosive chemicals mixing in their guts. It amounted to an extreme amount of indigestion for them at the moment, but it could get a whole lot worse very quickly, particularly if they were subjected to any sort of physical stress.

She could feel that there was more coming from the brutes, too. The parasites inside were already churning in the right areas, forcibly producing a great deal of testosterone in both genders, but it was being held down. They were waiting for the right moment, but she could feel that all the brutes were already rather aroused by the thought of danger and fighting.

This was not going to go well. Not for any of them.

Hold together. Hold together. Hold -

They were right at the entrance to the transfer building when one of the exploders lost their nerve. It was like a great, wet, pop, at least from a distance, but as she looked through the eyes of one of the brutes, she saw what it was really like.

The vixen's body was ripped apart by a gigantic 'bubble' of blood exploding out from her center, taking her torso and hips apart from one another. The sound was no different, but the concussive force of the explosion was enough to rip through stone, mortar, and cement. A half-circle about twenty feet across was ripped right out of the building, exposing the inside of the structure, showing the shocked men and women in uniform and all of those that were just coming in from off-planet.

The explosion was enough to set off the other exploders, blowing massive craters out of the ground and the building itself. The brutes rushed in before it could get worse, but the damage was already done. They were exposed, revealed, and -

Rattattattattattattatta.

The security guns were firing, blasting at the few people outside still standing. The rain of parasites came through the holes in the wall, but not nearly enough for Ailsa's initial plan to work. She cursed under her breath, shaking her head.

"Alright, we're exposed. I guess we're going in."

"Let the brutes clear a space first," Charles suggested. "They're already running rampant. Get them to clear the room, make a foothold, so that we're not having to fight from the outside."

"...Fine."

She didn't like giving the commander this much authority, but he was right. If the brutes could clear the auto-turrets, not to mention all the different armed figures in that first room, then they had a better chance. She sent the order, and then waved at the rest of her hive.

"Come on!"

They charged across the open ground, and Ailsa could feel the eyes of what felt like everyone in the universe on her. At least some of the other ships around her had to be manned, had to see what was going on as she and the rest of the hive ran towards the open holes in the big building at the center of the port.

At best, they thought that she and the rest of her people were going to help the military.

At worst, they'd notice that some members of the crew were starting to change, the parasites coming to the fore.

Ailsa could feel her own passengers begging to be let loose, the stingray stumbling from time to time as she felt them trying to take over, trying to push out of any hole that they could find. She had a temporary mane of stinger-like quills coming out of her gills at the side of her neck, and only an intense push and threat of punishment made those ones come back inside.

By the time that they reached the holes, most of the resistance had been subdued. Some of the brutes were down, humping away and getting shot by those security forces still standing, but those soldiers were soon shot down by the spitters behind her.

The hive slid into the room, taking up defensive positions where they could, and she surveyed the damage.

10 exploders, 30 brutes sent in. No exploders left alive. That's expected. Ten brutes left alive. Not so good.

They were her heaviest hitters, after all, and the ones that were supposed to be able to take extreme amounts of damage. More than that, they were limited use, now, both from wounds and the fact that their shift had rendered them too obvious as targets. Even when they were able to start ignoring their libido again, they would be more focused on getting off in just a few minutes of fighting.

Okay, think this through, think this through. We have the central building. That means we can block and control communications. Do that first, and then think about what else we need to do, she thought.

The stingray sent a few people under Charles to secure the upper floors of the building and to start working on fucking with anyone trying to leave. Shields needed to be raised, the military needed to be kept in the dark. It was risking having them send a rescue team, admittedly, but that was better than dealing with the alternative.

I need them to be questioning, not sure. I need them to wonder if something's gone wrong, not think that they need to blow this base to hell.

Which was possible. Now that they were exposed, if it got out that there was something this dangerous here, then the military would be not just within their rights to blow this place to kingdom come, but encouraged to do it. Yana, Charles, everyone that she had in her hive would be slaughtered.

She...well, she might live through it, but not through the vivisection that would come afterwards to determine what had happened, and how to prevent it from happening again. Fire...fire would be very painful.

She looked out the window as the shields came up, breathing a small sigh of relief. That would keep any of the other ships from taking off, keep others from landing, and most of all, keep anyone from shouting anything to the rest of the world.

That gave them time.

That gave them something.

Ailsa looked up as Charles came back down, nodding her approval before trying to think of her next move.

The tower they had taken was mostly a transfer center, something that cleared people that came in from other planets, or those that were leaving this one, before letting them through to the other side. However, that meant that there had to be a security section, and more than that, it meant that there had to be place where confiscated goods were kept.

"Get down to security," she said. "Or up. Wherever it is. Find where they put all the stuff they take off people, find anything useful, then come back. And you, Yana." She pointed to the cobra. "Find a list of all the ships currently docked here. I want to see what we're dealing with. And someone seal off the land-side part of the building."

The situation wasn't quite as bad as she was fearing it to be. There were only two other military vessels currently docked at the port, and both of them were there for repairs. There would be no soldiers waiting on them to come down and seize the tower back from them. Everyone else was either a merchant or transport company, waiting to take people or goods out to the colonies.

However, the issue was that their little project to seize the tower had been anything but quiet. The explosions would have been heard outside the spaceport, and even from where she sat in the middle of the ruined bottom floor, she could see the television crews that were gathering outside the front door, all of them chattering about different possibilities of what was going on.

The shield above kept them safe for the moment, both from satellite imaging and from any sort of orbital strike, but that was only going to work for so long. They needed something to cover their tracks, something to sell to the rest of the military when they came rolling up.

Ailsa groaned, shaking her head as she fought the parasites inside of her, feeling them wanting to come sliding out again.

"Okay, we got to earth, we seized this tower..."

She looked around at all the dead bodies around her.

"And don't have anything to show for it. This is a problem."

And one that she needed to solve soon, if she wanted to get out of this alive.

Could go and seize some of the other crews around here. Nobody can really see past the shield, but if any of them are well-armed...

She could just imagine losing more of her people, and that wasn't something that she was willing to do at the moment. She had already lost enough just getting the central tower. Anything further was unacceptable.

Not to mention that it might not gain her anything. What she needed was something to break out of the tower, or failing that, something that would allow her to get most of her hive out. Maybe...

Maybe...

She tapped her finger against her chin, a small smile growing on her face.

Yes, that would work just fine.

"Open the doors. Let the press crew in."

It was an easy enough snatch. As soon as the doors were open, the senseless, news-hungry press crews swarmed in. Ailsa had the doors closed again right afterwards, and the rather angry members of her hive swarmed in instead, grabbing hold of every camera, every microphone, and every single person that looked like they might be useful.

Ailsa even managed to find herself a new stingray, someone that looked like they'd been set up for a first-time news broadcast for this sort of thing. She imagined that they didn't know what they'd been signing up for, but...well, it was too late for them now.

This is going to be a bit iffy, but this is so much better than using the military. Less eyes on us.

The different members of the press were stripped quickly and carefully, making sure that their clothes weren't roughed up or anything in the process. They were tied down on every level of the tower, spread out so that there was plenty of room for all of them. Their legs were spread, and in the case of the males, their cocks were clamped on so that they were forced to get hard, forced to grow.

And every single one of her surviving hive members were ready to start spreading the parasites they had.

Ailsa flicked between the different camera feeds in the tower, deleting the footage even as it was sent to her. She watched as a fox woman raped a young man, riding his cock while feeding slugs down the urethra. Each time that the vixen slid up his cock, Ailsa could see the bulges of the slugs sliding down the rat's shaft, filling it up and making his balls bulge as he took on more and more 'passengers' down there.

It only got better as she looked at the different people fucking and getting fucked. The parasites were draining themselves from their hosts, forming new mini-hives in the different people that were getting fucked. Sometimes they were sliding in up the ass, sometimes in the urethra - for men and women - and sometimes they went for the mouth, the nose, the ears. Even the tear ducts of the eyes, for some reason.

Ailsa shook her head at the show, fondling her twin dicks with a bit of a sigh. She was going to miss this body, but she knew that the only way for her and hers to get out of here was to no longer look like the ones that started the problem.

She turned, looking at the stingray woman that was tied down behind her. The woman's legs were pulled up and over her head, both her ass and her pussy on display, and there was already a parasitic slug that was wrapped around her clit, biting and chewing and teasing it to keep it nice and hard, making it grow, keeping it inflamed with need.

You aren't quite me yet...but you'll do.

The hive had promised to take the mind of the Stingray Queen with them into the new host, and she was trusting them with that. She didn't know how it would work, but she knew that it was her only chance.

Ailsa stood up, already naked. One quick tense of her muscles forced a slew of parasites out both her pussy and her ass, a puddle of them landing around her toes and clinging to her legs. It was just part of the massive swell of them that she'd prepared in her body in hopes of spreading the hive to many new people.

It wasn't going to be the same, but she'd make sure that they got all they needed with this girl.

The double-dicked stingray climbed on top of the naked woman, rubbing her hands along the small breasts the gagged newscaster had. She chuckled under her breath, shaking her head as she bounced them up and down, seeing no sign of parasites there yet.

She squeezed her own breasts, forcing a slug out of one nipple, then another, feeling them stretch and almost burn from how big they were. They fell like hot, slimy raindrops on the other woman, who screamed and thrashed about in her bonds.

"Don't worry about it. It doesn't hurt. Heh. Not for long."

She grabbed her dicks, pulling them together and lowering them to the woman's asshole. She would have preferred to go for vaginal, but she didn't know how much time she had, and she knew that there was only so long before the military showed up. She needed to get the implantation done fast, and the actual take-over happened faster through the ass than it did through the pussy.

With a grunt, she popped them in, worms and snakes sliding out of her urethras in equal measure. That was almost more pleasurable than the actual feeling of thrusting inside, and she grunted as she pushed herself faster, further, deeper.

It didn't take long for the screaming against the gag to stop, and it took even less time for the other woman to start to go still. Ailsa smiled at the feeling of the sudden clamping going on around her dick, knowing that her hive was spreading through the other woman, adjusting the stingray, filling her up, making her more sensitive and eager.

Looking down, she could see the slugs wrapping around the other woman's nipples, biting them and chewing on them until they were much, much bigger. Swollen and poking up, the nipples made for better chutes for the slugs to slide in, and soon they were wriggling forward, forcing their way in and making the stingray's chest bigger.

As Ailsa slowly emptied herself into the other woman, she felt her mind fading. The many parasites inside of her had been the only thing that kept her body running, and without them, there was very little support left for her.

In. She stumbled, her leg going out from under her, one arm almost doing the same. Her breasts were no longer so full, starting to sag, and her curvy rump was the same. She groaned, shaking her head.

Out. One of her dicks popped out, falling down flat, looking like a deflated balloon.

In.

Out.

In...

Blackness.

The intelligence that was Ailsa 'woke up' later, looking out through eyes that were not her own. She could see that this person wore glasses where she hadn't, that this stingray was just a bit shorter than she was, and she could tell that there was definitely a gap in between her legs that hadn't been there with her old body.

No more double dicks, but that was something that she could put together.

In the back of her mind, she could feel the old intelligence of this new body fighting against her, trying to resist the parasites that were running her brain, installing Ailsa into the new body. It was quite funny, in a way. Someone thought that they could resist the hive.

As Ailsa got comfortable in her new skull, the hive informed her of what had happened in the tower. The various media crews had been properly infested and infected, then were let loose in short order. They 'reported' that they had discovered a plague inside of the transfer building, that the bodies of everyone that had come through had been completely decimated by some outer space disease.

The military had arrived shortly after, asking questions. After a few blood tests and checks for contaminants of bacterial and viral sorts - neither of which would have picked up the parasites - the media were allowed to leave.

Ailsa smiled. The hive was entrenched, now, and they controlled a good bit of information distribution.

This is an excellent opportunity, she thought, almost reaching for her dicks that were no longer there before she stopped herself. A very good opportunity indeed.

The End
