This actually might be something I can work with.
In antarctica, two armies of penguins get into a territorial battle. There are the penguins of the sky (The penguins who shaved off all their white feathers, also, its always night in this antarctica), and the penguins of the land (ones who shaved off all of their black feathers). Sky pengs soak the snow in crude oil to mark their territory, although that always gets covered in new layers of snow. Land pengs fire rockets into the sky so as to deny the night. Eventually, both will run out of their territorial tools.
In the mean time, scalps are surfacing from beneath the ground. These scalps are red and deformed. Even with new layers of snow, the scalps like mushrooms return in an unfathomable drive to reach the surface.
