The Finding (My first story ever)

Summary: The young dragonness, Ari, has found herself in some trouble with a couple of hunters, fighting for her life, she kills a few with more remaining, too exhausted to fly away, she is finding herself trapped. Not too far away, the young adult dragon, Spyro, sleeping soundlessly in his cave, wakes up to here some growls aswell as a couple roars, fearing of trouble, he gets up quickly to stretch and to see what has disturbed his rest...
Overview: The setting takes place in some woods, a well spaced cave, and on a grassy plain with woods nearby..Sunny during the day, rains at night, warm weather all around.

Catching up to the deer, she lands in front of the deer, folder her wings as she lands, growling at the deer. Befor the deer could turn around to sprint off in the other direct, Ari quickly reacts and catches the deer at its side with her sharp claws, making the deer wobble on its feet, then collapsing as it loses concious. Happy at catching her prey, she quickly goes over to the deers body, snaping her teeth at its stomach first, quickly getting a chunk of meat into her mouth, and swallows. At finishing her meal, she finds herself in a cozy spot to lay and sleep as the storm and darkness passes.

Morning came befor Ari knew it. Waking up to the sun shining on her through the trees. She gets up and stretches aswell as yawning, quickly gets her breakfast and moves on with her travels, trying to find a home for herself as she nears adulthood.

I stretched out and yawn, thinking its time for a nap, so I flew off quickly into the sky, heading a short distance to my home. Landing, I sensed the same danger present as befor, very similar to the one from earlier. I ignored it, walking into my cave to lay down and rest befor the evening took place.
As the evening nears, Ari hears rustles in the woods nearby, looking up in interest to see if it would be her meal, she finds what made the noises, Hunters. About 8 of them came out cautiously to her with long, sharp spears. Alittle fear struck Ari, as this has never happened to her befor. Getting in a fighting stance to prepare for a small fight, heart thumping excitedly, she strikes her first foe, killing one of the men, leaving 7 standing in shock and ready to strike. Quickly the men started to surround her, being careful for her next move, but unfortunately another one got struck by her sharp claws, in reaction to this, one of the men threw his spear at her front shoulder, making her roar in pain as she reacted, swinging her tail at him and sending him into a a tree, knocking him unconscious, leaving 5 standing. Growling and breathing heavily, she quickly switched back and fourth to each foe that were around her, finding an open spot, she sprints towards it. Another spear thrown to her other front shoulder, roaring loudly in pain and falling forward, taking a tree down aswell.
As I woke up to some disturbance in my sleep, and thankfully that it was just the right time as it was nearing dark, I stretched and walked out to look down to see where the noise came from. "I thought so sure I heard a roar..." Spyro said to himself, stretching his wings out and flying down from his mountain cave to land on the grassy plain. Looking around while walking towards the forest, he hears another roar. Excitedly, I run towards where I heard the roar from, going into the woods.
Ari started to panic and fear took over her as she started losing the battle. The 4 men and the other without his weapon started to circle her incase she attempted to make another run. Looking at each one of them with her dragonness eyes as she lay on her side, breathing heavily as blood dripped from her shoulders down her legs and onto the ground. She attempted to get up, as successful as she was, one of the hunters leaped out to jab his spear into her stomach, reacting in such a way she has never reacted befor, in a single heart beat, she looked up and caught half the man in her mouth, biting down extremely hard, cutting the man in half with her teeth, eating the other half. Turning around to look at the other 3 with weapons, blood coming from her teeth and with an angry expession, the men got fearful and ran away. With no energy left to chase after them, she collasped onto the ground as they got out of sight, her sight started to blurr, making it hard to see as she started to feel unconcious.
As I was walking toward the scene, I see the hunters face me, they had frightful looks on their faces, and turned to run when I tilted my head in suspecion at them. "Things just get more wierd each day..." I thought as I continued going into the woods. I came up to see a small trail of blood, my curiosity got to me more and more as I looked around to find the source. The trail led to a few hunters bodies and then something big... "Another dragon!" She thinks for a moment, then replies with a smile, "I think I'll take up on that. Thank you." I sigh heavily, worried that I may do something wrong as I've never had this kind of company befor.
