#2 of Mattheus

Sorry I've been gone for so long, but my mom blocked the website. I've got two more parts I'm going to upload later this month. Well here's the follow up to chapter 1

The final bell of the day rang and the majority of Mrs. Hunter's Chemistry class powered out into the hall. Martin and his senior friend, Amie, left the class room chuckling at various things that they had took notice of thought the long day. Like most of his friends, Martin had to glance up at the vixen as they spoke. "Well, it's great to see you again Martin. I'd love to stay and chat, but I have to go find Matthew. I can't believe someone as wild as him is my brother." Amie said when they got to the end of the hall.

"Tell Matt hello for me. I would go with you, but I have to go and find Bryan." Martin said as he turned around to leave. The otter had decided that he was going up to the wolf's house during lunch earlier in the day. He only told Amie at the beginning of Chemistry, knowing that the vixen was loyal and wouldn't tell anyone.

"Alright just be careful. Bryan may be a big guy, but sometimes he gets a little full of himself. I just don't want to see you get hurt." Amie commented before she sprinted away from the young otter.

Martin slowed down his pace as he tried to wrap his mind around the vixen's comment. Knowing that she was already gone, the otter just chuckled to himself and slipped around the corner and headed for his locker. As he got there he found Lee, his coyote boyfriend Noah, and the big wolfie. "What's up, how are you guys doing?"

In his tenor voice, the coyote answered his friend. "Just about the break and what we're going to do after school today. Bryan said that the two of you are going to hang out, have fun."

Seeing that Bryan had planned on spending time with the otter whether he liked it or not, Martin couldn't help turning his head to the side as he started to blush. Lee started to laugh hysterically, but stopped when he saw Bryan glaring at him. "Come on Noahy; let's leave these two to their fun." Lee said knowing that the conversation was going nowhere. The hyena grabbed his lover by the paw and led were out of sight in a few seconds.

Martin looked worryingly towards Bryan, worried about what had happened during school. Bryan wrapped one of his arms around his friend. "Don't worry; they took what I said wrong. I told them we might be hanging out after-school today, a few seconds before you got here. Do you really think I would have forced you to spend time with me?"

"I ... I was just a bit worried. I already have to worry about the trouble I'm going to get into once I get home." Martin said as the wolf led him outside. "Sorry I over-reacted."

The cold Missouri wind slapped the otter and wolf in the face as they left the warmth of the school. Bryan chuckled at his little friend. "I don't believe I've ever asked you this, but why don't you a coat or even a jacket during the winter."

Martin shrugged before he stretched out him his arms. "I used to be on the swim team, before they became assholes. The water we trained in was a lot colder than this weather. But there are times when I do get cold."

"Ah, well I hope you don't mind that the heater of my car isn't functioning then." The wolf responded at they finally reached his car.

The small otter just shook his head as he opened the passenger door of his friend's, dark blue car. Martin found the inside of the car to be very relaxing and calming. Unlike most people who admired Bryan's car, Martin had no intention to ask about it. He knew little about any vehicles and didn't care enough to learn more about them. "So is Jen going up to her boyfriend's house today? Martin asked once Bryan had gotten in the car and started it up.

Bryan answered his friend's question without taking his attention off of driving out of the parking lot. "Nah, she is just getting a ride from Corey, she said that she didn't want to over crowd the car in case you came up. If I might ask, are you single? I've never seen you real close to anyone."

Martin's flushed face turned towards his curious friend. "Yeah, but I've never tried to find anyone though. What about you?"

Bryan gave the otter's small shoulder a quick pat, before returning it to the car wheel. "I'm in the same boat as you and I love it. It's the best way to go, at least in high school."
