Lockdown Ch. 1 - How it began

It began on a regular school day at Pantheran Academy. This entire time of sitting inside of one classroom felt like an eternity for me since we had a test coming up that following day. I basically didn't want to review since what is the actual point of really doing this, honestly...?
We all know we're pretty much going to fail anyway. Oh wait. Where are my manners? Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lucky Stanton. I'm a Wolfdog and I'm new to Moonstone.
I am also a third year in Panthers Academy, close to my final year at the school before I graduate. However, I was made unaware of the test since this is the second week of my transfer from another school.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand - while we were reviewing our lessons before the test, I check my phone to see the time. "Please end the class soon," i groan to myself and slump back in my chair.
Some of my peers either fell asleep or pretended to pay attention. However, Seth and I decided to just hang in the middle row of class and just talk.
Seth is my Serval buddy whom i've met since I transferred to this school. We just talked throughout since our teacher wasn't paying attention, but let's be honest, our entire class did absolutely nothing.
I can already assume that our teacher had gotten tired of reviewing and decided to just quit since none of us were paying attention. He was there, sitting at his desk on his phone. Apparently, the silence of the classroom was broken by this one annoying classmate of mine.
Honestly, I've had to endure most of her stupid lectures about how we Pantherans are selfish for forcing humans to pay taxes for things that they never did. "All I'm technically saying is," I heard her little voice speaking directly to Freckle and Ret.
"If the humans didn't to anything, how come they had to pay for everything that we own? I mean, first we steal their personal property and then we force them to pay VERY exorbitant prices for our actions?"
"So, now you're going to say that we're keeping humans away from basic needs, too?" Ret's sarcastic tone had started to take effect. "Like how we forced them to stay away from our water, our schools, and our jobs?"
"SO NOW WHAT, RET!? Because we act like cowards and not take responsibility for our actions and, instead, use the humans for OUR personal gain!? OF COURSE!! We need to at least take a look at what we're doing! It's wrong and it's racist to make the humans responsible for things that they didn't even do!! I get it!! I know what the human rights activists do for a living!!"
Seth, not liking what he's hearing, decided to just stand up and scream. While she rambled on about Humans and Pantherans having unfair laws, I saw him lean forward from the desk and just yell.
"Hey, Svetlana, can you STOP BEING A FREAKIN' SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIOR OVER THERE!? Christ, you are one of the most annoying students in this school!"
"Oh, don't go there, Seth! Just because you say i'm annoying, that doesn't make me annoying. Maybe you're pretty much a little bugger because YOU WOULD NOT SHUT UP ABOUT YOUR PARENTS!!"
I facepalmed at this argument as it gave me a headache for a few minutes. I'm really starting to get pretty bothered by these two, but i'm just waiting for the teacher to notice.
