A Little Holiday Cheer

"C'mon! She's right there, man."

Calvin whined nervously, looking around at all his friends as they pushed him towards the kitchen. Towards what they claimed would be a great experience for him, a chance to get out of his shell and to enjoy himself. They'd said the same thing about this Christmas party in general, and thus far while the drinks, the food and the music hadn't been entirely unpleasant, Calvin got the distinct impression that he would have had just as much fun sitting at home with just the four of them playing some board games. The hyena tried to tell them that he wasn't really interested, not that this was true of course. He tried to tell them that it wasn't a big deal, that he didn't really put any stock in dumb holiday traditions like that. This was true, but it had little to do with the real reason he felt so nervous. The real reason was right there in front of him as the rest of his friends cajoled and coaxed him out of the main party area and into the kitchen.

She was standing by the fridge, directly underneath the sprig of mistletoe which dangled from the ceiling on some string pinned in place by a metal tack. Currently she was alone, but Calvin's friends had insisted that she had been standing there for at least five minutes, welcoming all comers to the room and urging them to join her under the mistletoe for some holiday cheer. Each and every one of them had seemingly shared a Christmas Kiss with her, and now they wanted their friend to share the same.

Warmly, playfully the jackal giggled and reached out with both hands, beckoning to Calvin as his friends remained in the doorway. They stood side by side wedged in the frame of the kitchen door, blocking anyone else from entering and providing themselves with a good excuse and a good vantage point to watch their terminally shy friend engage not only with someone new, but with someone who seemed the very opposite of his withdrawn, at times even outright uncommunicative self.

Calvin shivered bashfully as he felt his hands being plucked from his sides and grasped by other warm, soft fingers. He gasped as he was pulled sharply forward, so sharply that for a moment or two he lost his balance, ending up not just beside the jackal but tumbling fully into her embrace. She didn't seem to mind though. Indeed as they came to rest face to face, eye to eye before the fridge's humming exterior Calvin could see joy and warmth bursting forth from the eyes of the woman before him. To his surprise he couldn't smell alcohol on her breath or anywhere around her. She didn't look like she was being pressured into this, or like she was in any way uncomfortable with what she was seemingly doing.

"Hi."

She whispered with a smile, though as she saw how nervous Calvin was she dialled it back a little with the outward enthusiasm.

"You don't have to do this, you know. If your friends are forcing you... I can tell them to go fuck off, and we can just chill out here. Talk for a while."

Calvin's eyes widened. His cheeks flushed. Of all the things this woman could have said to him, he hadn't expected that it would be anything close to as genuinely and sincerely reassuring as that. He swallowed, and was about to nod, about to tell her that he would actually appreciate that a great deal, when she whispered to him one more time.

"Or... you could kiss me. Just a quick peck. I know it's stupid, but... I really like this tradition. So much of the year we're told we can only be affectionate and loving to a few people. Lovers. Family. Maybe our super close friends. But, I think the world needs more love and affection in it to make it a better place. So every holiday, I love to spread a little extra holiday cheer wherever I can. Whatever I can do to make others smile. To make others feel good. And so long as that cheer is freely given, shared amongst those who want it, that can't be a bad thing... right?"

The hyena's head span. It wasn't that anything this woman had to say had changed his mind necessarily, he was still every bit as shy and uncomfortable as he had been to begin with. But... truth be told, Calvin hadn't kissed that many people before. He hadn't had the chance that many times, and on some of the few chances he had been given, he hadn't been at all interested in the people offering him a kiss. This woman though, however bubbly and forward and totally the opposite of himself she might have been, seemed nice. And if ever there was a reason to kiss someone in Calvin's mind, it was that. Because they seemed good. Because they seemed nice, even to a nervous, cripplingly shy person like him.

He nodded. He blushed. And his eyes widened as before he had a chance to prepare himself, before he had a chance to overthink what was coming or back out of it in imminent fear of potentially disappointing either the jackal or his friends, her lips were brushing against his.

A quick peck. That was all it was to begin with, and yet his friends erupted in whoops and cheers of elation, applauding like he had just been announced as an Oscar winner or something. As Calvin opened his eyes in the wake of that brief kiss however, he saw a strange look on the jackal's face. An expression of confusion, of surprise upon her features, with a rosy glow seeming to burst into being beneath her cheeks as she met his curious, bashful gaze. He trembled as he felt her arms around him tighten, and whispered nervously.

"D-did... I'm sorry, did I do something wrong?"

She licked her lips. She giggled, and shook her head.

"No. Nothing wrong. It's just... that was a very, very quick kiss. I... if you don't mind, would you like to kiss me some more?"

Calvin blushed, and barely had time to nod, never mind to vocally agree, before the woman's muzzle was pressing more firmly, more forcefully against his once again. His eyes widened as he felt her tongue pushing itself between his pursed lips, and they widened even further still when he saw the expression on her own face turn from one of focused concentration to one of shock. One of stunned disbelief. And then to an expression he had only seen a few times before, upon the faces of the few other men and women whom he had found himself kissing upon the lips in his lifetime.

He felt the woman's arms tighten their grip around him, and stumbled slightly, falling back against the front of the tall fridge/freezer before which they stood, as she leaned in urgently against him. He felt her muzzle ravaging his own with repeated smooches and smacks as they kissed more and more deeply, his own response to her oral ministrations calm and natural, oddly calm in fact despite his normal state of social anxiety when in the presence of anything more than a few close friends. And the more she kissed him, and the more he obliged by kissing her back, the more he felt her body trembling, and heard grunts, growls, all sorts of restrained guttural sounds escaping quiet enough for only the two of them to hear, but with an intensity that seemed to shake the woman from whom they were erupting to their very core.

"Don't stop... o-ohh, kiss me. Keep on... I... I'm... oohhh..."

Glancing towards the kitchen doorway out of the corner of one eye, Calvin could see his friends just staring in stunned silence now as the jackal pinned him to the fridge and rubbed, writhed against him as they made out heavily. She was bucking, grinding, trembling against him, and as she whispered those desperate words that only Calvin himself could hear between feverish lip-locks, that trembling grew more and more volatile until a more widely, wildly audible grunt escaped the jackal and she sagged in his embrace, whining and whimpering joyously as they kissed on and on for about ten seconds more before finally, with a gasp of what sounded almost like pained over-excitement, she forced herself to pull back.

Her face was flushed.

Her eyes were wide and yet oddly glazed over.

She licked her lips, and brought a hand up to touch two fingers to her muzzle in shock as she stared at Calvin.

"I... y-you made me... o-oh, wow..."

She stepped back from their shared embrace, looked towards the kitchen door where Calvin's friends were still standing and watching in dumbfounded wonder, and blushed as she turned her gaze back towards the hyena.

"I... I'm... j-just gonna go... get a few friends of mine. Please. Stay here. Tell me you'll stay right h-here..."

Blinking in confusion, shuddering nervously at the idea of yet more people arriving, Calvin swallowed thickly and nodded. A moment later the jackal was pushing her way past his friends and out of the room, and his friends were rushing inside and surrounding him in a cluster of overlapping, stunned questions.

"Dude! She was all over you! What did you do to her?"

"Holy shit, have you been holding out on us? Have you been a secret Casanova all this time?"

"I've never seen anyone so into a kiss! She wasn't like that with me. What gives?"

Before they had stopped asking those questions though, before Calvin had any opportunity to try and respond to any of the less insane sounding queries amongst them, they heard voices approaching and parted as the jackal returned with not one, not two but three friends of her own in tow. Urgently she pointed Calvin out to them, and one of the newcomers, a deer with an eyebrow raised as he looked the meek hyena up and down, stepped forward.

"So... Dana tells us that you're the best kisser she's ever met."

Calvin's eyes bulged. His friends stepped back as though in awe. The deer grinned, and continued with a warmer, more playful tone.

"She wants us to find out for ourselves. So... are you up for that?"

Calvin opened his mouth to say no. To say that he didn't want all this attention, all this focus on him and his lips. But then he thought back to how the jackal had looked as she stood in his arms with his lips against hers. He thought about that happy, overwhelmed look on her face towards the very end. He liked how that had looked. How that had made him feel, seeing her so overwhelmed by what apparently was his kissing. And even though it wasn't ideal that he had to do it more surrounded by a bunch of people, Calvin knew he had to try and not let his shyness keep him from doing things that he actively enjoyed.

He blushed. He looked around at his friends, at Dana, and then up at the taller deer standing before him.

"Yeah."

Calvin murmured bashfully.

"We can kiss, if you'd like."

And they did.

Just as with Dana, it started off gentle with just a peck. After a moment though, with the deer's eyes widening and him shooting a surprised, slightly bashful look of his own to the raptly watching, blushing jackal, they kissed more deeply once again.

And again, just as with the woman with whom he had made out mere minutes before, it wasn't long before the deer was trembling in his embrace. Before he was feeling the other man shake and writhe against him as they kissed deeper and deeper. The only difference this time around was that as he felt the other man's excitement and delight rising, he felt a more palpable, tangible sign of that excitement pressing against his hip. He felt it twitching. Straining as their lips met and their tongues teased at one another. And when he saw that same overwhelmed look in the man's eyes as he had seen in the jackal, and heard him grunting, gasping, then letting out a joyous bellow of shock and wonder, he felt that tangible excitement throbbing, pulsing, and he felt a small spot of heated wetness pressing against his hip as the deer shook and convulsed against him while their kissing finally drew to a breathless, red-faced end.

The deer staggered away with his hands over his crotch, nodding in stunned amazement to his friends. Confirming, impossible as it sounded, exactly what Dana had told them. Exactly what she had said this hyena could do with just a kiss.

"Shotgun! Me next!"

A rabbit piped up eagerly.

"Aww, c'mon, I wanted to go next! You can't call shotgun on a kiss!"

One of Dana's other friends, a tigress, pouted enviously. Before either one of them could step closer to Calvin though, the hyena felt a familiar pair of arms wrapping around him. He blushed, and yet he smiled as he felt Dana gently press him up against the fridge once more, her body already trembling in anticipation as she looked at his blushing face and his nervously smiling muzzle.

"T-the mistletoe's still there... right?"

She nodded upward. Calvin looked, saw it, and nodded slowly. The jackal whined in excitement.

"And you're still under it, right?"

Again Calvin nodded, blushing bashfully as this woman ground and practically humped against his body as she waited for him to catch on. After just a few seconds though she groaned in desperation, unable to handle how slow he was on the uptake.

"Then... d-do you wanna share a little more holiday cheer with me while they argue over who wants it the most? Just one more kiss?"

Calvin had barely even started to nod when for a few seconds Dana savagely drove her muzzle against his, her body tensing, trembling, and a shrill, giddy whine escaping her as she did so before she drew back with a ragged, breathless gasp.

"O-ohhhgod. Or... or maybe a couple more. Two, o-or three. Please. Just... just kiss me again. Let me feel your lips. Your tongue. L-let me... let me feel it all, a-ahh... again."
