Times of Peace
Many years had passed since the aparoid wars and the galaxy seemed at peace, the heroes who had won the war spent time with their famalies. Tamati and Ammy were taking their son Thomas to castle acorn along with Krystal and her kids as well since it had been so long since they've seen each other, her children Marcus and Rebecca wanted to be soldiers like their father and because of that they knew they had to learn from one of the best warriors in the galaxy.
"Mom? Is this Fang really THAT good? I mean those guys in the library always exaggerate about heroes."
"Well they don't exaggerate about this one dear and i've seen him fight. Next to his courage Fang is the most strongest sword fighter in the galaxy."
"Next to me of course."
Tamati flexed his arm in triumph remembering the glory days of when he and Fang teamed up kicking aparoid but all over the star system but Thomas wasn't impressed.
"Oh come on dad! you expect me to believe that you fought side by side with the Dragon Champion of Mobius?"
"And that I fought against him *pulls up sleeve to reveal a small scar* this scar was given to me by him during our last fight and I was lucky to come out with that."
They finally arrived at the castle courtyard to see a group of dragon knights in a circle and in the center was Fangs daughter Jewel sparing against her father with her two new katanas forged by the same magic that created Foe Reaver; Her fathers legendary sword.
"What is the first path to becoming a knight?-HYAGH!!!"
"HYA! Knight puts the lives of others before themselves!! they fear no enemy man, beast or machine!! and finally a knight attacks head on without fear of death!!!!"
Within three more attacks Jewel had disarmed her father leaving the other knights amazed since it was rare for a sword master like Fang to be beaten, even the other kids were impressed as they stared in awe as she fixed her flowing hair while she wiped the sweat from her head and left for the showers but not before smiling as her father hugged her.
"That's my girl."
"*kisses cheek* Love you daddy!!"
As she shortly waved goodbye Fang noticed his old friends and welcomed them as he dismissed his body guard for the day and called the servants to prepare lunch for him and his guests, while they caught up on lost time the kids explored the castle with Jewel giving the tour.
"Wow...Jewel I envy you. you have it made."
"Thanks Rebecca but despite all the servants and stuff this place is a real bore but at least I get to hang out with daddy when he's not working."
"You call a days training hanging out with your dad?"
Marcus didn't understand Jewels relationship with her father since she didn't spend time with him like he did when he was with his family but he could tell she loved him very much and that she was the most treasured thing Fang held in his heart. They soon stumbled upon the "Heroes Hall" a new sight on the castle that was allowed to the public and inside was the portraits of the galaxies greatest heroes and among them was Jewels grandfather the infamous Sonic The Hedgehog and in the center stood two bodies of battle damaged armor and behind a portrait with very familiar faces.
"Hey! those are my parents!!"
"Marcus look! it's mom and dad!! wow they look so young."
"Yup daddy had this made on the day before I was born, said it reminds him of why they fought together."
"KIIDS!! LUNCH TIME!!"
While the children joined their parents for lunch troubled brewed elsewhere in the galaxy as a small strange pod flew away from an aparoid hive hidden deep within the asteroid field and inside a young girl looked back at the nest feeling relieved.
"I'm free...."
