Sticking to the shadows, the squad moved to the warehouse they were going to try to raid. They did not take vehicles, mainly due to the fact that it would attract too much attention. Nobody saw them anyway, except for a couple of foxes, but they certainly didn't care, they just pretended not to notice them so attention would not be drawn to them.

They finally noticed the warehouse, large and imposing compared to the rest of the architecture in the area. One of the fox policemen-turned-soldiers tapped the chainlink fence with a pair of heavy cutters. No sparks flew. "Not even electrified, the security here is even more pathetic than I thought."

The squad captain, Indie Reginal Alighieri chuckled. "Better for us.... cut it down."

They quickly set to work cutting a fox (and wolf, if they crouched a bit) sized hole in the fence. They slipped through without notice. Indie whispered. "Okay, I want a five man..." Corporal Graesser crossed her arms and frowned. Indie sighed "...and woman team on each side. Private Benedick and I will be on the rooftop providing sniper support. Jenkins, you were already in the police before, so you have combat training. You'll be leading blue team on the west. Graesser, you're on demolition duty if anything needs to be... well... demolished. You'll also be leading red team on the east. I want safeties ON until they fire the first shot. Until then, I want SILENT kills. Understood?" They all nodded. Sergeant Alighieri smiled. "Alright, go... We'll be up on the roof as soon as you take out the surveillance hut."

Private Jenkins cracked his knuckles. "Don't worry... I got this..." He bounced in the shadows, carefully peering into the hut. The wolf officers were distracted, looking at the monitors. Their backs were to the door. Jenkins had to stifle a laugh. "Not even perpendicular to the door, what idiot designed this?" He thought to himself. He drew his knife, twirling it in his paw. He crept into the room, very slowly, not making any sudden movements. He was only a couple of yards from the officers now, one yard. He held his breath and shot his paws forward, grabbing the sides of his head and giving an unforgiving yank to the side. His neck snapped audibly and he fell limply to the ground. The other officer swiveled around. "Oi who ar-!" He was silenced as the Private clamped his muzzle shut with one paw and swung his other, knife in paw across his throat. Blood gushed from the gaping wound and the private jumped out of the way of the spray. He stuck out his head, spotted the Sergeant and grinned, giving him the middle finger eagerly.

Indie had to stifle a laugh as he watched the private. "He's having WAY too much fun..." He tapped Liz on the shoulder. "Let's go. You've got the M-16, take out any guards. I'm holding an actual sniper rifle, yours is antipersonnel." They ascended the stairs and Liz gasped, squeezing the trigger as a wolf crossed straight in front of her path at a landing. With quiet thuds, the bullets ripped through his body and he held his stomach, a look on his face like that was the last thing he expected to happen to him today. A bullet pierced his chest and he gasped in shock, falling over on the stairs, blood pooling under him, dripping down one more step every couple of seconds. Indie frowned. "Pretty."

Liz lifted her shoes, now bloody. "Ewwww...."

Indie shrugged. "Shit happens, go go go, we have to go.... and next time look before you step out."

She was eager to get out of the blood pool and she moved further up the stairs. Indie stopped her. "Scrape off the bottom of your shoes, bloody footprints are usually a pretty good tracking agent...." She did so and stopped at the next landing, peering out, sighing in relief when nobody was there. They reached the roof and Indie did a quick scan. "Nobody's here...." He ran over a good cover spot and set up his rifle. He quickly turned when he heard several quiet thuds, Liz holding her rifle out and another guard spiraling and falling to the ground. He widened his eyes. "I didn't notice him... if you didn't I would have been screwed..."

"Don't mention it..." She reloaded and lied beside him. "So, what are we doing first?"

"I'd like a blowjob and we'll see where it goes from there." She raised an eyebrow. "Oh! You're talking about the mission?"

"Um... duh?"

He chuckled. "I know, just messing with you, war's no fun if you don't crack a joke here and there." He pointed down to a pair of guards on either side of the warehouse entrance. "You get right, I've got left, on three, got it?"

She nodded and got ready, getting the right guy in her sights. Indie looked down the scope of his large rifle and got lined up. "Alright, here we go... 3... 2... 1... shoot!" They pressed the trigger at the same time and Liz's rounds hit his head and neck, making him fall back, instantly dead. Indie's rifle let out a strong thud and he bounced back an inch or so, his bullet going clean through his prey's head, making it explode. "Hah! Headshot, 2 points."

"What now?"

Indie kept his eye on the scope. "We provide support, now it's up to the 2 teams to bring them down."

___________________________________________

Graesser grinned as the sentinals fell. "Alright, on three..." Jenkins and the other team nodded. She held up her paw and 3 fingers, whispering. "3... 2...1..." They charged forward and attempted to open the door. However it was locked. "Fuck..." She took what looked to be a key out of her bag and put it in the lock. She put a tiny black ball on the protruding end and pulled out a detonator. "Sergeant, should we knock?"

Indie replied over the radio. "Do it, they know we're here, and if they don't they will soon."

She grinned and pressed the top of the detonator. The key looking thing exploded with a bang and pieces of the doorknob and lock flew in all directions, various springs and tumblers flying like little deadly shrapnel. Jenkins kicked down the now useless door. "FREEZE!" He blinked and looked around. "Where..." Suddenly automatic weapons fire boomed from all directions. Jenkins ducked behind a crate. "Shit! It's a trap!" He barked over the radio.

"Sergeant! Get your ass down here!" A bullet whizzed through a window and hit one of the Mozarts, making him nearly flip over.

"Way ahead of you Jenkins." Several more bullets flew through the window and hit various targets, making them corkscrew and flip with the powerful hits. Liz was firing now too, smaller bullets landing cleanly through the skulls of many of the Mozarts. They began to move out of sight of the window. Indie's voice crackled through the radio. "We're coming down to help, Liz, reload, We'll be there in a second."

Jenkins growled and grabbed his rifle. "Return fire!" They peeked out behind cover, one unlucky BRAGG fox had a bullet go clean though his head. The other foxes roared and returned their volley of fire eagerly, enraged by their lost brother. It seemed like they were mowing down the Mozarts, but they just kept coming. It was difficult to see them in their standard grey uniforms, their sparkling fangs were still scary in what little light there was. A single WOLF aimed down the sight of his M-416, about to pull the trigger when a stray bullet hit his shoulder and he yelped in pain and got down on a knee, holding his shoulder. One of the BRAGG wolves, wearing his standard olive drab, vaulted over a crate and brought a knife into the wounded Mozart's neck. Withdrawing the bloody blade, the WOLF now permanently silenced, he grabbed the Mozart's M-416 and started to fire. He was able to only get about 10 shots out before he ran out ammo. While searching for a magizine, a bullet hit straight down the middle of his back and he fell without a scream, having no control over his lungs any longer.

Jenkins looked to his partner when he was in the police, shooting down the wolves quickly. Mozart after Mozart fell with shrieks, yelps, or the occasional "Motherfucker!", but they just kept coming. "Joe! Get cover!" A bullet hit his chest and he fell back.

"Owww! Sonova!" He shook his head. "Phew thank god for the bulletproof ve-" His last word was cut off, a bullet cutting through his throat. The force of impact sliced his head clean off his body.

"Joe? JOSEPH!" Jenkins shook him. He recovered the bullet off the floor. "What the... this is a .44... a long one..." He blinked and gasped as a loud crack of a sniper rifle rung out and a bullet pinged off the ground just inches from his crotch. "SNIPERS!" He scrambled behind some new cover, fearing for his life. He looked over his cover and ducked immediately, a bullet whizzing over his head with another loud crack. "INDIE! SNIPERS!" He barked into the radio. Another window shattered and a black figure slumped in the shadows over the railing, long rifle landing on the floor with a crack.

"Working on it!" Indie said urgently.

Chloe fired her gun urgently and she ran out of ammo with a few clicks of the trigger. "Shit!" She reached for another magazine, patting herself, but finding none. "Oh fuck this!" She pulled a round disk of a putty like substance from her bag and shoved another one of the detonators in it. She threw it like a Frisbee in the direction of the Mozarts. "Fetch!" She pulled the demolition remote from her pack quickly and clicked it when it got near the middle of the group. This caused the C4 disk to explode violently and wolves scattered in all directions, not all of them with their limbs. "Strike! 2 more of those and I've got myself a turkey!"

A couple of BRAGG wolves raised their eyebrows, impressed with her ingenuity. She felt for another one of the disks, but she didn't find any. "Shit! Everyone! I'm outta ammo!"

Jenkins aimed carefully and watched with satisfaction as one of the snipers fell with a single bullet. "Find some! We've killed enough that there should be enough ammo to go around!"

Chloe grunted. "Motherfucking..." She backed up against a crate and looked back. "Hello... what's this?" She overturned the crate and some grenades rolled out. "Oh right... this is a warehouse! Sweeeet..." She shouted back to everybody. "Yo! Check the crates!"

Jenkins pried open the crate he was hiding behind. "Awesome! So that's where they got those incendiary grenades...."

Chloe grabbed a couple of her grenades and pulled the pins simultaneously. "One... Two..." She quickly tossed them back and a powerful shockwave as well as anguished screaming showed it worked.

Jenkins grinned. "Let's send them crying home to mommy!" He tossed a couple of incendiary grenades and watched in satisfaction as everything in a ten foot radius went up in flame, including some Mozarts.

Chloe threw another grenade and some of the Mozarts were blown apart. Gore was now splattered everywhere, on both sides, but more so on the Mozart side. A finger there, a leg there, occasionally an entire head separate from its body. Some of the crates were engulfed in flame and little pops and miniature explosions came from inside.

"Private Jenkins! Careful! This shit is explosive!"

The desperate Mozarts now cracked open crates on their side. A grenade landed in Chloe's lap. "HOSHIT!" She scrambled away from her hiding spot just in time. The concussive blast knocked her onto her stomach and pieces of concrete, kicked up by the blast, flew over her and landed in her fur. She panted heavily. "That was close..." A bullet whizzed by her head and embedded itself in the concrete beside her. "But I can't rest here!" She scrambled away and moved next to Jenkins. "Private! I'm scared!"

Jenkins looked around, still behind cover. "Wait a minute... they've stopped firing..." He saw the bodies of his comrades strewn over the floor behind him. "Corporal... I think we're the only ones left."

Chloe shook. "Where the fuck are Indie and Liz?"

Jenkins looked around nervously. "The better question is... where are the Mozarts?"

Chloe gasped. "Oh shit! I lost them...." She held up her pistol. "Not good..." She fumbled with the radio on her belt. "Indie! If you can hear this! PLEASE! Call for backup!"

Jenkins reloaded his rifle. "Last mag... I hope there aren't many..." A shadow lifted its arm. Jenkins gasped. "Chloe! DOWN!" He pushed her to the ground and screamed as bullets tore through his body, but thankfully nowhere vital, since he was wearing a bulletproof vest and the shooter was at decent range. Still, he was nearly torn to shreds in his legs and arms, shielding Chloe. "Owwww! Fuck that... hurt... losing... blood..." He passed out with a moan.

Chloe gasped under him. "Private? Private Jenkins? Come on Tyler! Don't go!" She felt for a pulse on his neck, she found one. "Oh god! We need to get out of here..." She shook and cowered in fear when she saw the Mozart that had taken him down approach, a wicked smile on his face. He lifted his rifle to Jenkins' head. Chloe panted heavily.

"Shit! I have to think fast..." She thought to herself. She looked down to her breasts and something clicked in her mind. She held out her paw. "NO! DON'T!"

The Mozart turned to her, his voice cold. "What the hell do you want, Vulp?"

Chloe got down on her knees, sobbing. "Please! Don't hurt him! He was my best friend! I'll do anything, ANYTHING!"

The wolf chuckled. "Oh? And just what do you have to offer, information?"

She shook her head. "N-no... I can't give you that..."

He pressed the gun to Jenkins' head. "Then he dies."

She screamed. "NO! NOOOO! You can't!" She laughed inside. "Oh my god... it's actually working..."

He growled. "Then what do you have to give me?"

She looked around, completely empty. "How about my... my..." She began to sob again, she turned away slightly, ripping her bra when he couldn't see.

"Your what!"

She yelped. "M-my virginity... please! I'll do whatever you want, just don't hurt him!" She leaned forward, showing her ripped top and bra.

He raised an eyebrow. "Well, can't pass that up now can I?" He grinned. "Well then Vulp... off with them... show me what you got..."

She whimpered and looked down, placing her paws on her fatigue bottoms. "Goddamn it... where the hell are Indie and Liz? They don't honestly expect me to do this? This is a distraction..." She thought to herself. "Gotta do something..." She carefully pulled out a small knife from her belt, slipping it into her palm, hiding the blade behind her back. She pulled down her pants and blushed, pretending to be embarrassed. In all actuality she was disgusted she had to do this in order to kill somebody.

The wolf laughed. "Well! You're certainly a lot hotter than some of the foxes I've seen... maybe I'll keep you as a pet." He grinned and pulled off his pants, erection already showing. "Blow me." He said firmly, with a growl. "Or your friend dies."

She whimpered. "Y-yes sir..." She crawled over and looked down, gulping. She looked up again, tears in her eyes.

"Do it Vulp! Or you die too!" She sobbed, but soon it turned into giggles, then laughs. He raised an eyebrow. "The fuck you laughing about?"

She looked up with a grin. "SURPRISE LUPE!" She thrusted the knife into his exposed balls and he dropped the gun in shock.

He screamed loudly. "MOTHERFUCKER!"

Liz pulled the knife out and let out a battle cry, knocking him over. She was nearly foaming at the mouth with anger, stabbing him repeatedly. "You sick fuck! I'll fucking kill you! I'll cut your stomach open and deck the halls with your entrails!"

He screamed and writhed under her. "Ow! No! Owww! Stop! Please STOP!! OHH GOD IT HURTS, PLEASE STOP! I'M SORRY!"

She howled with fury and sunk the blade into his neck. A spray of blood shot up and coated her as he finally fell limp. She panted heavily, dropping the knife. She sat there in silence for a couple of seconds, then began to sob. Within seconds she was crying hysterically, curling her bloody form up in a ball on the floor.

Indie and Liz ran in. "Sorry we're late! Security went ape-shit!" Indie gasped. "By all that is holy... what happened here?" He looked over at Chloe. "Corperal? Graesser? Are you alright?"

She didn't reply at first, then she began to laugh. "He's d-dead... pervert is dead... stabbed him in the balls... like he deserved... motherfucking lupe is in hell now..." She began to laugh a little louder.

Indie gulped. "Oh shit... she's in shock... I think she's off the deep end..."

Liz ran over. "Chloe?! You okay?"

She looked at her quizzically, like the words didn't make any sense to her. "Am I... okay? I am... okay... Okay I am... okay am I?"

Indie knelt down. "Chloe... calm down... you're in shock right now... you're body hasn't caught up to what's happened."

She blinked and looked around, as if caught in a dream. "I killed him..." She pointed to the bloody, mutilated corpse. "Pervert is dead..."

Indie picked up the knife and gun, hiding them from her view. "I'm not sure she'll be able to recover... I think this will haunt her for years..."

Chloe blinked and suddenly everything caught up and she widened her eyes, darting between Indie and Liz. "Oh shit! Oh shit! Omigod omigod omigod! What the fuck happened?!"

Liz held her. "Chloe! Calm down! You're fine, you were just in a very traumatizing experience."

She cocked her head. "I was? I don't remember anything..."

"Perhaps that's for the best..." Indie said.

She blinked and looked down at her bloody body. "So much blood... hey... where'd my pants go..." She started to turn back, towards the corpse

Indie was ready. "Shit! Liz, cover her eyes!"

She did so. "Hey! What's the big idea!"

Indie covered up the corpse quickly using a tarp from one of the crates. "Your mind blocked that out for a reason, seeing it again could be dangerous."

She frowned. "True... if my mind blocked it out, I can imagine that it was pretty bad..."

Indie nodded. "Well, the mission's gone to shit... let's see what we can salvage..."

Chloe frowned, trying to figure something out. "Let's see what I remember... I remember that me and Jenkins were the last ones left... and then... then..." She suddenly remembered. "Oh my god! Jenkins is alive!" She rushed over to

him. "Sergeant! Do you have any bandages? Anything?!"

Indie looked him over. "Wow... that's a lot of gunshots..."

"He was trying to protect me... please! We can't just let him die!"

Indie pulled off his pack and got a first aid kit. "This won't hold for long, but hopefully it'll be enough until we can get back to base..." He ripped off the fatigues, which was their purpose anyway. Indie took a whole roll of gauze and wrapped it around his many wounds. "If you can hear me Jenkins, look at it this way, they missed what was important... you might be able to pay back Corporal Graesser when you get better..." He chuckled and wrapped him up. Already the bandages were getting dark with blood and he looked up grimly. "Chloe... he probably won't survive... even if we left right now."

She nodded. "Please sir... you have to try..."

Indie nodded. "Believe me, I am...." He tossed the empty roll away and grabbed another. "Look for medical supplies, there have to be some around in these crates...."

Liz and Chloe went around and cracked open crates. "Shit, lotsa weapons... but nothing to repair the damage they cause..." She said, crestfallen.

Liz cracked a crate open and looked up. "Sergeant? What's this? It has a red cross on it, but I've never seen anything like it before."

Indie looked up. "Holy shit! That's experimental biofoam... the hell are they getting this stuff? Toss it over!"

She lobbed it to him and he caught it. "This will help, he has a good chance of surviving as long as he doesn't lose any more blood." He injected him with a sedative and a painkiller before sticking the biofoam applicator in the various bullet holes. "It dissolves in 6 hours, until then, it'll hold the wounds shut as long as he doesn't move too much."

Chloe continued to open crates. "How are we going to move this?"

"Meyers is sending trucks, I told him about the situation and he agreed that stealth is out of the question now. He's sending reinforcements too, tons of them, if WOLF tries anything they'll be butchered. However, we're not going to send the crates to main base, we'll be sending them to an unspecified location where we'll store it, we'll send Jenkins back on the first one."

Liz nodded. "Alright, sounds good."

Chloe went to the back. "Hey, we've got a door here... it's pretty heavy... I can't break it in..."

Indie finished patching Jenkins up and gently set him down, walking over. "It's got a retinal scan..." He heard a moan and a badly wounded wolf twitched on the floor. He walked over and lifted him by his hair. "Ow! OW! What do you want!"

"What's that door?"

"That's where we store all our heavy equipment, RPGs, SAMs, 50 cals."

"Why do you have this stuff?"

"We're working with the police! Please don't hurt me! It wasn't my idea!"

"Can you open it?"

"No!"

"Tell me why I shouldn't kill you right now!"

He whimpered. "Please! No!"

"WHY?!"

"B-b-because I'm this close to wetting myself!" He sobbed.

Indie bashed his face into the floor. "I FUCKING SAID, CAN YOU FUCKING OPEN IT?!"

Blood ran down his face. "Yes! YES! Fucking yes! I can open it! Please! Don't hurt me anymore!"

Indie lifted him up and pressed him into the wall. The wolf stared into the device, which scanned over his eyes. A couple of seconds later, a light winked green and a cheery "Ding!" awaited them. Indie pushed him over. "Thanks, now you die painlessly."

"Wait! You said you wouldn--" A single bang from a pistol, which Indie picked up off the ground, silenced him. Indie pushed open the door and gasped. "We're going to need more trucks..."

____________________________________________________________________

The trucks arrived a little while later, and the soldiers they brought, as well as Liz and Indie, loaded them up with the tons of equipment in the warehouse. Chloe was given a break, due to her traumatic experience. She still couldn't remember anything. They finally got back to the base and Jenkins was taken straight back to the infirmary. Chloe followed him. She never left his side the entire night. Desmond pulled Liz into his arms as soon as she came back.

"I was so worried when I heard what happened! I'm so glad you're okay!"

Liz smiled and hugged him back. "Don't worry, I'm fine. I think you should give Chloe a break though for a week or so. She had to get up close and personal with a guy to kill him... and I mean that in both ways."

Desmond nodded. "I already relieved her from duty, it's alright..."

Liz pet his back nervously. "I hope Private Jenkins is alright..."

Chloe Graesser sat beside Tyler Jenkins' bed. "Come on... you can't die on me now... not before I get to know you...." She thought back to the day before, when Tyler had first become drafted into BRAGG.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tyler Jenkins stood alone at a table at Dinner, knowing nobody in BRAGG yet. Chloe sat down beside him. "Ahhh... so you're the new guy."
He nodded. "Yep, Tyler Jenkins ma'am."
Chloe smiled. "Corporal Chloe Grasser."
Tyler saluted quickly. Chloe laughed. "No need to be formal, I don't mind."
He put his arm down. "So... what do you do here?"
She took a sip of her drink. "Me? I'm an explosives expert, it's my job to blow things." Tyler raised an eyebrow. "Up! Blow things up!"
He chuckled. "You can blow me anytime..."
She punched his arm. "Ass..." They smiled at each other. Chloe spoke again. "Any specialties for you?"
"I like to tinker in communications."
"Really now? What made you pursue that?"
He shrugged. "I don't know... I was always fascinated by the fact that you could talk to somebody miles and miles away. As a fox, my studies were shunned, but I was never one to be told what to do, so I pursued it even harder."
Chloe smiled. "I like that, it's good to be determined."
He smiled back. "What made you pursue explosives?"
"Isn't it obvious? I love watching things go boom." She giggled.
He laughed back. "Well, that's true I suppose. Always satisfying to watch things explode."
She grinned. "You know, I like you, even though you're new, you don't seem to be afraid to talk to somebody of higher rank."
He shrugged. "Adapt or die, that's how I was taught."
She smiled. "Well, I have to go to the range and practice my shooting."
He got up too. "Can I join you? I've... never fired an automatic weapon, we weren't allowed them in the force."
She chuckled. "Sure! Maybe I can teach you a few things."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

They traveled down to the range. "Here... this is your standard M-16." She said and handed it to him. "It's a pretty good beginner gun, light and very little recoil."

He looked at it as if it was a foreign object and she giggled. "Wanna know where the safety is?"

He looked back at her. "No no... I know where that is... this is just... new to me, I can't believe that I, a fox, am being allowed to fire an automatic weapon."

She took his paw and put it on the correct position on the gun. "Fight the power, they can't tell you what to do."

He smiled and put his other paw on the trigger. "Alright, here we go." He squeezed the trigger and a stream of bullets impacted on the target, a little off center.

She looked over. "Not bad, just a little off, try aiming down the sight, you can't fire it like a pistol, you need to aim." He nodded and prepared the next volley. With a few cracks the bullets sliced through the next target, many hitting the center and a few were just a couple of inches off. "You're not all that bad of a shot."

He smiled. "Thanks, they always seemed to take a few points off at the academy though, to prevent me from being promoted." He sighed. "Life isn't fair when your genus starts with a V..."

She put a paw on his shoulder. "Not here, everyone is the same here."

He nodded. "You're really nice, I wish I had met somebody as understanding as you back in the force."

She leaned up. "Don't mention it. You know, we should get to know each other a little more." She took out a tiny card and wrote her room number on it, handing it to him then leaning up to give him a kiss on the cheek. "Come talk to me after the mission tomorrow..." She winked and began to walk away, her tail swishing.

Tyler rubbed his cheek and stared down at the card in his paw. "Wow...."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chloe sobbed a little over his bed. "Please Tyler... you can't die... I love you. You risked your life for me..."
A nurse put a paw on her shoulder. "Believe me Miss Graesser, when he wakes up, I'll let him know that you stood beside him for a very long time, but you and he need to rest."
She curled up on the couch. "I'll sleep here, I'm staying here and there's not a thing you can do about it."
The nurse smiled slightly. "I understand..."
____________________________________________________
Liz and Desmond went up to the room together and not a moment passed before the door was closed and they were in each other's arms. Desmond rubbed her back. "You sure you weren't hurt?"
She laughed. "Desmond! I'm FINE."
"Alright, alright, just making sure..."
She smiled. "So? What are we doing tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow, we'll have half our city on our side, I'm broadcasting a message, a propaganda message that will put the foxes on our side. The wolves better fear for their lives, because tomorrow, they won't be so high and mighty anymore."
She grinned. "Sounds awesome, I can't wait to kick some ass."
He nodded. "Tomorrow, we begin war."
