A Good Day To Die
The morning started with the cheering of the soldiers and the sound of arwings zooming overhead as the army assembled within the shadow of the hive while they could hear the skittering and snarls coming from within, many of the soldiers had second doubts until Fang, Tamati and Fox stepped to the front lines and the soldiers began to cheer.
"Listen up! once the air support busts a hole in this thing all hell is gonna break loose! so stay frosty and kill em all!!!"
The moment Fox gave the signal arwings piloted by Falco and Slippy swooped in from the side blasting a gaping hole forcing the aparoids to swarm out onto a blaze of gunfire and flamethrowers while amongst the chaos Fang, Tamati and Fox slipped in while avoiding the reinforcements that seemed to be coming out of nowhere until at last they reached the center of the hive.
Everything seemed calm as they stared at strange vines on the floor giving off a pulsing light throughout the hive until Fang sensed something moving in from behind as his eyes transfomed the moment he began to give off a fierce growl as he drew his sword while Tamati and Fox readied their guns.
"Glad you could make it here brave warriors...It's been so long since I had..."Company" mmhmm."
The moment they looked up they could see the aparoid queen, her face was majestic and gentle and her wings glowed with the dim light coming from the top of the hive almost making it look like she wasn't the enemy until Fox sensed they were being controlled and snapped out of hit.
"You three are perfect."
"For what?"
"This brood is dumb and mindless but with children born from you the hive will be unstoppable and a new race will rule this universe."
"Thanks but we're spoken for."
"That wasn't an offer-RAAAGH!!!"
Her face turned from gentle to monstrous as she revealed the mandibles hidden in her mouth, The moment she flew in the air Tamati and Fox began to blast at her while she dodged the blasts with ease making them destroy the hive wall and covering the area in smoke after knocking Fang into a wall.
"*cough!* where'd she-AAGH!!!"
"WHAT THE?!?"
The vines that were all along the floor turned out to be tentacles that snagged fox and ripped Tamati from his armor leaving only his boxers and catching the queen with his impressively built body.
"Mmmm very nice....you'll be first haah."
Her tongue was just about to enter his mouth Fang appeared out of nowhere and tackled her to the ground, nearly crunching her face in as he began to pound the daylights out of her.
"GRR!! GRR!! RRRAAAAGH!!!"
"NYAAGH!! WHY YOU!!"
The queen broke free and locked Fang in a chokehold slowly crushing his neck while he used all his strength to try and get free of her grip while unkown to her Fox brought out a knife hidden in his boot and freed himself along with Tamat who quietly retrieved thunder edge from his shattered armor.
"Did you honestly think you could be me?!?"
"Actually...I was stalling you-NOW!!!"
Fang then took out foe reaver and plunged it in her chest as she turned away from him squeeling in pain then Tamati unleashed a powerful bolt of lightning that fried her wings and left her crippled and as she lifted her head she found herself staring at the barrel of a flamethrower that Fox had found laying around.
"Lady... you're not my type."
The moment he pulled the trigger the queen was burnt to ashes and with her death the swarm that was with her slowly followed as they all writhed in pain and began to die off one by one, they had finally defeated the queen and were headed home.
A year later the teams were now home with their new wives and children. Born to Tamati was his son Thomas who took after his father, Born to Fox was Marcus who took after his mother and his twin sister Rebecca who took after him and born to Fang was his daughter Princess Jewel who looked very much like her mother but the aparoids still lurked in the galaxy and as Fang promised he would never stop until every last one of them had been hunted down and by the authority of the new galactic council Fang as well as the rest of the starfox team had been appointed representetives to the United Galactic Federation.
