Alone With Desire

A few years after the death of her teacher, a witch finds herself longing for company of any sort and discovers the embrace of a demon looking for the same thing.

A flowing meadow crashed into the side of a mountain like emerald waves dotted with colors created by a myriad of blossoming flowers and herbs. It was here in this pure wilderness where a cottage was set against the base of the mountain with a tiny chimney jutting out of the top. Several herbs were hung out on drying racks near the entrance of the house creating a gentle scent that carried on the wind. The small home was cut far enough into the wilderness that no one bothered to visit unless they needed something from the young witch living there. Poultices, spells that tickled the fancy and more were available so long as they had something to trade but many wondered how such a young girl could live on her own so far removed from a town or village.

The front door opened and out the witch came wearing robes of black and a pointed hat that was bent at an angle. She was a short sheep with white fleece spotted black here and there. Gentle lavender eyes behind small glasses out into the distance as the wind rustled through the meadow and brushed along her body. Her shoulders sagged before she stepped out and began brushing leaves and more away from the stones leading to the cottage with a broom in her hands. Toward the house she went while continuing to sweep, eyes focused on the ground until she arrived at a stone marker with an epitaph engraved on it. Carefully, she swept away gathering debris from the area near it before leaning down to pluck weeds that had managed to grow overnight. Once the work was done, she got up and looked down at the headstone with a small frown. It had been a few years since her teacher and caretaker had passed away. Time was a cruel thing and her teacher had managed to evade its grasp for far too long. When she was done saying good morning and goodbye once more, she turned and headed back to the cottage to start her day properly.

Deni began by checking the herbs out front. They still needed a bit before they were fully dried but thankfully none of the ties had come undone overnight. When she finished with that, she went inside and set her broom by the entrance. The home itself smelled of gentle coffee wafting from the kitchen near the entrance and flowers that were set about here there in pots. Deeper into the home she stepped into a room full of shelves where various glass shapes held glowing liquids. She counted them out and tilted her head wondering if she would need anything else to sell if someone came by looking for it or if she needed a particular potion for herself. When she was certain she didn't need to brew anything new, she headed back to the kitchen to check her stores. There was enough food to keep her steady for the month but even then it would be a good idea to head to town within the week to get herself something extra. She didn't like having to go to town since people stared and said things behind her back. They had never whispered those types of things when her teacher was alive but she supposed that she simply did not command as much respect as her teacher once had.

It was frustrating but not terrible and yet, that seemed like it was her lot in life. She could handle living on her own but she struggled just enough to make it a hassle to do certain things but it did not by any means make her life terrible. Deni also found that she had a natural knack for brewing potions but the physical labor involved in cleaning a cauldron and various other things that she needed to do were difficult and yet, not terrible. It was this day to day mundanity that created the perfect storm made up of tiny irritations compounded by the fact that she was just plain lonely. They were all sore reminders that she didn't have someone at her side to guide her hands anymore, no one to help her and no one to pass the time with conversation or other means.

With a sigh, she headed to the back of her home through a small hall and a door. She hadn't come here to sleep again so she ignored the bed by the wall and instead stood near a small table with a book atop of it. Deni touched the tome's cover, shuddering as she felt a strange chill gripping at her cloven digits. She had been reading it last night late enough to feel the words gripping beneath the eyes. It was a tome on how to call a familiar to your side, one that her teacher had told her had been useless. When she thought about it, she smiled. Her caretaker had said that they did not need a familiar because Deni had been all that they had needed. Of course, it was funny to think of herself as her teacher's familiar and perhaps a bit annoying. She wished she could express that irritation to her teacher if only just to see them laugh at her getting flustered. The smile on her face faded to a dot. There had never been a need for a familiar because as two they could do whatever was needed and she had been left behind because she could do whatever was needed for her to survive and get by but her heart was weak.

Picking the tome up in her arms, she headed out of her room and into the back of the cottage where she found a wide space that had been used for rituals. She plucked a few candles from the shelves and set them down in a circle before placing the grimoire at the center. With a flick of her wrist, the tome opened and the pages fluttered while the candles lit one by one. If she was lonely, if she was tired of going day to day by herself, then she could remedy that with a companion called from another world. The incantation was there to attract exactly what kind of intent you put into the magic. Deni could have a companion that could help her carry heavy things, one that could watch her back and earn her respect when she was in town and perhaps even guide her in her studies of the arcane.

With a smile, she closed her eyes and brought her hands together to start whispering the words that she had seen on the page. There was a phantom pull, a twist of wind through the interior of the home as Deni allowed her desires to color the words coming out of her mouth. The loneliness she had been keeping every year inside of her ever since her teacher had passed away coiled around the air with an ethereal light that twinkled like stars in the dimly lit room. Those bright lights collected at the center of the room above the book and began to twist and swirl until reality itself began to spread open from the force of the energy taking it apart.

Her desire, her hopes, her sadness and more shifted inside of the tear and her incantation echoed within that other world shimmering on the other side of that dimensional rift. It wasn't enough. Deni needed to put more into it to call a proper familiar here. Her emotions were boiling over to the point where tears began to fall from her eyes as she felt the memories of her teacher play in her mind. Loss, grief, guilt and more curled through the air and into the rift before she felt something answer. Her eyes opened wide as a great wind nearly pushed her onto her rear. Deni saw shadows swarming from the dimensional rift colored with the same starshine that she had poured within it. Tendrils clutched the air and tore it open further while a wave of emotions mirroring her own struck her squarely on the chest.

When she took a step forward, the tendrils withdrew into the rift and she feared that she might've scared whatever had been coming through the portal. Deni was soon proven wrong as a large hand appeared from the rift. A tall goat pulled himself from the portal with fur that appeared like the night sky awash with stars. His eyes were sparkling gold and he wore robes over his body tied by a purple sash around his waist. Deni could see the muscle beneath his fur even though he was nearly lithe enough to be called serpentine.

The demon looked around before his eyes regarded her and he stepped out of the portal while rumbling, "Are you the one that called me here?"

She opened her mouth wondering if she was in some sort of danger from such an imposing beast and finally managed to bring out a response, "I am. You see, I thought that I might try to get a familiar because...B-because I was lonely. Of course, it isn't only for that reason that I think that you could be of use to me but rather, there are many things that I will be using you for."

Those bright eyes from another world looked around while he hummed, "I am more accustomed to people of higher status summoning me but at the very least I can hear your case."

Deni touched her digits together while she muttered, "I guess it would be a good reason because I can provide the same companionship that you crave."

"And what makes you think that I want companionship?" Asked the demon with a snort.

The witch paused while looking at the ground before she tipped her head up to meet his gaze and speak, "The spell says that creatures are attracted to what you have to offer often share and empathize with it. In fact, it is meant to call those who empathize rather than those who would feast on it. You are a large imposing demon but I don't feel like you threaten me at all. With all of that said, if you still require something to solidify this deal then I am more than willing to make a trade."

There was a moment where the large goat tilted his head, lowering it to stare her in the eyes before he smiled, "You are a fool to offer me something when you have already found out that our wants align. I cannot help but be fascinated with mortal life and even if I try to deny it your little spell would have told you otherwise. At the same time, if you want to offer me something then who am I to deny it." Deni then braced for what he would ask, waiting for a request of blood, of money or something more precious than that but found herself entirely stunned as the demon got on one knee and took her hand in both of his own and began, "In you I see a sadness that can cloud even the burning sun itself, a grief that shakes me to my core when I think about it. If you would have me in your world as your familiar, then I would put this term upon you. Marry me and be mine."

Her cheeks blazed as she heard the words coming from his mouth and the only sound she could manage was a surprised bleat! Before she could say anything, she needed to manage her thoughts. Everything was a swirl of uncertainty and confusion until she finally blurted out, "I can't just marry you! Ignoring the fact that you're a creature from another world, you're also someone I just met. I don't even know your name!"

"Terin." Said the demon with a rumble.

"Deni, pleased to meet you." Replied the witch almost immediately before she bleated, "But a first name basis isn't enough to just get me to marry you!"

"Then give me the time to convince you."

Her eyes watched the demon as he took one hand off of hers to bring his mouth down and plant a gentle kiss on it. She shuddered from such gentle affection placed by such a large creature. Deni wondered if she should even entertain the thought but the attention was nice and so was the thought of being tended to by an otherworldly suitor. With a sigh, she stated, "Fine. You may attempt to convince me but regardless of what happens promise me you'll be my familiar."

The demon chuckled and planted another kiss on her hand, "Then the deal is sealed."

Behind Terin, the portal closed and the candles in the room began to go out one by one until they were left standing in a room barely lit by the sun filtering in from the other room. When she noticed that he did not let go of her hand immediately, she felt the fluster at her cheeks begin to burn just a bit more while she cleared her throat, "So...How is this going to work?"

"Has anyone ever tried to garner your favor before romantically?"

Deni tilted her head, "No. My teacher was the only one who ever treated me with any sort of affection and I don't know if I can call that romantic. They've been gone for a few years now. Most people I meet in towns and villages are kind of scared of magic so they don't really want to look at me like that or well, maybe they do and just don't say it."

A sigh came from the demon that touched the back of her hand causing her to shiver, "A shame. You're a flower deserving of praise and much better accommodations."

"Thank you, I think but I don't know if I deserve much praise. I just do what I can to keep on going with this lifestyle and as for better accommodations...Well, I don't think I could ever leave this home."

The demon looked into her eyes for a moment but her gaze seemed so far away with the mention of not wanting to leave her home. After a moment of silence, Terin muttered, "I see that they were a great influence on you. I'm sorry if I insulted your home and the memories you cherish."

Deni came out of her stupor with a start and shook her head, "No no, you didn't insult them. It is a bit of a small place and it could use a bit more dusting, you're not wrong about that. I just...I just really miss them. This is the first time I've had a conversation of any sort ever since they passed." She then sighed, "I guess talking to traders and people looking for magical help counts but it isn't really mutual or interesting."

That gentle touch at her hand seemed to tighten just enough to remind her that it was there while the demon got up and smiled down at her, "Well, nothing is saying we can't do a little cleaning together while we talk, right?"

She looked down at her hand in his before she squeezed in return, a small smile touching her features with her reply, "Okay."

Together, the pair went about dusting the home a bit more, polishing the wood when they finished to give it a nice gleam. They went from room to room taking care of what they could until together they arrived at a place which she rarely ever touched. She stood before the door with ears drooping and eyes sullen before she touched the knob and sighed.

"Your master's room?" Said the demon at her side.

Deni looked up at him before nodding, "Yes. I should move their things, make it a guest room or perhaps even a study for myself but it has always felt wrong.

Terin rubbed his chin while humming, "A study might be a nice idea. With a full room to work with you could even conduct a few experiments but if you want to keep it as it is then we could leave it alone." The demon then turned his head to her and continued, "But you should understand, the memories you have won't be gone if we change anything about this room. You can even keep a memento or two just to remind you that you already have everything you need in your mind. What they taught you and more."

A stinging mist formed at the edge of her eyes while she looked at the door in front of her. She could hear her teacher telling her that it was important to have places to study for someone wishing to learn about the arcane, remembered that they had said that their home was hers to use for that purpose and more. With a huff, she grabbed hold of the door's knob and twisted before pushing it open and stepping inside.

"Let's make this room a study." Said the sheep while ignoring the tears coming down her cheeks.

The pair began moving things from the room that wouldn't be needed. They started with the bed, moving it from the room to store it in a large closet along with the sheets and a few other pieces of furniture. A large table and cistern were left behind among various bookshelves containing countless tomes. Even when she grew tired, the demon continued until he had everything where she wanted it. They cleaned the room afterward with a tender touch that had the wood of the shelves and floors sparkling. When they finished, Deni sat on the ground and sighed, eyes closed and she leaned her head against the door.

"You okay?"

Deni nodded with a small smile, "Yes. I think I'll be perfectly fine. I think they would have been proud of me for doing this and even more so for managing to summon such a powerful familiar. They might've had a few things to say about me allowing you to attempt this foolish game."

"Am I winning?" The demon asked with a chuckle.

The witch opened an eye to see Terin standing before her with a small smile and tilted head. When she shut her eye again, she snorted, "Not likely. You're useful around the house but I don't think that counts toward swaying me romantically."

"And how would you know what that sort of thing is?"

Again her cheeks flushed with a rose color beneath the wool while she muttered, "There are books."

She opened both of her eyes when she heard him laugh, "I see!" He boomed, "You might know something from those types of books I suppose. Tell me, did those books have people kissing? Touching one another beneath the clothes and what not?"

If her cheeks could have burst into flames without magic then they would have right now while she chewed through the words, "I admit, they might have."

Her body froze as he brought a hand up to press against her cheek, the touch cool compared to the ever-growing heat of her face as his words came, "I can make those books a reality for you and be more than the digits between your thighs."

Deni bleated, "Who said that I did anything like that?!" He simply stared at her with one brow raised and a small smile glued to his expression. That stare kept the heat in her face steadily rising until she spat with her floppy ears raised, "Fine! I do...Even before my teacher passed it was a way to explore myself and afterward it was a way to relieve the loneliness. Are you happy now? I'm flustered, angry and embarrassed beyond all reason!"

A gentle peck was planted on the side of her mouth that caused her to freeze, the heat in her face chilling for a second while she looked dead ahead at the demon who simply watched her with those golden eyes. She didn't know anything about him. Didn't know anything at all except that he was a demon who most likely had powerful magic who was willing to dedicate himself to her if she accepted his proposal. Even if she didn't, he was still willing to stick around most likely to convince her. It made her heart throb in strange ways and perhaps it was nothing more than a simple infatuation but the feeling was welcome compared to anything else.

"Don't think this means I want to marry you." She muttered before taking hold of his cheeks and planting her mouth against his.

Terin's large hands came up to return the gesture, thumbs pressed beneath the wool and against her skin to rub gentle circles while their mouths began to meld together. At first, the kiss was strange and new, shivers being sent down her form while she adjusted to his lead. Those shivers gave way to a gentle warmth that blossomed from the parting and locking of their lips. Tendrils made of inky shadows curled beneath her to cradle and caress her body while his hands remained secured on her cheeks as if to keep her steady as he began to draw himself up and back. Deni followed with her body shivering, lips locked to his while she allowed them to part for a moment to feel his tongue dipping down against her own. It felt so difficult to get up, difficult to keep herself from stumbling over but the gentle caress of the tendrils kept her steady.

She could feel her breath running low as her heart raced and her mind fluttered unable to hold herself back from the sensations pulling her in further and further while her mouth continued to search for more of that wet and loving kiss. The thumbs at her cheeks continued to run gentle circles as if to ease the heat boiling in her mind while she sunk deeper to the motion. Finally, he pulled his mouth away from hers with a wet smack, strings of spittle marking their connection while she breathed in deep and trembled like a leaf.

When she managed to speak, her words melted together as, "Don't think this means I accept your proposal"

The demon let out a rumbling chuckle, "If I can do this every day we are together then I won't mind so much. You'd be mine after a while of this anyway."

She wanted to challenge that, wanted to tell him that he was wrong but instead the words that escaped her in a sigh, "Prove it."

Terin smiled and brought his mouth close to hers, pecking the sides of her lips causing her to shiver while she waited for him to go further. He hovered his mouth over hers until her body pushed her forward and forced their lips together. His smile grew as the shadows brought her closer, tugging and worming their way around her body as their lips rejoined for another meeting. Mouths parted once more to allow their tongues to join and dance while the tendrils seemed to writhe and twist with just a bit more energy. A stray inky shadow slipped inside of her robes causing her to hop a bit. The sensation was a cool press against her body sliding up to her neck to gingerly coil against her chin but she soon ignored it as she found herself sinking into the kiss again. All she needed was his kiss to feel complete, all she needed were his hands at her cheeks to make her feel secure and held. When she felt her passion boiling over, she dipped in closer with her own hands coming up to grab hold of his cheeks in kind and attempt to coax more of his love, more of his passion and lust to see what he had to offer with this sweet reality. Both of his hands moved away from her face to take hold of her shoulders and draw her closer as the tendrils curled around the pair to squeeze them together and twist through her clothes. She shuddered and squirmed while she felt the shadows grinding against her crotch and twisting against her chest and the heat of the kiss wasn't enough to distract her from the sensation of having her body touched in so many places at once beneath her robes.

Finally, she tore her mouth away and gasped aloud, "Ah, wait a moment. Please. I can't handle so much at once."

The shadows retreated and the demon chuckled as he gave her cheek a peck, "Should we save this for another day?"

Deni took the demon by the hand and opened the door to head out of the study and into her room. Once they were inside, she let go of him and took off her glasses to set them on a shelf before grabbing hold of the hem of her robes to drag them over her head letting the cool air of the room brush against her. Next came her underwear which she pulled down to her ankles before stepping out of them.

She then turned and breathed out, "Now that there is a bed, we can do this comfortably, right?"

The demon chuckled and his clothes faded into the shadows around him revealing his nude form to her. Deni's eyes grew wide as she saw the massive length twitching before her with a flared tip. Both of her hands came up to clasp onto it as he stepped to her. A touch at the back of her head guided her lips to the tip of that massive bestial shaft while her hands trailed down the length all the way to the balls to feel over each heavy orb. The shadows at her back began to grow again, a tendril coiling around her leg until it brushed against her virgin slit causing her to tremble while her touch moved back up to the shaft to start stroking it as best she could. Curiosity urged her to plant a soft kiss on the tip of the cock being presented while her digits continued to run the length up and down. The sound of the demon humming urged her to continue, her tongue coming out to drag against the flared tip before heading down to the shaft as she lowered herself further and further to worship that heated member. When she was on her knees, her mouth reached those fat orbs while her hands continued to work the shaft, the warmth of the balls on her mouth causing her to shudder. Slowly, her tongue came out to drag against each of those lovely orbs to get them nice and slick with her spit while she felt the tendril around her leg tightening.

Deni gasped and squirmed while she felt the tendril pressing at her already wet folds, pushing and pushing until the tip of that slender thing began to spread her apart. She focused on licking the heavy balls before her to give proper worship to this demon that graced her with these sensations. The warmth of his balls against her mouth, the cool tendril sliding inside of her heat and so much more brought her heart a twisting pulse that curled throughout her body. Her loneliness had been pushed away and replaced by the combination of sensations crashing within. Soon, her mind was focused on the task ahead of her, one hand stroking the cock above her head while the other brought those heavy orbs to her mouth to continue attending to them with her tongue.

Her movements stopped as she felt the tendril within her bury itself deeper and swell causing her to double over with her snout pressed against the demon's heavy balls. Deni's eyes shut as she opened her mouth and let out a sweet sigh while the shadow within her twisted and writhed against her inner walls as if to stretch her further and further. When the tendril within her finally eased up, she felt the demon's hand at one of her horny tugging her up slowly. She allowed herself to be pulled, body trembling while the tendril within her began to gradually slip outside of her cunt until it finally did with a wet pop.

The witch could only stand by the grace of the digits tugging her up by the horn, her eyes half-lidded and full of glazed dreams while she stared up at Terin. Down his other hand went to grab hold of her waist, digits sliding around before his arm curled around her body to tug her up against his form. He pulled her toward the bed where he set her down, tendrils coming up to grab her ankles and urge them to spread out. His mouth passed over hers just when she breathed out a sweet little bleat while he took hold of his shaft to bring it against her pussy.

Deni could feel the world passing over her like a dream full of clouds carrying her away. If he had asked her right now if she would marry him then she would have said yes a thousand times. The flared tip of his shaft slid inside of her easily enough while their lips locked and their tongues met for another kiss. Her chest was rising up and down as she felt the pressure of her insides being stretched apart again. The cool shadows coiling around her legs and pressing at her rear were a comfort that she gladly drove and squirmed against. Terin took his time in bringing that thick thing inside of her, his strong hips rocking toward her while he kept his mouth locked on her own. Her arms wrapped around his body as she felt her insides being stretched further and further until his balls were at her little tail. She trembled like a leaf against him while groaning to his mouth, body attempting to bring herself closer to him with every movement just as he started to bring his hips back and forth.

The thrusting was done as gently as possible, his cock dragging in and out of her gingerly. Even when he picked up speed, he continued rocking himself into her rather than jerking and jolting. Their lips pulled away when she found herself growing low on air, eyes fluttering as she looked between them to see his cock sliding inside of her with every push. She could feel the tip grinding against her deepest spot, body trembling while she clutched onto the demon's form. Every twitch of that thick bestial shaft inside of her was another threat of an orgasm painting her insides and at this point, she didn't care if he kept it inside of her.

Her hips began to move just a bit more to encourage the demon to go faster and he answered by using more of his strength to thrust inside of her. His hips met her thighs with a slap with every thrust, balls clapping against her to join the sound as she felt her insides being pushed by that massive cock. Already she could feel her own orgasm mounting, the pressure building in her gut until she suddenly let out a loud moan to join the song of their lovemaking. Even as she felt the gushing heat of her climax tightening over his shaft, he did not stop and instead went faster. Her body was being jolted with every thrust, her eyes glazed over with a lovely dream while the demon closed his mouth over hers again. Just as their tongues met, warm seed began to wash her insides.

Deni's eyes grew wide, her hips jolting upward as she felt thick ropes of cum spurt inside of her. The demon's hips still rocked back and forth gradually as if to push each load of his seed deeper within her until it felt like she was growing fat from the stuff. When it was finally finished, he pulled out slowly and removed his mouth from hers to let out a sigh into the air that sent a shiver down her spine.

"Marry me?" He muttered quietly.

The witch leaned back on the bed. She felt like a sweaty mess about to melt into a puddle of mixed pleasure but even then she managed to chuckle, "Not yet." When she saw him tilt his head, she brought her hands to his cheeks gently and smiled, "You have to show me much, much more of your body and what you can do. I need to know every part of you before I can commit myself but I think I can say without a doubt that right now I'm in love."

Terin smiled and brought his mouth over hers to share one last kiss while they sunk to one another, her eyes closed to let herself fade away to the land of dreams. For once in so long, she would rest without feeling empty.
