A poem about contemplation.
Western Lake View of Mt. Fuji in the Early Evening
I made a paper lantern, in honour of a friend, whose life I had earned, from beginning to end.
I want to put it out, right onto the lake; if my actions carry doubt, let it be for my sake.
The hills catch what's left, of the day's final light; the greatest act of theft, comes without any fight.
