"Come now, you know I can't come with you to school." The angelic figure frowned, her glowing white fur seeming to radiate as her hand lifted to pat the crying cub before her. "If I could, I would...but this is something you have to do alone."

"P-please, I-I want you to come with me!" The child pulled at the hand on his head, the vixen remaining firmly in place as the young cat tugged on her with each word. "J-just this once, p-please!"

"Alex, who are you talking to in there?" The door opened as a tall feline walked in, her hips swaying with each step - the scent of heavy perfume almost radiating from her.

"J-just my angel, mom."

"Alright honey, tell your angel you have to go to school - I'll be waiting down stairs." The feline gave a half-hearted grin before closing the door - the sound of the truck outside reaching the kitten's ears soon after as he looked up to the vixen again.

"You'll be fine, I promise~"

"Jake." The kitten stopped as he felt a hand press down on his shoulder - the last few students leaving the room as he turned his head to see the teacher peering down at him with a grin. "You normally have to wait here a few hours before being picked up, right?"

"That's right...w-why?" The cub felt his hands grip onto the straps of his backpack as a familiar knot formed in his throat - some part of his mind worried he was somehow in trouble already on his first day of school.

"I was wondering if you wouldn't mind staying after class with me each day instead of going to the regular program."

"H-huh...w-what for? A-am I in trouble?"

"Well, no - you are not in any sort of trouble." The teacher chuckled to himself as his hand left the kitten's shoulder - almost gliding across the room to shut the door before turning to continue once more.

"I've heard about you from some of the other teachers. You've shown to be a very...promising student. I just thought you could use a little special tutoring is all - it'll be fun." The wolf's smile widened even more as his sharp white teeth glimmered in the evening light fluttering in through the windows. "So, what do you say?"

"P-Promising?" The nervousness faded away as a blush came across Jake's face, a slight grin replacing the anxious frown he wore just seconds before. "I-I guess. I-I'd have to ask my mom. W-what kind of 'special t-tutoring'?"

"No, no - no need to ask your mother. This would have to be between us...a little secret." The teacher's eyes glimmered as he watched the kitten's smile grow even more. "As for what kind of tutoring...well - there are a few things I think you'd have loads of fun learning~ We can go ahead and start today if you'd like."

"S-sure!" The last bit of apprehension faded as Jack's eyes lit up a bit.

"Sit down here and I'll be back in a second." The wolf moved swiftly over to his desk before pulling a chair out just to the side of it before disappearing into a backroom - returning just seconds after as he wheeled out the ancient television that marked many easy days without the normal rigors of schoolwork.
