#3 of Starfox Adventures Parody

And so, the Starfox stories continue, bringing us back to Krystal after she climbed down from the mountain. She's not exactly in the best of shape at the moment, rather stripped down, but she's still a smart and tough woman. She knows how to keep moving forward, and she has something to pursue, now.

A Starfox Adventures Parody Chapter 3: The Coldest Enemy Sponsored by Asbeoth By Draconicon

The long fall from Krazoa Palace took her most of the night, but Krystal reached the foot of the mountain without incident. Either the SharpClaw were too busy with their conquest of the palace to follow her, or, as she suspected was the more likely case, the General was too busy punishing them for their failure of letting her go for them to mount a pursuit. Whatever the reason, she was happy to leave the area unmolested.

She followed the river down from the mountain, sometimes swimming, sometimes walking as the mood and her energy took her. Sometimes, it was easier to float along, allowing the stream to do the work, and sometimes, it was better for her to have her feet under her, even with the occasional sharp rock jamming itself into her sole.

It took her a while to get used to the feeling of being as exposed as she was. Not just due to the weather, though that was most of it for a while. The cold was something that she was used to, for the most part; she just had more sensitive things exposed than usual.

No, it was more the feeling of being...exposed. She had worn that furred bra for years, or variants of it, at least, and she'd always gone around with sandals rather than barefoot as some of the wilder members of her species had done. Going without both now, allowing more of her body to be seen, even if there was no one there to see it...

It made her feel a trifle daring. Perhaps even a little wild herself.

She smiled at the thought. It was something that she might need to consider for later.

At some point while riding the river, she must have fallen asleep, for only the rushing sound of water going over a fall woke her. She frantically swam for the edge of the river, pulling herself onto some sort of carved stone just before the falls. She watched it go over the edge, shaking her head, and then turned to look at where it had taken her.

She was in some sort of hollow, some open place between the trees. The river must have taken her far from the mountains indeed if the world had changed so much.

Looking behind her, she could see mountains not that far from her, but no sign of the palace from which she had descended. That must have been far further away.

But there were other paths up, paths that led towards ladders that would allow her to climb, and she recognized some of the lettering from her brief time touching the minds of the other creatures of this planet.

"SnowHorn Wastes," she muttered, reading one out loud. "Garunda Te..."

The Krazoa Spirit had been very definite about getting to that particular individual. If she wanted to save the planet, if she wanted to keep this whole world from flying apart, that was what she had to do.

She turned back to the hollow, giving it a cursory examination, making sure that there was nothing here that she needed. The blue vixen's eyes flicked across the various spike-tailed dinosaurs that seemed to call it home, as well as over the plants. There were a few SharpClaw in the area, but they seemed to be more or less ignoring the rest of the dinosaurs.

It seemed peaceful enough, but -

A sudden roaring from above yanked her eyes towards the source. A great ship flew down from the heavens, shining in the sun, and Krystal's eyes went wide as she watched it circle the hollow once before coming in for a landing. She ducked down, several leaves from the ferns about her tickling her chest, and she cocked her head to the side as a mammal creature hopped out of it.

He was not unlike her, though he was more covered than any of the warriors of her people. The way that he looked about, though, was familiar.

A scout? she wondered. Or a special warrior?

Either way, it meant that another outsider had taken interest in the planet, and that meant that things were going to start changing around here.

She watched as the SharpClaw poked their heads out from behind their rocks, her hand clenching around her staff. If they decided to pick a fight, he was outnumbered. She was too far away to stop an attack, but if he could hold out -

PEW PEW PEW!

The sudden barrage of light from his weapon stopped her in her tracks, leaving her staring at the strange male. He stood there, smirking over the bodies of a number of the enemy, only to rain down more destruction as more of the SharpClaw hopped down from the ridges. It was only when they got close that he stopped using the strange weapon, grabbing one of theirs and joining combat.

He is a warrior, then, she admitted, putting her staff back. If he can handle that many, then he does not need my help.

She turned from the fight, making her way back to the ladders. Whatever the outsider was here for, doubtlessly there would be someone in the hollow to tell him where to find it. She had her own task, and she needed to complete it.

Krystal returned to the ladders, and began the long climb back towards her destination.

Snow. She had not expected snow.

The mostly-naked vixen stared out of the warm-ish cave at the falling snowflakes, realizing that she might have made a mistake. The cold hadn't penetrated into the warm, underground river just yet, but she knew that the moment that she stepped out of the darkness, she would find herself freezing her tail off. No matter how thick her coat, she wasn't a species that was bred for the cold.

She could already feel her nipples going hard, making little points through her fur as they got stiff and a bit more sensitive. Krystal pulled her staff out from behind her back, taking a few deep breaths as she clenched her hands around the middle of it.

She was not defenseless against the cold, nor against the snow. She could make it through. However, it would cost her a great deal of energy. She just hoped that it wouldn't cost too much.

The blue vixen pulled at the magic of her staff, pointing it down at the ground, and released.

Fire burned from the jeweled tip of her staff, searing the rock in front of her and melting away the encroaching snow. She walked forward slowly, stepping on the wet part of the rock rather than the glowing parts, burning a path through the frozen water.

It was not the same as walking on the warm earth. Her toes were quickly dunked in the squelching mud as the snow melted to water and slipped into the no-longer-icy earth, but it was better than walking through the freezing cold. The vixen shivered as some of the chill still cut through the stream of fire from her staff, pinching at her ears and her nose and her nipples like clawed fingers.

Need to find shelter fast, she thought, pushing forward through the snow and out, into the open. Need to find somewhere that's covered...better if it's indoors...

She doubted that this Garunda Te would have anything that resembled that, considering the dinosaurs that called this planet home, but there had to be something that was close to being sheltered. Even the heavily furred ones out here, the mammoths, the SnowHorns, had to have a place to go when the weather got particularly bad.

She kept pushing through the snow, cutting a path through the cold with her staff. She got the occasional weird look from the mammoth creatures as she passed by, though there were few enough of them that she didn't really notice it that much.

Every footstep involved pulling her feet free of the mud, feeling the slow, sucking, squelching feeling against her feet. Every time she took a step, her toes sunk into it first, the sense of squishing mud between the digits, the sucking feeling of her weight pushing her down into the soaked earth, the pulling feeling as the mud dragged her deeper.

And yet, there was a strange sense of...satisfaction in the way that it felt. No, not satisfaction.

There was a hint of pleasure to it that confused her.

Krystal put the thought out of her mind for now, not wanting to be distracted from the course at hand, but made a mental note to consider what was happening to her and what it might mean for the future.

She cut her way through the snow, around a frozen lake to a cave opening on the other side. She was thankful for the lack of snow and wetness coming from above, but quickly found that she had another problem.

There was a SharpClaw standing between her and the rest of the cave system.

She stared at him, and he stared back, leaning against a great gold-covered trident that looked capable of spitting her from end to end. Krystal leaned against the cave wall, and he did the same a few feet away.

"I need to get through," she said, eventually.

"No getting through. Boss says that I keep it closed."

"Your boss isn't someone that I have to listen to."

"You pay scarabs to pass?"

"What are...oh."

She could see it through his mind as he spoke. Glittering little bug things that were alive, but barely so, with hides that could be traded as if they were currency. He wanted them as payment to allow her through the tunnels.

And there was no way that she could go back and find those, not when it was that cold. Not when she was this tired.

The blue vixen leaned against the wall, huffing softly. Her breath was just barely visible, particularly as she looked towards the cave mouth again.

There might be a few under the rocks and throughout the clearing...

But that would mean using her powers to scan for them, using her mind to look for lifesigns that she didn't know if she could recognize, all while she was verging on exhaustion from burning through the snow and creating a path for herself.

More to the point, it would mean using more of her energy to keep the cold at bay, and she didn't have a lot of that left. Her staff had burned through most of the magic that she'd been storing up, and she didn't have anything to restore that.

There has to be another way...

The vixen leaned her head back against the rock, grinding her feet against the stone ground. Some of the mud came off, thankfully, leaving her feet somewhat clean again.

As she stretched out her legs, as she crossed her arms behind her head to try and get comfortable while she considered her situation, she could feel the eyes of the big, blue SharpClaw resting on her. She tried not to think about being stared at, or the feeling of what he might want if he got his hands on her, but it was hard not to think about the fact that he was ogling her from head to toe.

And why shouldn't he? she supposed. I am showing off everything that I have...near enough...

The vixen looked down at herself. Her curves were...not small, she had to admit. She had breasts that more than filled her hands, and her hips had grown over the course of her life, leading her to get more and more expansive loincloth belts to keep herself covered. They swayed without her permission most of the time, her hips did, and her mounts in the past had seemed rather...

Well, they hadn't complained about her posterior against them, that was for sure. It almost seemed like they took some satisfaction from its softness, at times.

The SharpClaw was looking her over, his eyes going from her exposed breasts to the sides of her hips and rump, all the way down to her bare feet before going back up again, and his loincloth wasn't hiding much.

She remembered what the Krazoa Spirit had told her, what it had tested her on, and she shivered as a possibility occurred to her.

There was another way to get past him without bribing him with cash. There was another way to get what she wanted while giving him something that he obviously craved.

The idea of trading her body was vaguely reprehensible, something that no warrior would do as a normal course of action. If one could not defeat their enemy or reason with them, then they more or less deserved some of the consequences of what happened to them. Defeat did not grant one the right to behave dishonorably.

Yet, at the same time...

She wasn't sure, but she imagined that the SharpClaw would not be this interested if it wasn't something that he was allowed at other times. Was theirs a culture that did a bargain like this? To offer favors of this sort for favors of another sort?

It could be a cultural difference...it might not sacrifice my honor if I allow myself to do as they do...

Curiously, she shifted her position, just to see what he might do. She lifted one leg and lowered the other, letting the former lift her loincloth up just enough for him to see down her thigh and to see the top of her sex.

And as soon as she did, his erection nearly pushed his loincloth to the side, popping out and throbbing. The SharpClaw huffed, steam puffing from his nose as he stared at her.

Yes, he wants me, alright...

She looked out of the cave once more, considering going for the scarabs anyway. It would be more akin to her own code of ethics, something that she could feel more comfortable about in the long run. She would be unsullied, and there wouldn't be any real need for him to touch her, then.

At the same time, she knew that it would affect her mission in the long run. Her honor, such as it was, was something that could be satisfied in other ways. Her mission, on the other hand, could not.

She sighed to herself, standing up. She walked over to the taller SharpClaw, looking up at him.

"What do you want? I want to get through; what will it cost me?"

"You pay scarabs to pass."

"And if I don't have scarabs?"

"Then you pay..."

He looked her over, almost like he was trying to decide how she should pay. Krystal said nothing, more for the fact that she was as inexperienced as she was than for any other reason. She knew of the pleasures that could come from between her legs, knew that was how mating was done, but there seemed to be many more ways of having fun with one another that she didn't know about.

Better to learn rather than to volunteer.

Eventually, the big blue reptile pointed at her sex.

"You pay with that."

"You want this?"

She held her loincloth up, letting the cool air of the tunnel finally touch her sex. It was already a bit puffy, despite herself. Her body remembered the touch of the Krazoa spirit, what it had done with its tentacles, how she had felt while being held and manipulated by its power. She wondered, in the depth of her mind, if the SharpClaw would be anywhere near as good.

Probably not, but it was a fantasy worth considering.

He reached for her, his thick, scaly fingers scratching against her thighs at first before curling their way up to her sex. She hissed as they ground against her, the rough touch nevertheless enticing to the virgin fox.

"Pussy's hot. Already good?"

"What is...pussy?" she asked.

"This. Sex is pussy."

Pussy. That was the word that they called it, then. It was something that was worth knowing.

She stood there as stoically as she could as she was felt up, enduring the touch of his fingers against her 'pussy' as he rubbed it, grinding the thick digits against her. Despite his clumsiness, her body soon responded, starting to get wet between her legs and dripping down to the floor. It was warm, though, and that was the important thing. It was hot and wet and it meant that she wasn't going to freeze while they were doing this.

She leaned back a bit, letting her legs spread as he worked one finger towards her entrance. She remembered the Krazoa's tentacle pushing there, and she braced herself for the pleasure that came then.

It came, but there was something else with it. A roughness, an ache that came from the clawed finger shoving inside of her. She gritted her teeth, gasping at the sudden, harsh penetration, feeling herself lifted up on muddied tiptoes.

"Nnngh..."

"Wet pussy. Nice and hot."

"That's...good, I suppose."

"Yes, very good. Good for me."

The SharpClaw was grinning like a fool as he fingered her, obviously consumed in what he was doing. She had to admit, despite the discomfort of the thick digit inside of her, she was definitely feeling a hint of the pleasure that she was expecting. Not the full, shocking force that the Krazoa had given her, but something.

She rolled her hips experimentally, bumping her little nub against the finger -

"Mmmph..."

It wasn't the same, but there was pleasure again. There was something.

The blue vixen rolled her hips from time to time against his finger, building up her pleasure as he focused on his own. He was slapping his palm against her, clapping against her sex, her pussy, and his other hand -

The smell of musk suddenly filled the cavern as he pulled his penis out from beneath his loincloth. It was thick and heavy, with scales and bumps that ran up and down along the sides of the thing. His member dripped from the tip already with the mating fluids, and she could smell it, too, the harsh, hot scent attacking her nose and forcing itself into her brain.

The pheromones were strong, but not of the right species to affect her. All it did was make her a little dizzy as she rolled her head around her shoulders. The SharpClaw pumped his cock as he fingered her, but she could see the look in his eyes, the way that he stared down at her pussy and then back at her face.

He wanted to do more than what he was doing, and he was debating if he could get away with it.

Krystal half-wondered what something so large would feel like inside of her, but she remembered what the Krazoa spirit had said. She needed to maintain herself. She needed to fight against the temptations that they offered her, to keep from becoming a toy to their pleasures.

The blue fox reached out, grabbing the head of his penis in hand, giving it a single squeeze.

"Touch...but you are not...going further..."

"You pay to pass..."

"I'm paying with this...You aren't...getting that..."

"Fine. But blue creature pays harder."

He pulled his finger out of her, only to shove two inside afterward. Her eyes went wide at the sudden stretch, her fingers squeezing down on the SharpClaw's shaft as he started humping into her grip.

The clapping feeling of his hand against her sex was bad enough earlier, but now? Now he was positively lifting her off her feet with every sudden thrust from below. Krystal gasped, her eyes going wider and wider as she started to get wetter and wetter from the strange, powerful stimulation that he gave her.

The slippery feeling of his shaft sliding between her fingers was not unpleasant, either. It was wet and hot, and while confusing, she understood what it was meant for. It was simulating the act of mating, of taking pleasure with another. Pleasure that a warrior seldom had. Pleasure that she was rapidly getting an education on.

Take control, she told herself. You aren't going to survive if you don't take control!

The blue fox grabbed his shaft that much more firmly, squeezing around the space just behind the head. She flicked her thumb across a bit of saggy flesh there, pulling on it, and the SharpClaw grunted.

A sensitive spot, then. She hit it again, stroking him for him, all while starting to ride his fingers. The soft thump of feeling them hit the bottom of her sex, the strange feeling of being stretched, the pleasure that came when she was the one in charge of how she moved and how it touched her: it rewarded her for being in charge, and she took the message for what it was.

She kept moving, kept rolling her hips, kept stroking him. He panted now, he grunted and moaned and shivered as she worked his body like a finely tuned instrument. The way that he was gasping, the way that he was thrusting away like some dumb beast; it was all part of the plan, all part of the pleasure that hit her as she was the one in charge.

This is a weapon that I can use, she thought. If I take control, then they cannot hurt me. If I am the one that takes them, then they cannot take me. If I am the one to give pleasure, then they cannot be the one to take it from me.

It was a hard thing, a strange thing, but it was one that she felt that she could understand and use against them.

Hump, pump. Hump, pump. That was the rhythm that they established, one hump of her hips against his fingers for one stroke along his cock. The SharpClaw was gasping, grunting, growling against her, but it was clear that he wasn't going to last much longer. She pushed him, stroking him that little bit harder, that little bit faster...

And he finally went over the edge.

Krystal couldn't quite help a grin as he came down the corridor, shooting his seed over the floor. She pulled away from him, leaning back, and smiled slightly in her own way. She wondered if it was something that looked seductive; she almost felt that way at that point.

The blue-scaled SharpClaw looked at her with a panting, goofy sort of grin. Shaking his head slowly, he grunted as he made himself come together like the soldier that he was supposed to be, pulling his fingers free.

"You pass. But don't tell boss."

"I won't if you won't."

He chuckled, standing to the side. She wobbled as she walked around him, one foot squelching into the line of seed that he had left on the floor, but she managed to walk around him, making her way into the darkened tunnels.

Oddly, she felt a bit dissatisfied at the end of it. She knew that she hadn't climaxed the way that she had with the spirit, but she hadn't expected a lack of that to be so...annoying. It felt as though she had done all the work and got none of the reward.

She looked down at herself, and she blushed as she realized that the edges of her loincloth were sticking to her thighs, held there by the juices that had come rippling from her sex.

That...that hasn't happened before...

Krystal's cheeks continued to burn as she paused just past the SharpClaw, using her loincloth to wipe up her fur as best she could. There was a hint of a different scent to her, something that reminded her of the smell of heat, but milder. Something that was more...desiring, rather than demanding.

The fact that it was coming from her was a bit embarrassing, but she didn't want to say anything about it. Nor did she want to experiment with how it was getting stronger when she thought about getting more of the pleasure that she'd gotten from the SharpClaw's fingers or the Krazoa's tentacles.

"Where do I go from here?" she asked, looking at the fork in the tunnel.

"Take right."

"Thanks."

She took the right-hand fork, trying to ignore the soft 'squelch' of SharpClaw seed under one foot, as well as the soft squish that came between her legs from her own juices still trying to flow.

It was so confusing trying to figure this out. Sex was a powerful thing, a thing that meant that the species continued, but she had never thought that there was this much pleasure to be had outside of that. Even the roughness, the crude 'trade' that came between her and the SharpClaw behind her, had been something better than it should have been.

I have to remember not to indulge too much, she reminded herself. The spirit said that the SharpClaw break others through that pleasure. They could break me, if I'm not careful. Do not do this too much, Krystal. Do not do this too much...

She continued through the darkness, shaking her head as she walked.

Eventually, she reached the end of the tunnel, and what she saw didn't make her happy.

There was a great stone gate between her and the rest of the mountain pass, and it was staffed by more of the SharpClaw. There were a number of little ones on the walls, as well as a series of wooden crates that had been obviously stacked to block the way through the gates. Splinters along the ground told her that something had broken through before, and this was just a way of keeping it blocked until the gate could be replaced.

It wasn't a good block, though, and she was pretty sure that it would take little to break it down.

She reached for her staff, spinning it out behind her. The blue vixen looked down at the gem on the top, mentally measuring how much energy it and she had left.

Not enough to set the pile on fire...and that would call all of the SharpClaw in the area like a beacon...

Not to mention that they had cannons on top of the wall, yet another thing that didn't make sense. They'd been using swords and clubs this whole time. The flying galleon that Scales had used had obviously come from off-world, and so had these things.

Where are they getting these things?

It was a question for another time. If she was going to continue her journey through the mountains to the Wastes, then she needed to get through the wall. The question she needed to focus on was how to do that, not how the SharpClaw were getting their weapons.

She hopped down from the cave, keeping low. The snow and ice cleared the rest of the mud from her feet, but almost instantly became a torture all their own, freezing her toes and her soles. Even as she crept about, she could feel the cold settling in, creeping further and further up her body as she walked

It wouldn't be long before it was completely through her legs and into her middle. Her fur wasn't doing nearly enough to hold it back. She needed to be quick.

She made her way to another supply stash that she'd seen from the cave, hiding all the while. There were a series of crates about, some of which were wooden, some of which weren't. They were, however, all stacked for easy climbing, and she clambered over them, fumbling about in one thing after another, half-hoping she'd find clothing as well as something to blow through the wall.

There was no clothing, only more of the armor, but she did find something. A few small, round things that she had seen during her travels, things that would explode if you did...something...with them before throwing them.

Krystal held one of them in hand, looking it over. She'd never used one before, but if she could figure it out -

Poomf!

The sound was faint, just far off enough to tempt her to dismiss it, but the whistling that came after -

Krystal threw herself off the pile of crates, and not a moment too soon. She crashed into the snow and ice just as the cannonball slammed into the spot where she'd been standing. More than half the supplies were smashed in one go, splinters flying through the air and shrapnel raining down from above.

They're willing to destroy all that to get me? Or are they just stupid?

Considering the face that the one in the tunnels made after their fun, she imagined it was more the latter.

Rolling onto her stomach, she pushed herself to her feet. She didn't have a lot of time before they got another shot off, and she still didn't know what the little explosive ball in her hand did. She knew it would explode if she did the right thing to it, but what was the right thing? She didn't -

Poomf!

The blue vixen ran as fast as she could for a second before throwing herself to the ground. Just in time, as a cannonball hit the ground behind her, throwing snow and ice through the air, followed by fire and smoke. She was soaked with the sudden snow-melt and mud, and she struggled to get back to her feet.

The cannon chased her all the way back to the cave, and by the time she was tucked back into safety, she was completely soaked through. Her loincloth, her fur, everything was soaked with the water from the sudden melt of snow and the explosions of the cannons. She panted for breath, shivering already despite the greater warmth of the inside of the caves.

Nnngh...

She pulled her staff close, squeezing it against her side, holding the little exploding ball against her other side. She'd gotten something useful, but the cannon had her pinned down. There was no leaving the cave until they stopped aiming at her, and who knew when that was going to happen.

Worse, she was freezing, her fur getting a little frosted at the tips from the water on it and the cold air. If she didn't find something warm, and soon, then she could easily go into shock, or worse.

The cold death was not a fate that she wanted for herself.

She looked at her staff again. She could create more fire, but lacking any fuel, all she could do was heat the rocks around her. That would fade quickly, and she'd use up most of her remaining energy, but...

Well, it would give her time. Maybe enough time to rest and recover.

Maybe enough time to stay alive.

She tucked the exploding ball between her back and the rock behind her, pulled out her staff, and pointed at the far wall. Even as she pulled at her magic and let the fire stream free again, she could feel herself struggling to stay awake.

Just stay awake for as long as you can...then a little longer...

The End
